I did give Ashley a few minutes of attention once we returned to our home. Her prediction that we would be having an orgy proved to be correct. I woke up with all six ladies draped over my naked body. It took a few minutes and a bit of effort to lift their bodies enough to allow me to slide out from under them and make my way to the small shower in the back of the room.

I was carefully washing off the remnants of our play when Miki stumbled into the shower. She put her arms around me and leaned against me, pushing me against the wall.

“Sorry,” she said as I grunted. “I’m still waking up.”

“I should probably apologize to you. I’ve left you alone too often since we all got picked up,” I replied as I stroked her hair.

“You’ve been great,” Miki said as she put her arms around me. “You’ve shown me you care and that’s what I’ve needed. I don’t have to worry that you’ll dump me.”

“I’d miss you,” I said. “And you are a good companion.”

“I try to be. So what about Jason and Jessica. They aren’t part of your crew,” Miki asked.

“I was thinking of calling them after I have breakfast. I do have to do some training today, but I might have time to meet them,” I said.

“Why did the AI not set everyone’s training up first?” Miki asked. “I mean it seems so stupid to make you the captain and then just give you twenty-seven people and say that you have to turn them into a crew.”

“I expect we are a bit of an experiment,” I replied.

“Why?” Miki asked.

“Because they are probably running out of experienced ship commanders,” I replied.

“Why would that matter?” Miki asked. “The CAP system obviously would identify the good ones. And if they think you can be one, why remove Jason and Jessica from you?”

“I need to build a rapport with my crew. I suspect that the AI felt that I would have trouble convincing many of the older men in the crew to trust me if my two senior officers were my best friends,” I said.

“But they will work so well with you,” Miki said.

I shrugged as I got some shampoo from the dispenser built into the wall of the shower. I poured some over Miki’s head and began massaging it into her scalp.

“That’s nice,” she said.

“Just something I can do for you,” I said quietly.

Just then a bell rang in the shower. “Mark,” the AI said softly. “Sorry to disturb you, but a Walter Norbert is asking if you might have a few minutes to talk.”

“You’re clean,” Miki said. “Get dried and dressed and invite him over.”

“He might not want to come,” I said softly before looking up at the ceiling.

“Put the call through,” I said as I turned the flow of water off.

“Mark?” I heard Walter’s voice call out. “Are you really willing to talk to me?”

“Why not? We were friends once, and I wouldn’t mind hearing a bit about how things are in the marines,” I said.

“Oh they suck,” Walter said with a bit of a moan. “We were drilling up and down the halls until just three hours ago. Sergeant Griffith has made it clear he expects us to be perfect marines by the time we reach Crucibleat and that means we have to start up again in just over an hour.”

“Shouldn’t you be sleeping then?’ I asked.

“I got three hours,” Walter said. “You’d have been laughing about how it was like when I got home. I walked in and just collapsed onto the couch. I got lucky with Monique. She has taken a bunch of classes in massage therapy. She massaged my back and I fell asleep on the couch.”

“Sounds like you might need more sleep,” I said as Miki grabbed a towel and began using it to dry my skin.

“Sergeant Griffith warned us about that. He said that he’ll be watching to see how much sleep we’re getting and if he feels its too much he’ll decrease our break time,” Walter said.

“Decrease it? That doesn’t sound all that smart,” Miki said.

“Well, if you want to stop by you can,” I said. “But I have my own training.”

“What kind?” Walter asked.

“I’m the captain of Corsica. The AI has offered sleep training in command and the basics of all the various stations, but I plan on taking the full courses that my crew must take,” I said.

Walter snorted. “Sergeant Griffith hates the sleep trainers.”

“Why?” I asked as Miki ran up to me holding a uniform. “I would think that they would be far more effective at teaching.”

Miki handed the uniform to me. I started putting it on as Walter sighed. “He lectured on that for over an hour. I guess it teaches the basics, and can even get you familiar with the movements required, but he says that doing it for real helps build real muscle memory. He especially wants to see us practice with others nearby.”

“That makes sense,” I said carefully. “What do you think?”

“I’ll tell you when I get to your home. Mind if I bring Katarina?” Walter asked.

“You should hurry. Otherwise you’ll run out of time,” I said.

“I’ll be there shortly,” Walter said. “I just had to wait for Katarina to get dressed. I gave her the option and she selected a really nice blouse and skirt combination.”

Miki giggled. “Do you think he’ll learn?” she asked me.

“I’ll be ready. I might be eating though,” I replied.

“I’m fine with that,” Walter replied. “I’ll be there soon.”

I nodded as I finished pulling the uniform up over my hips. The rest of the suit was much easier to pull on and I was sealing up the closure as Miki headed to the replicator.

“Something filling? Or are you going to pretend to want fruit and yogurt?” she asked me.

“Surprise me,” I said.

Miki laughed and turned to speak to the replicator. I smiled as she whispered her order. While she continued to talk I walked towards the door to our home.

I was just arriving when the AI played a gong sound. “Citizen Walter Norbert and one concubine are at the door, shall I admit them?”

“Go ahead,” I said firmly.

The door slid open. Walter was standing in the middle of the passage, staring at the door. I could see a woman’s face peeking around his right side. The woman appeared to be in her thirties, but the clear fright on her face made it hard to gauge.

Walter smiled and put a hand out as he stepped forward. “Thanks for talking to me again.”

“I’m not sure I should,” I admitted. “You turned into more than a bit of a beast after the announcements regarding pickups.”

Walter grunted. I noticed that the knuckles of the woman hiding behind him had turned white as she held on to my former friend’s waist.

“Katarina. I told you that I made some mistakes. That was why I ended up at the pickup where I found you and Monique. But I’m not the same person I was when I was on Earth,” Walter said.

“How was he?” the woman asked me.

I looked directly at Walter. “Do you want me to answer that? It might cause some problems.”

Walter sighed. “Katarina, I told you when I offered you the opportunity to join me that I had behaved very badly on Earth. Mark witnessed a lot of it.”

“What did you do?” Katarina asked as Miki walked up to me. My concubine was carrying a plate filled with crispy bacon and well browned hash browns.

Walter saw the food. “Wow, I thought a Japanese girl would want to serve you something a bit healther.”

“Why?” Miki asked. “One of the nice things we can count on with the alien medical technology is an ability to eat food we like the taste of without worrying about the health aspects as much as we did back on Earth. Besides, Mark needs the energy.”

I shrugged as I took the plate. “I do have six ladies to please. But why don’t you come in and sit down for a few minutes. If you were marching all day yesterday you must be sore.”

Walter smiled as he stepped around me to enter my pod. “I have a very good concubine in Monique. She massaged most of my aches away. But it wasn’t just marching. We did a ton of exercises as well. Sergeant Griffith also had a replicator create fake weapons for us to work with.”

“Sounds like he believes in hands on training,” I said.

“Definitely,” Walter said. “But when I thought about it, it makes sense.”

“Oh?” I asked.

“He’s already started going over the basics of how to hold the weapons we’ll be using and how they work,” Walter said. “He said we would use some sleep training, but only after we already had a foundation in the operation of our equipment.”

“Almost like learning algebra before you move on to trig,” I said.

Katarina shook her head. “I know you are young,” she said firmly. “So I have to ask how did you catch on to that so quickly.”

“I think about the situation,” I said.

“He’s not kidding,” Miki said as she helped me sit down. “I found that out from the start. He really does try to plan ahead.”

“It worked too,” Walter said. “You got Jason and Jessica picked up at the same time as you.”’

“Unfortunately, they aren’t part of the crew of Corsica,” I replied as I started eating.

“What?” Walter asked. “Why in the world wouldn’t they be?”

“They were assigned to the other corvette for some reason,” I said. “I haven’t had a chance to talk to them about it.”

“That sucks,” Walter said. “What else should I know about?”

“That I don’t know anything more about your training,” I said. “I’m training for the navy, not the marines. I just hope you do well.”

“Do you really?” Walter asked. “I treated you like dirt all last year at school.”

“With malice towards none, and charity towards all,” I started.

Katarina was shaking her head. Miki looked over at her. “What?” my concubine asked.

“It’s just that I recognize that line,” Katarina said. “I was a sixth grade teacher. I’m just surprised to see someone Mark’s age saying it.”

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 46 Captain to Captain

The system was in standby as I turned the chair back to the front. I reached down to call up a replay of the engine repair when I felt a hand grasp the back of my chair. “Yes?” I asked. “Is it always like that?” Captain Prescott asked. “The simulations are supposed to be the absolute worst possible sequence,” I replied. “And the time is compressed a bit. I really doubt we could enter a system get into a fight, scan a planetoid as well as a Sa’arm controlled planet and escape in just under...

I waited for the door to close and then released a massive sigh. Tatyana immediately put her arms around me. “That was hard on you,” she observed. I feel like I’m the only sheep in a room filled with hungry wolves. There are quite a few members of the crew that would do their best to replace me if they thought I’d fail,” I replied as I stood up. “Never let them see you sweat?” Tatyana said. “Basically,” I agreed as I stood up. “AI, you can power down this room until the next training...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 36 More School Hijinks

We were surprised to find that less than a third of the desks in the classroom were filled when we filed into the room of our German class. Jessica and Kelsey grabbed seats in one row and immediately started pointing to the seats around them. I started to walk around Jessica to the far side of the room, only to have Matti grab my shoulder and drag me to the seat in front of Kelsey. Jason sat down next to me. He shook his head as the others arranged themselves in the seats around Jessica....

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 67 Meeting Admiral Redmill

The next two hours were spent quietly monitoring the ship’s systems as we continued to crawl towards Yulara and the orbital station. Blaine and I said little as we watched the one prototype ship circle its target. Only two more attack runs were attempted and one confirmed Kelsey’s comments about the weapon’s short range. The ship fired from what appeared to be about twice the distance as the first run only for every shot to fade away before they reached the moon. Blaine repeated his thanks...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 22 Responding to Revelations

When Ashley led me from the television room that night, I think I finally realized that my thoughts about just how crazy things might become had been wrong. Just the rumor of and few released reports about the Sa'arm invasion had been enough to get four hundred women into that room based on a very faint promise of protection. They had submitted to a televised humiliation on little more than a rumor and trust in the government. I was determined not to let the show upset me too much, but that...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 73 The New Commander

“Captain Parker,” A voice growled out. “Dare I ask why you are in port today?” “Corsica ended its last patrol yesterday. The orders we received just before leaving Crucibleat were to visit several nearby systems and look for signs of Sa’arm incursions. We found none, although there was one system that my officers and I believe would be quite interesting to them. We left a warning buoy in the system as a way to provide advanced warning should an incursion occur. Our final orders were to visit...

Lenore ran over to join us. I nodded to her and then offered my free hand to her. She took it and we started walking towards the exit. It was sliding open when I heard a voice behind me. "Oh sure. You'll take the virgin to medical, but leave the girl who would do anything to have your cock in her cunt." I shook my head. "Aine, I have no clue where all the anger comes from, but its not very becoming of a young woman. I'm going to tell you now. I'm done with the nasty comments and the...

Major Greenfeld was standing outside the door. But I also don’t worry about it much.” “You don’t?” he asked as we started walking back to Corsica. “My age does not determine how well I can do my job,” I said. “No, but it does determine how others will view you,” Major Greenfeld said. “At least initially....

I allowed Jason to lead me into the training center. We found Ashley standing near the service counter, chatting merrily with the young woman standing there. I was surprised to see that the woman was wearing what looked like a combination of military uniform and space suit. Ashley noticed us and waved. "Mark! Lieutenant Marakova here tells me that she's received transfer orders," Ashley called out. Jason and I walked up to meet the woman. "You're not going to be here longer?" I asked...

The rest of the night was not very exciting. Lenore was inside the restaurant for at least ten minutes. We sat quietly while we listened to the cries of anger coming from within the restaurant. The patio was not an exit, so we saw no other customers except the two women who had collapsed out on the patio shortly after the barrier had been removed. What we could hear made it clear that several married women had tried unsuccessfully to be picked up, and their husbands were not pleased. Lenore...

Once I sat down in the captain’s chair I found that the sleep training had shown me the location of every button. I tested out the ones activating the holographic data screens just in front of the chair. They came up, but showed no data. “AI? Is there a problem with the simulator?” I asked. “No simulation has been chosen,” the AI said. “Can we set up for a simple cruise in the Crucibleat system? We haven’t heard much about the system or the planet we will be on,” I replied. “Activating...

The meetings that Hank Swift and Kelsey White had requested proved to be much less stressful than the first two I had. Hank wanted to ensure that he was not going to be exiled from Crucible. From what I could decipher from his almost incoherent pleas, his concubines had made it clear that he needed to straighten up and fly right. I knew that they could not just walk away from him, but refrained from saying anything to the penitent man. It was clear that he needed their approval. Instead I...

Jason and I walked over and sat on the ground with our teammates. One of the sophomores looked over at me. I realized that it was Derek Goodman, one of the starting defensive tackles. The game ended up being a bit of a snooze. Carolina's defense created three touchdowns before the second quarter was half over and then cruised to the ending. The rout of Constance seemed to signal an end to any disturbances for lunch. Maurice hung around for a while at the other table in the courtyard, staring at us, but saying nothing as Jason and I cuddled with our girls and listened to Jessica bragging about how good the freshman cheerleaders would be this year. After the morning break we had to head to German. Jason was clearly unhappy with the prospect of seeing Miss Kirke, if that was her real name now that we had discovered her previous occupation. My fears for my father's reaction proved to have understated just how mad he would be. The man destroyed every wedding picture he got his hands on and ripped all of my mother's clothing to shreds that night after Mrs. Roberts brought Matti and me home. Some twenty-six days later, I was sitting in the captain’s chair as Blaine counted down the time until we emerged in the Yulara system. The intervening four weeks had been spent traveling from system to system and scanning the ones we entered. The good news was that the time involved had allowed Ensign Daniels and his men to tear apart every controls station and rebuild it. They had found few additional problems, but the work allowed them to optimize and personalize everything. The men...

I stood up and walked toward the door, leaving my unfinished drawing on the easel. Jessica gave a cry of annoyance, as I walked away. I heard her easel crash to the floor behind me as I left the building. Outside, I walked a few feet from the door and then turned around. A couple minutes later Jessica stormed out of the classroom. She walked right up to me and slapped me across the face. "How can you embarrass me like that!" she hissed. I said nothing. Instead I pointed to a bench set far...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 10 Slipping out of School

I held Ashley close. There was a musical chime coming from the backpack at her feet. She giggled and looked down at it. "Mark, that's my cell phone. Can you grab my bag?" I shifted to the left so I could use my left hand to reach the bag. My right hand Ashley held pinned against her pussy. She was rocking gently against my hand as I picked up her bag and lifted it to the table. Once it was on the table Ashley dug through a side pocket to find her phone. "It's Mom!" she exclaimed as...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 12 Unpleasant Interruptions

It must have been only a moment, but I came awake with my arms wrapped around Ashley. She was lying there senseless. I pushed my body off hers and rolled to the side. Once we were lying next to each other, I began offering loving kisses. "Will it always be like that?" Ashley asked with a sigh. "I wish it will be," I replied as I held her. "That was just about perfect." "I know," Ashley said as she put her arms around me and squeezed me. "I never expected that." "I love you," I...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 17 Test Anxiety

Fortunately, the rest of the protest was rather peaceful. My brother stopped the few anarchists who had shown up hoping to use the protest as cover for some robbery attempts. Jason, Ashley, and I found that someone had already warned people on the route of the march. Buildings were closed, and many had placed boards over their windows to protect them. The three-mile march proved to be no more strenuous than a weekend jog. Jason was the first to notice that the marchers were having trouble...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 28 A Moment of Rest

The next two hours were a blur of exercise and pain. Sergeant O'Malley never broke a sweat as he first had everyone run around the clearing while he promised to train us to fight and then he proceeded to show us a series of dirty tricks and holds we could use to disable an opponent. When Jessica, Jason, Morgan and I were too tired to continue, he had us lay down while he took the ladies around and showed them how to break free from any hold a person might try. It was exhausting, but at the...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 29 Initiating Lenore

Ashley and I were quiet on the drive home. We were pulling into the driveway at my place when Ashley quietly asked. "Mark? Should we have offered her a chance to leave Earth with you?" "No," I said firmly. "There was no connection. Both of us think Kelsey is sweet and adorable. With Lenore it seemed like we came to the same conclusion about her sadness. And we know they get along with each other. I liked that Connie was willing to help when I had to intervene in the fight at the store,...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 21 Uneasy Introductions

I was a bit worried about being late so I immediately started jogging. I was passing the next door when I heard Morgan shout. “Hey! Mark, what’s the hurry?” I turned back to see Morgan jogging down the corridor. I choked back a laugh as I shook my head and slowed down until he caught up. “I figure being late sets a bad example,” I replied. “And this matters to you,” Morgan said with a nod. “Do you want to wait for Jason and Jessica?” “They know to get to a meeting on time,” I said. “I...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 55 A Tour of Corsica

The walk across the dark landscape took a few minutes longer than I had hoped, but it was only three forty-nine when we arrived at the administration building. The door opened up and we found ourselves looking at a small room with several doors and a large purple circle marking a gravity elevator. “Wow,” Ashley said as we entered. “Lots of space.” “Which way to the teleportal?” I asked. “Use the first door on the left,” the AI said. “Concubines must wait for their citizen or another...

Becky picked up most of us. Matilda and Kelsey were riding home with us for the first time all week. Becky noticed as they jumped into the minivan. "I have extra passengers," she said. "I'm glad I didn't bring Angelique. She wanted to come" "Awww," Kelsey and Matilda said in unison. "We wanted to see her." "I haven't gotten to play with her all week," Kelsey added. "You choose to go home with Jessica," Jason pointed out. "Well," Kelsey said. "I don't go home with...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 76 Can You Open a Closed Mind

I muted my cell phone. "Everyone is fine with this correct?" I asked. Letty giggled. "It sounds like you'll have fun. I'll stay out for the most part. I'm Jason's sex slave and should be seen naked and at his feet." Ashley laughed. "Oh, that's so wrong its right. I agree though. Mark, it should be mostly you with Jason, Jessica, and Morgan offering the most support. We already know it will probably be about you." "This song is not about me," I said firmly. "I never thought...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 22 Meeting My Crew

By the time the hour instruction was complete I think most of the people in the room had fallen asleep. I had followed along for a while and then found that the desk allowed me to zoom in even more on sections as the AI discussed them. The one thing I quickly noticed was that the ship was designed to not need a crew. Just about everything could be handled by the computer. Only the combat tasks like firing the weapons or making emergency changes to engine output would require human...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 45 Facing a Major Test

I had announced that the crew needed to show up at ten hundred hours. As was my usual pattern I walked into the bridge simulator thirty minutes before then. For once I was alone, as all of my ladies were still sleeping. The orgy that Lenore had demanded had run far past midnight. I was still a bit sleepy, but the content smiles on my slumbering concubines warmed my heart as I took my seat and powered up the displays. The displays were flickering into life when the doors opened up behind me....

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 57 Initial Maneuvers

The ship was quiet. Ensign White and Ensign Munfree sat and adjusted their displays as Blaine began running his fingers over his controls. “I need thrust,” he called out. “Engines cycling up from standby,” I heard Lance Corporal Boddicker say. “Thrust will be available in ninety seconds.” “Releasing stern connections,” Blaine said. I watched the forward view screen. The screen showed that the ship was drifting a bit. “Helm?” I called out. “The port connection caught for a moment,”...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 84 A Friend Returns Home

Captain Prescott sighed as the two ensigns left. He waited until we could no longer hear their footsteps in the lobby of the administration building before turning to look directly at me. “I’m sorry.” I shrugged. “I understood why you reacted the way you did. I can see the pain in your eye when you remember how many members of your crew died in the last fight. Honor them by being a better commander in the future.” “Easy to say, but its going to be hard. I’m praying we find some good crew on...

Living a CAP Based PresentChapter 34 Chaotic Days

My prediction that the next day would be hectic was proved earlier than I expected. A klaxon ringing in the bedroom woke me up. It felt like my head had just touched my pillow as the loud racous noise got all of my concubines to sit up. “What is that?” Constance complained. “AI? What is going on?” I asked. “A small fight has broken out in training room Sigma. The klaxon was being used to awaken all officers and senior enlisted,” The AI said calmly. “Were any of my crew involved in this...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 54 Preparing for the Super Bowl

I let everyone know about the reappearance of my brother. No one was very worried about him. Mike had proved to be a coward. The only worry was that he might try to catch one of the girls alone. Morgan used some contacts he had through his construction work and a week later gave everyone in our group pepper spray canisters. School continued. The teachers were increasingly distracted though, and the lessons suffered. Some of the teachers spent most of their time trying to chat up the students...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 57 Making a Spectacle Seem Mundane

We loaded the suitcases onto the bus quickly. Once the bus was full, I informed the driver that we were going to head to breakfast. He said that he would park around the corner. Maurice, Jason, and I headed over to the restaurant. We arrived at the entrance and found that the rest of our group had already been seated. The hostess agreed to lead us to the private room where everyone was. I lagged behind the others as the hostess led us through the restaurant. Several of the patrons looked at...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 58 Fun in the Box

We found the ramp and began making our way up the spiral. Ashley had her phone to her ear. "Yes, I know about it. I was filming ... No, I didn't put my video on YouTube." "Sooner," Lenore and I said in unison. "Look, we're trying to get to our seats," Ashley said. "No one here is hurt or anything." "No one?" I asked as I looked over my shoulder. Lenore giggled. "Morgan told us about how this security company has been known to try to shake down some of the luxury box ticket...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 3 Answerless Tests

The next morning, I found myself wrapped up on my now unzipped sleeping bag with a young girl hanging on each side of me. I was dressed in boxers for sleep while my sister and her best friend had found long t-shirts they used to cover their bodies. They each had a hand on my chest and my hands were resting on their hips as we cuddled under a blanket. Absently I gave each of them a few tender rubs before I sat up and turned the alarm off. Kelsey shifted and growled in annoyance, but neither...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 6 First Outing with Ashley

The rest of the day at school passed quickly. Jason and I sat with Julio and Walter at lunch. Jason spent most of the time trying to cheer up Walter. I said little, but did discover that Julio and Walter were going to attend a one-day seminar that was reported to help young men improve their scores. Both had scheduled tests for the upcoming Tuesday afternoon. Jason and I both offered to walk with them to the training center. Jessica did stop by during lunch. She teased Julio a bit. Her...

Building a CAP Based FutureChapter 8 More Bubbles of Anger

It was about nine when I finished my studying for the night. I was preparing a list of food items that could be hidden in the tree house when my father came home. He was shouting about untrustworthy politicians and corrupt bureaucrats. It was clear that the conference call had not provided the results he and his friends had hoped for. I went to sleep listening to him rant at Mother. The next morning Father was sitting at the breakfast table when I came down after my shower. He glared at me...
