I smiled back at her and watched her as she hurried off to her class.
I sighed to myself and rushed off to my first period.
“Ah Jay. Good to see you. Did you bring in your permission slip like I asked?”
I looked at my teacher, “Yes Coach. Here you go.” And I handed him my slip.
Coach laughed, “Please we’re not on the field. Here you can call me Mr. Morrison.”

I smiled to myself as I read the note realizing that Amanda wanted to continue to be friends and stay how we were. Only problem I didn't want us to stay how we were. I wanted to broaden our relationship.
