UFP Annette
Annette had watched in horror as the explosion gobbled up ships. She hadn't minded seeing the Long-nose gobbled up, but the three Defiants had upset her stomach. She had just finished launching ten of the twelve Photons at two separate flagship. She had ordered continuous photon fire, however that stopped as the lights went out.
Annette didn't get to see the deaths of her victims. The two flag ships didn't have a chance in hell without their shields. The first Flagship took six photons and exploded in its own ball of expanding gas. The second took four photons and broke up into three sections.
Annette floated free from her chair, as did everyone else aboard her namesake. Now what, she wondered. She subconsciously knew what had happened. She just didn't know what to do about it. Well, that was what her crew was for.
The engineer called out, "System overload, resetting breakers. Total systems restart."
Everyone aboard waited through the tense cycles for power to be restored.
UFP Leah
'Hell, ' Leah thought, while passing two Long-noses to port, as she approached the flagship in front of her.
"Divide the photons. Four each, on each ship."
"Aye-aye," came the weapons officer's reply.
Leah watched as the photon's collapsed the shield of the three Gray ships before her. All three ships were badly damaged from the attack. Neither of the Long-nose craft would be able to fire their main rail guns. The Flagship, however, managed to get two of its particle accelerators to fire.
Leah watched as the beams bounced off her shields, then she ordered a second round to be fired at all the ships.
"Repeat fire, same as before," was her order.
The photons fired out. Just before Leah could see the deaths of the three ships, the lights went out.
"What happened?"
Her Chief Engineer said, "Catastrophic power failure, Ma'am."
"Well get it fixed."
"Working on it."
Leah briefly wished Jason had been onboard her ship at the moment.
The projectile fired from the Long-nose continued on its course, with but a minor adjustment when the concussion wave struck it from the death of the Planet Destroyer. It reached its target off center, clipping the edge of the gate's ring. The damage was significant as energy was transferred from projectile to gate. The gate responded by beginning a rapidly spinning rotation. Had the gate not been powered down, it could have corrected the spin in mere moments. However, it had lost all power. It started spinning like a top slamming the ring's crew outward and onto whatever outside wall was handy. The centrifugal force was more than any of them could bear. Their twenty-eight bodies were crushed onto the walls of the gate. Death was quick enough for them. At least no one suffered for long.
Gray Super Command Ship
Gray Leader was fuming mad.
'An ambush!' he thought, 'How dare they?'
He had started his rant when the explosion occurred. He watched in horror as Long-nose after Long-nose went up with the planet destroyer. Then darkness. His ship had lost all power. He knew what it was that caused it. It had to be the EMP wave from the anti-matter nuclear detonation. It had happened in testing when the Planet Destroyer had targeted a planetoid that was too small. In fear of it happening again, the engineers had 'bootstrapped' the system on many of the ships, so they could do a quicker restart of their systems. Leader had just ordered a system restart when the floor of his ship went out from underneath him. The ship had lurched forward, and he had tumbled back into the rear of his throne. The rest of the bridge crew was not so lucky. There were a few broken limbs, and two of the Grays were knocked unconscious.
"What was that he cried out?"
"Sir, I think the rear of the ship just exploded. It must have been those damnable balls of light the humans use."
His steely black eyes glassed over with thought, then he ordered, "Launch the bridge module."
The Super Command ship had the only ejectable self-powered mini-spacecraft module in the fleet. Basically a life pod on steroids, it had its own hyperspace generator. It was a long agonizing three cycles before the power came back on, and the escape craft jettisoned from the rest of the ship.
Leader looked back to see the rear of his pride and joy lit with plasma flames. He could even see the Flowsman to the rear. He surveyed the damage around his craft. He had lost at more than half his fleet, and it looked like fifty-seven of the Federations ships were still intact. He ordered that the fleet retreat home.
The coward ran, even before he got an acknowledgment from the ships capable of following. None of them got the message. All that survived were still dead in space, trying to restart their power systems.
Sue Lin had been on an intercept vector when the power died. She had seen the explosion stop just shy of her ship. Then the power went out. She hadn't even gotten a shot off, and now she was disabled in space.
She screamed out her frustration, "Get that power back on!"
She felt her body lose all weight even as the technicians began the restart process.
One by one, the ships recycled. Their power system came back on line. The Grays, looking around, saw their flagship in flames, with the Command Lifeboat gone. They concluded that they too, should retreat. One by one, they entered hyperspace and headed for home.
Had Gray Leader stuck around and keep his senses about him, things could have gone very differently for the Federation. The undamaged Gray ships could have had a 'turkey shoot', as the federation ships took much longer to restart.
Even the Planet Destroyer would have had time to fire at the planet. It chose not to, and ran after its fellows.
Eighteen of the Grays ships were too damaged to do anything, even after they restored power to their ships. Most no longer had enough control even to flee.
All in all, just twenty-three of the Gray ships made their getaway into hyperspace. None of the Long-noses escaped. And only one of the planet destroyers made it out.
The power on the UFP Woe came back on. Soon the view screen showed the carnage in space around him. Except for the Sensor Officer, everyone fell to the floor when the gravity was restored.
"Report!" Jim snapped as he attempted to move back to his chair.
Harden your heart, and resolve yourself to doing what is right. In so doing, you shall chart your course truly, and you will not detour from the path you need to take. Admiral Rainer Star Date 7.102 Sue Lin said, "Mr. President? We found all five planets. They are all in one system. The problem is that there are more than Grays in the system." Jim replied, "What? Who?" "Unable to tell at this point." "Crap!" "There is one other problem." "What is...
"They want us to communicate at light speed?" the Centauri Captain said incredulously. "They have even included the plans to make the communications system, Sir," the sensor operator said. "I know that sounds odd, but with a race that can do the things this race can, perhaps they have some reason we are unaware of, for wanting to communicate in this way." "Perhaps they are underestimating our technological level," the captain said. The first officer spoke up for the first time....
"They say they surrender, unconditionally," Leah said. Jim looked around, utterly confused by this. No one he looked at had anything to add. If anything, they were even more confused than he was. "Maybe they just want to make sure we understand it was not them that fired on us," Jason wondered. Jim said, "There is that, however they did not use any weapon but their torpedoes. I think we may have scared them when we used the disrupter." Annette was still slightly dazed because of the...
Jim had just finished saying "Engage", when Annette tapped the preprogrammed virtual 'execute' button on her LCD monitor. It took just over 2 shakes, before the Warp Coil generated the field around the 90-foot length of the orbiting ship. On board, it was as though nothing had happened. The anti-grav generator was synched to the warp coil. It compensated for the sudden burst in acceleration, as if it were an inertial damper. As crude as it was, it worked well enough to keep them from...
Jim awoke with a hard-on the likes of which he hadn't experienced, since his first youth. The lack of gravity was definitely having an effect on his body. He became aware that both his wives were holding onto him. Jim moved one hand to massage Annette's breast and his other to Jennifer's. He needed them both, and he needed them now. Jennifer moved first as sensation overtook her body. She let out a low moan in response to his touch. Jim stepped up his efforts at this point, and moved his...
The council and government of the Federation had gathered in full array and presence. Only Norse was absent, and no one was concerned about that. The monumental moment was coming as they waited to meet the new President of the Federation. It had been long before the war began, since there had been a President. Aphelia met Rainer as the group exited the space cruiser Prime. It was plain to all how happy Rainer was to see his wife again. He was very excited. Since no one wore clothing in this...
It wasn't long and the Gray's Mother ship also exited hyperspace, just outside the orbit of Pluto. It turned as it launched four spy craft toward Pluto, then its powerful x-ray sensor system was turned on. Jim spoke, "Fleet to Red Alert." After the alert sounded for a few moments, he said, "Sound off." The tech on the bridge silenced the audio portion of the alarm. The four spy craft had spread out and were racing to maximum observation positions. None of the ships noted the three...
Jim was looking at Carl's face on the view screen of the bridge when he began his question. "Admiral? Given what we have seen to date with the Gray's fleet, if you were the commander of the other side, how would you plan your operation? Assume you wanted to take out Prime itself, as the major objective." Carl was on the spot and he knew it. As a credit to his professionalism, he kept his emotions in check. Then his face formed the look of a man deep in thought. It wasn't long before he...
Jim and his wives watched the battle between the Excelsior and the Flagship. The flag launched 80 fighter craft. All were keeping Excelsior busy as they had enveloped around the craft trying to prevent its escape. Basketball size explosions tore at the ship shields before Excelsior went to warp and fired a single phaser at the Flag's engines disabling them. Excelsior dropped out of warp .1 AU behind the fighter craft and started a systematic sweep with its phaser banks of the fighters....
Star Date 2.125 Personal Log: The Gardorian ambassador has proven to be a most valuable source of technology for the Federation. Although he has not been able to provide us with any weapons' technology, he is most knowledgeable about power systems. The federation now has the technology to build anti—matter converters as power sources. This process defies mental reasoning. However, the technology does provide us with the virtually unlimited power needed for space-faring, and it does so in...
The people of Dermas V took note of the space battle taking place at the edge of their solar system. They were more advanced than they had let on. Having figured some things out from many 'coincidences', they also had a complete distaste for the Grays. The Grays were the only race they knew of, and that was only because of the distasteful experiments that had been made on them years before. They were quickly able to ascertain that the winning side in this battle was the Grays, because of...
Day Two. Nothing unexpected happened on the second day of the trip. The ship ran well. Its hydrogen fueled engines put out more than enough energy to maintain the warp coil at full power. The engine's main byproduct was oxygen. That was one detail that the mothers had handled without involving Jim. Seven year old Timmy asked his dad, "What if there are aliens where we are going?" Jim replied, "Well, now, I don't think we are going to have to worry about that." Timmy smiled and...
Star Date 5.002 President Flowsman's Personal Log: Technology is a wondrous thing. However, even using replication technology it takes time to get it all figured out. I asked for a coke today, and was shocked when I got a tray with half a dozen two-inch long 'lines' of white powder. Integration of earth foods into the system has not been without its errors. I dread asking for steamed lobster tail, with drawn butter. My dear wife Annette thinks that I will get a 'pen and ink' picture if...
Star Date 5.121 Captains log, UFP Flowsman. We are now orbiting the planet Earth with our shields at maximum to avoid detection by Earth technologies. We are here to recruit a few people to help in the training of our carrier forces and in the combat tactics needed for Star Fleet. We have identified three candidates for the job, two men and one woman. We have set up a nice area in the observation deck for the interviews. For some reason it's called Ten Forward, even though it is located on...
Soon the kids were up and awake. Everyone gathered in the kitchen for breakfast. Jim decided he wanted eggs, bacon, and toast. What he got was definitely different than he expected. The eggs were not from chickens. That was certain. The bacon tasted about normal, but the toast was to kill for. Jim could never remember tasting dark bread, or any bread, with so much flavor. "Well, we are going to have to get that replicator reprogrammed with some of our food, at least for the eggs," Jim...
This was the third day since Jim had become confirmed as President. He was talking with AI about the Gray's. AI had much more information than he had dreamed possible. He asked AI for a summery of known information. Gray Home World Location: Unknown Est. Fleet Size: 87 Capital Ships 240 War Ships 1500 Scout/Spy Ships 2800 Support Ships. Known Technological base: Anti-grav and jump gate capable ships. Hyper Wave Comm system Standard Weapons: Charged capacitor warheads Nuclear...
The Enterprise hurled itself at warp 7 past the remaining Gray flagship. Its bank of 6 phasers fired at the rear of the ship as went by. The rear of the ship exploded from the hits. Bedlam broke out on the Gray's bridge. Their ship was now little more than a hunk of space garbage. "Emergency power" cried out the captain. The dimly lit bridge was a chaos of disorder. So devastating had been the attack, the Grays were in fear for their lives. "Oh, my," Jim said. "Jason, bring us around...
Star Date 5.005 President Flowsman's Personal Log Many changes have been started in the Federation. The removal of fighter craft from the Carriers, being one of them. Fortunately for us, the Carrier's bays are big enough to carry a new class of ship that has also been proposed. The Defiant Class ship looks just like its namesake from the 'Deep Space Nine' TV show. It is little more than shields and weapons. The smaller ship has a six-man crew, with twin-mount 202mm phaser banks, and...
Captain Sue Lin, USN XO aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise. Pearl Harbor, HI. Sue had worked hard to buck her way up to second in command of the aircraft carrier Enterprise. She was one of the few female pilots that had gotten this far. She had finished her review with the captain of the ship. The chauvinistic pig was stonewalling her. She knew that with his 'performance review', she would never get any father in this male dominated navy. She cursed deeply as she typed up her resignation...

Edited by TeNderLoin Chapter 1 I was asked to write the story of my life for the great Centauri library of the home world. It seems that I have become someone that others want to know about. I find it hard to believe, myself. However, after I reviewed all the stories written about me, I found that my 4th lifetime was lacking completely in written detail. So I decided...

"What is your fondest wish?" nurse Woe said to me. Here I was lying in the CICU bed dying from my fourth massive heart attack, in as many months. She was probably talking about giving me a blowjob or something along those lines. I did have a reputation for being a flirt on the floor. This was my fourth trip here in three months, damned heart attacks. This time the doctor said that there was little hope. Eighty-five percent of my heart was dead, and if I survived the night I would have to...
I had spent most of the summer on the playground near our home. I used the overhead bars an awful lot. Also I did lots of pull-ups. I was up to 25 of them at a time, the day school started. Odd, in my prior life, I could have hardly done one, to save my life. The day school started came. This time, I let my mom take me into the school on the first day. Playing the shy kid, had its advantages. Mom was a strong willed woman, so she was going to make sure I was settled in, 'proper like'. I...
It was the big news in Monday's paper: President Okays Private Ownership of Gold. Gold Market Up. Gold Selling for $78.00 an Ounce. I remembered the headlines from the first time through. I also remembered it would not take long before gold would soar to $880.00 an ounce. Well, it looked like I was going to have to empty the safety deposit boxes but good, this time. I was going to keep the coins that would appreciate more than gold would, in the next years. The key date gold coins, I wanted...
It was her sister June that asked how many kids we were planning on having. Ok, I was in trouble here. I knew I wanted to have my three girls with her. And I knew she should have her three boys. The only difference, would be that I would be the father of all the kids. And she would be the mother. But I had not voiced my desire to her. My sweet baby saved me from having to answer. Annette said, "Why, I think we will start having them a few years after we get married. We'll stop when we...
What she did to us next, was shocking, but at least she told us why! "There are two different couples out there whose children will be still born," Woe said. "They are good friends to each other, and will live next door to each other their whole lives. I am going to answer their wishes. I am going to allow you remember your pasts. Remember, don't ever tell anyone about your pasts." She filled in a few more details, and then was gone. "Oh, my," Annette said, "I didn't remember my...
Once the college staff became aware of the help the two new assistants were providing Jim, they became concerned for his aged health. The college president himself paid Jim a visit at Jim's home, one day. They all thought it was a close call for the three of them. Jim's pants were really not all the way back up. The president dismissed it as little more than proof of Jim's failing heath, and a need for assistants. It made it simpler for him to address reducing Jim's class load. The...
From the Orientation Briefing: Star Fleet Academy "There comes a time in every man's life, when he must face his actions in the light of hindsight. The question he must answer for himself is: 'Did I live up to my own standards, or did I compromise, and give in to the views of others.'" Admiral Carl Fitzgerald Star Date: 10.251 Presidents Personal Log: Star Date 7.035 I have just completed reading the intelligence reports for Operation Gray Hammer. Men, as do animals, have always had more than one mate. He that believes otherwise is blind, for he denies what is before his own eyes, in favor of what others tell him. Monogamy is an invention of those that would seek to control your every action. They would, if they could, control even the number of times a man relieves himself in a day. Guard against those that dictate/legislate their morality upon others. They have rules so that they do not have to think, question, or choose for...
Excerpt from training speech at Starfleet Academy. Someone once said that if you travel far enough, long enough, you would eventually meet yourself. Having done so myself, I can tell you one thing with certainty, the experience is not worth the effort. So my advice is, don't bother doing it. When one is in an impossible situation, don't panic. There is always an answer, even if you can't see it until it's almost too late. Admiral Sue Lin Class notes on the 'impossible mission'. Gray Leader felt the impact. In a panicked voice, he called for a hyperspace escape jump. It would prove to be the biggest error of his newly shortened life. A Gray Flagship exploded in the screen showing the aft view from the palace ship, even as the UFP Hammer's nova beam collapsed the Palace...
After dinner Jason changed into cockroach form, dressed in his armor and wrote to Lauren. He spoke briefly with Yoyo, Cassius, Jacques, Marduk and several other leaders. Philippa decided to stay with Jason and Valsam. Zafa joined her fleet. Jason went to look outside. Tens of thousands of troops, tanks and gunships surrounded the palace. Jason spoke to Andrea and Linda. Razza and Julia returned to their rooms. Finally, Ooryphyon did so as well. Jason meditated and spoke to Porquenta and the...

“Come on! Come on!” one of the crew members yelled to another as they walked as fast as they could to the airlock passageway. “The Atra is already setting up the gate probes. Move your ass now!” A female officer quickly looked behind her. There was no one else that she saw. Kane was inside the Atra by the airlock as the crew of one hundred was being rounded up. Some Yutilians and a few Shal’rein had all met up with the evacuating crew. Ifra was helping others in their rapid adjustment to the...
Jason arrived at Charassa before the invading fleets. He informed his own Generals and Admirals about what he had been doing and why, so that they could convey this to the most senior Admiral and General directing the battle. “I can’t get over this, Jason! You constantly seem to manage to surprise me,” said Ouma Chatzke. “We now have a second extremely ancient race on our side, and their unique defense against planet and star system missiles is a true blessing. “These are trying times for...
As the trumpeter’s call split the early morning silence, it found Dakkoth moving through the intricate practice maneuvers that his craft demanded. Clear on the other side of the arena, Silvaeya was just waking up. She rolled out of her meager bed, and reached for her weapons and armor and began to suit up. One of the unspoken rules of the arena was never to be without a weapon of some kind at all times. Accidents happened all the time, and the more prepared that you were, the better your...
One day later. Time: Wednesday, May 26, 2055 11:30 PM UMT It was two hours before dawn, but both armies had already been positioning themselves for hours. Hannibal stood with his second-in-command in the situation room deep within Urushalim Express. Around them were a number of the ship's officers, watching the displays with them. Captain Silva cleared his throat. "Hannibal, to preserve some semblance of neutrality, I'll have to ask you and Edom to leave the ship soon and return to your...

I thought The readers of Literotica might like it. ************ The Roamers had just finished their lunch and set off for Hyaline for supplies. The enemy in the battle had been much more effective and dangerous than had been expected. Their shields technology and weapons were very much more powerful than had been predicted. Jason was shaken by the events. This was the first time for a long time that he had felt threatened and at risk. Jason felt that he was back on a treadmill that was going faster and faster. There was a great sense of relief that the battle had been won. It could have so easily been a loss. Each of the allies...

The Grand Duke and his entourage left the capitol and crossed the Rika Chorna river in a fleet of ferries. He commented to his commanders that, if he survived the upcoming war, he’d have to build a bridge to span the river closer to the capitol. It was ridiculous to have to cross like this, in boats like common cargo. The Danubian Royal Army already was encamped on the south bank, opposite the city. As soon as the sovereign showed up, the men began their trek southwards. There were 9,000...
My Daughter and My Battle Within For the last five years, I have fought a major battle of morality within my own mind. My daughter, now 17, has developed into an absolute gorgeous young woman. My secret desires have remained within my mind for so long now, explicit taboo thoughts of incestuous lust. This is a story, an account of how I fought this battle and how this battle was ultimately lost. I know there are many men, fathers out there that also fight this secret battle within and I admire...

Prologue The bulbous grey ship winked out of hyperspace and swung into orbit around the blue and green planet. Selecting the largest land mass it decelerated, flamed through the atmosphere, found a secluded location and settled to the ground on antigravity beams, it's landing pads crushing trees like matchsticks. The need for the UR-Metal had become critical and the Hive Mind was becoming desperate. It had been repulsed from this source before, this time it would not fail. 'I have heard...

Mars Base: Federation Side Thirteen-year-old Mitchell Young sat back from his computer screen, looked at the final design of the APES, and watched the simulation run. Within seconds, they had devastated a unit of T'Lari warriors. Reaching over to the keypad, he typed in a few commands and watched the T'Lari change to battle Mechs and it took a little bit longer but they were able to wipe out the twenty Mechs for the loss of only five of the APES. With a grin, he said, "It's going to...
“What is twenty miles?” Heaty asked. John showed Heaty what an inch is by using the back of his thumb. Twelve inches equal one foot. Heaty asked, “Are feet and foot the same thing?” So, he understood foot/feet. John then went big, “Yes, feet is the plural of foot and 5,280 feet make a mile.” Heaty took the next step, “20 miles are 105,600 feet. Good!” No doubt Heaty could figure on his feet. We were back with Lady Ada in the control, “Lady Ada, My Jenny wants to heal you. Is that...
As the sun set, we stood on the top of the narrow pass on the main trail through the Dragon's Backbone. Behind us a valley led to the plains of our home. Before us a valley led down the steppes across which the main enemy army had come. We were watching them coming up the valley not far from us now; they would start crossing the pass on the next morning. The captain spoke to us, only a few words, but even now, as I write this, they give me shivers in my bones. "Soldiers of Livia. They are...
After resting for about half an hour with the two women doing the same beside him Mev sat up. It was time to prepare to meet the Zentas Hue; he could feel the pattern of his spellcraft previously applied to the ship was fading fast. It would not be long before the Zentas Hue trio was able to return to the ship and do whatever they wanted with it. Mev looked at Sheila who was still sitting back against the wall. After a moment her eyes opened and then a look of wonder came over her face as...
John looked to the Captain of the Lulu, “Battle Stations Captain! Plan A-1 defend earth.” “Yes Sir! Plan A-1 defend earth.” The two men had worked out communications with the Captain’s limited English, “Sir our sensors are telling us of intruders in the flight bay.” John heard what could pass for a marching song on earth. Some more men and women coming to man the guns on Lulu. “Willa was standing next to John, “They won’t let me do battle up close,” Willa said as she patted her...
Surrender? “Nuts!” Gen. Anthony McAuliffe’s 1944 Christmas Message to his Troops In mid-December 1944, Allied forces were surprised by a massive German offensive through the Ardennes Forrest that created a “bulge” in the Allied lines. Caught in what would become known as the “Battle of the Bulge,” the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Armed Forces was holed up in Bastogne while German armored divisions encircled the town. Outnumbered, outgunned, and running out of food, ammunition,...
Mortars exploded no more than thirty seconds after his daughter had departed. Hitch and Kieu-Linh quickly donned helmets and flak jackets, then rushed out to find protection. Old instincts had Hitch rising for a fight, his mind already taking in every detail and craving more. Plumes of dust were close by, and more impacts pounded within a hundred meters. Hitch heard shouts around them, the rattle of a .50 caliber exploding to their east. "We're being overrun!" a man shouted with...

This is the sixth and final chapter of a story, which mainly took place in the ‘Mind Control’ category. I recommend reading the other chapters — but for those who do not want to do so, here is a short summary of what has happened so far: A strange locket has been influencing the fate of the small town of Leskow and especially of Laura, a young woman from this town, for several years now. At first, Laura was enslaved due to the influence of that locket, whose bearer can force anyone or anything...
Chapter 17: Battle of the Century "What happened?!" a deep voice thundered through the darkness.
