I was familiar with the small casino layout, and we were led across the
floor. It was quite early in the evening so even though tables were open
there were few patrons yet. In an hour or so it would be bustling. I'd

I recognised one of the dealers and he locked eyes as we passed. He
faltered slightly in his banter and then paid his patrons full attention.

We went through a back door into unfamiliar territory. This must be where

realised we were being led up to the glass office that over-looked the
gaming floor.
We entered and stood before who I assumed to be the owner or the manager.
She was striking and beautiful. About thirty. Attractive features and

"Nice to meet you, Miss Pink," she smiled, nodding to my escorts to

What the hell was this? I thought. Did she think I was a woman? Know I

She grinned. "I like that you're making an effort. I appreciate that."
Kat and Jenny sniggered. The woman looked at them. "You girls may wait at
the bar."
They were escorted out and suddenly, alone, I got a little scared.
"Please don't be nervous," the woman said, inspecting me closely,
touching parts of my body. "My name is Cassandra. I own this casino and a
couple of others like it. I wondered if you might be interested in some
employment?"
I was confused. Hadn't sent my CV out for years. Not applied for
anything. How did she even know about me? Unless it was a set-up.........
"I have a job," I said, keeping up my feminine act in both stance and
voice. Only, I knew, it wasn't an act. It came naturally to me after all
my years dressing and studying feminine behaviour and form.
"No, I mean something part-time for the evenings."
I considered her. She seemed friendly. And I did love the casino
atmosphere. Maybe I could work as a dealer or something. A little extra
money wouldn't hurt since I had stepped down in my role at Argos.

"Good girl," she said and pushed a buzzer.
An attractive lady stepped in with a uniform hidden in clear plastic.
Because of the folds and creases I couldn't make it out.
"Try on your uniform," Cassandra told me. "Let me see how you look."
I unzipped the clear, plastic bag........And my jaw dropped. It was

"But this for......" I gasped.
I loved heading to Vegas to gamble. Tried to make a trip every year. And

"Do you want to?" Cassandra asked.
I nodded. How could I deny myself?

I looked around for somewhere to change, but she waved her hand.

I started to undress, expecting her to laugh. But she didn't. She just
watched, occasionally letting out a tiny moan as more and more of my body

of our patrons will be drinking. Some winning. Some losing. If they're

"Can I just try?" I asked. "Will I have a guide?"

Check in with her at the bar if you need anything. Work the Blackjack
tables and around and about. For tonight I'll let you keep all your tips.

It sounded fair, but what did she mean?
"Extra-carricular?" I gulped.
"Girl, look at you. You'll figure it out."

I headed downstairs, careful in my heels and when I reached the games
floor door I stopped.
Why not? I thought. Except for Kat and Jenny, nobody knew me here. It was
just one night. After which I'd tell Cassandra I would have to pass on
the job, unless.......I enjoyed it and asked her when my next shift was.
I pushed through the door to the hustle and bustle, the flashing lights
and sounds of the slots. I walked, practising degrees of sexiness with my
hips. Too much and I'd look ridiculous; too little and people wouldn't

money.
I reached the Blackjack and Poker areas. Roulette, too. And a spinning
Wheel of Fortune. Baccarat.
"Drinks and refreshments," I called, but my voice was meek. A mouse.
I turned at a hand on my shoulder.
"Hi, Hon. I'm Annie," the older, much more experienced Head Waitress
said. "Little louder, Sweetie. Let them know you're here."
"But people will see me," I told her.
"I don't have time to babysit. We're a waitress down. But, look
around.......Except to ogle, nobody looks at us. They'll be looking at

"Cocktails! Drinks! Refreshments!"

I took several orders, and with each I was getting more confident. I
walked to the bar and back several times, getting to know the bartenders.
Kat and Jenny had to have their giggles. Even though they were sat in the
lounge area they called me over and placed orders.

By the end of my first hour I realised I was enjoying myself. There were

I couldn't get to the bar and back quick enough. The woman was

"My name is Isabella," she said, holding out her hand.
"Miss, can I get a drink here!" somebody called from the other end of the
table. I didn't even look up, lost in her deep ocean blue eyes.
"Lauren," I nodded, taking her hand gently.
"You best go serve," she whispered. "I'm here all night if you want to
chat when you're passing."
I nodded dreamily and moved away.
I spent the next few hours floating on air. I had brief moments to chat
with Isabella that amounted to a whole conversation in snippets. It
really was a delightful evening.......but something was nagging at me. At
first it had been a quiet, disturbed whisper in my mind, but now it was a
shout for attention.
Something Cassandra had said as she adjusted my figure and focussed on my
breasts: "I haven't got what I expected, but I'll work with what I've
got."
Where had I heard that before?
Near the end of my shift, I went to serve Isabella a final time. She
handed me her empty glass, a serviette stuck to the bottom. I looked
down. She had written her number on the napkin.

"I-I'm not the kind of girl you think I am," I blustered, thrown by the
attention.
She chuckled in a friendly manner. "It may be the drink talking, but
you're the kind of girl I've been looking for all my life. I just never
expected to find you here. Tonight. Please call me."
I headed upstairs, once again believing the plans of my tormentors had
bit them on the ass. I'd had an amazing evening, and earned a couple of
hundred pounds, too.
I knocked on Cassandra's door and she called me in.
"Well?" she asked eagerly. "How did you find it? You looked like you were
enjoying yourself."
I couldn't believe it had happened. I had such a good time. Made some
money. Sure, there were discomforting moments, but nothing I couldn't
handle. And nothing that compared to what Lyn and Kat were doing to me.
"I really liked it," I said, my guard still up slightly because of that
annoying phrase in my head. Where had I heard that before? And how did
she know I would be coming in tonight?
"Well, let's get through Christmas. Give you a little more time to
practise and develop in....certain areas. Then, if you want to come and
work for me, the job is yours. I'd love for you to be a part of my team.
Now, get changed."
I couldn't believe it. A few nights like this and I could eventually
afford to quit Argos. Be free of Lyn. Continue living as I was and
working in an environment of acceptance.
Cassandra helped me out of the basque. "You best take this so you can
learn how to do it yourself," she laughed. "Remember: nice and tight to
help your figure."
I stepped out of the skirt and slipped into my dress.
I held out my hand, thanked her and walked to the door.
"You are so graceful," Cassandra noted. "Such a nice surprise."
I looked back, nodding my thanks.
"There is one thing," I said. "That phrase you used when you were
checking out my.....you know....."
"Your tits," she said. "Get used to it, girl. When they're a bit bigger
in that kind of work outfit......"
"Yes. But you said something like, 'I haven't got what I expected, but
I'll work with what I've got'.........Where did that come from?"
And then, after such bliss, after believing I had found a delightful
escape and a place of sanctuary, my world crashed down around me like a
house of cards in seconds.
Cassandra smiled wickedly at me. She winked.
"That's something my sister once said about a manager she didn't get
along with named Larry."
