“Yeah,” Jeff whispered back at the same volume.
“You mean that bitter smell ... like wet dog mixed with the vomit and piss from a drunk?” Jim asked.
“That’s the one,” Jeff said.
“Makes me happy my nose isn’t as sensitive ... but I am picking up something,” Philip said, his Chimeran mental senses were tingling. “Something very aggressive ... and not from the neighbourhood.”
They opened the door to the café and entered, Jeff locked it behind them. “Okay I put it on the roofs about three blocks back,” he said.
