It truly did start out innocently. Eric kept to the speed limit exactly reaching there in an hour. He normally would have reached it in 20 minutes at his speed. They finally arrive, Eric parks and gets out with Arial. Already there were nearly 30 people, some he recognized in cold blood, others he never seen. Arial says, “Tiff…I’m surprised everyone came…” “I heard Eric in the background…told everyone he was coming with you.” Arial smiles and says, “Brother…you are looking at all that remains of the old days. The JBG reduced to only Rick Jones. The GIR reduced to Tiff, Sara, and Alyssa. Plus some others you remember…” “Charlie? The Wreckrat? What are you still doing around here? We became one gang not long after Jeff and I hooked up.” Eric says, “I had no idea any of this happened…” Sly Fox says, “Just like Rocky you promised you would never leave this area Eric…” He looks down. Tiffany says, “Steph…cut him some slack…at least for now…”
Arial says, “Despite the anger they have you returning is like Jesus rising from the dead once again. Nobody has been able to replace you…I’ve been able to keep us together but barely. Devilgods are about 20.” “How are there so many Imperials?” “From all over the county…plus Polk, Cleveland, and others.” Eric says, “What are you wanting from me then?” Arial says, “Silverfang.” “No…I no longer know…” Tiffany says, “We need Silverfang back…he is the only person that can save us from utter defeat. As we speak the Imperials, Devilgods, and Rat Pack are joining together, all want our land and are willing to join together to end us. We can’t do this without our leader. Silverfang is our leader.” Eric steps back and says, “I’m not Silverfang, he died 4 years ago.” Arial says, “No he didn’t…he just passed out…he’s still alive inside…” “No, he’s dead. I am Eric Silver, star basketball player of the USC.” Sly Fox says, “After all we went thru…how can you say that?” “It’s the truth. Sorry if it hurts to hear it.” He gets back to the rental and says, “Silverfang is dead and buried 6 feet under. He can’t be revived. Get over it.” With that he takes off kicking up allot of dust at them blinding them.
Arial falls to her knees shaking. Tiffany and Sly Fox were at her sides in a second. Arial says, “I thought he’d understand…I…” “It’s not your fault Arial…you did the best you could…he worked hard to forget who he was. There must be a reason for it…let’s give him time. He’s here for the whole summer so we have time.” Eric was far away from them now, tearing up road after road. Thing about it cops had been chased out long ago so he was safe from them. For nearly an hour he wasted gas doing this until he finally returns to his condo to find his father’s car there. Eric was pissed off but his father could help him. He gets out and goes to the door and opens it. He stops dead in his tracks. His mother stood from the couch with his father beside him. Eric says, “Dad…why have you brought this…” “She’s still your mother…” “Says who…” “Please…Eric…don’t be this way…I take blame for everything that happened!” Eric says, “You think that will make up for…” “No I don’t…but I can’t make up for what happened if you won’t let me.” Eric says, “First sis wants me to return to my old life…now I have you here…I don’t want to deal with any of this now…” “Then when? His mother and father, after talking him for a few hours, left him right before night. Eric locks his door behind them and closes all the blinds on his windows. He sits down on the couch and says, “I shouldn’t have came back…I should of…” He stops, in his mind he was at war with his alter ego, Silverfang. Eric says, “I’m not like that anymore…” “Yes we are. We are one the same Eric. I know what happened was hard on you…but people who once called you friends and still do need your help. You can’t turn your back on them…” “This isn’t my fight. I can’t just show up and everything will be better.” “Yes you can…you know for a fact Rocky is dead. You are the only one who can help them.” If you can’t tell Eric is actually having a mental breakdown. The doorbell goes off and Arial’s voice is heard yelling, “Brother! Please, open the door!” Silverfang says, “Are you going to leave her out there?” “I know why she is here…I don’t want to hear it.” “Are you going to abandon everything you once believed in and stood by with your life? Are you actually willing to do that?” Before he realized it Eric stood in front of the door unlocking it. Eric opens the door to look at her. In his mind Silverfang says, “She needs you more than anyone else. She can’t help them anymore…she isn’t strong enough nor skilled enough to do it. You are Eric…we are…” Arial hugs him tightly not even speaking. Eric says, “Sis…” He walks her back in and goes to the couch sitting her down and himself. Eric says, “He’s right…” Arial looks up at him. Eric says, “Silverfang I mean…” Arial looked worried knowing what that meant. Eric says, “I promised I would protect you from everything, even if it meant dying to do so. I won’t turn back on that promise. I need to get back home…to my old room…” Arial says, “Eric…” “Not Eric anymore Arial.” Arial smiles and says, “Silverfang…I was beginning to think you actually died…” “Not even bullets can kill me…” Both leave in the rental getting to his original home. He and Arial enter, Eric goes up to his mother hugging her tightly, he says, “I’ve returned mother…after 4 years I finally have returned.” She hugs him back happily. Eric pulls off and races upstairs to his old room. Entering he saw it was exactly how he left it, except no dust. He goes into his closet and pulls out a shoe box. Arial stood at the door smiling. Eric says, “I will need your help Arial…” “My name is Xena.” Eric smiles as she walks up to him. In a second he was stripped down to his boxers, he pulls out the old clothes and everything. Eric puts on the old clothes finding they fit better than ever. Eric sits down as Xena applies the face-paint he wore 4 years ago. Xena remembered it acutely and does it perfectly. Silverfang checks and says, “you remembered.” “How could I forget. Whenever I was scared your face would appear in my mind reminding me of the strength I had within.”
Silverfang rises and applies a few other things he once had. Now he stood ready wearing a black muscle shirt, silver khaki's, and a silver trench coat. On his hands he had driving gloves without the finger parts. He wore the boots instead of sneakers. Silverfang rolls his eyes up into his head giving the once fearful look he knew so well. Xena forced herself to only look away so not to become afraid. He says, “My bike…?” “I learned how to keep it good for your return. It’s as good as new. Painted to your preference.” “Thank you Xena.” Silverfang now walks downstairs. His mother and father stood amazed. His mother happy, his father just shocked. Silverfang says, “I’ve ran from my past for the last time. Silverfang will run no more! Mother…you were right all along.” With that Silverfang raced outside. Xena was shortly behind him. Xena races ahead of him and brings his bike out to him, a dirt bike tricked out to his design. With it Xena brings her own bike. Silverfang says, “That was Arachnid’s bike?” “She told me to take her place. So I have.” Silverfang starts up and says, “Imperial, Rat Pack, and Devilgods alike. You have met your maker!” He races off with Xena behind her. They get to North Point where they had waited. Upon him arriving all rise with a smile. Silverfang stops slowly and raises his arms up. He says, “No more running! We must now join together and exterminate them all!”
All were ecstatic to see that he returned. Silverfang says, “We need Medusa back…Wreckrat as well…Sly Fox, don’t think you are excluded.” Medusa smiles and says, “She’s not gone…just resting…give me a few minutes.” Within 30 minutes everyone stood as they once did. Only difference was they were all friends. Silverfang turns sharply sensing someone approaching. 5 limos pull up behind them, Xena says, “Imperials!” Only one door opens and a single individual steps out, a female. She starts laughing as she saw Silverfang before her. Silverfang says, “What’s so funny scank?” “How dare you clown!” Xena says, “Silverfang is no clown Alexandria!” “Silverfang? He’s a washed up piece of shit.” Silverfang says, “Really? Want to prove that?” From the limos the Imperial get out, the limos leave. Silverfang revs up and says, “This is our land! We’d rather die than see you own it!” Silverfang charges straight at them, all jump out of the way not wanting to get harmed. He turns around and starts circling them at a fast speed. Dust picked up quickly. He jumps off with ease having his bike land on it’s side on a grass patch. From his trench coat 2 night sticks appear, he charges into the gang landing punishing blows to each he met until the smoke disappeared and he stood next to Xena again on his bike.
All around Anastasia her gang laid defeated. Only a few were left. A limo was coming up, Silverfang charges ahead making them jump out of the way, he jumps onto the limo and over it before the driver crashes into a light pole. He comes back to them to where Alexandria laid trying to get up. Silverfang says, “No bullet can stop me…no weapon can stop me…Silverfang never died and never grew weak.” He brings one of his nightsticks down across her head knocking her out then takes care of the rest of her gang. Xena smiles at this, the rest stood in awe of his power. He says, “Take her and do as you wish. Show to the Devilgods and Rat Pack Silverfang has returned and has done to Anastasia of Imperial.” Anastasia wakes up as they were dragging her up, she says, “How can you be this powerful?” “You should have learned history before attempting the future.” Anastasia bows her head in complete defeat as they carry her away to do as they pleased.
