Dan, Karen and Wendy sat in the outer room connected to Doctor Carla Mackenzie’s office waiting for their appointed meeting.

“I can understand your anxiousness to be pregnant. I’ll hope for the best for you. How are you feeling Karen?”
“I think I feel just as nervous and excited as Wendy as if it was happening to me.”
“That’s good to hear you’re experiencing the same emotions because this is your pregnancy too.”
“Wendy you mentioned that your son is Jake Campbell.’
“Yes, Jake is my son.”
“I have an appointment with him on Monday to discuss his recovery from his concussion.”
“I hope that I can be there with him so that I can help him too.”
“You certainly can, provided you wear the same sexy dress for me,” Carla smiled.

“I should adjust the appointment time so that we can have more time if needed.”
