Carol
There were things she wanted to tell her family about their protector – things far more worrisome than Nick’s mob involvement had been. They accepted Minerva’s ghost, but Lanier ... that was orders of magnitude more hard to swallow. Besides, she didn’t know anything, just suspected a lot.
So, she said nothing. And worried, despite all of Nick’s assurances she had no reason to.
“What, sir, I’m sorry?”
“I asked why this Lanier person called us,” Harry replied.
“Not sure, but if I had to guess, it occurred to him we would be upset when we heard the news, and would call him. Best to reassure us, and make sure we knew Nick was alive before we saw the news. Now, I’m pretty sure reassuring us wasn’t the first, or even the fifteenth, thing on his schedule, but I have to say, I appreciate the gesture. We would have been some kind of fucked up if we’d just heard this on the news without knowing the truth.”
“And that line about ‘things not going as he and his people had planned’, or something like that?” Margo said.
“I have no doubt whomever was acting as Nick’s double would have gotten a bullet to the brain from quite a distance away, had things gone as planned. No Federal Marshals would have been killed. Quick, clean, efficient.
“Whoever did kill the double ... Tony called those kind of hits ‘cowboy’ – like mass shoot-outs in old western movies, where everybody’s spraying bullets around indiscriminately, where there should have been lots of innocents wounded or killed, but movies, you know? Real life is much messier.
“Six Federal Marshals...” Carol continued. “Pretty much guarantees Waterloo is an attention magnet for quite some time. Every federal, and state for that matter, acronym’s people will descend on Central Texas ... well, all the ones that weren’t already here, thanks to the earlier bombing.”
“I wonder if we have anything to worry about?” mused Margo, as Kelly slipped a robe on her.
“Have Kendry and Shaun make sure any of our drugs and such are ready to be disappeared in the time it would take someone to get to the house from the road,” Harry said. “The kinky BDSM lifestyle ... well, anyone interested will just have to get over that.”
“So,” Kelly said, “if it wasn’t Lanier’s people who killed ‘Nick’,” as she used air quotes, “then who did?”
“Not our circus, not our monkeys,” Carol said.
“That’s uncharacteristically ... cold...” Harry said, worry on his face.
Carol sighed.
“I’m sorry, I do feel sympathy for the families of the dead, and for the injured and their families, but I get this way when dealing with Lanier. It’s like ... any compassion could be viewed as weakness, and I am mortally terrified of showing weakness where he’s concerned.
“I’ll be okay, back to normal before you know it. In the interim ... I’m going to be very focused on us and ours, and working hard not to give a damn about anyone or anything else.”
Nathan McAllister
He’d missed the show at the farm. It pissed him off because he’d been assigned to watch the whore, Jenny Lind, some time earlier. If she was going to be purified, he should have been there.
No, he was stuck watching the children’s home, out in the cold, night after night.
I paid $150,000 for this?
He softly stomped his feet to ward off the cold. He remembered the boy with the neon-green hair. Those memories made his cock twitch.
Okay, it’s worth it. Can’t be in on all the fun. Sometimes you gotta do the grunt work. Besides, some of these kids ... little whores, each and every one.
East Side Children’s Home was quiet – not surprising given the hour – but he kept his eyes on it eschewing the binoculars he carried. No need, he had the best seat possible. Nathan was perched on the roof of a three-story abandoned building a half block away, so he had a good view. Aside from the usual city sounds, it was quiet.
If Nathan McAllister hadn’t been so alert, he might have missed the groaning of the roof behind him.
But he didn’t.
He turned and saw an impossible wall of white before him. In a second his face was shredded, one eyeball pierced, sharp knives ripping through him, down his neck, cutting so deeply into his chest they severed ribs. He died before the breath from his lungs could reach the sliced remnants of his vocal cords.
Thad
He woke up alert and listening for the slightest sound or flicker of motion. His adrenaline surged, he was ready to kill or be killed. The dim light from the alarm clock barely lit his side of the bed, leaving the rest of the room a deep black mystery.
Thad eased up out of the bed.
He stood like a statue, stretching his senses out into the room.
There was no movement, no sound ... until there was.
“I thought you were never going to wake up,” Li Kuan said from the darkness. “Put some clothes on, you look ridiculous. I’ll be waiting in your office.
It took but a moment to grab a robe and make his way to the office ... and Li Kuan looked as if she had been relaxing in the corner chair for hours.
“Did you order us coffee?” he asked, unable to keep the snark out of his voice.
“No, goes against the spirit of the whole unseen-and-unheard thing.”
“Mind if I have a pot sent up for us?”
“Only if the coffee is truly superb. Otherwise ... well, if your staff is clueless about coffee, I don’t imagine they’re any better when it comes to tea.”
“The coffee’s pretty good.”
“Then I’ll have a Coke.”
“God, you’re a bitch...”
“Yes, a bitch who has recently been reminded of her limitations.”
“Uh, should I be worried about where Puppy might be?”
“Not unless you’re thinking of cutting off our lines of retreat.”
“I wasn’t planning to, no.”
“She not stealthy enough – yet – to accompany me into places like this.”
“So, you give her a meaningless job to keep her out of the way?”
“Not meaningless. There’s a very short list of people I trust enough that I won’t set up a secure escape route. You’re not on that list.”
When she’d finished filling him in on her trip to Colorado, Thad said, “The money isn’t a problem. I don’t know these people who rescued Eddie and company, but they seemed pretty competent from what I heard.
“The problem is going to be finding any group willing to risk armed conflict, inside US borders, during an illegal-as-hell extraction. Bringing people out against their will...”
“Yes, it complicates things immensely – and very dangerously. I don’t see any other alternative, however. If anyone knows where the children are, it’s Thurmond and Lesley Nelson.”
“So, we’re looking for competent, morally flexible, and crazy.”
“I’d prefer just competent, but you’re not wrong,” Li Kuan snarled. “Unfortunately, the more they embody the last two qualifications, the more worrisome the whole exercise becomes.”
“Well, maybe we’ll find a group with an acceptable mix. Planning to stay for breakfast?”
“No, headed back to San Francisco as soon as we’re done. I was no sooner back in cell phone coverage than I got a backlog of messages from Dayna. Madam Gao has need of her services and I have left her ... watching ... someone.”
Jason
“So, why do you think you all slept so long and soundly this afternoon?” Susan asked.
“I don’t know ... well, I’m not sure. I think maybe it’s because we’re ... we’re almost there – we are there for all intents and purposes. With the Furry Lease alongside, nobody’s going to mess with us, another...”
He looked at the clock on her cabin wall.
“Another ten hours, we’ll be there. I ... I just feel ... safe. Sorta like sliding into home when I played Little League. Safe.”
“So,” Susan said, sipping her coffee, “you’re feeling relieved, out of fight-or-flight mode?”
Jason paused to think, to examine his feelings.
“Yeah...” he said at last. “Damn, I don’t remember when I felt this way last. Maybe in San Francisco, when we’d just got there, before Beebee and receptions and...”
“So, you don’t remember feeling this way then?”
“No, I just ... I just think that was the last time. It’s weird.”
“Not so weird, Jason. You’re traumatized – all of you are. Hell, I am. It’s not normal to go through what you have even before this trip, what all of us have since we sailed.”
“So who do you talk to about your trauma?”
“I didn’t have anyone close til Otter made us a thing. I could have called my therapist back in Waterloo, or my husband, but while phone sessions can be helpful, it didn’t feel right, or safe, to just call them.”
“Even after we got the encrypted phone?”
“Well, probably it would have if I’d bothered to think about it. But ... Otter’s a surprisingly good listener. She’s helped a lot.”
“So, am I wrong to feel ... relieved?” he asked.
“No feeling is wrong. You feel what you feel, Jason. How you react to that feeling is where things get complicated. But this?”
She leaned back.
“Kid, if I was you I’d be dancing, singing, and fucking anything that held still long enough.”
Jason looked her over and smirked.
“Trust me, I won’t hold still long enough. I’ll toss you into the master suite and tell them to not let you out ‘til we’re there.”
“Damn it,” Jason replied. “Doctor, you never let me have any fun...”
She smiled in return.
“I’m not here for fun, Jason. That’s why you have a cabin full of lovely and willing women.”
She pursed her lips and studied him for a moment.
“Have you noticed how you’re becoming free of certain societal constraints?”
“Excuse me?”
“Don’t know if you’ve really noticed, but you came to talk to me in your robe ... and there’s quite obviously nothing underneath it – don’t worry, you haven’t flashed me yet.
“You’re becoming at ease with your body, as well as sexual matters. Ask yourself if you’d have flirted with me six months ago.”
“Easy question to answer – no way in hell. Did I offend you?”
“No, silly man, you didn’t. Part and parcel of working with this group. Your wives are much more insistent.
“To further illustrate my point, let’s say Cancer and Caprico Nelson are tied up, on their knees before you – what would you do?”
“I’d kill them.”
“Yourself?”
“Isn’t fair to ask anyone else to do it. Why? Would you try to stop me?”
“Probably, but I must be honest and say my heart wouldn’t really be in my attempt.
“Would you consider turning them over to the police?”
“No. They have the money and connections to circumvent the law.”
“See what I mean? What would you have done six months ago?”
“Turned them over to the police. Is my ... freedom ... from social constraints a bad thing?”
“Not here to tell you what’s good and bad. I’m just here to raise the question, get you thinking about it. You have to decide that.”
“Gee, thanks...”
“Everyone is defined by their moral code. Most of the people in the world adopt their society’s codes, to one degree or another. Your family ... it seems to be forging its own way of dealing with the world. And while I’m not sure about you and your group, the Grimes and their friends are well aware of the social and legal ramifications if they’re outed or apprehended.
“Something else for you to think about.”
“Really, Doc, if you want me to stop coming to see you there are easier ways to do that,” Jason replied, his smile showing he was joking.
“Nah,” Susan said, grinning. “I’m happy we’re talking. Just doing my job.”
“Thank you ... I mean that. Father suggested I find people to advise me ... I was wondering if you might want to be part of that ... something for you to think about,” he finished with a grin of his own.
“Go on, get out of here,” Susan said. “Go find someone that will hold still for you.”
“Yes ma’am. Though I’m thinking of cuddling and more sleep.”
Donna
“I am going to miss having a fuck-pit around,” she said, snuggling between Jason and Yan.
“If you want one, my grandmother will gladly have one installed in your side of the estate,” Yan murmured, her breath warm against Donna’s shoulder. “Or you could live in our guest house at Clanglang...”
“Tempting offers both,” Donna said, slowly rolling over gaze into Yan’s eyes. “I could get very used to living in proximity to mother-in-law Beebee.”
“Think about that for a minute,” Yan replied with a smile. “While it’s true she won’t be trying to find a husband for you – my personal experience with her – she will nag you about that whole ‘grandchildren’ thing...”
“Not as much of a problem as you believe,” Donna said. “At least, not where we’re concerned. You might find it hellish.”
“And we’d still face the problem of traveling with children,” Jason said, taking his lips away from Mohini’s breast. “You know the Texas contingent is not going to be cool with babies that stay in California all the time.”
“Yeah,” Donna replied, “but if we were in the continental United States, we wouldn’t have to fly or go by yacht...”
“Are you thinking motorcade, RV, train?” Abby asked from where she was curled up at Jason’s feet entangled with Lizzy.
“I’m thinking semi-trailer, actually,” Donna replied. “Custom, of course.”
“With a security escort, I trust,” Tod said from near the door.
“Any way we could travel without one?” Jason asked.
“No,” Tod replied.
“Question asked and answered then, yes?” Donna said.
“I don’t see a problem with it,” Tod said, “just so long as we’re involved in the customization plans.”
“So, a big-ass luxury semi-trailer. Not very fuel efficient,” Jason said. “And a lot of expense for just occasional use...”
“I love the plan,” Yan said, “but, as our husband notes, expensive to create, and then more expense to operate. I suggest we just borrow Grandmother’s train cars.”
“There is that,” Donna agreed. “Tod, what’s our ETA at Molokai?”
“Last estimate I heard is 6 AM.”
“Otter?” Jason said.
“Yes, sir,” Otter replied.
“Let us sleep ‘til 7. We can have a last breakfast aboard, pack up our shit, and relocate afterward.”
“Yes, sir. The family sleeps ‘til 7, lazy subbie sluts will have everything packed and ready for moving by 7. Breakfast, then we transfer ashore.”
“Otter, that’s not what I said.”
“No, sir, but it’s what’s best. Trust me.”
“Don’t fight it, love,” Donna said. “Let our major domo do her job.
“Now it’s time for more cuddling, and anything else that might happen.”
“You know,” Jason said, “it took Abby and you to help me truly appreciate cuddling. Not that I had any experience with anything before Abby came along...”
“Hormonal frenzy is great,” Donna replied, “but it’s tiring. Cuddling, on the other hand...”
February 3rd, 2007, Friday – February 4th, 2007, Saturday Galena “Mama G, something’s up with you,” Regina said into Galena’s ear. “You’re right,” Galena replied. “And you don’t want to talk about it right now.” “No. We’ll see how our layover in San Francisco goes.” They’d been making their descent toward San Francisco for about twenty minutes. “What’s going to happen in San Francisco?” “I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure Madam Gao could have a plane ready when we land instead of there...
January 28th & 29th, 2007, Saturday & Sunday Harry Almost everyone had respected his request for some alone time. Esther had come in and sat at his side, more like a faithful dog than he felt comfortable with. She didn’t speak and he stroked her hair as he thought about Nadereh’s observations. It was obvious to him Nadereh was right. Harry instinctively reacted to women as weaker, less competent individuals than men. At the same time, his treatment of men was too distant, too...
February 2nd, 2007, Thursday Donna “So, traitor ... how long have you been working for Vanson and Saenz?” Bethany stared at Donna like she’d grown a second head. “I ... I don’t know ... what...” “Quit lying,” Jason said, grabbing Bethany by the hair, tightening his grip and bringing tears to her eyes. “What do you think Sebastien’s going to do when we report my suspicions to him?” Donna said. “He ... he won’t... ‘‘ “Cunt, he’s going to examine your financials, everything, looking for...
January 24th, 2007, Tuesday – January 25th, 2007, Wednesday Magda The three junior wives of Chorale sat at the family table near the kitchen, sipping hot tea and talking. “How sure are you?” Dominique asked. “Not absolutely sure, dammit. If I was, I’d be on the phone to Madam-wife immediately. But there’s enough rumors and whispers floating around to make our fears very likely. Madam Anna’s call was almost enough to make me certain.” Anna Smith had called to report rumors her girls and...
Donna It was done. Donna had wanted to believe it wouldn’t affect her, that righteous anger would carry her through, but by the end, the smell of burnt flesh and Shelley’s muffled screams were most of her reality. The other part of her reality was burning one letter at a time, not remembering the last letter, unsure of the next one. Donna would finish a letter, then pull back, and look at Shelley’s ruined face, realize what the next letter must be, and then begin again. Until at last...
January 22nd, 2007, Sunday Savannah Rowland She hung on a St. Andrew’s cross before her Mistress, Rosa Guzman, and Master Ernesto Salazar. The heads of San Antonio Society were not pleased, but they were calmer than they’d been when she returned to Texas after being sent away by Master Jason. “I hear your urinal service with House Fuentes was deemed ... adequate,” Master Salazar said. “Yes, Master. So it was described to me.” “But every other House you served had nothing good to say...
January 26th, 2007, Thursday Thad He hadn’t been expecting a dinner invitation from Madam Gao, much less one to dine at the Waterbar with its stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge. When he and Kjirsten arrived, he was surprised to see Dayna Spyderchylde seated beside Madam Gao. “No talk of business until after dinner,” Madam Gao proclaimed. That suited Thad perfectly and so their meal was uninterrupted by serious matters. With after-dinner coffee, Thad admired the view of the bridge...
Thad (continued) A large table, with a comfortable chair behind it, filled the center of the room. Both of the side walls were covered in drawers, like the walls were really huge filing cabinets. The back wall, behind the table, were glassed in shelves, filled with hundreds of small bottles containing ... well, Thad wasn’t sure what. Small objects floating in some fluid. He didn’t have a good feeling about what those were. On the table itself, coin trays, black velvet bags and gemstone...
Harry “This is half the house?” he asked, looking up from the foyer, past the matching grand staircases. Wide hallways led off to the right and left, on both floors. “Actually, no, sir,” Vince, one of the house staff said. “This is about a quarter. Another quarter to the other wing, another to the common area, and the last to Madam Gao’s rooms. “Jesus F-in’ Christ,” Harry sighed. “Chorale South is larger...” Margo said. “Yeah, but it’s not this...” “It’s not designed for shock and awe,”...
Chapter 3 Part 1 Susan Lowenstein It looked like maybe, just maybe, she’d get a second chance. She leaned back on her bed, lighting a large blunt. There were days she regretted starting to work with Chorale. Not that she didn’t love them – she did – but the waters were deep and there were a lot of people swimming in them, trying to avoid the sharks that were circling. The analogy was a little suspect, but nonetheless valid. There was a quick knock at the door, and before she had time to...
Li Kuan Mr. Xu was a Waterloo institution. In a world with pawn shops in seemingly every strip mall along the roads, “Xu’s Pawn” was a throw-back to the pawn shops of old, and was located on South Congress Avenue, which served as Waterloo’s Main Street. Oh, it had its share of mass-produced garbage, but it also had odd, truly one-of-a-kind items, and generally served a higher class of customers than its sleazier strip mall cousins. Above the long center counter was a sign. “If you don’t...
January 21st, 2007, Saturday On the top floor of a downtown Waterloo building He put down his still-lit pipe, and walked over to the heavy blackout curtains. For the first time in several years he opened them, and stood in the light of the sun. “Every bit as annoying as I remembered.” Out of the sunlight, from the darkened doorway to his office, someone moved. “You’re awake. I woke up, you weren’t in bed ... I worried,” she said. “Couldn’t sleep,” he replied. “I decided to think for a...
January 30th, 2007, Monday Karen “I don’t wanna go home,” Karen said, stretching as she lay in bed with her partner, Patricia. “Told you so,” Patricia said. “You didn’t want to come, you’d have rather had a more conventional honeymoon, or no honeymoon at all, than come to a clothing-optional resort...” Karen let her kvetch, as everything Trish said was true and Karen had been wrong. When her love had wound down, Karen smirked, “So, I should just expect you to be right all the...
(January 17, 2007 Wednesday continued) Galena At the moment, none of the office-managers-in-training were on her Christmas card list. It would pass, as such things always did, but damn... “Convince me not to do something stupid, Rhonda,” Galena said, leaning on the receptionist’s desk. “Define ‘stupid’, G,” Rhonda replied. “If it’s likely to produce spectacular fireworks, I might just let you go ahead.” “‘Stupid’ would be telling our overlord trio to either get their shit together, or...
February 5th, 2007, Sunday Jason He woke to the smells of brunch from the kitchen downstairs. West, being the highest house on the slope and furthest from the villa entrance, looked to be two, maybe two-and-a-half times the size of the other three. There was a lot of room, plenty of room for Galena and her crew, and West had the largest dining room as well. And if he was smelling brunch, Jason had slept longer than he’d thought he would. He slid up on one elbow and leaned over Bethany’s...
January 23nd, 2007, Monday Carol It was information she could get nowhere else she knew of. Still, calling Lanier’s people was enough to make her wish there was any other way. While Margo was shopping at Mr. Antiquity’s for her and Harry’s clothes for the trip to Dominique’s that night, with Kelly’s enthusiastic, if very chilled, help, Carol phoned the ‘medium important’ number on Lanier’s card, bundled up warmly under a blanket in the office. There were a series of very soft clicks, an...
January 21st, 2007, Saturday Mohini She regarded her blind-folded son-in-law ... her son, for the purposes of the afternoon’s fun. “There are other people here, son,” she said. “They’re here to witness your punishment.” Jason started, but held his tongue, and his position, kneeling before her in the nadu pose. They had discussed this with Jason prior to the scene. He knew Yan and Dr. Lowenstein were there, but he was sinking into his role. Mohini pulled him to her, roughly, and held his...
January 19th, 2007, Thursday Andrew “What?” “If security had felt you were at risk, they would have moved you and Teuila to the guest lodge’s safe room,” Margo replied. “And you’re just telling me this now...” Andrew said, resisting the urge to pace. “Yes, Master Kiraly,” Kelly said. “We thought we’d have you two over for dinner again, and let you know what had happened. We were ... occupied ... immediately afterward.” “Do I want to know with what?” “That’s a very good question,...
January 24th, 2007, Tuesday Jason “Ya know, if I’d drank last night, I’d be hung-over as hell right now,” he said, settling in at the table. “Instead of just still being a little stoned,” Abby said. “Yeah, maybe a wee bit. Where’s everyone else?” “I’m not sure, sir. ‘Llita, where’s everybody?“ Their curvaceous chef popped her head around the corner and replied, “At the beach, I believe, Milady. They all helped the staff with cleaning the common area before breakfast, ate, and then...
January 18th, 2007, Wednesday continued Kelly Although Kelly wasn’t sure she deserved it, Master Kiraly seemed to be more at ease with her – less overt anger and hatred - than he’d begun the interview with. “All right,” Master Kiraly said. “You’ve won the lottery, a big payout. What’s the very first thing you do?” “Pay off student loans, reimburse Mom and Dad for school. But that’s only first because those are the only real financial debts I have. More importantly ... well, Carol’s turned...
January 20th, 2007, Friday and into January 21st, 2007, Saturday Tamara When word reached her of the burning cross in the field on the far side of the road, she ran to find Papa Earl. He was standing in the Nelson children’s bedroom, looking out toward the cross through the window. “Papa?” At first, he didn’t answer, and Tamara gave him a few moments. “Yes?” he finally replied. “I can’t know what you’re feeling, but I don’t think you should be feeling it alone. And since Mama Kissie’s...
February 3rd, 2007, Friday Margo “While I understand her reasoning ... it galls me we don’t know where they’re going,” she said. “Part of me knows they’re safer if we don’t, but still...” “Yeah, me too,” Harry said. “Talking with Beebee ... as soon as the place she’s having built for them at Canglang is finished, she’ll bring them there until things straighten out.” “Well,” Kelly said, “a private estate in Marin County ... pretty safe bet no one’s crazy enough to attack it like they did...
February 5th, 2007, Sunday Tatiana There were days she swore she was a thousand years old. Today it was only a couple of hundred. Lying in bed, Chiron at her side, she listened to the faint sounds of Bedisa working in the kitchen. “I don’t want to get up, old man,” Tattie said. “While normally I might encourage your sloth, Mistress,” Chiron replied, “it would be setting a bad example for the children.” “Yes it would,” she replied. “I’m okay with that.” “Mistress ... they need you. They...
January 21st, 2007, Saturday Eddie “I don’t think this is a good idea, boss,” Kendry said, wrapping Eddie’s hands. “Neither do I, Edward,” Tamara said. “Of course you don’t, sweetheart,” Eddie replied, leaning over to kiss his wife’s cheek. “To tell you the truth, I don’t think so either. It’s just that the alternative to facing him here might get other people hurt.” “But you believe you’ll win?” Tamara asked. Eddie turned to look her in the eyes. “No. I think the muthafucka’s gonna...
January 21st, 2007, Saturday Dommi “So, were you planning on pulling me away for the night, or did Kendry make a deal with you?” Sebastien smiled, and Dommi understood once again just how strong his personal charisma could be. “Planned. Honey, Kendry couldn’t have offered me anything, including the throne of Dallas, to stop me from trying to drag you off for mad kinky adventures.” “And if I’d said ‘no’?” “I would have been disappointed ... and had to make do with the two other guys and...
January 30th, 2007, Monday – January 31st, 2007, Tuesday Jason They returned to the suite to find Baby Sister nursing at Mother’s breast, while their step-sister Yan, and sisters Lizzy and Abby enjoyed a daisy chain of oral sex. Once Yan noticed their return, she broke the chain and came to welcome them. “We didn’t mean to stop your fun,” Jason said, kissing his step-sister and tasting Lizzy on her lips. “Oh, it was just a very pleasant way to occupy ourselves while you dawdled bringing...
February 4th, 2007, Saturday – February 5th, 2007, Sunday Carol “Do you want to argue with her?” “Yes,” Dommi replied. “Then be my guest,” Carol said, as the two old friends walked around the mostly empty club. “Maybe you should talk with her, my little cherubic diplomat...” Dommi said. “No. If you want an argument with the senior Domme in our House, you’re going to be the one to make it happen. I’ll moderate, but you’re going to stick your butt in that buzzsaw, not me.” “The House...
January 27th, 2007, Friday – January 28th, 2007, Saturday Donna “But Sister,” Lizzy wailed, “I need to fuck ... can’t it wait?” “No, dear ... don’t worry, Brother will take care of you ... after.” “Lizzy, go on,” Jason said. “Sister Donna’s told you it’s time for you to be punished. Don’t make your sister wait or she might just leave you strapped to the bench.” Donna watched her sister Lizzy get to her feet and run to the spanking bench, getting into position. “I’ll be good, Sister,”...
February 1st, 2007, Wednesday – February 2nd, 2007, Thursday Helen Newton Knowing the story hadn’t prepared her for seeing the three of them tell the story, faces blank and voices flat. Helen had scant experience with PTSD, but she was willing to bet anything that would be part of the diagnosis for Jason, Donna, and Abby. She’d run back to the guest lodge, going all out, trying to pound those expressions and voices out of her mind. “This ... this is what I meant...” Pika said, pulling up...
January 19th, 2007, Thursday Abby “So, you really don’t mind...” “Honey, I not only don’t mind, I think it’s a marvelous idea,” Donna said. “You should pursue an education as far as you wish.” “I feel the same,” Yan said. “What universities are you considering?” “It is very early in the game to think of higher education,” Abby replied, smiling. “I will require a lot of tutoring to even get a GED.” “And you’ll get all the tutoring you need,” Jason mumbled, still very much out of...
January 28th, 2007, Saturday Yan “A call for you, Mistress.” Yan accepted the encrypted sat phone. “Yes? This is Gao Yan...” “Hello, granddaughter, how are you?” “Very happy, Grandmother.” “Wonderful,” Madam Gao replied and Yan could hear the joy in her grandmother’s voice. “I am so pleased you found a good match. So as to children...” “Grandmother, it’s a little early in things, even for you. We’re not even married yet.” “Yes, and about that...” “No, we haven’t discussed it. I...
January 31st, 2007, Tuesday Helen Newton Her sister’s call had surprised her ... mostly because Helen hadn’t expected her brother-in-law to get too much exercise on the honeymoon outside the bedroom. His commitment boded well for his training. The rest of the ‘surprise factor’ had been Donna wanting to start his training during their honeymoon. Of course, Helen realized they had good reason to want training to start this soon. She had phoned Hau’oli Mala and given them her arrival time,...
January 20th, 2007, Friday Nick Philouma “I want the two of you out of here. I want you somewhere safe. And somewhere the Feds can’t find you.” “Three of us,” Gianetta Philouma reminded him. “The three of you, then,” Nick said, briefly smiling. “No,” his lover Randy said. “I agree,” Gianetta said. “No. We’re not leaving.” “Have either of you considered I command big burly men who will carry you if necessary?” “Bring them on,” Randy said. “Between Gia and I, well ... she’ll hurt them...
January 23nd, 2007, Monday Emily De Jesus, Federal Prosecutor in Charge of the Western District “Listen, Miz De Haysoos,” Mike Vaughn, Homeland Security Director of the Western District said, “two goddamn terrorist attacks in the capitol of Texas in a two month span is ridiculous. You have a goddamn problem and your law enforcement ain’t doing shit about ‘em so far!” “First, get your fists off my desk, Mr. Vaughn. Second, you spit when you speak so back up. Third, consider breath mints....
January 27th, 2007, Friday Harry “Who’s on my bladder?” he muttered. “Oops, that would be me,” Kelly said. “Bathroom trip?” “Yes, my love.” Harry watched her roll out of bed and run her hands through her natural. “Goddamn you’re beautiful...” “Thank you, Sir. You’re very handsome, Sir.” “Even if I believed that,” he said, taking her arm and rising, “it’s nothing compared to the three of you.” “As you say, Sir. I shan’t argue.” “Good ... I’d hate to paddle that ass this early in the...
January 24th, 2007, Tuesday – January 25th, 2007, Wednesday Kendry She watched Eddie sleep. This wasn’t the way things were supposed to go. Home – and Dominique’s had been home longer than the house Eddie had bought, or Chorale South – was supposed to be safe. But it wasn’t like anything had gone the way it was supposed to in a very long time. She’d found love and a family, but not like Kendry had ever imagined it would be. Every time Tamara was kind to Kendry, much less encouraged her...
February 1st, 2007, Wednesday Yan “Good idea...” Yan said around a mouthful of ice cream and strawberry syrup. “Hard to go wrong with ice cream,” Jason said. Yan watched him go somewhere else as he fell into a thousand mile stare. She was patient, enjoying her ice cream, letting him be wherever he’d gone to. When he blinked and smiled and refused to meet her gaze, she said, “So, where were you?” “Uh ... well ... whenever Mom ... was inappropriate ... she’d apologize over sundaes. And...
January 25th, 2007, Wednesday Gianetta ‘Jan’ Philouma nee Bruno “Carlos, where’s my sister-in-law?” she asked. “I believe she is ... uh... ‘patrolling the perimeter’, Senora.” “Please send someone to ... never mind. I’m sure...” “Hey, Jan,” Paula Philouma said as she walked in. “Heard you were looking for me.” Jan slowly rubbed her eyes, wishing she’d been able to sleep. “You’re sure he’s not dead?” Paula flowed into the chair next to her sister-in-law. “Positive, honey. If he was...
January 31st, 2007, Tuesday – February 1st, 2007, Wednesday Susan She watched the two of them tenderly and cautiously exploring each other. Jason was young enough – and honest enough – to admit he doesn’t know everything. Susan mentally thanked Abby and Donna again for nurturing that attitude. Moving closer, which earned a smile from Jason, she could hear them talk. “So, is this your clit or...” “It’s my clit, yes. Just a rather big one as clits go, far too small to be anything...
Even with the worries over the pain in Harry's lower back, the young women were feeling a sense of relief, an easing of the worry and fear they'd been living under since the attack. They were finally convinced that given time to heal, Harry was going to be okay. The men that had hurt him had been dealt with and no one had any doubt that Benjamin Sapperstein was living on borrowed time. Nicki'd gone to take a nap, so Carol and Kelly had wasted no time getting naked and falling into each...
Jen was seventeen years old, with long light brown hair falling to the small of her back. Her Asian background showed in her sexy body, her breasts considerably big for her small, lithe form. She was a lot like her mother, and her older sister, Sandra, who was also similar looking. At the moment, Jen was walking along the sidewalk, totally content with herself. After receiving a 4.0 GPA, she felt pretty good. Pausing to look at her house, she decided to walk to the park. Opting for the long...
"My Beloved Harry, My Precious Carol, It's 3 AM and I have to go. Please believe me when I say this is the hardest goodbye I've ever skipped out on. If I stayed to say it face-to-face, I'm not sure I could go. Know in your hearts I will see you again. Know in your hearts I will come home to you. My love is with you always, entwined with your souls, Margo" Carol awoke to the smell of coffee. Straightening her collar she walked into the kitchen to find Harry at the table. He stared...
Saturday 10/14/06 10:00 AM "Rise and shine, Master, Mistress, subbies galore!" rasped Dayna. "In two hours Dommi will be here to discuss scheduling." "She can fuckin' join us in bed," Carol said from under the covers. "So will Nancy Velacourt," Dayna continued. "She can definitely join us in bed," Harry said in a muffled voice. "Nope, she likes little oriental girls, you don't qualify," Dayna said. "Dammit." Harry's head came out from under the covers, and he grabbed a...
Patrick and Snake fight. Who will win? Love is worth fighting for, but will it give Patrick the edge? * Patrick slid on his bottom over the front of the car and into the front door as quietly as he could, Jerry followed. They crept stealthily down the hallway and towards the room that the voices were coming from. There seemed to be lot of shouting, loud deep voices kicking off, and the two men pushed the door that stood ajar to the room more open and slipped inside. The scene that was in...
On the way home the main thing that could be heard was the CD players in both of the trucks doing what they were supposed to be doing. Challa’s truck pulled off ahead of me and I heard Randy Travis talking about “I’m Going Love You Forever and Forever, Amen”. While the CD player in my truck was working The Dramatics CD, “The Dramatic Jackpot”. I was listening to “Me, Myself, & I”. I was truly lost in my own thoughts about how folks would take to these birds becoming part of our tribe....

This is a romantic crime thriller which contains some romantic sex, some non consensual sex, some male on male violence, and a lot of very interesting and interacting characters, with some twists and turns in the story. I have tried to keep things as tasteful as I can, keeping in mind some peoples sensitivity. As with all my stories there is not always a nice tidy happy ending for everyone – life is just not like that. * Rachel felt very woozy as she looked down at the now nearly empty...

Dr. Margo Wohler-Sapperstein. What a joke, Margo thought to herself. All her life she had been driven by the will of her parents, driven to achieve, to excel, to succeed, to exceed. Even now, even after their deaths, she felt their cold hands on her life, steering her future from beyond the grave. They hadn't lived to see her move away from the family practice she loved into cosmetic surgery. But they'd planned it. They hadn't lived to see her marry Benjamin in what could only be...
January 1, 2007 Dayna She’d wanted to call the Grimes as soon as they were on their way back to the city, and then she’d looked at the time. Two-something Pacific Standard was after 4 in Chicago. Dayna had resolved to call them first thing when she woke up. She’d considered setting a wake-up call, but after the night they’d had... It felt to her like a walk of shame as they crossed the lobby. They’d left in their finery, and were coming back in ... well, Beebee hadn’t stinted on the...
All the characters have their part to play in this romantic crime thriller. Will Patrick escape from Snake and will Rachel go with him? As with all my stories there is not always a nice tidy happy ending for everyone — life is just not like that. * Rachel stared up at the man standing over her, the empty wine bottle in his hand. He was like her worst nightmare come true. Dark black eyes stared down at her with a mad kind of enjoyment, a cruel parody of a smile on his face did nothing to...
"What?! These three are matched in the three way battle?!" "Did I hear wrong? Right from the second round they are going to create such a ferocious fight?!" "But selection of participants is random. The judges won't cheat. This just must be these three's bad luck..." Remark after remark of disbelief resounded after Talhera summoned Silvia, Zax and Woren to the first fighting stage. "Zax", Don turned to him solemnly. "Don't be complacent like in the first round. Although Silvia...
Time is moving towards the escape, but now there are complications. Will Patrick and Rachel be reunited, or will Snake manage to continue to make their life hell. I hope you are enjoying this multi part 2 to Rattling Snakes Cage and the many colourful characters whos paths cross in this romantic crime thriller. * The noise in the D wing shower room was overpowering, with the roar of twenty or so showers thundering water onto old white tiles, and the deep cadence of naked prisoners talking...

"Harry - Captain Thrust ... whoever the hell you are, don't you dare get in my way!" Tattie, the Duchess Turov, spat as she hauled the struggling Third Mate Bum into the house. "Wouldn't think of it, Duchess me darlin'," Thrust chortled. "Just try to leave me crewman in one piece when ye're through." "Oh, no worries there, Captain," she replied. "I won't do anything permanent." Her eyes snapped back to where Bum was scrambling along on all fours behind Turov's long-legged...
Love means gambling your freedom against the need to rescue the one you love. Patrick goes to liberate Rachel from Snake, whilst Tony, John and their friends storm down to the lab to set free the redheaded girl from the basement. Will they succeed? * Davy banged his fist on the wall that was between the inside of the van and the driver’s cab where Danny sat driving it slowly in the heavy traffic. He glanced behind him at Jerry and Patrick who sat balanced on the overturned motorbikes staring...
Late on Saturday afternoon Dave shifted into his job as one of the bartenders for the Circle. Just as he was ready for a first customer, Emma came racing up to the bar. She was alone and only wearing a monokini, unlike a few hours earlier when her parents and younger sister had visited and she was dressed conservatively. She extended her body over the bar and kissed Dave. “Thank you for being so nice to my parents and sister.” “Of course. They’re nice people. I take it they don’t know a...
