He had done it. Finally after spending 6 years developing it, George had finally finished creating the perfect, inconspicuous product for changing the world. Working in the factory that makes sugar has paid off, because now, after all the science experiments, all the trial and error, all the tests, he had it.
An entire batch of sugar, but not just ANY sugar, no. THIS sugar, had the ability to control minds. He was able to put people in a trance for 20 minutes, give them any order, make them believe any thing, and they would, upon exiting their stupor. It was amazing. He had made 2 full bags, each capable of putting an entire stadium of people to sleep. One, he was keeping for himself. Why wouldn't he? After all the hard work, he surely had no reason to hand it all over to anybody. As for the second bag though. He had big plans.
George was now capable of having an entire city grovel at his feet, but he also knew that keeping the bag would be less fun. The problem is, he had nobody close to give it to. No lover, no family, no friends. In fact, all of his close family and friends are dead now because of his chaotic testing. He was willing to do whatever it took to make this happen.
So now, all George can do is think. What do I do with this second bag? He thought about it for a bit. Pondering his options, making sure that he comes to a good conclusion, when it suddenly hits him.
He looks down to make sure all the sugar is in the right bag, that being the name-brand bag of the company he works for. All George can do is smile, realizing the possibilities ahead of him. He couldn't help but smirk and chuckle at the idea.
He was going to seal the bag at work, place it on the shelf at the nearest grocery store and have a stranger procure his magical sweetener for themselves! Why not cause a little chaos and see how the world decides to use this powerful magic? It was perfect! George had nothing left in this world anyway. He knew his fun was bound to be fast and short lived. However, the idea that someone, maybe a new college student seeking escape from a gripping life, or a husband looking to ditch his wife, could acquire this and put it to use, only made him more giddy at the prospect!
Now, George realized that he couldn't just put the bag on the shelf, he had to ensure that the person looking at the bag or reaching inside it could figure out how the sugar works. What to do, what to do.....
That's it! George figured out that he needed to leave a note inside the bag, letting the opener realize that this bag was something special. He grabbed some spare paper and a pen off of his dysfunctional desk and began writing, being sure to provide as much information about the product as possible.
Once he finished, he kissed it, stuffed it inside with the sugar, and began preparing everything in his mind. Tomorrow was his next day at work, and he had to be positive that everything goes according to plan.
The excitement was too big, he thought he might not sleep tonight! Nonetheless, he put everything away, went into his room and crawled into bed. He knew that despite the pressure of the situation, he had to execute and make it happen. The world was gonna change, and he couldn't wait to see which lucky guy or girl will get a hand on this, but that's for the future. He went to bed, a smile on his face.
