This started as a quickie piece. It didn't finish up that way. There is, by the way, no relationship between this story and my recent (and forthcoming) Altered Fates stories. * * * * * Bikini Beach: Brother-In-Law By Ellie Dauber (c) 2003 Lynette Dorsey was working at the sink when Carter Dorsey came into the kitchen. He stood by the door for a minute, watching the way her slender body moved and how the early evening light made her dark blonde hair seem to glow. He held his breath and tiptoed up behind her. "How's the prettiest woman I know?" he asked as he put his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "Carter, stop it." Lynette wriggled free from his grasp. "What's the matter? Can't a man show you a little affection?" "He can if he's my husband. You're just his brother." Lynette looked at Carter for a moment. He looked like her Jason, the same slim, athletic build, same short, sandy brown hair. But where Jason was a gentle loving husband, Carter was a self- serving letch. "Yeah, but Jason won't be back from his tour on the Hornet for another two months. A beautiful woman like you shouldn't have to wait that long for a man to satisfy her needs." He ran his fingers through her hair. "I don't know why he signed up for another hitch in the Navy anyway. I sure wouldn't want to be halfway around the world from a wife like you." Lynette pulled away. "How dare you. Jason is out there serving his country, while you're back here, working in a shoe store and pulling this 'lover-boy' routine on his wife." "I just hate to see a primo female like you going to waste. Hell, he should've stayed here and given you those rugrats you want so much." "I love Jason, and I'm proud of what he's doing. There'll be plenty of time to start a family." "That's just it, Lynette. You don't have to wait, while I'm here. You can have some fun, and, if you get pregnant, well, we'll just keep it in the family." She slapped his face as hard as she could. "You bastard. If Jason hadn't agreed to let you stay here while he was away, I'd throw you out on your ass." Carter smiled and rubbed his cheek where she'd hit him. Feisty babe, wasn't she? "Yeah, but he did agree, and you need my help to make the rent on this place every month." "That's a laugh. What you give me barely pays for all the food you eat, let alone your share of the rent." She picked up a long carving knife from where it was drying in the rack next to the sink. "Just... just get the hell out of my sight before I forget I'm a lady." Jason put up his hands and walked backwards away from her. "Okay, okay. I'm going, but this isn't over yet." He smiled; it was a wicked smile. "We have all those long days... and _nights_ to talk about things before Jason gets home." Lynette turned back to the sink. She looked at her wedding ring, lying in the small tray in the window to keep it safe while she washed dishes. "Oh, Jason, why did you have to go, and why did you leave me with that... brother of yours?" She sighed and started working on the dirty dishes again. * * * * * Lynette sighed as she watched the PC screen go black. Work as a data entry clerk wasn't much, but it paid the bills. It also got her out of the house and away from Carter, who usually worked afternoon and evening shift at the shoe store. Now her shift was over, and it was time to go home. "What's the matter, hon?" Patty Koehler asked. "Tired?" Patty was in her late forties, but still perky, the "office mom" to the women who worked with her. "Not really. I'm just not ready for another evening of getting leers and lewd invitations from my idiot brother-in-law." "You want to come have a drink with me?" "A bar? That'd be even worse; I'd get the same stares, the same come-ons, and I wouldn't even know the guys." "How about we go to a place where the men won't stare?" "There is no such a place." "Sure, there is. You ever see them signs for that water park, Bikini Beach?" "Of course I have. Heck, there's one I pass on the way to work here every day. I just figured with a name like that, there'd be all sorts of wild stuff going on there." "There isn't. There can't be. The women that own it, they don't let men in. They say it's a place for women to go and not have to worry about guys." "Is it expensive?" "Its not too bad. I'll tell you what; I won two one-day passes playing bingo there last week. Why don't you come as my guest right now?" "I... I guess. I'll just have to stop by the house for my swim suit." "No, you won't. They rent suits. I've seen Anya -- she's the owner's granddaughter -- carrying swimsuits, or the tops of 'em anyway, lots of times." "Okay, then. We can stop for some dinner someplace, after, my treat." She laughed. "It'll be nice to have a meal with a friend for a change, and Carter, hell, he can eat his own cooking if he gets hungry." "We won't have stop anyplace, Lynette, honey. There's two places t'eat _in_ the Park." She winked. "I will let you pay, though." * * * * * "You're going to that damned 'Beach' of yours again, aren't you?" It was his day off from the store, and Carter was still dressed in his bathrobe and boxers even though it was almost noon. He was in bad need of a shave, as well. "So what if I am." Lynette said, glaring at him. "It's none of your business." "It is the way you're wasting the money Jason sends home. I gotta look after my little brother's best interests." "Since when did you give a damn about Jason except as your own free meal ticket? You're just mad because I'm not here to wait on you hand and foot." "I'm family. You owe me. Besides, how do I know you're not seeing somebody else, some other guy, at that Bikini Beach? A name like that, there's no telling what sort of a place it is." "It's a place that wouldn't let you... or any other man in, so wipe that filthy leer off your face. I just go to relax; I swim a little, maybe play some volleyball. That's about as exciting as it gets." He changed tactics. "That reminds me: just how much _are_ you paying for ... for whatever you do in there? A place like that, it's got to cost an arm and a leg." "It _is_ a little pricey, but they're giving me a discount because of Jason. Grandmother -- that's what everybody calls her -- grandmother says that she wants to show her support for the guys like Jason, so she gives a discount to the wives and family of servicemen." "It's still gotta add up. You've been going two or three times a week." "Feeling neglected, are we, Carter? Maybe if you weren't one of the world's biggest assholes, I'd be willing to stay home more often." "Why you..." he raised an arm to hit her. "You just try it. You touch me, and I'll tell Jason." "So, he's my brother. What's he gonna do?" "He's my _husband_, and we both know that, if you so much as touch me, he'll throw your ass out of here by long distance. Then, when he gets home, he'll hand it to you in a sling." She glared at him one last time, picked up her swim bag and headed out the door. Carter watched her go. He walked back to his room and dressed. He took a camera from his dresser and put in a fresh roll of film. "I know don't what sort of shit you've been doing in that place, Lynette, but I'm gonna find out. A few pictures t'send to Jason or..." He stopped as an idea came to him. "... or to _not_ send if you get more... cooperative." * * * * * Carter recognized Lynette's clunker as he pulled into the Bikini Beach parking lot. 'She really ought to get that old heap fixed up,' he thought. 'Maybe, if she's nice to me -- _real_ nice -- I'll tell her about that bank account Jason set up for her before he shipped out.' Carter chuckled to himself. 'If there's anything left in it by then.' He remembered that night, about a week before Jason had shipped out. * * * * * "Look at this, big brother," Jason said, waving a handful of dollar bills. "I won close to $6500 bucks in that crap game." An old friend of his was shipping out the next day, and the farewell party had turned into a game. "What're you going to do with it?" Carter asked, trying to figure an angle to get some of it. "You ship out pretty soon yourself." "I know. I'm giving all this to Lynette. That way she won't have to worry about any money problems while I'm away." "What could she need? I'll be there helping pay the rent." "I'm still not so sure about that. I've seen the way you look at her, and you _don't_ have the best reputation with how you treat women." "Hey, I'll admit that I look. You know how pretty she is. If she wasn't you're wife, I'd be making a play for her big time." He took a breath for emphasis. "But she _is_ your wife. So don't worry, bro. I'm just looking after _your_ best interests." "I'll admit I will feel better if she's got a man there to protect her. Even if it has to be you." He smiled and gently punched his brother in the arm to show that he did trust him. Even if he really wasn't sure that he did. "That's why I'm so glad I made this big score tonight. She'll have it in case there's any sort of a financial crunch while I'm gone - something too big for her to cover, even with you helping out. Carter smiled. He had his angle. "You do that, and she's gonna want to know where you got it. You gonna tell her it was a crap game?" "Hell, no! She hates gambling. Besides, you know I promised her not to before we got married." "And you've been a good, _widdle_ boy and kept that promise, haven't you." "Till tonight, I have. Damn it, Carter. I love Lynette a lot more than I love to gamble; she's worth a dozen promises like that." "Then don't tell her you won it. Tell her... tell you went into hock to get that wad, so she'd have money to take care of herself while you were away." "Oh, yeah, and then she'll think I don't think she can take care of herself." "What do you mean?" "She'll figure that I don't think she can manage without you there to hold her hand." He snorted. "Of course she can handle herself. She's a smart woman." Yeah, but she's still a woman, and you know how crazy they can be. She won't like it." "So what am I going to do? I don't want her to be upset with me; not when I ship out so soon." "Tell you what. You put that money in the bank in an account that Lynette or I can sign for. I'll get the bank statements, so she won't know it's there, and, if there's any sort of emergency, the money'll be right there collecting interest and just for her to use. If she doesn't use it, it'll make a nice nest egg for something. Maybe even that kid you two want." "Perfect idea. I'll set it up with the bank tomorrow morning. Lynette won't be back from visiting her mother over in Everett till almost suppertime." * * * * * "So far," Carter thought, "the only emergency's been that I needed a new sound system and paint job for you, baby." He patted the side of the car. "'Course, you never know what else I might need the money for." He parked the car and walked over to the gate. An attractive, full-figured young woman in a pink "Bikini Beach" t-shirt was behind the counter. "Hi, I'm Norma, can I help you with something?" "Yeah, Norma, how much is a ticket?" "We don't sell tickets. This is a members-only park. We _do_ sell passes, though, everything from one-day pass to a lifetime membership." She told him the price of a one-day pass. It was a bit much, but he didn't want to look like a cheapskate. This Norma was a little on the heavy side, but there were a lot of ripe curves under that shirt. She handed him the purple one-day pass. "The Men's Lockers are down there. You have to shower before you leave the locker room; it's a health department rule." "No problem," Carter said. The Men's Locker Room was only a few feet away, with a sign identifying it hanging above the door. 'No men, huhn,' he thought as he walked in, chuckling aloud. 'And Lynette said _nothing_ was going on here.' The locker room was small but well laid out, with lockers and benches along all four walls. There was also a set of shower stalls along one wall. The exit door was opposite the showers, with a mirror that taking up the remaining space on that wall. He changed quickly and headed for the showers. He did stop for a moment to check himself out in the mirror. He was fairly muscular, though there was a hint of a beer belly. The stubble in his face gave him that rugged look that he knew women liked -- even Lynette, if she'd just loosen up and admit it. He thought of Lynette as he stepped into the shower. It was a pleasant image that distracted him from noticing the pink mist that rose off the water. As he stepped out of the shower, Carter noticed that he felt kind of odd. His muscles -- well, ached wasn't exactly the right word, but they did feel _funny_. He felt something wet against the back of his neck, something that seemed to be pulling at his hair. Then he saw himself in the mirror. Only it wasn't him. He was shorter, judging by how much more space there was now between the top of his reflection's head and the mirror frame. He was thinner, too. His body hair was gone, and he... he seemed to be getting a woman's figure. Yeah, his waist was a lot more narrow, and there was a lot more curve to his hips and legs. As he watched, his chest got puffy. Then the puffiness grew out to become... breasts! He was growing breasts! Not little ones either, but melons like his cousins, Sue and Pauline, had. Damn, his face even looked more like theirs, and his hair was now a lustrous dark blonde with streaked highlights. The implications of what was happening hit him. His hand shot down to his groin. In the mirror, he saw that his baggy, dark blue surfer trunks had become an electric blue bikini panty. It was high cut, with just a narrow band connecting the front and back. It made his feminine legs look even longer and the front was only a few inches wide. It fit perfectly; there was no male bulge. "What in the hell..." His voice was a warm, almost sensual soprano. "Excuse me," a voice said, "but you'll need this." "What?" Carter turned to see a short, older woman standing a few feet away. In her hand, she had a string bikini top that looked like it matched the panty he was wearing. "I don't allow my guests to go topless," the woman said, handing Carter the top. "Even if there are no men around to see." "Uh... thanks." Carter felt dizzy, disoriented. He took the top and put it on as if he'd been wearing such things for years. "Are you a new member?" The woman asked. "I don't remember seeing you before." Carter blinked. He felt a mental lurch and the dizziness stopped. "Oh, no. I'm just here on a one-day pass. My name's Katherine Dorsey, but everyone calls me Katie. My sister-in- law's been coming here for a while, and I decided to check it out for myself." * * * * * "Hey, Lynette, there you are." Lynette was lying in a hammock near the volleyball courts. She turned to see a tall, very curvy blonde who was almost wearing a blue string bikini. For a moment, she didn't recognize the woman, then there was a rush of new memories. "Katie? Wha... what are you doing here?" Lynette had heard stories from some of the other women that there was some magic about this place. She hadn't believed it until now. It was true, though, it had to be. She still had the memory of Carter, her sleazy brother-in-law, but now there was the memory of Katie, Jason's overly friendly sister. "The way you kept talking about this place, like it was some kind of wonderland, got me curious. I decided to find out, so I brought a pass, and here I am." Another memory came to Lynette. "You won't like it." "Why not? It looks really nice." "There's no men. You'll waste that bikini on a bunch of women. They might be impressed, but not in the way you want." Katie frowned. "I'm not always hunting men. Well, not _always_." She giggled. "I thought I could check the place out this afternoon, then go to a club tonight and get lucky." She paused a beat. "You want to come... to the club, I mean?" "No, thanks," Lynette shook her head. "I'm just a boring, married homebody. When I go to a place like that, I want Jason to be there with me." "Seems like a long time to wait, but I guess I can't get mad at you for being loyal to my brother." She shrugged. "Your loss... and more guys for me." "Yeah, but that's not till tonight." She climbed out of her hammock. "This is your first time here. What would you like to do?" * * * * * "Last chance, Lynette," Katie said. It was after 6 PM, and they were standing next to her car in the Bikini Beach parking lot. She was wearing a tube top and miniskirt now, her make-up perfect, if a little slutty. "Thanks, Katie, but I'm going home. You go to that club -- what's it called? Carnival -- if you want." "Girl, how did you get to be so old? C'mon, at the worst, you'll hear some good music and maybe have a couple of drinks. At best, you'll get lucky, too. I know Jason' my brother, but he's been gone for four months, and he won't be back for two more. That's a long time for a girl to go without." "Not if she loves the guy like I love Jason." She smiled, remembering her absent husband. "He's worth waiting for." "You know, I almost envy him. You're a better woman than I am, Lynette, and the next time you write that brother of mine, you tell him I said so. You just head home now, like you said. In the meantime, there's some hunk at Carnival who doesn't know just how lucky he's going to get tonight." Katie climbed into her car, which was now a dark blue Civic. "Have fun at home, grandma," she yelled, as she drove away. * * * * * "Oh, man, what a night." Carter came out of his bedroom scratching an uncombed mop of hair. It was almost 10, but the shoe store he worked at didn't open until 1 PM on Sundays. "What do you mean?" Lynette looked up from the paper. Her last memory about him had been as Katie. Lynette was a light sleeper, and she hadn't heard anyone come in. 'The magic,' she thought. 'When it was over, Carter wound up back in his own bed.' Aloud she asked. "Have a good time last night?" "Yeah," he said. He reached inside his bathrobe to scratch his stomach. "I went to that club, Carnival, over on McClay. Man, I met this chick there; she was really -- I mean _really_ hot. We went back to her place, and went at it for hours. It was..." he stopped and leered at her. "I'm not embarrassing you or anything, am I?" Lynette fought the urge to laugh. Most likely, _Katie_ had been the one having the sex. Carter just remembered it differently after he changed back. "You know, I don't remember coming home." He grinned. "Man, talk about fucking your brains out. I don't remember a lot of the details." "That's all right, Carter. I'm sure you enjoyed yourself." This time she did giggle. When she saw the puzzled look on his face, she couldn't help it. * * * * * Carter arranged another set of shoeboxes on the storage shelving. "Mick, can I borrow that mini-camera you showed me a while back?" Mick Rankin picked another box of shoes from the crate he was unloading. Mick was a tall balding man in his early 50s. "I guess," he said. What do you need it for? I've got a couple of better camera I could loan you." "I-I need a small one. It's for... well, let's just say it's sort of for undercover work." "You better not be doing anything illegal. That camera's one of the prizes of my collection, and I don't want in getting lost in some police property room." "It's nothing like that. I-I hate to say it, but I think my sister-in-law is cheating on my brother." "Couldn't be. I mean, they seemed so lovey-dovey that time I met them." "Yeah, they were, but he's in the Navy, you know. He's out doing a six-month tour over in the Persian Gulf. Some wives, well, they get lonely." "Damned shame. They've been married for -- what'd you tell me - four years?" "Five. Their anniversary was a couple of months ago. He was over there, and she was really pissed about it." Carter paused. Damn! He was so good he almost believed this bullshit story himself. "I think that's when she started fooling around." "You tell your brother yet?" "Yeah, but he doesn't believe me. Lynette's got him wrapped around her little finger. That's why I want the camera. He'll believe pictures." "I guess he'd have to." Mick sighed. "I hate to be a part of breaking up a marriage, but it sounds to me like she already broke it up." "You got that right. So... you going to loan me that camera." "I guess. I'll bring it in tomorrow. How you going to get the pictures?" "I think she'd been meeting whoever it is over at that water park, Bikini Beach. You know the place?" "I heard of it." He patted his stomach. "I got a little too much tummy to go hang out anyplace in a bathing suit -- and I mean _hang out_." "Anyway, I went there with her a few days ago, just to check the place out." Carter stopped. He knew that he'd been to Bikini Beach. In fact, he was pretty sure that he'd spent the afternoon there with Lynette; he just couldn't remember any of the damned details. "I'm going to follow her the next time she goes over there. I figure I'll sneak around some and watch for the guy she hooks up with. That's about the only place she ever seems to go, so she's got to be meeting him there." "I'll bring in a zoom lens, too, then. I can show you how to use it with the camera's viewer like a binocular. That should help you some." "I'm sure it will. Thanks." "You're welcome, I guess, but I hope you're wrong." * * * * * This time, a slender brunette was working at the entrance to Bikini Beach when Carter arrived. "Hi, I'm Anya. Can I help you?" 'You sure can,' Carter thought. He put on his best smile and said, "I'm Carter, Anya, and I'd like to buy a pass, please." On impulse, he added, "How much are the longer ones?" She told him the prices of a weekly, monthly, and year-long pass. None of them were cheap. 'What the hell,' he thought, 'it's Jason's money paying for it. "The girl that was here the other day mentioned a lifetime pass. How much for one of them?" It was high, but there was more than enough in Jason's emergency account to cover it. Anya had an odd sort of smile when he handed her the check. "Will I see you later?" he asked, testing the waters. "Count on it," she said. As he walked past, she chuckled. "Don't forget to shower before you go out." Anya watched him for a moment as he walked towards the Men's Lockers. She took his check and put it in a special drawer in the register. It faded away, to be replaced almost at once by a piece of silvered paper. It cost a bit more to use Gringotts than most banks, but Grandmother always said that it was worth the price. However reality changed, the value of Carter's check was already credited to the Park's commercial account. Anya closed her eyes and concentrated on the men's showers. She quickly made the adjustment she wanted. Belinda was working nearby. Anya told her to watch the gate. "Now to find Lynette," she said and hurried off. * * * * * "I don't really understand what's going on," Lynnette said as Anya led her into the Men's Lockers. "Should we even be in here?" "This is my park," Grandmother said. "I... _we_ can go anywhere I want. Besides, there's somebody in here that you want to talk to." "Who...?" "Hi, Lynette." It was Katie, but her voice was higher, almost like a little girl's. She was in one of the showers, wearing nothing but thong bikini panty that barely covered her crotch. "Katie? What happened to you?" The Katie that Lynette had met a few days before was pretty. This Katie was a walking sex toy from the honey blonde hair that hung down to her ass to her tiny little red-painted toenails. In between was a mass of feminine curves topped off by a pair of 42-DD breasts. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I'm just me, same as ever." She giggled. "Oooh! The water feels so good on my boobies." "You really should get out of there," Anya said. "Why," Katie said, pouting. "I like it in here." "Because of you don't, you'll get all pruney," Anya said. "Guys don't like girls that have pruney breasts, even if they're as big as yours." "They don't." Katie looked sad and quickly walked out of the shower. Lynette handed her a towel, and turned off the water. Katie began to gently pat herself dry. "Katie," Anya said softly, "do you remember Carter?" "Uh huhn," Katie said, nodding and smiling proudly. "It's kinda like he's here inside my head." She giggled. "He doesn't like it." "Does it bother you?" Anya asked. "What happened to him, I mean." "Why should it? I'm not him. That would be silly." "Yes, it would," Lynette said, still amazed at what was happening. "Katie," Anya asked, "why did Carter come to the Park?" "She won't tell," Lynette said. "She'd be betraying herself." "She doesn't think of herself as Carter," Anya said. "Katie, do you know why Carter came here today?" "Sure, he wanted to take pictures of Lynette with that." She pointed at a nearby bench. A small camera was half-covered by a towel. "He was gonna send them to Jason if Lynette wouldn't... wouldn't..." She giggled and covered her face. "If Lynette wouldn't sleep with him." She frowned. "That wasn't nice, was it?" "That bastard!" Lynette screamed "That lousy, stinking, bastard. I should have known he'd want to pull something like that." "There's more," Anya said. "Katie, where did Carter get the money to buy his pass today?" "Jason left money, a whole big bunch of money, in case Lynette needed it for a margie... a emer-jay... for something. Carter, he knew how to get to it, and he used some to buy his pass." "He... used... my... money." Lynette's eyes were narrow slits. "When he changes back, he's going to --" "He's not changing back," Grandmother said. "He bought a lifetime pass. He'll... she'll be Katie for the rest of her life." Lynette looked at Katie. Her new sister-in-law had found the mirror. She was posing, each pose more sexual than the last, and giggling at the way she looked. "Not that Katie," Lynette said. "She's brainless; she'd never survive." "There are places... people who would welcome her the way she is now, and she'd enjoy doing the sort of things they'd want her to do." Lynette shook her head. "No, I... I can't let that happen. Carter was a sleaze. He'd deserve it, but she doesn't." "Well, there _is_ a way." Grandmother looked carefully at Lynette. It felt like she was looking into Lynette's soul. "You could take care of her ... you and your husband when he gets home." Lynette sighed. "I guess we'll have to. It's going to be tough taking care of a sexy package like that." "Let me make it a little easier." She turned to Katie, who was now rubbing her "boobies." Katie was clearly turning arousing herself, watching her erotic image in the mirror. "Katie," Granmother said. "That'll be a lot more fun if you do it in the shower." Katie stopped. "It will? Goodie." She walked quickly back into the shower. Lynette walked over and turned the water back on." The water shot out in a wide stream, a pink mist slowly rising from it. "Grandmother," Anya said. "Exactly what sort of change are you planning?" Grandmother smiled. "Trust me, dear. I know what I'm doing." She said it as if she were talking to a small child. Katie began to shrink. Her hair shortened, even as he figure began to grow less curvy. "Hey, my boobies," she yelled when she noticed that her breasts were getting smaller and smaller. "She's getting younger," Lynette said. It was true. Katie looked to be no more than 14. Her breasts were almost gone; her lush figure was almost boyish. The magic of the change held her in place. Grandmother was smiling, enjoying seeing her magic in action. Anya wasn't. Her lips were thin, showing her tension, and she frowning and was shaking her head, as she watched. Now Katie was 13... 12... 11. Her figure was gone. Even her adult body hair was getting sparse. There was only a single, small, blonde curl at her groin, until it, too, disappeared. Her body had passed back through puberty, becoming the lanky body of a nine-year old. She kept getting younger, 8... 7... 6... Now, Katie grew chubby as baby fat began to fill out her body. Grandmother reached in and turned off the shower. "It's stopped, now." "How... how old is she?" Lynette asked. "Five. I made her body match her mental age." "She's not going to grow up to be that... bimbo, is she?" "Heavens, no. Her mind will grow just as her body will, and she'll grow into the less... dramatic body that she had on her first visit." Katie was moving now, she stepped out of the shower, and Lynette hurried over to wrap a towel around her. The camera that had been under it was gone. Carter had never existed to borrow it. It was in Mick's storage cabinet where it had always been. "Does she remember who she was?" Lynette asked. "Ask her yourself," Grandmother said. "Katie, do you remember being Carter?" "Uncle Carter," Katie said in a small child's voice. "I was him, but he's... he's almost gone now, Mommy." "Mommy?" Lynette looked at Anya, not believing what she had heard. Grandmother smiled. "Who else would you be? Reality's changed. Your Jason is an only child, and Katie here is your daughter. Jason used some of that money Katie told you about to buy you both memberships here at Bikini Beach, something for you to enjoy while he was away." "I'm hungry, Mommy," Katie said. Her adult thong was now a child's ruffled panty. The top was on the bench where the towel had been. "Can we go to the Tiki Hut for supper?" "All right, honey," Lynette said. "You go start getting dressed while I talk to Aunt Anya and Grandmother for a minute." "Okay," Katie said. She picked up the top of her suit and skipped over to the locker Carter had used. "I guess you think everything's okay, then?" Anya asked. "It sure it," Lynette said. Then she chuckled. "You know, in a way, Carter did get what he wanted." "How's that?" Grandmother asked. "Well, we may not have had sex, but he did give me the child that Jason and I have been wanting." As she spoke, the memories of her pregnancy and Katie's birth and infancy flowed into her mind. "I'm dressed now," Katie said. "I even tied my shoes." She was wearing a pink, flowered shirt and a pair of matching shorts. "Can we have supper now. "You sure can," Lynette said. She bundled up Katie's wet suit in a towel. Then she took her new daughter's hand, and they walked out of the locker room. "Well, that settles that," Grandmother said in a self-satisfied tone. "Does it, Grandmother," Anya asked. "It really wasn't fair." "Wasn't it, Anya? You knew what he was doing. Carter was as slimy a man as I've ever met. Now he'll grow up to be a much better woman." "You could have done something that would have left him a much better _man_, and we both know it. Besides, you didn't really ask Lynette, let alone her husband, if they wanted a child that way." "She wants a child, dear, so does her husband. I gave them one." She paused a beat. "I must say that I'm a bit surprised. You've never questioned me about such matters before." "I'm a grown woman, grandmother, almost 23. You've always said I should think for myself. This seemed like as good time as any to start." "'Perhaps, but I had to use my best judgement, and I've had a lot of experience. If you think about it, it won't seem so bad." "Yes it will," Anya said grimly. Without another word, she turned and stormed out of the locker room. Grandmother watched, the surprised look on her face turning to anger. And fear. * * * * * This is, among other things, sort of a prequel to "Child Star." Katie is one of the little girls Teri tells a story to at the Park. She's the one who sort of remembers having a job and whose Daddy is in the Navy.

Bikini Beach Guideline and Concordance

Bikini Beach -- Story Guide As one of the reviewers of stories for Elrod, I've been asked about guidelines and such. Elrod had a bunch of material on his web site, but he took that all down. I had printed some of that out. I also reread all of his stories. I'm treating the material I printed, his stories, plus those stories of mine that he had reviewed for me, as "canon." Here it all is. If you have a story you'd like me to review, in keeping with the wishes of Elrod some...

******************************************************* This one came like all the others - in that strange world between dream and fantasy. What would happen if two macho guys went to a private beach where the price of admission was a change? I've got at least four story ideas in this same setting to follow - someday. In the meantime, if anyone else finds this stirs a story idea, I'll post the rules to the list. ******************************************************* Bikini...

Bikini Beach A Boys Visit

Bikini Beach: A Boy's Visit By Daphne Xu Bikini Beach and its principal characters are copyright 1998 by Elrod W. ********************** The lines at all the checkout stands were long. That was to be expected on SuperSale Day, Black Friday, the Day after Thanksgiving, and I kept fidgeting impatiently. Bikini Beach: Addiction By Elrod W Calvin Lawson should have been overcome by lust as he and Fred walked toward the gate of Bikini Beach. Bikini Beach: Swim Date By Ellie Dauber (c) 2000 "Hey, look," Mack Reilly said, "here comes that stuck-up Amy Bowlan." He pointed at a pretty blonde, about 17, who had just come into the school cafeteria. Paul Kauffman put down his Coke, and looked in the direction his friend was pointing. "Aw, I don't think she's stuck-up, man." "Then why won't she go out with anybody? She's either stuck-up or - hell, maybe she's a lesbie. You think?" "Nah. She's new here, just moved in the...

Bikini Beach Twilight Zone Edition Chapter one

Bikini Beach - Twilight Zone Edition Chapter 1 There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling Somewhere out in...

I wrote this story a long time ago and held off trying to post it. If I can find where I put my old notebooks I think I have at least one more chapter of it hand-written somewhere. Bikini Beach A New Experience

Bikini Beach: A New Experience By Roy Del Frink It was another boring old day at the water park. Anya sighed. Nothing unusual, or even notable, about today's customers. Alex jumped, pulling his long legs off the top of the coffee table. "I'm just watching SportsBeat, Mom. They're doing a feature on East Side's baseball team. Mr. Graham said we should watch it for English class." Alex's high school team was the likely city champion for the third year in a row, and the whole school...
