So what’s the gimmick? Joybear.com is a paysite offering sex-positive erotic films, which they’ve been banging out since 2003. That’s a ripe old age in internet years, but they’re way more popular than your grandpa, pulling an easy 75,000 visits every month. Swap your usual forty ouncer of malt liquor for some Dom Perignon and your truck-stop boner pills for the real blue diamonds that say Pfizer. It’s time to bring some fucking class to your masturbation routine.
Just Look at These Classy Broads
The front page of Joy Bear Pictures sets the tone beautifully. Right away, you’ll notice the vibe is different from your typical big-name reality porn site. Somehow, though, the site lacks the typical sleaziness you expect from a paysite. Not that I mind the sleaze, mind you. It’s just that Joybear is offering a different type of smut.
Some of the refined classiness comes from the overall presentation, which feels more like walking into a high-end, velvet-lined massage parlor than the sticky-floored strip club on the shitty side of town. Another element is the photography: it’s well framed, well lit, gorgeous and professional, with more of an emphasis on couples enjoying themselves than holes being stretched out and bodily fluids squirting all over the place.

Their stated goals are all about ethically producing sex-positive fuck flicks. If you’re worried about how the talent gets treated in other areas of the industry, this might be right up your alley. To be honest, all porn producers absolutely should adhere to the same three promises Joybear is making: performers will be treated professionally, protected and safe, and promptly paid. Is that so hard?
Highbrow Smut at Easy Sleazy Prices
I was hoping for some video previews, but this is 2022, and they’re no longer a given. Every “Play” button I tried to hit just shuffled me along to the signup page. Good thing I was already pretty much sold on the setup and preview images. Making my way to the signup page, I saw that Joybear.com is charging the same thirty bones as every other paysite for a one-month membership. No surprises there.
By the numbers, it’s certainly a fair price. They’re dropping a new scene every week, which is my gold standard by which I judge every paysite. It’s also the same release rate I’m offering over at PornDudeCasting. Since Joybear.com has been around much longer than I have, they’ve got the advantage as far as sheer collection size is concerned. To date, they’ve got nearly 300 videos in the library.
They don’t have a big, sprawling menu of tags or categories like you’ll find on other sites. Instead, they offer a dozen broad subgenres of erotica, including Romance, Women in Control, Lesbian, Voyeur and Masturbation. The thumbnail for the Threesome aisle has me hard as a rock, and I know the kinksters are really going to appreciate the inclusion on Bondage on the menu.
While I couldn’t find any tags listed anywhere, I suspect they’re using some invisible system of them because the search function quickly found flicks with Feet, Big Boobs, Blowjobs, Cowgirl and Anal. I’d love to see a fuller tags index with a list of everything, because it’d go a long way in helping perverts find exactly what they want to beat off to today. With nearly 300 movies in the library, there might be some good stuff lost in the shuffle, and the situation may get worse at the site continues to grow.

After poking around Joy Bear Pictures for a while, checking out what all they had to offer, it was finally time for my official fap test. I liked the oh-face on the pretty girl in the thumbnail for the recent Hello Pool Boy, so it seemed like a good place to start.
