Just to show willing, I asked her for the names of her contacts and she
said she would e-mail them to me. Though, I had little thought of
contacting them.
I certainly had something to think about while leaving the office. I
really wanted the job. I also needed the job. My redundancy money was not
going to last indefinitely and my mortgage payments were eating into it
fast. If I did not get a job soon I would have to start thinking about
downsizing. However, becoming a woman just to get a job? I must be mad
even thinking about it. I wondered if I could I deceive them long enough
to get settled in the job, before telling them that I had decided to
transition back to male. That might work. I could see the psychiatrist and
pretend that I was transitioning, get a prescription from the doctor and
maybe just take a few of the pills (but not many so they would have any
lasting effect). The big problem, as I saw it, would be changing my name
and identity. I would have to tell family and friends and I had no idea
what their attitude would be. I would also need to be dressing as a woman
and again I was not sure how that would turn out.
I thought back to the school plays in which I had performed female roles.
Most people thought I had done well and looked the part, but it was a long
time ago and I had matured since then although I was still quite short,
about five foot seven inches.
"What about clothes?" I thought. I would need a complete wardrobe, from
office to every day and evening. This was becoming a major project even by
itself. It was lucky I was not in a relationship, at the moment but I
would need some female advice. I thought I better take my sister into my
confidence as I was sure she would help and also not give the game away.
We were quite close and had played dressing up games when we were
children. She had enjoyed dressing me up as a girl and I had not minded
then, it was fun.
My sister had married well and lived in a big house. She did not need to
work and had no children. I phoned her and said I would like to visit her.
We agreed that I should go over to her the following day at about eleven
o'clock and then we could have some lunch together.
That evening I received an e-mail from the HR lady giving the details of
the Psychiatrist, Doctor and Lawyer. She added that she had helpfully made
appointments for me to see all three next Tuesday, if that was convenient?
I had no option but to reply thanking her for her help.
I went to see my sister the following day and explained the predicament I
was in. She told me I was crazy even thinking about it but also that she
thought it would be quite amusing and that if I wanted to go through with
it she would help me any way she could.
"It's a good thing we are about the same size," she stated. "I was about
to go through my cupboards and throw away a lot of stuff, but now I can
donate it to worthy cause, you."
"Thanks," I said.
"Oh well, there's no time like the present, let's get you sorted out,
young lady!"
She led me upstairs to the bathroom and handed me a jar of pink cr?me.
"Undress completely, smear this stuff all over you evenly starting at the
feet and working up your body to your neck. Then wait ten minutes and
gently wash the hair away from your feet working upwards. If it does not
wash off easily wait a bit longer till the hair is dissolved. You should
end up nice and smooth afterwards. In the meantime, I will sort out
something for you to wear."
I did as I was told and about twenty minutes later dried my now pink and
hairless body off on the towel from the rack. I felt very cold, soft and
vulnerable without the layer of fur I had had for many years. I had the
towel secured around my waist when my sister came back in. "Good heavens,
you can't use a towel like that, you have to cover your boobs with it,
remember in future."
She handed me a pair of black knickers, these had a wide elasticated waist
band and a piece of satin that went down under the crotch. She said, "I
added a sanitary towel in there to give you extra protection. They should
fit alright if you push your bits backwards."
I eased them on under the towel and was surprised when I looked to see I
now had a flat front which looked deceptively female.
"Now try the bra."
She handed me a black lacy long line bra with an elasticated waist. I put
it on with the five fasteners at the front and turned it around, then
slipped my arms through the straps. The elastic and lace pulled some of my
loose flesh into the cups to give a bit of cleavage but it was nowhere
enough to fill the cups. She said, "Hold on a moment," and quickly left
the bathroom returning a few moments later with some 'enhancers'. "These
should help!"
I put them in and I instantly had medium sized breasts with which any
woman would be happy. The combination of the waist elastic of the bra and
knickers served to put my waist in giving me some shape there.
"Wash your face thoroughly with warm water, use my hubby's electric razor
to give yourself a very close shave and then rub this foundation cr?me
well into your face all over. Then meet me in the bedroom."
I did as I was told and about fifteen minutes later was seated by her at
her dressing table but with my back to the mirror.
"I'm now going to do your make-up. I'll just do a light every day look at
the moment and let's see how you look. The cr?me foundation has
considerably softened your facial feature so you are already looking quite
good."
She continued to make up my face and then placed a dark brown shoulder
length wig on my head. "Now," she said, "come and look at your-self in the
mirror."
I was astounded. Reflected in the mirror was not me, but a young
attractive woman dressed in her underwear, who I had never seen before.
The strange thing was that her movements exactly matched my own, so
although my brain was telling me it wasn't me, logic told me otherwise.
"Now, let's get some clothes on you. Let's try an office suit first."
She produced a cerise coloured silk blouse, with buttons down the front, a
navy blue straight skirt with matching jacket and some court shoes with a
three inch heel. I put on the blouse, skirt and jacket but the shoes were
far too tight and the jacket although fitting, needed to be looser if I
was going to wear it all day.
"What size shoes are you?" she asked.
"Size nine," I replied.
"Oh" she said" Those are size sevens, they are quite large for a woman.
Size nine is almost off the chart but there are a few specialist shops
that stock them or we may have to order on-line. I may have some sandals
that may have a bit more give in them for now though." She rummaged in the
bottom of her cupboard and found some black ones with a lower heal. I
tried them on and they were much more comfortable and I was able to walk
on the carpet quite easily in them.
"Good that's an office ensemble put together. Now, you need some daytime,
casual and evening wear."
Over the next few hours, we had a light lunch and she cleared about one-
third of her wardrobe which she gave to me. She had also added clip on ear
rings, necklaces and a couple of watches but none of her rings fitted me.
It was strange, but I had been dressed as a woman for most of the day and
felt quite at ease. We had even agreed that my name would be Angela and
she was calling me that or Angie.
Her husband, Jack, would be home soon and she was keen to show me to him.
I packed all my new and old clothes into the car and waited anxiously for
him to arrive.
When he arrived, I was introduced as Angela, a friend. I could see he was
slightly confused but he did not say anything. After we shook hands he
asked me a few questions and after I replied to them he suddenly said, "I
know who you are! You're Jean's sister... I mean brother, aren't you?"
I admitted it and all was explained to him at which point he said, "You
look really good. You could fool most people but you need practice in the
outside world, so I'm taking you two girls out to dinner tonight. Get your
handbags and coats and we're off"
We went to very nice Italian restaurant nearby and were enjoying our main
course without any adverse reaction from anyone, when a voice said,
"Hello, Jack."
"Hello, Bill," said Jack. "You know my wife Jean and this is her sister,
Angela."
Bill politely shook hands with all of us.
"Are you here on your own?" asked Jack.
"Yes," he said, "May I join you?"
"Of course," replied Jack with an amused look on his face. "Sit next to
Angela, over there."
"I'd be delighted."
