Chapter 3:
After Stacey and I cleaned ourselves up, we took all of our purchases
to the counter to cash out. 20 minutes later, and Stacey's credit card
balance several hundred dollars higher, we made our exit from the store
with all of my new wardrobe in tow. I wore my male clothes out, but
kept the lingerie on underneath. We made our way back to Stacey's
apartment for the night.
For repayment of all of her generosity, I offered to order Stacey a
late dinner, which she gladly accepted. After place our order for
delivery, she suggested we get ready for bed. "I am pretty sure I have
a nightgown that will fit you," said Stacey, "my last boyfriend was
terrible about picking sizes, and I always felt too bad to return
them."
Stacey made her way into the walk-in closet, and returned, having
changed into sweats and a tank top, with a gorgeous Olga style, floor
length satin gown. It was black lace on top and leopard print over the
rest. She handed it to me along with the matching robe. "I loved the
look of this one, and wished he had got me the right size. Now I am
really happy I kept it around. Go ahead and try it on."
I removed my male clothes and bra, and slipped the gown over my head.
The lace bodice hugged me like a glove, and the long full skirt fell
just to the floor. It was perfect. "Wow! This is amazing. Easily the
most glamorous sleepwear I have ever worn. Thank you so much for
loaning it to me."
"Not a loan, it's yours now," said Stacey. "It fits you like it was
made for you. Enjoy." I could barely contain my excitement, and gave
Stacey a hug. We lingered in the embrace for a few minutes, softly
kissing. It was a little odd to be in such a sexy garment while Stacey
was dressed very casually, but I wasn't complaining. We separated after
Stacey said we should probably start prepping for bed before the food
comes, since we both have to open tomorrow. I had almost forgotten that
part. Tonight was Thursday, we both worked Friday morning, and we don't
leave for the managers conference until Saturday.
Stacey took us both into her bathroom, and showed me her nightly
routine. For tonight she wanted us both to do peel-off masks to prep
our skin for the weekend. She pulled my hair back into a high pony,
used a lace headband to get the strays off my face, and applied a dark
thick mask on me. She then did the same for herself. "Ok, that has to
set up for 30 minutes, and the we wash it off," she said. Just at the
time her phone went off to say our food had arrived. "Flip you to see
who answers the door?" she said with a devilish grin. What the heck, I
thought, and quickly guessed heads. "Tails," said Stacey. "You lose."
She pulled my hair out of the pony tail and fluffed it up a bit to help
the look, I slipped on the robe and headed to the door.
The doorbell rang, and she buzzed the driver up. I opened the door to a
20ish year old, who just about dropped the bag when he saw me there. I
guess he liked what he saw. "Here's your food, ladies. Enjoy," he
stammered while handing off the bag.
"Wow. Pretty sure you made his night, based on how he was holding his
hand in front of him on his way out," she said with a smile and wink. I
had never really thought too much about the idea of turning guys on,
but it felt good to know that someone had that reaction to me. While we
ate, Stacey filled me in more on what the manager conference would
entail. "Saturday, after we check in, there will be a ice breaker get
together. Many of us already know each other within the district, but
there will be many people from other areas that we will get a chance to
meet. Then there will be meetings with our district manager and
regional manager to finish off the work portion of the day. Saturday
night is the formal dinner." Stacey noticed my slightly worried look.
"What's wrong? Are you getting cold feet?" She looked genuinely
concerned. "Not cold feet," I said, "I know I am safe with you. It's
just meeting Karen (our DM) and Irv (our RM), since they both already
know me as Jeff. Will there be any issues?"
"No issues whatsoever," Stacey assured me. "I have already spoke to
Karen about it, and she is 100% on board. As for Irv, I haven't spoken
with him, but he is typically so engrossed by his phone, you will be
lucky if he even notices us. The only thing you have to work on is
going in there with the confidence that a 23 year old hottie like
yourself should have. Everything else will work out just fine."
With that, we finished our meal, removed our mask and prepared for bed.
As Stacey was setting the alarm, I asked her to remember to set the
alarm 30 minutes earlier, as I needed to go home to get a change of
clothes for work. She gigged at me and said, "No, Laura, you have
everything you need already. Why do you think we did all that shopping
today. You are going to work girly tomorrow. It will give you good
practice for the conference. Plus, since you have been promoted to
Assistant Manager, you have to help me start the orientation for the
new seasonal hires. They all start tomorrow. We better get some sleep.
No hanky-panky tonight, save that for this weekend. Can you keep your
hands to yourself, or do I need to tie them to the headboard?" she said
with a twinkle in her eye.
