The rest of the week was chaotic beyond belief and the Dream haunted Sean and Megan. The two boys who had been forced to pick the fight with AJ and Scott, had let everyone know what had happened. They had been in the thick of the whole episode, after all. Unfortunately, the boys also embellished what had happened just a bit.

The Ford Bronco stopped in a parking space in the high school parking lot on the third day at school. AJ turned the key and the big engine rumbled to a stop. There was silence in the vehicle as the six of them looked at the high school.

"Driving is a lot better than riding the bus," Sean said noncommittally.

Sean didn't really care about driving or riding the bus. He was concerned about what the new day would bring. The previous day had been chaotic, but that wasn't the core of his concern. Lian's reaction to his decisions the day before weighed on his mind. The Dream the night before was even more troubling. The problem was, the Dream didn't give a clue as to his current path or the bearing on the decisions he had made.

The Dream was again in sets of three, the same as previous Dreams, but that was where the similarity seemed to end.

The first 'window' was supposed to be in the past. The earth was shattered by a giant, hammering blow. It was impossible to tell what had caused the blow. Lava spewed and the land rippled like tsunamis crossing the ocean.

The second 'window' was supposed to be something current, something that was happening now. The second scene looked like something seen from outer space. The peaceful, blue green gem of Earth floated in the blackness of space. Lazy clouds drifted across the land masses and the oceans. It had no relation to the first scene.

The third 'window' was supposed to be something in the future, but the view seemed to be nearly the same as the first window. The only similarities to future visions he had previously received of the third window was the hazy, not quite complete possibility that the image was real. The image was nearly the same as the first window, except for the haziness. The earth shuddered and volcanoes erupted around the world. Water and stone alike were vaporized in heartbeats and the world darkened before disappearing in a cloud of ash and rubble.

Sean had talked to Megan, silently, during the long drive to school. Megan had experienced the same Dream, and it had shaken her as badly as it had Sean. Neither of them were closer to a 'why' for the Dream they had received than they were at the beginning of the drive. They had even speculated that Lian's relating what she had Dreamed had caused theirs.

"No kidding!" Bell laughed, from the back seat, in answer to Sean's comment about driving being better than riding the bus.

Sean's and Megan's silence on the drive in had put a damper on all their spirits. Bell was trying to liven it back up. It was one of her unspoken roles in their group.

"I wonder what's going to happen today?" Bell asked, while unbuckling her seat belt.

"There's no telling," Lilly said from the back seat.

"I don't understand," Scott said. "We've been going to school for all these years. We've had more turmoil in the last two days than we've had in the last ten years."

"Obviously, it's all Megan's and Sean's fault," Bell said confidently. "I vote we fire them both."

"I could only wish," Sean said laughing, more than half serious.

"I'll second that," Megan said with a frown as she opened the door. She was having trouble shaking the somber mood.

There was a surprise when they approached the front of the school. Students hanging around the front steps started elbowing each other. The normal buzz of conversation abruptly rose in volume then solidified in a low chant of, "Me-gan, Me-gan, Me-gan, Me-gan, Me-gan."

Megan looked around in shock for a moment, looking for the reason for the chant. All the eyes were on her.

Megan edged behind Sean slightly and asked Bell, "Why are they looking at me?"

"I don't think it's a bad thing," Bell replied, in a guarded tone of voice.

"I think you're a celebrity," Scott said over his shoulder as he continued walking towards the front entrance to the school. He was walking on Sean's other side.

Joel Fisher, the guy that had tried to fight Scott, hurried up to them.

"I hope you're not mad at me," Joel said breathlessly. His face was scrunched up with fear and concern.

"Why would we be mad at you?" Scott asked. "Yesterday wasn't your fault. I told you that. You told the truth in Mr. Casey's office. That's what's important."

If anything, Scott's words only seemed to intensify Joel's concern.

"Everyone was asking about what happened," Joel said defensively. "I kind of told them what happened. Benny, the guy that swung at AJ, he kind of did too. The, um ... between the two stories ... ah, it kind of grew and got out of proportion," he said with a wince.

Lilly sighed before asking, "How bad is it, Joel?"

Joel winced again at the question, but he answered after a brief hesitation.

"They kind of think that Megan is Wonder Woman in the flesh," Joel said, blushing.

Joel's shoulders hunched in as if expecting to be hit when he looked at Megan from the corner of his eye. His look of awe was very obvious.

Bell snorted.

Scott made a strangled sound like he was trying to swallow hiccups.

Lilly and AJ looked at each other before bursting out in laughter. Bell and Scott couldn't hold their laughter in once their friends lost it and started laughing with them.

Sean and Megan looked at each other in confusion. That wasn't a natural state for either of them and they didn't like it.

"What's going on?" Megan demanded.

Lilly threw her arms around Megan and hugged her. Bell just rested a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Megan, you're ... gasp, going to ... gasp, have a fun year," Lilly managed to get out.

"I don't get it," Sean said.

Sean's forehead was wrinkled in thought as he tried to figure out what was going on. He and Megan were very smart in a lot of ways and knew a lot about a lot of subjects. They didn't know anything about crowds of people and the fickle nature of a crowds mood.

"Sean," AJ gasped, getting better control of his laughter, "Megan is the hero of the school, now. Everyone with any kind of problem, especially with bullies, will be asking Megan for help."

Megan shook her head before dropping it into her cupped hands. "This is going to cause so many problems," she moaned.

"Why should it cause problems?" Joel asked, mystified. Everyone had forgotten about him standing there.

"Joel," Sean said, chuckling slightly and clapping him on the shoulder. "We only get one year in a regular school. All the rest of our school years have been home-school. We were really, really hoping, and looking forward to some, ah, normalcy."

Joel nodded his head doubtfully and said, "I guess I can understand that." It was clear from his tone of voice that he didn't.

"They were trying for just being one of the crowd," AJ explained drily. "Even Wonder Woman had an alter ego so she could lead a normal life. How would Wonder Woman lead a normal life if everyone knew who she was when she wasn't working?"

The light of understanding turned on behind Joel's eyes and he nodded again. "Geese, that would be, um, impossible."

"That's right," Sean said thoughtfully, considering ways to defuse the situation.

Sean really did want a normal school year, and he knew Megan did too. Also, notoriety was dangerous at this stage in his and Megan's life. He wished nothing had been said about what Megan had done, but Lian had taught him that wishing was a waste of time. Then a solution dawned on him, and he smiled.

Scott and AJ noticed his smile. Scott groaned and asked, "What are you planning?"

"I'll tell you later," Sean said, smiling at his friends. "I need to okay something with Lian first."

AJ shook his head doubtfully and said, "Have your arguments ready. I'm not sure if she will agree with anything after last night."

"She will," Sean said confidently.

"What are you thinking about?" Megan asked, hopefully.

Sean sighed before answering. "We can't change what is already said and done. Right?" Sean asked.

Megan shook her head.

"Events have already happened and repercussions have been started. The results are moving forward. We can't change what has happened, so, all we can do is change the direction that the results are going," Sean explained.

"And?" Megan asked impatiently.

"And, we give everyone something different to focus on besides your Wonder Woman skills," Sean replied grinning.

"I'll Wonder Woman, you!" Megan promised. "What the hell are you talking about, Sean."

"Joel said everyone thinks you are Wonder Woman because of what you did to Bob Clancy and his idiot friend," Sean explained. "So, we prove that it wasn't that big a deal and that anyone can do it."

"And, how will we accomplish this magic trick," Megan asked, curious now because she knew Sean would have a solution. She just didn't understand it yet.

"We make arrangements for Lian to come in to give self-defense classes," Sean said with a grin. "You, Lilly, and Bell will help her, since all three of you are already taking Lian's self-defense classes. It wouldn't be full bore classes like we have. Strictly self-defense. In the meantime, we'll spread the word, with Joel's help, that what you did wasn't a big deal. It was just some self-defense moves that you learned."

Megan nodded slowly and a smile grew on her face. "That might actually work," she said.

"We need to get Lian's agreement, and approval from the school," Sean warned.

"Lian might be a challenge," Megan conceded. "The hardest thing about getting approval from the school will be figuring out when to schedule it."

"Can you just make up classes and schedule them?" Joel asked doubtfully.

"With the right kind of encouragement you can," Megan said with a smile. She grabbed Sean's arm and said, "And, Sean can always provide the right kind of encouragement. Let's get to class. We have to learn about tools today."

Joel followed the six teens up the stairs and into the school. There were calls of, "Good job, Megan," and, "Way to go, girl" ringing out behind them as they entered the building.

They had just sat down in their first period class when they were called to the office. A member of the School Board, a friend of Bob Clancy's father, insisted that the High School follow district policy.

"Everyone involved in a fight, must be punished," Sean heard as they walked into the office. The door to the principal's office was open a couple of inches. "They need to be suspended. They were involved in a fight. It's the rule."

The voice was obviously male, but had an irritating, high pitched screeching sound to it.

"Mr. Slovenes, those students were the victims of a crime. Suspending them would be wrong," Mr. Casey protested angrily. "Wouldn't that be punishing the victims of a crime? What should we do next? Punish the victims of muggings for being mugged?"

"Mr. Casey is right," a sweet, feminine voice said angrily. Sean recognized it as belonging to the senior class counselor, Miss Reynolds. "I've complained about the bullies in this school for the last two years. Bob Clancy was one of the worst of the lot. You wouldn't do anything about it. The school board wouldn't do anything about it when I brought it up in closed session either. Well, someone has done something about it, now, and I won't stand by and see them be punished for it."

"We didn't have proof of anything, before," another male voice protested. Sean thought it was Mr. Stanwood, the Principal, but he wasn't sure because he had only heard the Principal speak once.

"That's because everyone that could testify was too afraid to speak up," Miss Reynolds said heatedly. "Maybe, if they keep the Clancy boy in the hospital long enough, we can get some official action, this time."

"The police got a statement yesterday," Mr. Stanwood pointed out. "There will be official action this time."

"There were official statements to the police last year with that Snyder girl, too," Miss Reynolds said, furious at the memory. "She retracted the statement. I found out later that she retracted it after the Clancy boy 'talked' to her."

The emphasis on the word talk was clear, even through the partially open door.

{That's troubling, } Sean thought to Megan.

{Yeah. We may need to provide some protection, } Megan replied.

Sean looked around the office and saw the secretaries straining to hear what was being said. He leaned over the counter and tapped the desk in front of one of the secretaries.

The secretary jumped and blushed at being caught listening.

Sean smiled in understanding, and sent a wave of calming to her as he said, "Would you let them know that we're here?" His smile broadened into a grin when he continued with, "I think their conversation would be a lot more productive if we were in there."

The secretary grinned back. She had briefly met Sean a few times through the years. Martha sometime brought him to district PTA meetings and school board meetings. She liked the boy. He always seemed to be attentive and interested in everything going on around him. She also knew that removing the Clancy boy from the student body was a good thing for the school.

She nodded and pressed the intercom button on the phone. "Mr. Stanwood, the students that you asked for are here."

Sean could hear the echo of the intercom through the cracked open door.

"Send them in please," Mr. Stanwood answered quickly.

The secretary waved her hand towards the door with a worried smile and mouthed, "Good luck."

Sean mouthed, "Thanks," and augmented the wave of calming he had sent her with a wave of peace and contentment.

The six teens filed into the principal's office. The four adults were sitting in the only chairs, so the teens stood in a row to one side.

"All of you will need to be suspended for fighting," the man that looked and sounded like a weasel announced, as if he were handing down tablets from on high.

Sean ignored him. He calmly looked at the principal and asked, "Mr. Stanwood, is this an official proceeding?"

The principal and Mr. Casey exchanged looks. Mr. Casey winced before nodding. Looking back at Sean, Mr. Stanwood said, "It can be. Why?"

Sean shrugged, like any other teenager, and said, "If this is a legal proceeding, defined as any proceeding that may impact our education, we should be represented by a lawyer, or at least have our parents here. Also, shouldn't there be a recording of the procedure? If this meeting causes a court proceeding, accurate records could save the school district a lot of money. Mr. Casey made a recording of all the proceedings yesterday. He explained that the recording was for the protection of the school, in case anything goes to court."

Mr. Casey nodded and, jumping up, left the office.

Mr. Slovenes said, in his high, whiney voice, "Do you let the students dictate how you run your meetings? No wonder this high school is having so much trouble. I'm glad that I'm not one of the board members who voted to hire you. Your actions won't fall on my shoulders."

"Mr. Slovenes," the Principal said sharply. "Thank you for your clarification. It relieves me to know that I don't have to worry about trying to win your support on the board. Now, if you would, please, hold any further comments until this meeting is officially convened."

Mr. Slovenes harrumphed, but didn't say anything.

Moments later, Mr. Casey returned, and set the voice recorder on the desk. He pressed a button, the red light came on, and he sat back in his chair.

"Thank you, Mr. Casey," Mr. Stanwood said with a hint of a smile. He looked around the room and clearly said into the recorder, "This meeting is convened in the Principal's office at the Prescott High School. The subject of the meeting is the ramifications of students defending themselves when attacked."

"But," Mr. Slovenes sputtered.

Mr. Stanwood fixed the little man with a stern glare and pointed a finger at him. He shut up.

"Attending the meeting is myself, Principal Stanwood, Assistant Principal Casey, Senior Class Counselor Miss Reynolds, and Mr. Slovenes of the Prescott School District School Board," Principal Stanwood said formally. Looking down at a list of names he continued, "Also attending are Sean Flynn, Megan Cavalla, Asija Begay, Scott Plamondon, Lilly Plamondon, and Bellona Sandoval, all senior students at the Prescott High School. The question has been asked, by Sean Flynn, if this is an official meeting."

Dream Weaver Book 3 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 16 The Dream

The banks on the other side of the open water were lined with alligators and snakes. Their eyes were shining in the bright headlight of the boat. The predawn light made it seem that every eye was watching the airboat approach. Even the channels between the little hammocks were choked with writhing masses of snakes. Except one. "Gee, do you think that's where we're supposed to go?" Sean asked sarcastically. "Probably," Rafe answered drily. "This guy doesn't have a firm handle on...

The Coach was even happier with Thursday's practice. He worked with the offense and Sean worked with the defense. The scrimmage at the end of practice was better than Coach Strom had any right to expect. Both the defense and the offense were working well. AJ was working well as the quarterback and he was already developing an affinity with the rest of the backfield. The coach didn't have a lot of hope for the first game, but the season was beginning to look like it wouldn't be a total...

Dream Weaver Book 3 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 13 Childhoods End

Sean and Megan stopped at Mr. Rosella's classroom on their way to lunch on Monday, March 8, 1993. Megan needed to return a book she had borrowed, and she had a question. Megan hoped the answer would resolve an issue their study group had been wrestling with for the last week. She wanted to report the answer during lunch. They filed into the classroom, followed by Lilly, and Scott. Bell and AJ were getting some fruit they would share during lunch. They figured it would save time. Mr. Rosella...

Dream Weaver Book 3 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 2 First School Day

"Hey, Sean," Scott said from the school bus seat behind the boy with the wild red hair. "Why don't you and Megan walk into the school, separate from us, just to see what happens." "What do you mean by 'to see what happens'?" Sean asked suspiciously. Scott was the only person that Sean had met that liked pulling jokes on other people as much as Sean did. Any time Scott wanted someone else 'to see what happened', Sean was suspicious. "Well, the bullies, ah, idiots, um, other...

Dream Weaver Book 3 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 9 Stumbling in the Right Direction

Sean finished reading the books supplied by the coach, and was on the football field before the class was half over. He had mastered the skill of speed reading many years before. Sean's reading speed with near total comprehension ranged between eight hundred and a thousand words per minute, depending on the complexity of the text. He did not consider football rules complex. Sean jogged to the field, and stopped beside the coach. The PE class and the football team were scrimmaging...

Everyone had to change into the uniform required for PE in a locker room. The uniform consisted of a blue t-shirt with white lettering and blue shorts with a white stripe. That, in itself, didn't bother Sean. However, he couldn't help but feel the heightened emotions, and see the guarded body language from many of the other students as they changed. Sean had been able to send and receive emotions to animals since his birth, to the level of actual communication. He had always been able to...

Megan and Sean both Dreamed that night, and it was troubling to both of them. Sean had images of the mountain top where Megan had rescued him, thousands of snakes trying to reach him, and Megan being taken from him. Megan's Dream was just as bad. She also Dreamed of the mountain top, and relived horror of how close she felt she came to failure. At the same time, a dark mass was rushing toward her and she couldn't move fast enough to get out of its way. She could dimly see a dirt road...

Weaver

And now, Weaver. From the corner of his eye, Weaver caught sight of the big fist thundering toward him. It had been years since he'd fought in the ring and maybe he wasn't as fast as he used to be, but he still knew how to react to a haymaker. He slipped under the wild punch and came up inside with a short, hammer-like left shot to the brute's ribcage. Stumbling backward, the big man was surprised at the force of the blow from someone so much smaller than himself. As Weaver plotted his...

The Weaver And The WindChapter 11 The Wind and the Wild

"C'mon Speck, keep up!" We were running what we had come to call the western break. Not really a trail, but a line along the northwestern slope of the valley where the change in angle of the slope caused a thinning of the trees. We ran this trail or another we called the riverside trail every morning. I pumped Light into Speck every time, giving him the exposure and build up that had become traditional for those who bore arms beside us. His speed and stamina was improving, but this was...

Introductions were made and most everyone was seated. They were short one chair. Pappy elected to lean against the wall rather than get an extra chair from his or BB's apartments in the barn. He wanted to know what was going on and wouldn't take a chance of missing something. Though he loved Sean, he still wasn't completely comfortable with this Wizard business and controlling the animals. Sean was sitting in a highchair beside Seth. Martha's motherly manner settled everyone and even...

Sean David Kilpatrick Flynn Book 1 of Wizard A Love StoryChapter 12 Finally Some Answers

Martha got the men settled around the table. Seth had fixed a brace for one of the chairs so Sean's car carrier could hold Sean at table height. Udit chuckled and pointed out that most people just used a highchair for their babies. "Sean's more comfortable this way Mr. Udit," Martha replied with a little irritation in her voice. "This way it seems like it's easier for him to join the conversation with the rest of us," she explained. Her expression started to look sheepish before it...

The Weaver And The WindChapter 22 Voices in the Silent Wood

The Shar were not a quiet people, I discovered, only shy and light sensitive. One of the adaptations that my transformation had given me was excellent night and low light vision. Weaver explained part of it as being an 'extension into the infrared and ultraviolet bands of the spectrum'. Whatever that means! What I could see was more important than what I understood in this case. The lights of SharHom were a pretty purple-lavender that spread from clusters and strips of crystal embedded in...

The Weaver And The WindChapter 8 The Streets of Beletara

Beletara had two things that intrigued me. It sat on the shore of the Summer Sea, and there was actually a guild house for the Wizard's Guild. Having been Declared by Firetree, I was, in theory, a member. That possibility was the extent of my knowledge of the Wizard's Guild. I didn't know if there were dues to be paid, meetings to attend. I didn't even know if there was a secret handshake! We had been passing people headed away from the city regularly since we left the spring, and when...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 5 Protection Details

David's walk through of the Ranch Hand Kitchen confirmed that some power, tainted by the Nightmare, had been at work during their meal. Unfortunately, he couldn't localize the smell to a particular chair or even side of the table. So, they knew that one of the five Wizards was the gray dove. They still didn't know which one. Sean decided that David Stalker should be present for all future meetings with Wizards. He felt that it was crucial to the safety of his family. The Wizards and...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 4 More Questions Than Answers

Brett Stevens turned to look back as his Ram Charger turned from the driveway and picked up speed on the gravel road. All five Magi were in the first Ram Charger and their seconds were following in the other. Both vehicles followed an Arizona state police cruiser. He turned back, facing front. He glared at the police car ahead of them and demanded, "What the hell was that about, Whitcomb?" Karl Whitcomb could only turn his head and glare at the leader of the Americas Council. "Oh, for...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 10 Second Delegation Meeting

The two black Dodge Ram Chargers were not as hesitant about driving into the ranch yard as they had been on the previous visit. Once again, Sean had warning of the impending arrival of the little caravan from his feathered friends. The 'family' was arrayed on the ranch house porch awaiting the Delegation. David was included in this meeting to screen for possible Nightmare intruders. He was anxious for the meeting to be concluded though. Ava had called the night before to give them flight...

The Weaver

William de Mort rode his powerful black charger at the head of his caravan. His eyes fixed on a castle that dominated the lush green valley. The castle's tall rectangular keep sat secure behind a stone ring of imposing fortifications. Still, the young Baron felt unimpressed and slammed his inheritance. "To think I inherited this... No wonder they call father, Berty the bastard." ~ At the castle's gatehouse William dismounted his horse onto the cobblestones, where he was met by the castle's...

Sean David Kilpatrick Flynn Book 1 of Wizard A Love StoryChapter 28 Decisions and Warning

Udit was sitting at the kitchen table an hour later with Seth, Martha, Pappy and Sean. "David confirmed that it was Magdalena that attacked Pete and Susan," he explained. "That's the bad news because she's a very dangerous person. The good news is that she doesn't seem to be aimed at Sean and our group, our family. She was only there to try to protect one of her people that was being prosecuted. Pete has already handed off the papers to the prosecutor so there shouldn't be any further...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 9 Delegation Goals

The week passed quickly, despite the awkward homecoming. Seth had called ahead so that Martha knew that two additional guests were returning with them. He didn't tell her about everything that had happened in Phoenix. Martha had relayed the information about the impending arrival of Lian and Laoshin to the rest of the 'family' that was in residence. Sheila and BB shrugged it off. "If they're on our side, then it doesn't matter," Sheila said. Susan and Pete's were more skeptical....

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 11 Tragedy Strikes

David was excited as he drove the Bronco to Phoenix. Udit and Brennan were with him on the trip. Udit felt like Avasa was the daughter that he never had. He also felt responsible for Ava since he was not able to save her father and husband. Udit didn't feel it was right for Ava to travel without a chaperone. He didn't believe a man anxious for her company and a stranger qualified as proper chaperones. "Besides," he convinced himself. "I've been stuck up in these mountains while...

Sean David Kilpatrick Flynn Book 1 of Wizard A Love StoryChapter 19 Six Months Old

BB returned Sheila's call after the meeting. His first task was to reassure her that Martha and Seth were happy to let her stay at the ranch until the wedding. Sheila had expected a call back soon after she hung up and it had been hours. BB explained what had happened and what they decided to do about it. "Sheila, I don't want to put you in danger but I was told that you should be the one to decide," BB said. "I want you here but, at the same time, I want you safe. Can you understand...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 16 Years Pass

Calling the next few months hectic for the Flynn clan would be a major understatement. Even Wizardly powers couldn't compensate for too much to do in too little time or too many people living in too small a space. Arrangements to send David's body home was the first order of business. Udit felt that it was his place to handle this particular detail. The old Shaman was very capable in many areas. Some of the family described him as the most skilled of the non-wizards of the group. However,...

Sean David Kilpatrick Flynn Book 1 of Wizard A Love StoryChapter 30 Come What May

May turned into June and life settled into a new normal for the Gordian Ranch and its associates. The new normal included no one traveling alone for any reason and everyone had a shotgun with them at all times. And they trained. They trained individually and together. They competed individually and in teams. Sean wasn't allowed to be one of the teams because everyone considered that unfair. Instead, Udit devised ways that Sean could attack the others. It helped Sean sharpen his skills and...

Sean noticed Pappy's repeated glances at Laoshin and figured out that he was looking for a response from the woman. He also noticed that Laoshin was aware of Pappy's interest, and was fighting to keep from smiling. She didn't show anything in her expression, but Sean could feel her emotions. "Pappy, do they use dogs or cats for filling in those chilies?" Sean asked innocently. Pappy started sputtering incoherently. Laoshin graced Pappy with a huge smile. "We must complement the...

Secret Origins of the Wizard My Antediluvian Baby

This story is conceived as one of many possible origins for the Spells-R- Us wizard. Bill Hart created both the wizard and the Spells-R-Us universe, and only he can ever state with any definitive authority what is "true" about the wizard. This story is merely written as a fun exercise to explore the world of Spells-R-Us. It deliberately contradicts other "what if" tales in an effort to firmly establish the non-canonical nature of this and other unofficial Spells-R-Us stories. This may...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 21 Rage Incarnate

John was leading with Brennan behind him and Cory was bringing up the rear when they emerged onto the logging road. Night had fallen and they had to proceed with the flashlights. A glow on the horizon promised moonlight in the next hour or so but, until then, they had to rely on the flashlights. John crouched with his head swiveling, sweeping the beam of the flashlight ahead of him. "I hear a motor idling," John whispered urgently over his shoulder to his companions. Cory moved up beside...

Lian seemed to go into a trance as soon as she was settled in the back seat of the Ford Bronco. She had only spoken once throughout the loading process and departure from the Biltmore. Brett Stevens had said something to her just before she stepped into the vehicle. No one would hear what he said. Her response had been sharp, loud, and to the point. "I am still a part of this Delegation," Lian had said in a calm, cold voice. Sean felt like shards of ice were forming in the air from the...

A Halloween Fairytale Story There was once a Prince, handsome by all accounts. Possessing all of the manly attributes that a Prince should possess, all that is with the exception of one. In spite of this the Prince possessed a penis no bigger than his thumb, and testicles no larger than marbles. Now it came through word of mouth, there lived a Wizard in a certain location with the power to grant wishes. After searching for a year the prince was resting after bathing in a stream that ran through...

The Wizard Surfer DudeChapter 5

Jacob talked with Lance during dinner. "If you continue to think so highly of Alison," replied Lancelot, "you can request her to be yours permanently." "The King would do that?" Jacob asked. That was a bitchin' idea! Lancelot shrugged. "If the King says 'no', then it is no, but you do not know until you ask." Since Lance brought up asking, Jacob said, "So could, like, Alison and Mira and Gili, the girl in my room this afternoon, be, like, assigned to me tonight?" Lancelot...

Megan Enraged Book 2 of Wizard a Love StoryChapter 3 The Delegation

The Ranch Hands Kitchen was built on the opposite side of the barn from the two apartments that had been built for Pappy and BB. It was a large room with a propane cooking range in one corner along with cabinets to hold cooking utensils, dishes and flatware. Several mismatched tables with mismatched chairs filled the room and spare chairs were against the wall. One corner of the room was walled off to hold a toilet and sink. Until recently, the ranch held a round up once a year. Riders were...

Wrong Wizard

Wrong Wizard by Paul G Jutras Sam Hoseman always believed there was a microscopic truth in everything fiction. When he started reading stories on the Internet about a traveling wizard who changed men into women, he decided to spend his summer vacation looking for him. Then he could start summer off as the woman he always meant to be. He was traveling through the sandy desert of the middle east when he saw an odd little tent with a sign written in English instead of Arabic. A sign...

Delta OriginalChapter 15 Not Another Wizard

The next couple of days were spent in interviews. The officials had set up interviews with all the crew available, and they were each waiting their turn. No one was happy with many of the questions the new arrivals were asking about Lee, Kyle, the Captain and Sean. The dinners had turned back into more sedate affairs, and Sean had even relented and moved the van Holton’s to a double room. A casual chat with Mark van Holton had reassured him they were not here to railroad them. They were...

Who Me a Wizard

I was walking down the sidewalk on my way to a Halloween party. I had been torn between going as a Cowboy with the two gun rig or as Harry potter... I compromised I was wearing Harry' s Black robe including the wand up the sleeve. To compliment this outfit I had my two gun rig around my waist and wearing my Cowboy Hat and boots with pointy toes. I know I looked silly but maybe I would win the prize as the most absurd. If they asked what I was I could tell them I was the Western...

The Wizard Surfer DudeChapter 3

"Ready?" greeted Lancelot in Jacob's room sometime after the morning meal. "For what?" replied Jacob. "To meet Merlin." "Merlin?" "Do you not remember the King's request for you to visit with Merlin?" Jacob remembered. He hoped everybody else had forgotten. "Hey, uh ... Lance dude? I was thinking that like I don't want to really meet this Merlin dude. Since we're both wizards, what's there to say to each other, you know? I thought I'd just stay in my room and chill. If...

The Wizard Surfer DudeChapter 2

"His constitution is weak," Jacob heard a man's voice. The voice sounded like his surfing buddy Derek. Why was he talking about the government? Jacob stretched but kept his eyes closed. He wasn't ready to wake up because he was still very tired after the strange night. He couldn't remember what he dreamt about but he knew it was weird. His bed was comfortable, but felt different. He rolled onto his side to see if he could return to slumber. The night was cool. He must have left the...
