Whatever you think Live Unicorns is, you’re probably wrong. Then again, I’m assuming you just heard of the joint. Just going off the name, I initially thought I would be reviewing something for the My Little Pony perverts or maybe something that would be better suited for MyGaySites than ThePornDude. They say a twat by any other name smells just as sweet, so what of a webcam site with a really fucking weird name?
Maybe they mean unicorn in the sense of something so precious yet so hard to find. In that case, I’m getting more and more curious. LiveUnicorns.com calls itself “Your Private Club for Live Entertainment,” which is a fancy way of saying they’re a subscription-based webcam site. The domain was registered back in 2018 but only started broadcasting boobies a year ago. Nonetheless, it looks like they’re off to a good start, earning the 2022 LiveCam Award for Best Emerging Platform. I’m a sucker for anything with live nude girls, so I was eager to see what makes them different from the Chaturbates and LiveJasmins of this world.
Sounds Like a Normal Webcam Site, But…
Pull up any random website, and what do you see? Usually, it’s a wall of thumbnails showing all the women currently performing live. Most cam sites even promise free entertainment, though only the bigger sites consistently feature free boobies, masturbation, and sex. I’ll go ahead and break it to the cheapskates now: Live Unicorns doesn’t offer any freebies, nor even any sneak peeks of who’s performing.
They make some promises, though, like “interactive shows by unique talent” and themes like LiveCam Professionals, BDSM Artists, Cosplayers, Gamergirls, Sex Educators, and Social Media Influencers. Except for the sex educators, that just sounds like any other cam site, as do features like new performers every month and the ability to request private shows with your favorite performer. Just because they write “exclusive content” in bold doesn’t make it any different from what the other guys are offering.
There are a couple of features offered by LiveUnicorns.com that you don’t find everywhere. They say members can “Claim your spot to scheduled live shows,” which is slightly unusual because not all sites have scheduled shows. They also offer “Curated-themed content,” which certainly sounds like a thing, so maybe I’ll be impressed when I actually see it.
It’s a pretty fucking tough sell if you want to know the truth. They want ten bucks a month to get into a webcam site they haven’t painted as any better than the rest. I think they’ve anticipated that cam fans won’t be convinced, so the second question of the FAQ asks what’s included in the membership. Here’s what it says:
“The subscription to the LiveUnicorns platform will give you exclusive access to popular adult live performers for a monthly fee. Get curated content, join scheduled live shows at your convenience, and request private shows with your favorite performer. Join now and get in with the early access price of $9.99/month.”
Convinced yet? Me neither, but they’ve clearly anticipated that because LiveUnicorns.com is offering a one-month free trial. They send you a reminder three days before the trial ends, which I’m sure many of you will appreciate. Too often, adult sites rely on a business model that hopes you forget about the actual subscription cost. But, hey, Live Unicorns is sounding more legit by the moment, so let’s see what’s actually inside.
Who’s Getting Naked on Live Unicorns?
On most cam sites, the models are free to show up at any moment, shake their tits and diddle their skittles, and then leave. LiveUnicorns isn’t like that. This place runs on a schedule, with shows scheduled every day. A sexy blonde was online earlier, doing a show for the leg lovers. Later today, there are scheduled shows with a cosplay babe, a thick ebony MILF, and a hot little Brazilian chick. There are ten shows lined up for tomorrow, including gamer girls, fetish models, and a kinky chick named CruelAlice putting on a Sexy Pirate show.
Unfortunately, that cosplay chick is up next, and she isn’t on for another couple of hours. I could sit around with blue balls for a while or go check out another site, but it looks like they’ve got me covered here. All shows are recorded, so you can watch them whenever you feel like. There’s a whole year’s worth of content saved up so far, and I was ready to dig in.
Part of the idea behind the subscription model is that they’re keeping the riffraff out. Theoretically, this means no ugly camgirls and hopefully an overall higher level of quality. And just looking at the thumbnails, they may be onto something. The women are always hot; the shots are consistently clear, and goddamn, these girls are naughty!

It’s a small menu but a nicely rounded one.
I checked out a half-hour Harley Quinn cosplay show broadcasted on Live Unicorns about five days ago. It’s a sexy, fun scene, and I wish I’d tuned in for the live version. Beneath the video player, tags like Spanking, Fetish, Fingering, and Role Play are listed. Weirdly, you can’t click on any of them. There’s currently no search engine and no way to filter the content, but I’m hoping those tags are eventually integrated into a more refined system. As the archive grows, that will become even more necessary for finding your preferred content.
Can I Get a Private Show Next?
Since nobody was performing live when I visited Live Unicorns, I fell down the rabbit hole watching archived shows. One of my favorites featured this chick named Lucy with a cute face and absolutely enormous titties trying on different tops and bras. I immediately followed her on the platform.

I started looking for a way to book a show.
Here’s the thing: you can’t schedule a private show. As far as I can tell, you have to request one while the model is online, but there’s no easy way to see who’s online. For example, my favorite girl from the top row of the Performers page hasn’t even been online in 4 months, and there’s no way to reshuffle the search results.
It’s a fucking shame because one of the gimmicks at LiveUnicorns is their payout rate. The models get to keep 90%, which means you’re supporting them more than on other sites. But, of course, that’s if you manage to catch one live.
I think Live Unicorns has a decent setup, but I’m not sure it’s ready for primetime. A bigger selection of models would help, and more live shows to get your money’s worth out of that ten-dollar entry ticket. I read somewhere else that the price is supposed to go up to $40 after early access, which is crazy talk and totally not worth it at this point. Basic functionality needs to be improved; better search/sort filters, model’s online status, and an easy way to book private shows would be a start.
If the basic setup sounds intriguing, I recommend taking advantage of the LiveUnicorns.com free trial membership. You’ll get to dig into all the archives and watch any scheduled shows. At the end of the day, it really isn’t all that different from your average webcam site. I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
