How it all beganIn twenty-first-century America, a group of the nation's most wealthy young men came together under a common belief that the best state of humanity's existence was under a patriarchal society. But not just any type of patriarchy, but thee Patriarchy. The Patriarchy was a social system that extended beyond the typical forms of past patriarchies. But to achieve such a state in society would require an unabundant amount of change that would surely meet resistance at every turn.
And so, a partnership was made between these men. Through the collectivization of political power, public power, international resources, connections, and billions of dollars, a singularity of massive power was formed in the first meeting of Founding Patriarchs.

At first, the change was subtle, and you couldn't be blamed for not noticing. A replaced police chief here, a new council member there, and maybe a new professor over there. All of it was pretty much normal, and at worst, an eyebrow or two was raised over the sexist remarks of one of them. But all in all, society in the US continued as usual. At the same time, the claws of the Founding Patriarchs began to creep into society slowly.
With time, the Founding Patriarchs continued to put pressure on society, slowly replacing leadership from the bottom up in society. Schools would continue to grow more blatant in their lessons about female inferiority slowly. Judges and police were bribed to favor a man's side over a woman. And soon, in even the most liberal of regions, senators and representatives known for sexual harassment, assault, and corruption, were getting elected.
By the time upper levels of government were being infiltrated by the Founding Patriarchs, it was too late for women. Every court case was getting dismissed by new judges, and every women's rights protest was put down forcefully by police.
After a good number of years, the Founding Patriarchs decide that enough support was established to finalize their dream. Only about 65% of the nation's males were estimated to be compliant with the change. Of that, only half were entirely ready to embrace it. But through the strategic placement of leaders and social engineering, most citizens would perceive the support as much higher and would feel pressured to go along.
On February 22nd 20XX, representative Charles Maximillian from California had proposed a new bill to Congress, stating in front of everyone, "This bill rests on the great truth that a woman is not equal to a man, that submissive subordination to the superior gender is her natural and normal condition. This bill, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth."
By the next day, the bill passed both houses of Congress and was signed by the president of the united states.
The civil unrest was unparalleled and would've become a civil war if it wasn't for the careful planning of the Founding Patriarchs. By the time the bill was being proposed to Congress on live TV, the national guard and police were already on standby for marshal law. The next three months of civil unrest would be known as The Patriarchy's Rise, and on May 3rd, victory for the Patriarchy was declared.
With the bill passed and order restored, the federal government began drafting up the new laws and declarations for how society in the US would work. If a state government wished to alter or expand upon the laws in their territory slightly, they were gladly allowed.
The Patriarchy Act From this point, onwards all members living together shall be designated as a House Every House must have a designated Head of the Hosue or Patriarch If a house does not have a Patriarch chosen within 2 weeks of being notified by the local government, outside non-Patriarchs shall be granted permission to claim Patriarchy of the house. Members may only leave the House if given permission, or if being given by the House Patriarch to another House, or by the conceiving of a new House. The Patriarchy must go to a legal male if one is is a member of the House If there are no legal males available, then and only then, may a female claim the title, though the period of claiming Patriarch is reduced to 1 week. From this point on, all rights designated for women are null and void. If a woman conceives a child and is not under a male Patriarch, the father of the child may claim the woman as a member of his House. If the man is not a Patriarch himself, he may break from his House to form a new one as a new Patriarch. From this point onwards, slavery and indentured servitude shall be legal
