Without anyone saying anything all seven teenagers, and all still naked, walked in unison across the mall to the community notice board. Shona was right. There was a large flyer on the notice board advertising the same Teen Beauty Pageant that had been cancelled only just a little while ago now.
“They must have found new financial backers” said Jamahl. “It’s still being organised and sponsored by the National Trust For Lifestyle Nudism but ... wow! ... would you look at what they are offering now as prize money. Jeepers, creepers! Goodness me, that is a lot of money!”
All eyes scanned down the poster to the bottom. But right at the bottom in amongst all the smaller print was the take home prize money amount for the first, second and third place winners.
“Wow!” said Chris. “That’s almost five times the amount they were offering last time. They must be really serious in promoting this thing to put up money like that. They must really want this pageant to be a showcase and a draw card for Lifestyle Nudism in no uncertain terms!”
“ ... and fifty thousand dollars for first place is a pretty good incentive if you asked me” added Jamahl. “I’d even quite easily settle for the ten thousand for third place if I thought I had half a chance.”
“I reckon you girls should all have a go” carried on Chris. “I reckon each one of you stands a really good chance of winning something there. Shona finally spoke up for the girls and said, “Well ... I will do it ... just for the money though ... I’m not sure I agree with the whole thing but having a shot at fifty grand is pretty tempting. But I will only do it if you two guys enter. Even if you don’t think you will get anywhere I still think you should enter. I don’t want it to be just us girls, Jamahl. I want you to have a go too.”
