Chapter Five
Linda had someone fallen asleep in her bonds and was jolted awake when
the van rocked as someone slid open the door and stepped in.
In short order she was unstrapped from the floor and her hogtie released.
As she let out a groan from the newfound freedom, she felt chains being
clamped on her ankles. With a hard slap on her bum she was rolled over
and into a sitting position and then pulled out of the van. Disoriented
with the hood still on she struggled to stay upright. Another slap, this
time even harder and a firm grip on her corseted waist steadied her.
Her captor ordered her to keep her eyes closed. She did and the hood was
removed and quickly replaced by a blindfold. A leash was snapped on to
her collar and yanked taut. With no choice but to follow or fall she
stumbled over uneven ground in the short steps enforced by her ankle
chain. She abruptly walked into the back of her captor who cursed her as
a set of keys was jangled and then a door noisily squealed open. The
leash was again pulled tight and she stepped out of the rough floored
area into a room that felt smaller and had a concrete floor. Again, she
was stopped and this time her leash was pulled up over her head, the
collar becoming a noose. The pressure stopped when her heels began to
rise from the floor. Without a word, the captor left and she was alone
again.
As she struggled to maintain her balance, she thought she heard muffled
sobs and a metallic noise. Perhaps she wasn't alone? As she struggled
to breath she wondered what Lady Patricia was doing.
Chapter Six
A flashlight flickered and jumped in the darkness as the holder attempted
to follow the faint trail that led out of the village. The terrain had
been climbing and recent rains made navigating the barely there trail
difficult. Unseen by the woman who had been spying on the trio in the
market was a lithe figure who trailed behind her. The follower was
hampered by having no light and the urgent need to not alert the woman
ahead of her. Several times the woman with the flashlight had suddenly
turned off the light and listened for sounds of pursuit. Nothing but the
croak of frogs and buzz of mosquitos had disturbed the forest, she felt
she was alone. Cursing the poor trail conditions she had continued
stumbling through the night while her tail crept quietly behind.
With almost no notice, the flashlight bearing woman stepped out of the
thick forest and into a clearing. In the center of the space was an old
wooden barn and nearby an equally ancient farmhouse. The barn was dark
however a faint light could be seen around the edges of one of the house
windows. With a sigh that her journey was almost over, the woman trudged
through the unmown grass towards the house. As she passed the barn she
paused to listen. She thought she might have heard a moan but if she
did, it was faint and not repeated. Nodding, she continued to the house
and after stomping her feet to announce herself, turned off the
flashlight and stepped into the porch and then the kitchen.
At the edge of the clearing, a set of eyes watched the woman enter the
house. Unsure of what she should do but knowing time was short and not
wanting to risk returning to the village through the darkened forest
trail she moved along the edge of the clearing and eventually found an
overgrown driveway. With a look back at the house and barn, she turned
and began walking rapidly away.
Meanwhile back at the ship Pattie, Jane and Rick were unable to sleep and
were gathered in Jane and Rick's suite. Pattie was not comfortable
meeting in her suite as the empty bed reminded her too much of Linda.
They rehashed the event as they understood it. Despite the police
assurance of full support, they all questioned the ability of the local
constabulary as this abduction had seemed to be professional and beyond
the abilities of the local police to resolve. The Captains words at
dinner about missing guests from other cruises came back to Rick. He
wondered if perhaps Linda's disappearance was part of a greater operation
and if so, then the likelihood of the police solving the case was slight.
As he mentioned this to the ladies, Jane piped up with something that had
been bothering her.
"Did either of you notice that Danielle disappeared soon after she was
interviewed by the police inspector?" she asked. Her statement prompted
an acknowledgement from Rick but Pattie said that she had been too
distraught to notice.
"You don't think Leigh had something to do with this do you?" asked
Pattie.
"I don't," said Jane, "but I do find it suspicious that the only eye
witness disappeared right afterwards. I think we should visit Leigh in
the morning and ask her some hard questions about Danielle."
They all agreed that was the right thing to do and with the combination
of some island rum and a good backrub, Pattie said that she would try to
get some rest. As she was falling asleep she dreamed of where Linda was
and hoped that she was not in pain.
As the sun began to make an appearance and turn shadows into light, a
bedraggled woman with scrapes below her dress hem staggered into the
village and turned into the market area.
Back at the farmhouse, the woman who had walked through the night and the
ringleader of the gang of white slavers appeared to be unfazed by her
lack of sleep and difficult walk. She stomped through the cobwebbed
former living room and kicked the leg of the large man sleeping on the
floor.
"C'mon, wake up Brutus. I want to see our latest acquisition up close
and get the shipment ready."
With a grumpy acknowledgement he stood up and in turn kicked the woman
who was sleeping beside him. "Get up bitch and get some food cooking,
I'm hungry." Without waiting for a reply he followed the leader as she
strode purposely across the field to the barn.
Chapter Seven
As daylight began seeping through the warped wall boards of the room
where Linda was tied, her struggles to relieve the pressure on her airway
had loosened the knot of her blindfold. With a couple of shakes of her
head she was able to make it slide down her face and then off her body.
As she blinked away the sweat and tears she was able to focus on the
contents of the room. What she saw made her scream.
Linda's scream through the gag did not penetrate the walls of the room
but it was enough to awaken the others who were in it. As Linda tiptoed
in a semi-circle she spied five women tightly embraced in wrought iron
cages. The cages were formed in an hourglass shape and it was clear that
one size did not fit all. Although all were fit, some were curvier yet
all were so tightly bound by the steel that they were unable to move more
than a wiggle. Furthermore, all of them were muted by some sort of gag
that was attached to a bar in front of their mouths. That the gag was
effective was evident by the barely heard sobs that emanated from some of
them. All had their hair in a top knot which was secured tautly to the
top of the cage and all were wearing ballet shoes that forced them to
stand on their tiptoes. Silent expressions pleaded at Linda who was
equally helpless. Her anxiety rose when she spotted one empty cage. The
open door revealed the massive gag that awaited its victim and made her
shudder to realize that it is what was muting the women.
As she made these mental connections, the squeaky door from last night
opened and a tall woman in knee high leather boots strode confidently
into the room. She was wearing riding jodhpurs and a crisp white blouse.
Her leather gloved hands held a stiff riding crop which she was flexing
as she walked up to Linda.
With a sneer at the teetering and leashed woman in front of her, the gang
leader said, "Welcome to our island resort my dear. My name is Ingrid,
you may call me Mistress. I am assuming you must be Linda _____."
Linda's eyes flared at the mention of her captors knowledge of her name.
"I know," continued Ingrid. "You must be wondering how I know your name.
That my dear is information you don't need to know. What you do need to
know is that you have been carefully selected to join these fine young
women on a special cruise." As she spoke, she walked alongside each
cage, her crop dragging across the bars like the rubber flapper on a
crown and anchor spinning wheel. As she passed each cage she gave a
gentle tug which set it in motion and an eruption of moans. "Quiet!" she
yelled and slapped her crop against one of the cages. The women
instantly went silent, it was obvious they had felt the wrath of Ingrid
before.
Striding back to Linda, she said, "I must apologize for your current
condition Linda. You must feel out of place trussed up like you are. I
will rectify that immediately." With that said, she turned to Brutus who
lurked in the doorway.
"Come here you oaf and help me get this poor girl properly dressed and
into her new home." In short order, Linda was stripped of her clothes.
The ballet shoes were forced onto her feet and then she was marched over
to the awaiting cage. As she was pressed into the hour glassed torture
frame she stared in terror at the huge gag as it approached her mouth.
"Open your mouth honey," snarled Brutus, "it won't be the worst thing you
will have going in it and if you don't open up, I'll just break your
teeth!" As he said this, Ingrid slashed him across the back of his head.
"You'll do no such thing you lout. I won't have you damaging the goods
and lowering the price." Stepping up to Linda with her hand on the
almost closed door she smiled and said, "He's right about what will be
coming (haha) in your mouth honey but I do suggest you cooperate and open
your mouth." With that Linda opened her mouth and accepted the gag.
Once the door was closed and the gag pressed almost to her throat, Brutus
viciously attached her new top knot to the top of the cage and as Linda
squeaked, Ingrid twisted a knob on the front of the gag outside the cage.
That twist suddenly expanded the gag in Linda's mouth and any sound she
might have made was instantly cut off. Through her tears she saw Ingrid
join Brutus in laughing at her. As a final insult, Brutus used a hoist
to lift Linda's cage off the floor and Ingrid gave it a spin.
"Let's go see if that girlfriend of yours has breakfast ready Brutus. If
not, I might need to find another cage or have you dig a hole."
The door closed and the six women stared silently straight ahead. As
Linda's cage spun she cast her sorrowful look upon the others. Some
returned the look while others had a vacant stare. Eventually her cage
stopped spinning and she was left to stare at the bare wall.
Meanwhile, Lady P led the trio on a rapid walk from the ship to the
police station to get an update on the search for Linda. The answers
were not inspiring. The Inspector assured her all was being done but
there were so many places where a boat could land that he did not have
enough policemen to cover them all. He had asked for help from the
governor but that help was at least three days away. In the meantime he
continued to follow up leads. So far there was no trace of the van used
in the abduction. With a look at each other, the trio decided to not
share their suspicions of Danielle's involvement and left with a promise
to return for an update at noon.
Stepping out of the station, Rick stated what they all felt.
"It looks like we will have to increase our efforts to find Linda." With
that, they strode towards Island Pleasures with the intent of confronting
Danielle if she was there or Leigh if necessary.
As they were approaching the store, the front door opened and Leigh
stepped out with a tired looking Danielle in tow. As she turned to lock
the door she spotted them and put the key away. Whispering something to
Danielle she stood and waited for Pattie, Jane and Rick.
"You folks look as tired as I feel. I assume you have talked to the
police this morning. Any luck?"
With a tired shake of her head, Pattie said no and asked if they could
come in as they had some questions.
It was obvious to Leigh that they had something on their minds and she
bade them to enter.
"Please go right back to the office, there's enough chairs for everyone
and I have tea brewed. I have a story to tell you and we can decide what
to do next."
As they all entered the room, Danielle was finishing the pouring of tea
and she set one at each chair. Leigh told Danielle to sit down and have
one too. Danielle tiredly nodded and gratefully sank into her chair.
This action gave the group a chance to see that despite some effort to
clean herself up, Danielle was showing scratches and bruises on every
part of her exposed body and face. She was barely able to keep her eyes
open.
Jane spoke up and said to Leigh, "We have been talking about what
happened yesterday and we have some questions for Danielle. It is
obvious she is tired and has been through some sort of ordeal but we are
very concerned about our dear Linda and we insist that we be allowed to
ask our questions." This was said politely but clearly with the
intention that "No" was not acceptable. Rick backed up his wife's
statement with a glare at Danielle and the crossing of his arm.
Leigh quickly understood their angst and said, "I think I can clear up
some misunderstandings and perhaps we can provide some key information
for the authorities." The trio looked at each other, glanced at Danielle
and grudgingly nodded for Leigh to continue.
"Thank you," said Leigh, "I can appreciate your concern and perhaps
suspicions of my submissive here." Nods confirmed her statement and she
continued. "Let me tell you what transpired yesterday afternoon from my
perspective. As we were administering aid to Patricia here I noticed a
suspicious woman across the street. She was standing at the back of the
crowd and didn't seem to be as alarmed as others around her were.
Furthermore, while she was dressed like a local, I noticed that she
wasn't wearing her head scarf like we do. I was curious as to who she
was and I asked Danielle here to quickly change and to follow the woman."
With these words, Jane and Pattie both reached out for Danielle and
patted her on the hand in appreciation and acknowledgement that perhaps
they had been hasty in judging her.
Leigh continued... "It appears that the woman was in fact not a local.
As the crowd began to disperse, she left the area and soon after my
little subbie here watched her enter the forest near the playground.
From there and into the night, my little girl followed this woman as she
used an old animal trail to climb the mountain behind the village. The
trek took hours and it was very dangerous for Danielle as she was by
herself, in the dark with no idea if the woman was dangerous. My brave
little girl followed this woman to an old farm high up the mountain. I
know the farm and it has been abandoned for many years. There was a
light in the house when there should not have been. Once the woman
entered the house, my submissive found her way to a road and then
followed it down to the village. She only arrived here an hour or less
ago. After hearing her story, I thought it important enough to bring to
the Inspector. That was where we were going when you arrived."
Hearing this story seemed to invigorate the group and together they
rushed Danielle to hug her and thank her. Despite her exhaustion, she
smiled and said that she had only done what her owner had asked her and
that she hoped her information would help the police find Linda.
With that information, the group decided to return immediately to the
police station where they found the Inspector conducting a briefing of
his officers. They were able to convince him to pause the meeting and
listen to what Danielle had to say. With interjections and prompts from
Leigh, the story was repeated and the Inspector convinced.
The Inspector was not a foolish man and understood that anyone who had
conducted such a bold and efficient abduction would be a professional and
as such prepared to defend themselves. Furthermore, he had no idea how
many people were in the gang.
Despite Pattie's strong objections, the Inspector insisted on calling in
reinforcements from sub-detachments across the island. He also asked for
the governor to provide naval assistance and armed with the information
from Danielle, the governor agreed to do so. All this took time and the
day began to close.
Out on the ocean, a large yacht dropped anchor and a sizeable launch soon
moved away and towards a secluded beach. The light from the early moon
was sufficient for the pilot of the launch. A phone call was made from
the ship. "We are in position. You can move the merchandise to the
store." A curt, "Will do," from a female voice was the response.
At the farmhouse, Ingrid hung up the phone and turning to her gang said,
"Well, we're almost $600,000 richer folks. That was the buyer. He has
sent his launch to the beach. Let's get our merchandise loaded in the
van." Some quick high-fives and the gang dispersed.
In the prison room time had no meaning for Linda and the other captives.
She was so tired that even the gag had stopped keeping her awake. She
dropped in and out of sleep and each awakening only caused minor movement
of the cage and the same blank look at the wall. The other captives were
too tired to attempt to talk.
The sudden opening of the door startled the women and brought them out of
their slumber. "Good news girls!" exclaimed Ingrid as she strode into
the room. "Your new owner has arrived and soon you will be moved to your
new homes. All that is left is to move you from here to the beach but
don't you worry as we will do all the hard work." With that she chuckled
and pointing at the closest cage to the door said, "Let's start with that
one."
One by one the cages were lowered to the floor and then lifted first to
the floor of the van and then tilted and then secured to the roof.
Reinforcements on the roof allowed the cage to hang just off the floor of
the van. Soon Linda was being loaded as the last passenger. She found
herself face to face with one of the captives, their faces inches apart
and distorted from the massive gags.
"All right gang. Let's clean up the evidence here before we leave. We
might be able to pull this off again some time so I don't want to leave
any clues." The cleanup work took most of an hour.
The clock was ticking and the Inspector's team was rushing to the
farmhouse.
