LiveToLives calls itself “the place for people to enjoy conversations and fun times,” which is a pretty fucking bold statement. I’ve lived on this planet for decades and have had tons of conversations and fun times along the way, but I never even heard of the website until today. It ain’t too different from the braggadocious marketing I see on all kinds of websites, but it really got me wondering: what if they’re right? What if I’ve been talking and enjoying myself wrong all these years? Fuck, I might be on the cusp of some world-changing shit, but there’s only one where to be absolutely sure.
I’ll be honest, it wasn’t really the adspeak out front that got me interested in LiveToLives.com, but the traffic these guys are pulling. They were only getting a couple hundred thousand visits a month back in April, but those numbers were well over a million by August. This new social network is promising instant and easy chats, and it sure seems like people are flocking to join the conversation. Let’s see if I can meet anyone as freaky as I am.
Go Live to Lives and Live to Love
As a professional porn reviewer and world-renown masturbator, I’ve seen all kinds of chat sites, webcam sites and hookup sites. One thing they all typically have in common is how hard they use sex to sell you on a signup. The landing pages are usually covered in pouty red lips, stock art of good-looking couples embracing, girls in their underwear, and sometimes even boobies on the sites whose whole brand image is trying to look filthier than the other guys.
By contrast, the tour page at Live To Lives looks downright wholesome. If somebody hadn’t told me I might be interested in the service, I don’t know that the preview would have convinced me. There’s a little bit more text, but that’s really the whole gist of it. Their strategy is just to nudge you toward the COME SAY HI or WANNA CHAT buttons, which both lead to the same place. They finally show some sexier GIFs of chatting members once you choose your sex, and then ask you to sign up for an account when you try to start a chat.
The best news, though, is that LiveToLives.com does offer a free trial to help get you hooked. Personally, I would have led with the free trial and the sexy girls, but what do I know? I’m just the successful smut peddler who runs PornWebmasters, PornDudeCasting and ThePornDude. Maybe the clean, SFW landing page is part of their branding, or maybe they’ve figured out it’s a better lure for their prime demographics. Whatever the case, I was ready to try it out for myself.
Getting Inside with Live to Lives
The whole vibe changes once you actually get inside at LiveToLives. Vibe shifts can be a good thing or a bad thing, but in this case, it’s fucking fantastic.
