She knew this was serious and there was no way she was going to directly pay for Linda not keeping her word. Mara was pissed when she got confirmation of the report by seeing Michelle and her mom. The sorceress scryed into Michelle's past and saw the truth. Linda was given the means for justice, but used it for vengeance. Mara knew she should have watch over the situation better. But she had more importants things to do, like positioning herself to have more influence in her house, than worry about if a mortal did the right thing. These "normals" would not understand why she gave the prospective sorceress that power. It was done as a test and Linda failed it. Michael and Hazel would only see how it affected them. To Mara, they were not looking at the big picture. That if Mara did not give the test and Linda became a purveyor of magic her student could have caused serious damage. One "normal" not being happy with their body was worth the price to Mara. Then again, this was for it was not her body which was the cost. Mara really believed If Hazel and Michael saw the situation from Mara's point of view, then those two would have no issue with what she has done. Mara was just out recruiting new sorceresses and she thought that Linda would have made a great candidate. The people who filled those void left from Linda not having her closest friends were great. She just did not feel the same connection to them as they did with her; their reality was so different to Linda's. Linda knew that they shared the events in the stories they told, but to her it was like she only watch them as a movie. They were talking about what they did and Linda saw it as only what she remembered. She did not feel a real connection to those good times which they brought up. She got a little taste of revenge by Michelle crawling to her and that might suffice. Then she just thought that this little ploy just increase the number of boys Michelle had to be with tonight from one to two. Linda changed into the costume and did not know what was happening. She started to be queasy; also she felt thicker and more solid. The cheerleading outfit felt wrong. It was loose on her body where it should have been tight and tight on her body where it should have been loose. It felt like she forced her feet into her shoes so she looked down. To her surprise her legs were hairy and bigger. "Fuck me, how did this happen" Linda thought. The girl who was tricked did not know that outfit was magical and it came from Mara. That tonight was best summed up by the immortal words of Admiral Ackbar, "It's a Trap." She quickly ran out of the guest room. The new boy in a cheerleader outfit made it into the kitchen, looking and hoping her purse was still there somehow. It had her way out of boyhood card in it, the potion which would revert Michelle back to being Michael. She knew that she might finally have to let her ex-man revert back to being who he really was. It was a shame because, in her eyes, that bitch did get enough pain. Hopefully, that sorceress who gave her the means to get back at Michael would know that boy has not got what he deserved. Ms. Caligiuri was sitting at the kitchen table looking as like she found what Mick Jagger was looking for, satisfaction, when she saw the boy in drag. But Linda knew that Ms. Caligiuri did not get what she wanted for Michael's way back to his old life was still on the table, along with a man's wallet, her cell phone sans sparkles and house keys. With the vial still on the table, Linda knew right then she still had the upper hand grabbed that vial. It was her leverage to get that bitch, Michelle and her no good mom, to change her back to a girl. She opened it and held it over the sink. Then Ms. Caligiuri calmly said, "Now, I wouldn't be holding that over the sink like that if I was you, Larry." Larry laughed to himself with how Ms Caligiuri thought she had the upper hand. He was holding the essence of his ex-man's and Hazel's son's manhood over the sink ready to dump it if he did not get his way. The confident girl trapped in a boy's body then shared the laughter, Larry wanted to make sure Michelle's mom knew who was in charge and was just being silly giving him orders. "You are right, I should be holding it with the mouth pointing down. Now change me back to who I really am and I will give this to your daughter when she learns to never mess with me. If you do not do so right now, I will dump it. I swear I will." Hazel knew that Larry was not lying. The girl who was now a boy showed how vicious and vindictive she could be. Hazel truthfully responded when she said. "Larry, I cannot give you what I don't have, but if you know what is good for you then you will listen to me and not dump that potion." Hazel had to admit she liked getting payback but she hoped that Larry did not dump his salvation, literally and figuratively, down the drain. She did not like who Larry was, as either a boy or a girl, but no one deserved the pain which the boy would unleash on himself by acting spitefully. Ms. Caligiuri knew the months of crying himself to sleep and not having a true smile on his face ahead for Larry if he tried to hurt Micheal right now. "If I am stuck as a boy, then your son is stuck as a girl." Larry turned the vial and the liquid in it quickly went down the drain. His hopes of becoming a girl again anytime soon also went down the drain. As the last drop of what would restore her body to its original form was in the air, Michael came walking into the kitchen. "You should have listened to my mother. She could not give what you wanted for you already had it. Mara told us you could use that potion to change yourself back. You just dumped any chance you had of becoming Linda again. You are trapped as a boy for a long time with no help." Larry could not believe that the angel he thought was of justice, was really of deceit. It hurt that he was betrayed by a perceived ally. Larry still did not understand the person who truly betrayed him was himself. He did so by not wanting justice, but revenge. That was of little concerned to the boy, he had to figure out how to get back to being Linda. At least Larry knew his mom would believe him. That gave him the strength to still try to show he was going to get to back to who he was soon. "My mom will believe that I am really Linda, just like your mom believed you. You know like you said, 'a mother knows her child.'" "True a mother knows her child and she will come around to believing that you are a girl. It is just she will see you as a transgender girl. Your mom already knows about you in this cheerleader outfit and saying your real name is Linda. She is on her way over to pick you up." When the boy who was now Larry heard the last four words he had a new understanding of Mara's parting words. They went from being an affirmation that his heart was in the right place, to a warning to make sure that it was. Larry also knew finally Michael got what he deserved, revenge on Linda for intentionally hurting the boy who broke her heart. Tears came to Larry's eye, he knew he was going to be stuck as a boy until he got what he wanted, vengeance being served.
