“Will?” she said, having answered immediately.
“Hey, Kay, sorry it’s a little later than I said. Ready to go?” he asked, smiling at the sound of his girl friend’s voice.

“Oh yeah, it definitely happens,” she said, giggling. “You can be kinda bad and it’s funny, but after a certain point—like if you don’t even know the song—I’ve seen people get booed so hard they cry. People yell and swear sometimes, too.”
Will gulped involuntarily, imagining an entire club booing him after Alaina’s critique of his singing. “Um ... You wouldn’t pick a song I didn’t know that was also hard, would you?”
“I thought you were really confident? Um...” Kay paused. “I’m, um, at the door ... This outfit’s not like, a prank, right? I mean, I get why you’d want me to wear it, but it’s really not my style, and if it’s some kinda like, practical joke—”
He stared at Alaina. I trust her. “Kay, I promise, you’ll fit right in and won’t be the least bit uncomfortable. Alaina’s wearing something interesting, too.”
His girlfriend arched an eyebrow at him, then started to giggle quietly, clamping her hand over her mouth.
“Okay...” said Kay. She took a deep breath. “I’ll see you in a sec, then.”
The call ended.
Will slowly pulled the phone from his ear and placed it into his pocket. “She said she’ll be out any second,” he said, looking between his girlfriend and the door to Kay’s building. “She’s really concerned about what she’s wearing. Are you going to tell me—”
“Oh, she is?” Alaina pulled the handle of her door. “Come on, let’s get out and greet her!” She stepped out and closed the door behind her.
The door to Kay’s building swung open, and the soon-to-be accountant stepped out with uncertain steps, looking around. Her head turned towards Alaina and she froze.
Will got out of his car quickly, watching in fascination. Wow, I didn’t expect that at all.
Kay started walking towards them again, her boots clicking audibly as she neared.
Will goggled as he caught more details in the closer and brighter lighting.
She stood in front of his car, staring at Alaina.
“Um ... Hi, I’m Alaina,” said Alaina, staring back at Kay with a tentative smile. “I like your outfit!”
“I get it now,” Kay said, turning to Will with a scowl. “Very funny. I can’t believe I agreed to this. I thought—”
“Actually, um, I picked it,” said Alaina, stepping forward slowly. “I...” she trailed off as she continued to walk forward, her eyes never leaving the older girl.
“You did?” Kay asked, her scowl changing targets.
“Well,” Alaina said, moving even closer. She leaned in and started speaking in a whisper that was too soft for Will to hear.
Will leaned against his car and finally shut his mouth, staring at the two girls who were wearing nearly identical outfits—the only difference being that Kay’s halter-neck went around behind her neck, showing off just enough cleavage to be enticing. She held a small, red purse in her hands as she whispered back and forth with Alaina, occasionally shaking her head or nodding.
Even their lipstick is the same color, I think. Alaina—
“Really?” Kay said, giving Alaina a surprised look which quickly turned appraising.
“Really.” Alaina confirmed, smiling widely.
“Okay, that’s a new one,” Kay said, a smile forming on her face. “Really?” she asked again, sounding incredulous.
“Not even a little,” said Alaina, giggling.
Kay looked at Will.
He furrowed his brow, giving both girls a confused look. “Uh ... Did I miss something?”
Kay turned back to Alaina, giving her a sweet smile. “That’s so cool of you. I’m in.” She gave the other girl a hug.
Alaina pressed her face against the other girl’s shoulder, and the embrace lasted just a tiny bit longer than Will expected.
She’s definitely scheming something. Do I need to be worried?
Kay clicked over to him after the pair separated. “You’ve got a pretty cool girl friend, Will,” she said, giving him a happy smile.
Will looked over at Alaina, who raised an eyebrow as she walked back to her side of the car, carrying Kay’s purse. “I do, don’t I?”
“Hey, I meant me, not your girlfriend!” said Kay, putting her hands on her hips as she looked up at him.
“Uh...” Will looked over just as the rear door on the passenger side closed.
“I, um, I kinda missed you this week, Will,” his girl friend said. She moved closer, standing on her tip toes as she leaned against him, and gave him a tender, sweet kiss with the gentlest of brushes of her tongue against his. She draped her arms over his shoulders and cooed happily. “Wow, you taste good! Is that some kind of spray or something?”
“Er ... What’s going—”
She pulled away, ignoring his question. “Toby missed you too,” she said just before she gave him another sweet kiss, running her hands up around the back of his head. “C’mon, let’s go!” She clicked back around the other side of the car, then pulled open the front door and got in.
What the hell’s going on. Will looked through the window and saw both girls looking at him expectantly. He hesitated for a moment before opening his door and getting in. He fastened his seatbelt, then looked to his right.
“Something wrong, Will?” asked Alaina from the backseat.
“Er...” Will said, turning back to look at her.
“I said to relax and have fun like normal, didn’t I?” she said, giggling at him.
“Does he normally taste that good?” Kay asked.
“Nope, that’s new since we started going out,” Alaina said. “Like it?”
“Hm ... I’m not like, the biggest fan of blueberries, but I really like that flavor,” Kay said. “In fact...” She leaned in and gave Will a tongue-filled kiss on the side of his neck. “I want another kiss to make up for how anxious I was all day.” She gave him another soft kiss on his neck, and he felt himself starting to harden.

Whatever, I’ll get some answers later or figure it out as I go. He pulled himself back into his seat just in time for Kay to dive across the armrest and into his arms.
“You didn’t mention that your girlfriend was hot,” Kay whispered into his ear. She kissed around to his mouth, leaving him with a playful kiss before returning to her seat.
Will blinked, looking back and forth between Kay and Alaina.
Both girls smiled back at him: one happily and one wickedly.
“Alright, where to?” Will asked Kay, deciding once and for all not to question it again for the time being.
“Did you like the club last week?” Kay asked in return. “That’s kinda my favorite place right now because they’ve got the best setup and it’s pretty close by. But we could go somewhere else if you wanna check out a different place?”
“That place was fine,” Will said. “The DJ was kind of an asshole, but I have cash.”
Kay gave him a confused look. “Will, you don’t have to pay the DJ to sing.”
“You do if you want him to play a song he really doesn’t want to play,” Will said, smirking at her.
The older girl’s hands shot to her mouth, and she started to laugh. “You bribed him? Oh, that’s what that Jackson twins comment was about!” She rocked her head back into her seat and shook with laughter. “We’ve been trying to figure that out all week! We all kept thinking it was some kind of music reference, but none of us could figure out who the Jackson twins were.”
Will put the car into reverse and started backing out of his spot.
“Hold on, I think you deserve a little something for that,” Kay said, beckoning him closer. “C’mere.”
He turned his head and dutifully leaned over to receive a kiss.
She licked the tip of his nose. “Payback for last time.”
Will wrinkled his wet nose at her before returning to his previous task of getting out of the parking lot. “I didn’t realize you were holding a grudge over that. Do I need to drool on you in your sleep next for us to really be even?”
“Oh my god!” Kay blushed. “I can’t believe you brought that up in front of...” She trailed off, looking up into the mirror.
Alaina giggled in the backseat. “So you drool when you sleep, huh?”
“No!” Kay whined pitifully, covering her face with her hands. “It was just that one time, I swear! I don’t usually drool!”
“Don’t worry, Kay. Alaina drools, too, sometimes.”
“I do not!”
“She does?”
“Yeah, even the pillow was soaked,” Will said as he turned back onto the road. “Less like drool and more like a flood, to be honest. I heard they might even start a new weather alert for it.”
“You’re full of shit,” Kay said, laughing anyway.
“Yeah, I never drool,” Alaina huffed.
“Alaina,” Will pushed at his words, “you definitely drooled all over my arm while you slept.” He watched in the rear view mirror as she pressed her hands to her face.
“No!” she whined pitifully.
Will turned to Kay and winked. “What can I say, girls just can’t stay dry around me.”
Kay laughed harder. “I should’ve let Mary have you for a bit last week. I’d pay money to see you two banter.”
“Hm, Mary seemed like a good friend,” Will remarked, recalling her aggressive blonde friend.
Kay blew a raspberry at him. “Yeah, yeah, she told me she was just trying to set us up. I can’t believe you noticed it and I didn’t.”
“You were probably too distracted,” Will said.
“That’s true,” Kay said, sighing happily. “That was a really good night.” She looked over at him. “Can we, um...” She looked up into the mirror. “Do you mind if we hold hands for a bit, Alaina?”
“If you want,” said Alaina, a moment before she put her phone back into her bag.
Kay gave him a smile. “You want to, right?” She held her hand out on the center armrest.
Will placed his palm on top of hers, and she clasped it around the side.
“Mmm, your hands are warm,” Kay said. “It’s still pretty cold out.” She looked up into the mirror. “Aren’t you cold, Alaina?”
“Nope.”
“Yeah, I’m not sure I believe that considering we’re wearing the same thing,” said Kay. “Give me your hand, I wanna check.” She reached her right hand back around the side of her seat.
Will watched as Alaina shifted in the backseat.
“Wow, your hand’s so warm!” Kay exclaimed.
“Y-yeah,” Alaina said.
Kay shivered a little. “Brrr, I don’t wear short skirts often, especially when it’s still this cold out.”
Will reached over to turn up the heat on the center console and flipped on the seat warmer.
Alaina shifted in the backseat again, leaning on her door. “Is that better?”
“How are your hands so warm and I’m so cold!” Kay complained. She started rubbing her legs together, then looked over at Will. “You wanna help warm me up, too, Will?”
“Yeah, I just turned your seat warmer on, give it a sec,” Will said, coming to a stop as he narrowly missed a traffic light.
“I was hoping for something a little more immediate,” Kay said. She thumbed the back of his hand. “Mmm, your hand is pretty warm, too. Let’s put that somewhere more useful...” She dragged his hand over into her lap and slotted it between her legs, which didn’t feel all that cold to him. “Much better,” she said, turning to give him a big grin.
“That doesn’t look like hand-holding,” Alaina said.
“What do you mean?” Will asked, looking in the mirror at his girlfriend. “She’s holding my hand.”
Kay took hold of his wrist and started to slowly turn and direct his hand up her skirt while she looked into the mirror. “Yeah, I’m just holding it in my lap so I can be more comfortable, Alaina. Mmm, by the way, has anyone ever told you that you have very soft hands?”
His fingertips brushed against something soft that radiated heat.
Kay jumped a tiny bit, but didn’t look over at him.

Wait, this is okay, isn’t it? He looked in the mirror, but Alaina seemed distracted by something. She said to enjoy myself like normal, and this seems pretty normal.
Kay’s left hand reached over and settled onto his crotch, moving in a slow circle. “How do you like my outfit, Will?” she asked. “You never did—mmm—say.” She squeezed his erection through his jeans, and Will noticed the material against his fingers was now noticeably more damp than when he’d started.

We should make it up to him.” She leaned in and pressed her lips to his, cupping his face as she tried her best to convey her feelings in a kiss.
Well that’s a relief. But definitely not cool, Alaina.
“Sorry,” she said once more, giving him another soft, sweet kiss.
“If you keep giving me more kisses like that the rest of the night, I might have to forgive you,” Will said, grinning.
She gave him another one. “Like that?” She gave him another, a goofy smile forming on her face. “How about that one?”
A timid knock sounded on his window. He looked out and spotted Alaina looking in with a a slightly worried expression.
“I think she wants to apologize, too,” said Kay.
“Think I should make her work for it a little?” Will asked, looking back to her.
“I, um, think ... if you really like her, and you just started going out, you probably shouldn’t play games like that...” Kay said, chewing on her lip a little.
“Seems like good advice,” he said, nodding while he thought it over. “Give us a minute? I’ll leave the car on so it stays warm for you.”
She nodded, looking relieved.
Will opened the door slowly, giving Alaina enough time to step out of the way, and closed it behind him.
“Um ... Sorry...” Alaina moved to stand in front of him, fidgeting, a disappointed look on her face. “That seemed like it would be a lot funnier in my head, but it kind of ended up just being mean, huh?” She looked up. “Sorry, Will. Um ... I won’t do anymore teasing or anything like that, okay?”
“You know, I thought you were really upset at me,” Will said.
“I wasn’t—”
“I was worried that I might have done something you were really upset about,” he reiterated. “I’m not a stranger to pranks and practical jokes—you should hear some of the ones Daniel and his brothers have pulled, they’re unreal—but that one really worried me.” He reached up with his right hand and cupped the side of her face. “Can we agree no more of those kinds of jokes?”
Alaina took his hand in hers and brought it up to her mouth, giving it a tender kiss. “Yeah, I promise.” She kissed his hand again. “I’m really sorry, that was stupid.”
Will pulled his hand back slowly, drawing her against him. He leaned down and gave her a warm kiss. “I forgive you. But if you stop all the teasing, I might change my mind.”
“You liked that, huh?” Alaina said, resting her chin on his chest. She puckered her lips, and he kissed her again. “I guess I have to be extra nice to you for the rest of the night now, don’t I?” She grinned. “It’s a good thing we brought backup to help me out.”
“Are you going to tell me the rest of your plan now?” Will asked.
She stood up on her tip toes and tugged on his shirt until he kissed her again, feeling a familiar refreshing feeling run through his body. “Mmm, nope! Not without a lot more kisses than we have time for before Kay starts to get upset.” She giggled, then broke away from his embrace to click back over to the passenger side of the car.
Alaina opened Kay’s door. “Sorry, Kay! I messed up.”
Will opened his own door and pressed the button to turn off the car as his girl friend stepped out.
The two girls had their heads together and were whispering again for a moment before Alaina opened her door and grabbed her own purse out of the backseat.
