“Steve,” Dave said, coming into my office, “I need you to sign this capital expenditure form, please.”

“For?”

“An IBM PS/2 running OS/2 server so that we can run Microsoft SQL. Greg’s at a point where we need more than just a test PC to work on the database conversion.”

“OK. We discussed that, so yes, I’ll sign it.”

I took the form and scribbled my name on the bottom, and initialed the amount and handed it back to Dave.

“Thanks. Don’t forget our conference call at 4:00pm with Ford, Jackson, and Finch.”

“It’s on my calendar. I also reviewed everything Barbara, Cynthia, and Andy sent via cc:Mail. Honestly, the beta is going better than we hoped.”

“Yes, it is. Cindi and her team worked out the pricing schedule for upgrading to the Windows version, and put together a training class. I think Cindi is talking to Elyse right now to get agreement on the pricing.”

“Cool. I’m a bit worried about us being behind schedule on the DOS version,” I said.

“Now that Tasha’s working full-time over the summer, I have her picking up some slack. I wish you had more time, but I guess it’s another eight weeks before you don’t have to leave for a couple of hours three days a week.”

“You could have sent Charlie to Milwaukee,” I said.

“You’ll finish in a day what would take her two days, and they’re a paying customer. And Russian. Even though I lose a day of you on the DOS version of the legal software, it’s worth it overall. I’m getting pretty good at juggling. We’ll need another programmer, but because I would put them on version 4.0, we can wait until Greg finishes his research and prototyping.”

“He’s working with Julia on the overall project plan?”

“Yes. Cindi is as well, because 4.0 is going to be such a huge change, and we’ll need to support two database models for at least one version.”

“At least?”

“Greg is convinced that Microsoft SQL is the future. Oracle is really moving quickly, but they’re just too expensive for us to even think about using their software. Honestly, if we could triple our prices, then Oracle 6 might be the best option. But we’d go out of business if we tried that.”

“Cindi already bitches about the licensing cost interfering with sales to smaller firms.”

“She actually has an idea for what to do about that,” Dave said. “A stripped-down version that we could sell to small law firms like Gwen Meyer’s. The same thing for the medical software - a stripped down version for sole-practitioners. Both would cost significantly less, but would be missing some advanced features.”

“Interesting. Why am I just hearing about this?”

“She only brought it up on Friday. The proposals aren’t formalized yet. It would give us something that BLS doesn’t have. The same is true for the medical software firm up in Madison.”

“I’m intrigued,” I replied. “Let me know when it’s ready to be discussed.”

“I will. I do have a hiring form for you. We need another consultant. We’d put him or her in Los Angeles. There’s enough work there, plus stuff that can be done in the office, to pay for it. Cynthia has really been working hard to drum up business.”

“If the business is there, then I don’t see why not. I assume you’ve talked to Elyse.”

“Kimmy took care of that. Are you going to want to go out to California to do an interview?”

“Yes. I’ll set up meetings with Ford, Jackson, and Finch, and a few other big customers. I’ll probably swing by San Francisco to do that. But I need some time to work out a way for Jolene or Therese to cover my classes at the dojo while I’m gone.”

“What if we work out the timing with our release of the Windows version? That’s set for September 1st.”

“Hmm. The following Monday is Labor Day. I’m willing to fly that day, and Sensei Jim is coming back to the dojo on the 6th, which would mean I wouldn’t need coverage. Can we wait that long for the consultant?”

“Yes. We’re doing the work here, and sending it to Andy to install. As I said, I’m juggling. But it’s only six weeks, and by the time Cynthia runs ads, and does the first round of interviews, it would be three weeks, minimum. We can make that work.”

“Cool,” I said. “Now, can I get back to work? I have to spend all day in Milwaukee tomorrow.”

“Billable hours, Steve. Those are always good!”

“True,” I agreed, and got back to work.

I had arranged with Jessica and Kara that I would work until 6:15pm to get some extra time in, and when I returned from karate, I set my alarm. When the alarm went off, I walked home and arrived just as everyone was sitting down to dinner. We ate, and then Jessica, Kara, and I went to the ‘Indian’ room for some quiet time together. Birgit was with Matthew, but Albert was with us, sleeping on my chest.

“Chris didn’t ask for anything?” Jessica asked.

“No. Usually she at least hints or teases, this time it was all business. She knows about Albert because Dave told her you were in labor when she called that day to ask for some of my time.”

“She may have just been being polite,” Jessica said. “Or circumspect. Even for someone as forward as she seems to be, it’s a bit much to flirt with a guy whose wife just had a baby! Especially when you can’t see body language or facial expression.”

“True,” I said. “But as far as I can tell, there’s enough work for me to work straight through from 8:30am to about 7:00pm. That allows some time to talk to Mr. Bykov as well. I’ll have to eat while I work, too.”

“That kind of precludes anything, doesn’t it?” Kara asked.

“I can’t spend the night, because I need to meet Jacqui at 5:15am on Wednesday. And given that it’s a one-and-a-half to two-hour drive, that doesn’t leave much time.”

“Then it seems like there’s nothing to discuss at this point,” Jessica said.

“I agree. Before I forget, Dave needs me to go to California to do an interview, and I’ll take a few days to visit customers out there.”

“What about karate?”

“We’re scheduling it for the week of Labor Day, which is when Sensei Jim is coming back. The dojo is closed Labor Day, so I’ll fly out then. Jolene and Therese can handle the Tuesday classes and Sensei will be back in the dojo on Wednesday. He’s actually home on Saturday, so I’ll have a chance to talk to him, but he needs a few days to recover from the time change and travel.”

“How often are you going to go to karate once he’s back?”

“I think four times a week. Wednesdays are out, of course, and I think we’ll reserve Fridays for us. So Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.”

“Good. You’re running on the ragged-edge of burnout right now.”

“Tell me something I don’t know,” I said.

July 18, 1989, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

“«Привет», Viktor Vladimirovich,” I said. (“Hello”)

“Good morning, Stephen Rayevich! How are you?” Mr. Bykov asked.

“Good. Thank you for the tea!” I said, accepting the glass in the silver holder he set in front of me.

“How are things with your family?”

“Very good. My new sons are quite healthy!”

“Yes, your very curious relationships are the source of much conversation amongst the people in Moscow who know you!”

I chuckled, “Of that, I have no doubt!”

We spoke for about fifteen minutes before I excused myself so that I could go find Chris and get started on the work that she needed. Fortunately, she’d faxed the specifications to me so that I could be prepared. I’d spent the drive up mulling over in my mind how I’d tackle the issues and had a good plan when I waddled into her office and gave the club greeting.

“I see you haven’t forgotten me!” she said mirthfully, her eyes twinkling.

“How could I forget the President of Penguins Anonymous?” I chuckled. “I need to get to work right away. I already used up fifteen minutes with Mr. Bykov.”

“Did you have any questions about the specification?”

“Just the ones I asked you on the phone. I’ll get to work and get something rough put together and you can decide if we’re on the right track. I’d appreciate it if lunch was here at noon.”

“I’ll take care of that!”

I went to the next office and turned on the terminal. I logged in and got to work. I got into my zone quickly and didn’t stop for nearly three hours when I felt serious pressure on my bladder. I got up and went to use the bathroom then went back to the office and assessed my progress. I was ahead of where I needed to be, but that assumed that the specification actually matched what Chris wanted, and there was no guarantee. I’d seen that happen before - what the customer actually wanted didn’t match the spec, even after a thorough discussion. Chris brought in Chinese food a few minutes later.

“Let’s go over this while we eat,” I suggested.

She came to sit next to me and we talked through what I’d done, how it worked, and how it compared to what she actually wanted. It was close.

“So this number is the projected expenditure of the part, and this is the total we have on hand, and this is the suggested order size?” she asked, pointing to the very rough report I’d generated.

“Yes. The only thing I thought about was that instead of just a report, you’d want some kind of warning on the inventory screen as well as the repair order so you would know you were running low on parts. Otherwise, you could possibly run out depending on when you ran this order report.”

“That makes sense. Are you going to be able to do that today?”

“I think so. What I’ve done so far seems to be what you wanted, so I’ll have time. I planned to be here until around 8:00pm anyway.”

We finished eating and I got back to work on the programs, stopping only for a bathroom break and to drink a bottle of Coke. By the time the pizza arrived for our dinner, I was nearly done. I finished while we were eating, and asked Chris to test the software while I wrote some basic documentation. She was back about twenty minutes later.

“I’d say it does exactly what we need it to do, and the red indicator on the inventory and repair screens is perfect. It’ll warn the technicians that a part is running low.”

“I have some basic documentation ready, so at this point it’s just a matter of signing for the work.”

I filled out the consulting form and handed it to her to sign. She signed it and handed it back, and I put it into my briefcase. My watch showed 7:30, meaning I’d finished with thirty minutes to spare.

“Do you have to head back right away?” she asked.

“I have to leave soon, but I can stay a few minutes. Why?”

“I was kind of curious about where things stood.”

“I was actually surprised that you didn’t flirt over the phone like you usually do.”

“When Dave said that your wife was in labor, that kind of gave me pause. Combine that with the fact that you guys were having problems, and I wasn’t sure where things stood. So I kept it professional.”

“That’s what I guessed. I suppose the question is, what are you looking for?”

“Right now? To get laid. I mean, I could take my chances and pick up a guy in a bar or club, but there’s no guarantee it would be any good, not to mention that’s kind of risky. I’ve gone out on dates, but the guys I’ve met have been pretty lame. I’m actually considering moving, because Milwaukee isn’t cutting it.”

“Where to?”

“I’m thinking Colorado. I’ve always wanted to live there, but obviously I’d have to find a job. I have enough money saved that I can do it, even if I didn’t have a job when I moved. I’m sure I can find something. I guess it’s just a matter of working up my courage. So you COULD, just not tonight?”

“I could, yes, but my schedule is pretty insane all the way until mid-September because I’m running the karate school until my master returns from Japan. And that’s in addition to work and family.”

“Are you avoiding me?” she asked.

“No, not at all. Honestly, I really am that busy. I’ve had to put so many things on the back-burner and I feel like I’m juggling chainsaws right now.”

“OK,” she said, sounding disappointed. “I’ll let you get on your way home. Maybe next time.”

“Maybe,” I agreed.

Chris walked me to my car, we hugged, and then I headed back to Chicago.

July 19, 1989, Chicago, Illinois

“ABC News has footage of the crash of that United flight in Sioux City, Iowa,” Elyse said when I arrived home.

We watched the video of United Airlines Flight 232 crashing in a fiery explosion as the crew tried to make an emergency landing after all of the hydraulics had been destroyed by an engine explosion.

“How many people survived?” I asked.

“At least 180!”

“In that fiery explosion? Wow. It’s nice to see SOME survivors from a crash for once.”

“Dinner!” Veronica called.

After dinner, my wives and I went to the ‘Indian’ Room with Birgit and Albert.

“Next week we go back to counseling,” Jessica said.

“Family and individual?” I asked.

“Yes. I was allowed two weeks of respite when I had Albert, but that’s it. If we don’t go back, I violate the terms of my reinstatement, and there is no way I’m letting THAT happen!”

“Me either! I’ve actually missed our sessions with Doctor Green.”

“They have been very helpful,” Kara said.

“Are we all doing OK?” I asked.

“I think so,” Kara said. “It’s been really nice to spend time with Jessica these last few weeks. We never had that kind of time before, but since she’s home because of the pregnancy and I’m not in school, we’ve spent a lot of time together.”

“I think so too,” Jessica said. “We’re all communicating better and we’ve resolved every issue without any real conflicts. We still have a ways to go, but I think we’re all happy.”

“I agree, but I don’t want to get complacent about it. We’re going to run into trouble at some point, and, honestly, I’m likely to be responsible for a good part of it.”

“I think the key is just staying watchful,” Jessica said. “And if we’re open and honest with each other, we can solve any problems that we face. As for responsibility, I don’t think you should blame yourself in advance!”

“I suppose, but isn’t that part of staying watchful? Being mindful of the potential to create problems and doing our best to avoid them, or at least resolve them when they arise rather than let them fester?”

“There is one relatively important unresolved issue that we need to deal with, Tiger.”

“I’m pretty sure you’re referring to Abbie, but I’m not sure there’s anything I can do about that. I’m guessing Kara filled you in on the conversation we had in the sauna?”

“Yes, and I’m sorry none of us said anything to you about it. We thought you knew.”

“I did know,” I sighed. “I just didn’t understand what I knew. And I think I made the problem worse by telling her how I felt about her. I didn’t think it through because I didn’t realize what she wanted, and I said some things that probably encouraged her. I feel bad about it.”

“And that’s what we need to resolve,” Jessica said. “How YOU feel about it. Elyse told you that you have a responsibility to yourself, and that’s true. You also have one to us, to Elyse, and to our children. Anything you could be to Abbie has to take all of that into account, AND has to come after all of us in terms of priorities. Which means you probably can’t give her anything close to what she wants. And that’s what’s making you feel bad.”

“I almost feel like I led her on,” I said.

“You might have,” Jessica said. “But you were being you. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. You truly care about her. She saw that and reacted to it. Her reaction is HER issue, Tiger, not yours. She spent some time talking to each of us, especially Jennifer and Josie, and we have some insights that might help you now, and in the future.”

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 55 The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living

February 3, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “This may be our last talk,” I said to Doctor Mercer. “Why?” “You remember the power struggle I talked about?” “Yes.” “I’ve decided to kill her instead!” I laughed. “I’m glad you laughed, because if I thought you were serious, I’d have to report it!” “I AM serious. But I also won’t do it!” “Then you aren’t serious. What happened?” I had no secrets from Doctor Mercer at this point, save my Outfit connections, so I told her the story from start to...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 68 Abbie Michelle and Crystal

March 29, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “You could have knocked me over with a feather,” I said to my wives as we sat in the sauna just before lunchtime on Sunday. They had finally come downstairs about 11:15am and asked me to join them in the sauna. I had been sitting in my study typing furiously into my journal trying to sort out everything Abbie had told me. “If you think about it, it really does make sense,” Kara said. “You taught her how to love and how to be loved.” “I know, but it still...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 61 Michellersquos Diagnosis

February 27, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “So that teasing yesterday?” I asked as I posed. “Was it teasing?” Siobhán smirked. “But be quiet!” I chuckled and nodded. The session was similar to the last one, and when I finished, I got dressed. “So?” I chuckled. “It’s up to you. You’ll have to agree to my request to find out what happens!” “Why do I feel like I’m being set up?” I grinned. “I don’t know. Why?” “Because I think I AM being set up!” I laughed. “We’ll finish the karate painting...

May 26, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “You did the right thing,” I said when she finished the story. “You had no choice. You had to defend yourself.” “Yes, but I stabbed him in the eye!” “I know. Maybe you need to talk to someone else about that besides me. Do you want me to call your priest for you?” “Doctor Bethany called him. He’ll come by after lunch. That’s what I asked her to arrange.” “You told the police everything?” I asked. “Yes. Just how I told you. And they took pictures. It was...

January 1, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Well, THAT puts a completely new spin on things,” I said. “It does,” Jennifer agreed. “She had thought about you as a possibility, but when we talked it through, we knew she could never ask because of what happened with Carla. And now it’s a moot point, obviously.” “I told Jess and Kara this, but Katt and Mikael are having trouble conceiving, and the tests show it’s most likely him. They asked me to help, if you will, when I was in Sweden. I had to turn...

May 16, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Seriously?” Jessica asked as we headed for the dojo. “Yes. Seriously.” I’d arrived home with just enough time to dress for karate, so we hadn’t been able to talk before we started our walk. “But why? Did she change her mind?” “No. I discovered a very little girl hiding behind that ‘pretentious bitch’ exterior. Kara, I apologize in advance for saying this, but everything I learned from messing things up with Becky, I’m going to use to help Samantha. All of...

March 8, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Michelle and I were sitting in the steam-filled sauna with sweat pouring from our bodies. I had been surprised by her request, but honored it, and as she’d asked, we’d just sat quietly for the first ten minutes. Eventually she broke the silence. “Did you think about what I asked you to?” “Yes. And I think I’ve solved the question of hugs. I don’t hug my guy friends. I don’t hug my parents. Other than my kids, I only hug women who have been, are, or are...

February 16, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “So, what’s the topic for this afternoon?” I asked as Michelle and I sat down on floor pillows in the ‘Indian’ room. “It’ll probably be all over the place again, if that’s OK.” “It’s your dime,” I chuckled. “You said something and I don’t want to wait two weeks to discuss it. The difference between intimacy and sex.” I smiled, “You think they’re the same thing, right?” “Yes. That’s what I was taught, but you obviously don’t agree and I’d go crazy...

May 15, 1992, Glencoe, Illinois “Join me in my study, if you would,” Noel Spurgeon said when we finished our dessert. It had been an interesting evening. Samantha and I had talked for a bit before we’d been summoned to dinner. The meal had been prepared by a chef and was served by a white-coated young man. Again, this was a far cry from Lois at the van Hoeks’ house. What wasn’t a far cry was the fact that I was having dinner with a man who knew I was going to be sleeping with his daughter...

May 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Monday was turning out to be a LONG day. After my run and talk with Gina, and my talk with Elyse, I had a full day at the office scheduled. First was our leadership meeting in the morning, and then I had status meetings with each team. June 15, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Dave had hired two programmers, and to the delight of Doctor Bauer, both had come from IIT. Scott Michelle and Amber

I knelt down next to Mama in the bath and ran a scrunchie across her shoulders. Her head was back against the little purple pillow, one of those that suctions onto the side of the tub. I bought it for her from Wal-Mart. She had a scented towel across her eyes and her breaths came in slow and rhythmic succession so I knew she was asleep. I moved the scrunchie across the front of her chest and watched the water and soap flow down over the vast expanse of soft flesh. I dipped the little plastic...

February 4, 1992, Natick, Massachusetts It took me a moment to clear my head after that last comment Cèlia had made, because ‘a’, I HAD thought about that; and ‘b’, I WAS thinking about that. I quickly thought back to that first trip. I hadn’t noticed Cèlia looking at me ‘hungrily’. It had been Cindi who said that. And what Cindi said had set the stage for me to read something into the situation. My reaction had, at first, been the ‘rock star’ or ‘hero worship’ notion. And everything she had...

March 16, 1992 Chicago, Illinois We arrived home from O’Hare just after Elyse brought Abbie and Matthew home from Midway Airport, and just in time for dinner, which Nancy had helpfully prepared. “There’s my other granddaughter!” Nancy said when she saw Birgit. “Hi, Grandma!” Birgit said going over to give her a hug before climbing into her booster seat. “How were the trips?” “Vermont was nice and peaceful,” Kara said. “Except for a certain husband who just HAD to watch NASCAR!” Jessica...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 56 New Employees

February 4, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “You came to bed very late last night, Tiger.” Jessica was standing in the shower and I was leaning against the sink. “Sorry. The conversation just kept going and going.” “What did you talk about?” “Core values. Philosophy. Sin. God. She’s not confused. In fact, quite the opposite. What she is, is curious. Very curious. And not THAT way, O smirking wife!” “Sorry,” Jessica said. “She’s one of the most intelligent, thoughtful young women I’ve ever met....

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 74 The Art of the Deal

May 9, 1992, Chicago and Plainfield, Illinois “I need a sauna,” Kara groaned as we left the dojo. “The weapons test is the hardest one, in my opinion,” I said. “No way,” Kara said. “Sparring next week. Against you!” “I’m going to put you down,” I grinned. “Though I don’t think Sensei will be happy if I pin you to the mat the way you WANT to be pinned!” “OOOH!” Kara giggled. “Nude sparring? You can take me down for sure!” “Why am I NOT surprised that you would think about sex?” Jessica...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 64 A Long Weekend in Vermont

March 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “I think he’s got it sewn up,” I said as Elyse and I walked to the office. “You don’t think Jerry Brown can keep Clinton from getting enough votes to win the nomination outright?” Elyse asked. “I think he COULD, because of California, but even then, Clinton is far enough ahead, and as a center-right Democrat, he’s probably their best bet given the whole Perot thing. Clinton would win at the convention.” “And the affairs?” “Nobody seems to care,” I said....

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 62 Siobhaacuten Callaghan

March 4, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Thanks for calling back,” I said when Keri put Dante’s call through to my phone. “Is there a problem with the project?” he asked. “From a technical standpoint, everything is fine. I’ll be blunt, because that’s how we deal with each other. I need you to stop hitting on my female staff members. And I need you to stop right now.” “Who complained?” “Does it matter? It’s not the first time. I’ve heard it from more than one of my female staff members over the...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 53 Master of the House

January 25, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Well THAT is not what I wanted to hear,” I said, coming back into the sunroom. “What?” Jessica asked. “Dustin Brady died in an accident about four years ago.” “Who?” Abbie asked. “The photographer who took photos of the house after it was remodeled. And who Carla worked for.” “Why try to track HIM down?” Elyse asked. “We’re pretty sure he’s the culprit,” I said, being circumspect because of the kids. “The evidence is anecdotal, but it makes sense....

My Crazy Life 1 Michelle

I have written a lot of stories, and I believe I have a creative imagination. Because most of the stories are my fantasies, my main male characters tend to resemble me. This might quickly lead an astute reader to confusion, because in the various stories, my wife is either a nymphomaniac, or she's dead, or she left me for either a younger or an older man. My only answer is that to some extent all of those descriptions of her are true.Actually, we have been married more than thirty years. A lot...

March 21, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “You seem to be doing a good job with your new friends,” Jessica said as we walked to karate. “I think so, yes. Michelle will be here tomorrow for our usual Sunday afternoon chat, and I already told you about Gina.” “She just tries to wind you up with that stuff!” “Oh, I know,” I chuckled. “And I give as good as I get. I have plenty in reserve!” “What about your artist friend? The one you’ve adopted.” “You know how you girls say I give off a vibe? I’m...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 45 Decisions

January 12, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Hi, Sweetheart,” I said when she answered the phone on Sunday morning. “I’m sorry I had to head home so quickly after the announcement. And I’m sorry to take you by surprise that way.” “A normal person wouldn’t have the kind of physical reaction I did.” “You are NOT a normal person!” Bethany said with a laugh. “That isn’t exactly a revelation!” I laughed. “I totally understand why you wanted it to be a surprise. I wasn’t upset. Jessica’s decision...

This is harder than I thought!” “Ooh, I hope so!” Kara giggled. “Much harder!” “Will you two be serious for a moment,” Jessica pleaded. “Sorry,” I said. “I thought a bit of levity might help.” “Steve!” Kara said forcefully. “Stop apologizing. January 18, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “Breakfast with the guys, karate, a date with Kajri, and a date with Crystal? You have a full day, Tiger!” We were walking to the hospital just before 5:00am on Saturday morning. Kara was still home in bed, because she’d decided that -2°F was too cold to get out of a warm bed. Jessica sympathized and told her to stay there. “I figured because this was one of the days you traded for to get our time together at Christmas, it made sense. Kara had already...

Except you.” “Tell me I’m wrong. You told me you had, how did you put it, ‘freedom’. It was clear you wanted my roomie, and if I hadn’t become upset, you probably would have gone for it. A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 10 Journey

August 2, 1991, New York City, New York “Steve!” I heard as I came out into the arrival hall at LaGuardia Airport at 5:00pm. I saw a well-tanned blonde girl waving and to my shock, realized it was Lyudmila. She looked every bit of what I thought a ‘California Surfer Chick’ would look like. Sun-bleached blonde hair, pulled back in a loose ponytail, with stray strands hanging down over her ears; no makeup; a colorful, loose-fitting ‘crop-top’; what appeared to be a bikini rather than a bra,...

The Secret Life of Michelle

If anyone had ever looked at Michelle, while passing her on the street, you’d never guess how interesting this girl was. She was a long haired brunette, with a fairly athletic build, and a great smile. Michelle was well liked among her friends at the Hamilton Heights Academy, and one of the better students who’d be graduating this coming May. Michelle’s friends were generally the sons of wealthy aristocrats, and as such they never really got into much trouble, so Michelle was...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 27 Alrsquos Solution

November 26, 1991, Chicago, Illinois It had been difficult not to say anything to anyone about what I’d discovered, and I most certainly could not write anything about Al’s revelation in my journals. I did spend some time writing my thoughts and reactions, but in a separate file, on a separate disk, with a separate password. I put that diskette in my locked desk drawer at work. I had thought of simply erasing the file after I’d got it all out of my system, but as I’d said to my wives, I...

January 1, 1992, Chicago, Illinois I was surprised to hear the phone ringing at 12:10am on New Year’s and went to my study where I could get a bit of quiet. I shut the door and answered. “Happy New Year!” Katy O’Connor gushed into the phone. “Happy New Year to you, too! I wondered who would be calling me now!” “Well, I have two pieces of news. And surprised you’re going into the office!” “I’ve missed too many days walking with you and too many days of work! A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 35 The Root of the Problem

December 16, 1991, Chicago, Illinois “I have some analysis for you, if you’d like to hear it,” Doctor Mercer said. “I’m all ears.” “I think we can trace all of this, in fact, practically all of your interior life, back to your mother and your sister. In what I would call a distortion of the traditional archetypes, your mother is equated to bad, cold, and anti-sex, while your sister is equated to loving, understanding, and sexy. This means, I think, that for you, at least subconsciously,...

And I’ll get the signatures by ASKING, not by THREATENING. Look, the management team will all sign. Heck, they’re all shareholders! So of course they’ll sign. A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 26 A Bold Tactic

November 23, 1991, Chicago, Illinois It was 2:00am and we were still talking. Jessica had cried a lot, and we’d cuddled her. Then we’d talked more, and she’d cried more. And we’d cuddled more. While talking, the clouds in my mind parted a bit and I saw some light. She had her own incest issues to deal with, and reading about my own ‘descent’, so to speak, into incest had triggered her issues. “Jess, we should probably get some sleep,” I said. “You don’t hate me?” “For what? You didn’t do...

Michelle and Akeemas Dark Journey

Michelle and Akeema’s Dark Journey Part 1By Shabbadew2002Contact me @ [email protected]:This story starts off slow, but keep reading.  If you enjoy the sexual humiliation of women you will get off on this tale. It might also be described as ?politically incorrect?.  It features the sexual abuse and degradation of black women.  The ?N? word, and other offensive racial terms are used. This, in no way, reflects the values of the author who, in reality, disapproves of such language.  This...

December 7, 1991, Mason, Ohio “Are you going to say anything? Or just sit there with your mouth hanging open?” I took a sip of my Jack Daniels and swallowed. “Sorry, that just kind of came out of left field!” “Your wives haven’t cracked down on you, have they?” “No, but there’s an issue.” “I have rubbers,” she smirked. “I didn’t expect you to bring any.” I chuckled, “Not that. Once her parents had left Michelle with me she went inside and immediately stripped as her slave contract required. We hadn’t had much time together with all the activities around her high school graduation, so I hadn’t seen her naked in two weeks, and it took me a long minute to just stand and admire her beautiful young body. “Well, what are we going to do first?” She asked. It contains a lot of ballbusting and teasing, chastity and female dominance. A lot of the inspiration to write came from one of my favorite OD writers, Peter, who should be linked to somewhere on this site. Anyway, enjoy my first work and let me know what you think. Michelle Part 6 Punishment

My only wonder was whether Michelle had similarly set a trap for me, since she knew that the house was monitored by my computer system. Regardless, I told her I had a two-day conference and that I would fly out early the next morning. I allowed her to sleep in, for her sake, I said, and drove myself to the airport. I did take a flight, but only a lesson with a friend of mine who was still trying to help me get enough hours to complete my license requirements. When we landed we went to...
