Bikini Beach: The Junior Prank By Heather St. Claire Because the magic of the Bikini Beach water park is designed to affect men, some people might mistakenly assume that men are the only ones who can be taught lessons there. That's far from the truth. Let's look back at a story from Bikini Beach's past, when Anya was younger, and not long after Grandmother first allowed her solo duty in the ticket booth. It was early March, and a beautiful weekday. The clouds had parted early, and it was unusually warm for what was still technically late winter. Yes, spring was in the air, but that wasn't yet reflected in the park's level of business. Things were quiet the entire day, just handfuls of women here and there arriving to enjoy their first outdoor recreation of the season. Not a single man came within a mile of the ticket booth. Secretly, Anya was disappointed, as she was burning with a desire to prove herself to her Grandmother. Her heart leaped when, during a mid-afternoon lull, she received an intriguing phone call. On the other end of the line was Paige Bradshaw, a native of the same community as Bikini Beach, but now a college student in a neighboring state. Before going off to school, and in visits home since, she had heard rumors of Bikini Beach and its magic. She told Anya she hoped the stories were true, and, if so, thought they might be able to deal with a terrible young man at her school who was making life miserable for dozens of women... When the conversation was complete, Anya hung up the phone with a satisfied smile on her face. She couldn't wait for Grandmother to see how she handled this one! In a bedroom of a sorority house at the edge of the campus of Stanhope College, Paige Bradshaw hung up her phone, smiled and laughed. She looked around at the half dozen friends who had joined her in the room to listen in on her end of the conversation. "Well?" they all seemed to ask in unison. "She bought it! She bought every word of it! 'Operation Geek' is going to be a success!" The other girls joined her in a chorus of self-satisfied laughter. An elaborate prank that had been in the planning for months was heading toward its payoff. The Thetas were steeped in tradition. That was one of the reasons Paige loved them so and was looking forward so happily to spending her senior year as chapter president. Paige was a tall, almost statuesque brunette with a more than passing resemblance to model Stephanie Seymour. Her stunning beauty was matched only by her high intelligence. This formidable combination allowed her to leave a wide mark on the small school's campus. She maintained an "A minus" average while pursuing pre-law studies; was captain of the cheerleaders; a leader of the Thetas; had been selected Homecoming Queen as a junior; and was dating Sam Case, one of the handsomest boys on campus. Paige had her whole life carefully laid out, including going to law school, marrying Sam, having two beautiful children while still maintaining her legal career... it was a grand set of dreams, but she saw nothing standing in her way. As serious as she was about her future, Paige also loved the joys of college life. That was one of the big reasons she embraced her sorority so closely. One of the great Theta traditions was the Junior Prank. Each spring, the junior girls were expected to pull off an elaborate and creative prank that would leave the campus buzzing and help set the tone for a lively, fun, senior year. The only problem with the prank was that no one had come up with anything truly creative for years. How many times could you get a group of boys to disassemble a car and put it back together on the roof of the administration building? No, Paige was committed to doing something truly memorable with her classmates. When she learned about Bikini Beach, she thought she had the answer. What could have a bigger impact that changing one of the geekiest guys on campus into a beautiful woman? The idea came to her in a flash, and even she couldn't describe quite why she found it so hilarious; but everyone she told about it felt the same way. Paige had spent her first two years at Stanhope carefully avoiding Lyle and his type; namely, the young men and women who were socially awkward, didn't dress stylishly, were too bookish. So she would have to spend months carefully cultivating him. It went against so many of her instincts. Lyle was tall, and skinny as a beanpole. His long, sallow face was covered with acne scars. His pants were baggy, except at the ankles, where they were too short. His rumpled shirts always had a plastic protector in the breast pocket--the classic sign of the geek. When she was enrolling in her second-semester courses for her junior year, Paige surprised her counselor by signing up for physics. Her explanation was that she wanted to stretch herself, intellectually. Her counselor bought that, but Paige's true reason was the fact that Lyle was a teaching assistant in the class and made extra money by offering his services to other students as a private tutor. Even before the winter break, Paige began paying subtle attention to Lyle. From across the library, cafeteria, and other suitable distances, she would make sure to catch his eye and smile broadly. The prey was locked in his huntress' sights almost immediately. He couldn't figure out why a girl like Paige would be giving him a first glance, much less a second, and rationally, he told himself it made no sense. But he somehow convinced himself that stranger things had happened, and thereby left himself wide open for her deceitful scheme. Once classes were back in session after the winter break, Paige wasted no time in carrying "Operation Geek" to its next level. It was after the very first session of physics that she walked up to Lyle, introduced himself, and told him she was going to need LOTS of help in order to pass the course. She immediately signed up to spend an hour with him three evenings a week. Soon, she learned that this had been a wise choice; she found the course to be unusually challenging. But these sessions served their dual purpose. Paige got to know Lyle, and something about his hopes, dreams and fears, and planned to put all this information to use as her plot proceeded. When she made it through the first exam with an 85, Paige was relieved. As she had carefully planned, she caught Lyle at his favorite study carrel at a remote corner of the library, handed him the paper, and cooed, "My hero!" Before he knew what was going on, Lyle was locked in a tight embrace by Paige. As she walked away, Paige noticed beads of sweat on Lyle's brow and wet spots under his arms. He looked more like he had been a kidnap victim than someone who had just been kissed by one of the most beautiful women on the Stanhope Campus. Paige smiled a self-satisfied grin. If just a hug could do this to him, she thought, wait until next time... ...which arrived after the next exam two weeks later. Paige got a 91 this time. She couldn't believe it. Soon, she had her arms wrapped around Lyle again, and, as distasteful as she found it, she actually planted a quick kiss on his lips. Before he could recover from the shock, Paige fired her next salvo. "Lyle, sweetie, I want to find a proper way to thank you. How about if I take you to dinner at a really nice restaurant?" After he managed to recover from the worst of his shock, Lyle stammered his agreement. When the evening for the date came, Paige was pleasantly surprised. Lyle actually owned a suit. Although it was old and getting shiny in places, its arms and legs were long enough for it to be considered a decent fit. Perhaps, Paige thought with a shudder, it was... secondhand! He also seemed to have overcome the worst of his shyness, and although he still seemed awkward, he managed to be gentlemanly, even witty at times. By the time the waiter was clearing the table, Paige realized, much to her astonishment, that she had actually enjoyed spending the evening with Lyle. She even may have felt a momentary pang of guilt for what she was planning. But it was momentary indeed. As Lyle walked Paige back to the Thetas' house, she gazed up at him with the sweetest expression on her face and told him that during spring break, she and several of the other girls were going to the next state, to spend the time at a great water park called Bikini Beach. Was there any chance that Lyle would like to come along? Poor Lyle couldn't believe his good fortune. He wondered if the world was spinning out of orbit. It was one thing for a gorgeous girl like Paige to be paying attention to him, but for a whole sorority full to be doing so? It made no sense! But sadly, his hopeful heart won out over his suspicions, and he didn't pursue the questions in his mind. Paige's phone call to Anya came the day after Lyle accepted the invitation. In addition to all the rest of her activities, Paige had become one of the stars of the small campus' theatre department. She put all her acting skill to the test during that call. She was alternately angry, fearful and indignant. She began by sounding fairly calm as she described a student who was making life miserable for dozens of women on their campus. "He leers at them, he makes obscene phone calls to them, he stalks them... he's horrible!" Paige declared with a growing fear in her voice. "You'd never believe it to look at him, he's a real king of nerds. But he's dangerous! But the campus authorities and local police won't do anything about him! Please, can you help us?" By the time she had finished her spiel, Anya was so thoroughly taken in, she was on the verge of tears. Fortunately, an older, wiser hand was listening in to the conversation on another phone. Everyone was finished with their mid-terms at Stanhope by noon on the Friday that spring break weekend began. There was a three-car caravan, four girls in the third car, three in the second, and Paige and Lyle alone in the lead convertible. By this time, Paige had let her boyfriend Sam in on the prank. She felt she had to, with the campus being as small as it was and news traveling as quickly as it did. But anyone else seeing this strange procession leaving campus would have concluded that the Theta girls had lost their minds. When they reached their destination late that afternoon, by pre-arranged plan, the other two cars full of girls went to register for their motel rooms, while Paige and Lyle headed directly for Bikini Beach. She had told Lyle that he had worked so hard for her, and in his own coursework, that she thought the others could handle the chores of unpacking and settling in; she wanted him to start relaxing and having fun right away. Paige and Lyle were both filled with anticipation as they stood in the queue waiting to enter the park, but of course, for decidedly different reasons. When they reached the ticket booth, Paige was relieved to find Anya there again, instead of the grandmother. She had heard rumors about this formidable woman, and thought it would probably be a lot easier to fool this innocent-looking young girl. "I'm Paige Bradshaw," she said when stepping up to the window. "We talked earlier this month, remember? I arranged for eight week-long passes for girls from our sorority, and a special pass for our friend, Lyle, here." She worried that her grin might be a bit too exaggerated, but Anya didn't catch on. "Here you go," she said with a smile. Then she made sure to let them both know about the health regulation that required them to shower before entering the park. Paige headed to the much larger women's shower facility, wishing she could witness what was happening inside the men's area. Lyle would have normally wondered why there were no other men in sight, and why the men's shower was disproportionately small. But he was blinded by bliss. As he stepped below the showerhead, Lyle thought this had to be the greatest day of his life. He had always been a success in class, but in the larger game of life, he painfully felt his status as an outsider. When he turned on the spray, Lyle closed his eyes, to take a moment to daydream about where things might be going with Paige. For that reason, he failed to notice the pink mist that was enveloping him. Most men changing into women have to lose body bulk, but Lyle actually had to gain some, he was so skinny. He shrank just a couple of inches in height, and his waist narrowed slightly, but that still wasn't enough to provide the padding that was now emerging on his hips, butt and chest. Don't ask how the magic works, but work it did, for soon Lyle had a nice, teardrop shaped bottom and a beautiful round pair of C-cup breasts hanging from his chest. As the pink mist continued to shroud him, his slim arms and legs were subtly reshaped; they seemed to have acquired feminine grace instead of just looking like bony sticks. Lyle didn't see his oversized swim trunks shrink to a silver-colored bikini bottom, and in his reverie, had no idea that his manhood was withdrawing into him, making way for his new, female crotch. The most profound change might have been taking place on his head. His face soon took on the same downy softness and healthy glow that the rest of his skin had acquired. Not a blemish was left; his new skin was beautiful, perfect. His eyebrows, which were bushy and almost grown together, rapidly thinned into two graceful arches. His eyes became rounded and larger, while his nose shrank and acquired a cute upturn. His thin lips expanded rapidly, becoming full and pouty. At the same time all this was happening, his hair began growing out rapidly. Instead of his semi-crew cut, he soon had luxurious chestnut brown locks flowing down his back. Lyle toweled off, and stepped out into the sunlight, where Paige was already waiting for him--her. Paige was pleased when she saw how good looking the new woman was. She would really have a hard time coping with male advances... especially since she made sure that his IQ would be significantly lowered with the change, and his libido increased proportionately. To add to "Lyle's" discomfort, Paige had requested that he receive none of the instinctual memory that usually came with a Bikini Beach transformation. If he had been graceless as a man, imagine what a time she would have as a woman! But the smile began to fade from Paige's face when she noticed how gracefully Lyle seemed to be walking. This wasn't right! She should be stumbling all over from being suddenly top heavy! And she didn't seem upset at all; her expression conveyed bewilderment more than anything. And that was the way Lyle's mind was dealing with the change--he was in a mild form of shock. She demurely covered her new breasts with her hands, having become aware that she was topless. Paige wondered where the hell Anya was to chew her out and force the rest of the bikini on her? Suddenly, Paige spotted Anya heading toward Lyle, top in hand and a stern look on her face. But then, from the opposite direction, came the grandmother, also holding a top. Paige couldn't hear what was being said, but it was clear that the grandmother was sending Anya away to deal with this one herself. And for some strange reason, she seemed to be talking to the new girl rather tenderly. After several minutes of this, Paige was really becoming puzzled and worried. Finally, the former Lyle came walking over to her, a hurt look on her face. "Hello, Paige. You can call me... Lyla now. So, you arranged for this to happen to me? It's your idea of some kind of joke?" This wasn't the way it was supposed to happen at all! Paige was actually left dumbfounded by the unexpected turn of events. Now it was her turn to be speechless. "I... I don't know what you're talking about, Lyla," she said. Paige felt a presence behind her, and turned around with a start. "Oh, don't you, young lady?" Grandmother asked sternly. "You may have been able to pull a fast one on my granddaughter, but believe me, you can't put one over on me." "So, what now?" Paige asked nervously. For the first time, the old woman smiled. Paige could see the intent behind the smile; it did nothing to relieve her anxiety. "What now? Why, you and your girlfriends enjoy your week here, that's all. All of your girlfriends, old and new." With that, the old woman turned and walked away. Lyla was looking at Paige with what seemed to be an expression of pity in her face, which made Paige angry. "Sorry if your big joke got messed up, Paige," she said sweetly. "As you might have figured out by now, I didn't get some of the 'special' modifications you asked for, like the enhanced klutziness and libido, and lowered IQ" Paige was beginning to wonder just how badly her joke might backfire. "So... how do you feel, Lyla?" she asked tentatively. "Well, to be honest, I'm still kind of in shock. I never expected to take a shower and have my sex changed. I don't think any sort of rational person does. But from what that sweet old lady tells me, I'm going to be stuck like this for a week, so I figure I might as well enjoy it." Paige smiled, hesitantly. "Good," she said, feeling a sense of relief. "As next year's president, I think I can declare you an honorary Theta for a week." Paige couldn't believe how well Lyla seemed to be taking it all. Maybe the payback wouldn't be so bad. She reached out to the new girl to embrace her in a sisterly hug, which Lyla returned. Although Paige breathed a sigh of relief, she also decided she better watch her back. She didn't have any idea what the old woman might have in mind for punishment, but she wasn't too fearful, since she had heard that the park's magic only worked on males. Paige felt a nudge on her shoulder. It was Lyla, trying to get her attention. "Hey, Paige? Since we're here, are we going to have some fun and explore the park a bit? Or are you just going to stand there staring off into space?" "I'm going to have fun, of course," Paige said with a sudden burst of enthusiasm. "Last one to the water slide is a rotten egg." With that, she took off toward the slide, Lyla in quick pursuit. A couple of hours later, the two girls were wet, happy and tired. "We better get back to the motel," Lyla said. "They'll be wondering what happened to us. Or are they all in on the joke?" "They are," Paige said, hanging her head slightly. "Well, look at the bright side, Paige," Lyla said brightly. "We won't have much explaining to do then. Let me get showered and dressed, and I'll meet you at the car, okay?" Paige nodded in agreement. Back in the locker room, Paige found things changed in just the way the old lady had promised. Instead of Lyle's nerdy guy clothes and wallet, there was a quite cute outfit consisting of white short-shorts and a blue and yellow tank top, and a big casual purse. She put on the skimpy garments, which perfectly accentuated her new curves. Lyla then went to the sink, reached into her purse and pulled out a lipstick, mascara and eye shadow, and soon was applying them with the deft hand of an old pro. She ran a brush through her full hair, gave herself a quick once-over, and pronounced herself ready to face the rest of the Thetas. "You... you look great, Lyla," Paige said as she spotted her walking toward the car. Lyla just smiled and thought to herself, She's jealous! She couldn't help but be amused by the situation--having one of the best looking girls in school jealous of her looks! On the ride to the motel, Paige was fairly quiet; while Lyla just bubbled about what a good time she had had in the park. "Now, I would have just fainted if I woke up this morning and you told me I'd be a beautiful girl before the day was out, but you know, it's a lot of fun so far! I even find myself wondering what it would be like to get a guy interested in me? You know what I mean Paige?" Paige was beginning to think there was another reason the woman had gone along with Lyle's change, despite her own malicious intent... he clearly seemed to be blossoming in his new body. The analogy of the ugly ducking turned into the swan came to mind, of course. Back at the motel, the other girls immediately surrounded Lyla. They made a curious and wide-eyed pack. They were oohing and aahing about how gorgeous she was, and what a good sport she was to not be angry, and how this was a great chance for her to find out how much fun being a girl was. Paige mostly watched and listened from the sidelines. The Bikini Beach magic can work in many forms. In this particular situation, Lyle and the Thetas remembered his past, but no one else in the outside world did. Lyla had told the old lady that he had promised to check in with his parents during the week, and she told her not to worry, that as far as they were concerned, they always had a daughter named Lyla. One of the girls said they knew the magic had worked when Lyle's suitcases had changed. When the new girl opened up her transformed luggage, the others couldn't help but offer a few more oohs and ahs. These were well-to-do, stylish girls, but everything that Lyla had packed, whether casual or formal, appeared to be brand new, the very latest thing, and very expensive. Finally, when Paige and Lyla had their things put away, one of the girls suggested they find a place where they could get something to eat, do a little dancing, and maybe pick up a few cute guys. "All sounds great to me!" Lyla said without a trace of self-consciousness. A couple of the girls exchanged raised eyebrows and surprised looks; but they mainly took Lyla's new personality in stride. Even though the eight girls had reserved four rooms, the bathrooms were plenty crowded as the young women worked mightily to make themselves look their best. "I don't want to be outdone by an ex-boy!" one of them muttered under her breath. But when everyone was giving each other final checks, it was clear that Lyla was the standout in a quite attractive group. She wore a short, dark blue spandex dress that seemed to be painted onto her, sheer black hose, and four-inch heels. Her makeup was flawless. "Lyla, it's a good thing the old lady tripped me up," Paige said in honest admiration. "If you had ended up with a bimbo's brains and libido in that body... I shudder to think about the results." Lyla giggled; a happy, girlish giggle. "Oh well, Paige, no harm done. Except maybe to my own self-image. I'm beginning to wonder how I'll ever deal with having to go back to being nerdy old Lyle again." The two girls were sharing Paige's car again. "Oh, Lyle wasn't so bad," Paige offered. "He was smart, and pretty sweet, I have to admit." "Yes," Lyla said, tossing back her hair. "And also the clumsiest klutz in six counties." "Well," Paige finally said with a sigh. "Nobody's perfect." A couple of minutes later she asked, "Lyla, did you really mean what you said, about not wanting to go back to being Lyle again?" Now it was the new girl's turn to be pensive. "I don't know. I've only been a girl for a few hours, but it seems so... I don't know how to put it, so right, I guess. It's like I've got all of Lyle's good parts, none of his bad parts, and a killer body to boot!" "Well," Paige said. "Right now, you're due to change back 12 hours after the park closes on Sunday. Tell me, do you think you might want to make the change permanent?" "Well," Lyla said, "I am kind of tempted, to be honest. Can we talk about it again in a few days?" "Sure," Paige said with a smile. "That's fine." And so, the week passed quickly. Each day found Lyla feeling more and more comfortable in his new skin. For the first time in his life, he had a circle of true friends. His feelings of shyness and awkwardness were already receding into distant memory. Every day at the beach, Lyla seemed to be the leader of the fun and games; the same held true every night on the town. Although she enjoyed the attentions of many cute guys, and even danced with several of them, she told her new girlfriends she wasn't ready to get serious with anyone... yet. Friday morning, Lyla was the first one up. Paige found her out on the deck of their motel room, wrapped in a pink satin robe, a cup of coffee in hand, watching the sunrise. "Good morning, Lyla," Paige greeted her cheerily. "Hi Paige. So as not to keep you in suspense... I've made my big decision." "Well?" "I want to stay a girl. I love it! I just love it!" Paige hugged her tightly. "I'm glad. I'm really glad. Let's get dressed and head over to the park." Soon, the two young women were seated across from the old woman. Paige's body language betrayed her nervousness. But she screwed up her courage and began. "Thank you for taking the time to see us. The reason we're here... well, it concern Lyla. She would like to see about making the changes permanent." The old woman turned her gaze directly on Lyla. "Really, dear?" she asked. "Are you sure?" "More so than I've been sure of anything in my life," she said with a huge smile. "All right then," the old woman said. "This will mean Lyla will have to purchase a lifetime pass to the park." She wrote a dollar figure on a piece of paper, and handed it to Lyla. Her smile disappeared, replaced by a crestfallen look. "But... I can't afford anything close to this. I'm... I'm sorry." Paige took the paper, looked at the number, gulped, and said, "I can take care of this." Lyla looked at her new friend and said, "Oh, Paige, that's a lot of money! Are you really sure?" "Yes, I want to do this for you. You deserve it. Especially after the mean way I tried to trick you, but you deserve it anyway." Lyla felt tears welling up in her eyes. She threw her arms around Paige and said, "I don't know how I can ever thank you." The old woman asked Lyla to step outside while she and Paige took care of business. Paige reached into her purse for her checkbook. "I hope you're learned an important lesson, here, young lady." "Yes. Yes, I have. This will mean I don't get the new BMW daddy promised me for my senior year, but it's worth it." She tore the check out of the book, and passed it to the old lady. "Very good," the old lady said with a smile. "I hope you and your friends will come back to see us again." With the sale of the lifetime pass, Lyla's transformation became permanent; and the old woman decided it would be easiest for all if she and Paige were the only ones who remembered her male past. As far as the rest of Thetas knew now, Lyla had always been one of their sisters. After Paige had left, the old lady asked Anya to take a break from the ticket booth so they could talk. "Now Anya, you know how things have worked out for Lyla and her friends. What have you learned from all of this?" Anya blushed a bit. "Well, I know that I can't trust people just on what they say. I have to be able to look beneath the surface, and learn how to use my magic to do that." "Yes you do, dear. I sense maybe you're a little hesitant or afraid about using your special gifts more? Don't be. That's one of the reasons I'm so glad you're here with me. You have great potential, and it deserves to be fully developed. Perhaps one day..." The old woman let the thought trail off. Things were quiet for a moment. "Did you learn anything else, Anya?" "Well, I'm not sure." The Grandmother smiled. "Even though the magic of our park only works directly on men, I think you've seen a good example of how it can affect women, too." Anya nodded. "True. And I thought it was nice of you to give Paige a chance to redeem herself." The old lady had a thoughtful look. "She was really at a pivotal point in her life. She's bright, talented, and wasn't intrinsically evil--yet. But they way she was willing to turn Lyle's life upside down showed a real callousness toward others. But her genuine regret, her kindness the rest of the week, and her willingness to sacrifice to purchase the lifetime pass for Lyla, all tipped the scales the other way." "Well, what if she hadn't made that decision? What would have happened?" "If she hadn't," the old lady said evenly, "I would have sold the lifetime pass to Lyla at a price she could have afforded. As for Paige... well, I don't think she would have liked the changed reality she would have faced." "How so?" "Oh, just imagine her going back to campus and learning that Lyla was now in her place as president of the Thetas, that Lyla was now star of the cheerleading squad, and Lyla was now going steady with her boyfriend." Anya looked surprised. "Wouldn't that be taking a lot away from her?" "It's all a matter of balancing the scales, dear Anya," the woman said. "It's all a matter of balancing the scales of justice."

Bikini Beach Spring Break

Bikini Beach: Spring Break By Elrod W Stan and Chuck were still wiping their hands as they emerged from the restroom. They moved slowly; from the fatigued look in their eyes, one would correctly guess that they'd been awake for a very long time. Jack stood up behind the windshield, peering at the two. "Come on, guys! Time's a-wastin'." He slid back behind the steering wheel of his Camaro convertible, a sleek midnight blue car suited for a young man. Right now, however, it looked...

Bikini Beach A Private Matter

Bikini Beach: A Private Matter By Bashful Anya called her grandmother and told her the bad news. Bikini Beach A Punks Story

Bikini Beach: A Punk's Story By Ellie Dauber Copyright 2000 By the time we came back after the Memorial Day break, the school year's just about over. Sure, there were a couple weeks left -- and the exams, but who worries about them? Me, I was thinking about the summer, three months to have fun and raise hell. It looked like the fun was starting early. It was just a couple of days after we got back. I was walking around, looking for Bill Gerhart. Bill was just a guy I knew, but...

Bikini Beach Friends with Benefits

Bikini Beach: Friends with Benefits By: Light Clark Synopsis: Andy seems like the kind of guy that has it all, rich parents, good looks, and smarts. However, in spite of all that, he leads a double life while hoping to find a special friend who might be willing to share in it. A heavy sigh slid out of my lips as I plunked down at one of the round, common area tables with my lunch tray in hand. It wasn't because of the low-quality, lukewarm meal. I wasn't picky. Nor was it...

Bikini Beach: Wandering Eyes By Elrodw An active volcano would not have fumed so much as Brenda. It always got to her. I wrote this story a long time ago and held off trying to post it. If I can find where I put my old notebooks I think I have at least one more chapter of it hand-written somewhere.
