I truly loved the story and ideas, However I felt that it lacked a bit of
realism, so I modified the original to this. Been a while since I truly
transformed a character, and to be fair it couldn't happen to a nicer
guy.
Out of respect to Miss Wood I have kept the character names the same. Out
of respect to the story much of the original is altered.

All physical changes complete, results are an unqualified success,

I never asked for her to be an idiot, I only wanted her to be happy as a
woman, and receptive to other people's feelings. Can cognitive impairment
be reversed? Will she be able to return to my side as a co-owner?

All treatment has stopped, well not all, while I am not visiting nurse

I sit for lunch.
Moved from the pink cell into a bigger room with a full closet, I am

drug, my little green helper is no longer coming everyday. I do have the

Which brings me to DeVilles office.
"Please."
"Bamby it is out of my hands, you have already exceeded the dosage of any
known patient, continuing now would violate any ethical standards, you

It made sense, all of it made sense, but that did not make it any easier
to hear. He continued.
"I understand help is on the way, just a few days and you will be leaving
us."
Confused, I had not completed my training as a prostitute, seeing the

I threw up my hands in frustration.

In any case your days here are numbered, you will not see nurse Louse
again, or Miss Stokes, I may schedule a session or two with Dr Stone but
for all intents and purposes the clinic is done with you now."
I wanted to slump in the chair, but I sat with my back straight, skirt
smooth under me, legs crossed, feet together, shoulders back, makeup
flawless, purse at my feet, smiling softly. Inside I was screaming, I
needed a dose. Sure I had my saved one, but how long could I go before I
swallowed it?
I lasted less than an hour in my room, thankfully Dr Stone came in with a
needle and everything went black.

I wake confused, curled under a blanket on Dr Stone's couch. After a
moment getting my bearings I hear her soothing voice.
"Sh now, you have been out for a bit, how do you feel?"
I take a physical and mental stock, no aches, pains, I am not sweating or
freezing, the room feels nice. All my fingers work, I flex my toes in the
open toe sandals. Other than being in dire need of a shower I feel good,
I smile at her.
"Good, now I have placed a mental block in your head, sort of like a
second personality. Along with this come trigger words, one to turn it
on, another to turn it off.
Three things, first hypnosis wears off, there will come a day when the
triggers no longer work, and would need to be refreshed, second the only
real difference between the block and your waking brain is the block is
not addicted to Daze, you are free of it while under the block, but if
you take a dose, while under the block, or not all of this will come
crashing down and you will return to the drug addicted waking person you
are. Finally, this is a temporary fix, you are going to want to get
actually clean as soon as possible, as I understand that is in the works,
so this only needs to last a few days.
Do you understand?"
I nodded.
"Good I took the liberty of removing the dose from your room, just as a
precaution, now would you like to know the trigger phrases?"
With a bit of practice, and after a long hot shower, I think I have it,
being under the block is a bit like benign on a dose, I try to be
judicious about the block but find myself leaning heavily on it as the
days pass, I settle into a routine of makeup, dressing and socializing
that mostly takes my mind off of the need for a dose but it is always in
the back of my mind.
Finally the week ends, DeVille and Stone sign my paperwork, after a hug,
and a firm handshake. My light suitcase and I are escorted to a
helicopter. Twenty minutes later we land at Suvarnabhumi Airport, and I
am escorted to one of two identical jets.

I scream into the phone, holding it so tightly I can hear the plastic
creak..
"Yes I just met with DeVille, she is not here, left over an hour ago, WHY
is she not at Broken Song?"
On the other end, someone in grave danger of losing their job informs me
the plane never landed. I get in the helicopter and fly back to the
airport. Finding a single jet still on the ground, with orders to fly to
Broken Song Rehab.
Bambi went to NY.
Crew of the second plane informed me something about older jets not
having wi-fi and FCC regulations. A perfect storm that means the plane
cannot be contacted or turned around.
I complete an impressive string of phraseology that makes two sailors in
earshot faint and one pirate blush.

"I am not judging your life Rachel, I just want to know where she is,
that's all."
Rachel looks like the last few months have put ten years on her. Even now
she is drunk, high or both, she looks at me warily.

I hand her a roll with five grand in it, done with whatever this

"Hey Rae what is the name of that club that Leroy owns?"

She is still talking but I am already walking searching the internet on
the burner phone. I find Double D's Gentlemens Emporium not too far away
and walk there, keeping my hand on my purse.
I get to the club unscathed and am greeted by a big doorman, who does not
look too smart, most likely here for his size. He stops me with a hand on
my arm.
"No women."
I look at his hand, and then look at him.
"Want to lose that?"
I am not sure what he sees in my face but he lets go. I hand him two
hundred dollar bills folded over.
"I want in now."
As usual with cash the seas part, and I am allowed in, it is your average
strip club, low light, naked skinny nearing anorexic girls, scantily
dressed hostesses, deep chairs meant for lap dances and a few private
rooms. After a minute I found the bathrooms and a door marked private
with another mountain of muscle in front of it.
"Jimmy not supposed to let chicks in, you gotta go."
Apparently they get dumber as I go farther up, I pull the .40 out of my
purse.
"Either let me go in there or get shot in the dick."
Mountain covers his crotch.
"You would never."
I smile and hope it is somewhere close to as cold as I feel.

Mountain opens the door with one hand while leaving the other over his

I stride into a small cheap office, Leroy is just as I remember him, a
big man in a cheap suit, he has Bamby on the floor on her knees and is
about to feed her a Daze. I point the gun at leroy. Horrified, with no
other options, I muster every ounce of badass in me and manage.
"Drop that pill into her, and I will drop you like a bad habit."
Okay it sounded better in my head, but out loud it is kinda corny, Leroy
looks up.
"Tommy!"
I smile.
"Tommy is rethinking his life choices, your turn, care to mess with me?"
Wisely he raises his hands and drops the pill on the desk, I notice Bamby
following the path of the pill like a starving woman looks at food.
"That the first one Leroy?"
He smiles. I wince at the trigger pull as I put a bullet in the desk.
"Questions, I have them you answer them, is that the first one?"
His hands are up now, apparently he understands I am serious, but he
tries a stall tactic anyway.
"Lady the police are going to be real interested in why you shooting in
my club."
My turn to smile.
"You mean to say the ones you don't have on payroll to ignore activity at
your club, what do you figure an hour, or two before they find your
body?"
"Murder get you a nice long prison sentence lady."
"Leroy you and I come from different worlds, you kill me they put you in
a hole so deep you never see the sun again, I kill you, my lawyer spins
it into self defense and I get a key to the city for doing a public
service. Understand?"
He nods understanding and motions me around the desk to see Bamby from
behind. On her lower back is a large piece of plastic and a new tattoo
