Rosalie sighed as she ran around her flat, picking up the things she would need for the day. ‘…Mobile, keys, wallet,’ she murmured to herself, carelessly throwing the items into her bag. With one last glance around her apartment, she grabbed a granola bar for breakfast and left. Leaving her apartment block, she heard a ringing coming from her bag, and rummaged around for a while before pulling out her cell phone.
‘Yes?’ she answered impatiently
‘Nice to hear from you too Rose,’ came the quirky voice from the speaker
‘Sorry Jen I’m going to be late for work again, can you make it quick?’
‘Sure thing, just wondering if you wanted to come out tonight with me, Sienna and Abby?’
Rose groaned quietly, spending time with that bitch Sienna was the last thing she wanted to do. But she hadn’t seen her best friend Jenny in such a long time, and she loved spending time with Abby.
‘I know you don’t like her,’ Jenny said, responding to the silence, ‘But she’ll behave, I promise’
‘Fine, I’ll get a cab over to your place around 7 and then you can tell me what we’re doing, but now I really have to go, bye!’
Rosalie hung up before Jenny could get another word out and shoving her cell back into her bag, she ran down the stairs for the subway praying that she would make it to work on time.

Rosalie only had 10 minutes at home before she had to leave to make it to Jenny’s on time. She ran into the bathroom and impatiently pulled a brush through her long, wavy chestnut hair. She scrutinized her outfit in the mirror, deciding that the blue silk dress that came mid-thigh would be appropriate for whatever Jenny had planned for them that night. Looking in the mirror at herself, she saw a fairly average 21 year old woman, who on a good day looked almost pretty. However, outsiders looking at her were usually blown away by her shiny hair, inky blue eyes, pale skin and pouting lips. She had always been quite tiny for her age at 5 ft 6, and she had a small waist and breasts, making her look a lot younger then she actually was. She quickly applied a bit of mascara and eye liner, and left her apartment when she heard her cab beeping outside.
She had just raised her fist to knock on Jens door when it swung open. Looking at her best friend, she grinned. Jen had opted to wear a fluorescent pink mini dress, complete with 4 inch silver stilettos. Rosalie couldn’t hold back the laughter as Jen did a twirl to show off her outfit.
‘No one but you would be able to pull that off,’ Rosalie commented striding into the apartment.
‘I know, that’s why I’m wearing it,’ Jen responded with a cheeky grin, ‘I’m hoping to turn a few heads tonight.’
‘So are you going to tell me where we’re going?’ Rosalie asked opening the fridge to grab a bottle of water.
‘Only if you promise not to change your mind and go back home,’ came Jens response.
Rosalie glared at her, wondering what her friend had planned for their evening.
‘Okay, so I know someone who knows someone who owns this new club that’s just opened up in town, and he put our names down on the guest list,’ Jenny said turning away from Rosalie, ‘And I know you hate clubs and everything but it’ll be good for you to just enjoy yourself for one night.’
Rosalie groaned her dreams of a quiet evening in a bar going out the window. Jenny looked at her, batting her eyelashes with an innocent look.
Rosalie rolled her eyes, ‘Fine, we can go, but that doesn’t mean I’m happy and it DOES mean that you owe me for this.’
Jenny grinned to herself, knowing that Rose would never be able to say no to her, and gave her a quick hug before pulling her out the apartment.
‘The others are meeting us there, so let’s get the night started!’ Jenny sang as they left her flat.

Rosalie pushed her way through the crowd, trying to find her table. The pounding music in the background was starting to give her a headache and all she wanted to do was leave, but she had already promised Jenny she wouldn’t leave before midnight. Locating her table, she made her way towards it. Jen, Sienna and Abby were sitting around a table laughing at something or the other. Out of the 4 of them, Sienna had always been the most glamorous, the most gorgeous, and the one that got the most attention. At 6 foot, she had the height, and appearance of a model. Her golden blonde hair was cropped into a cute pixie cut, and her baby blue eyes were framed by long thick lashes. One look at her and most men were left speechless. However, her cold bitchy demeanor more then cancelled out her stunning looks. Sitting down next to Abby, she noticed the neat row of shots that were sitting on the table.
Noticing her look, Jenny rolled her eyes, ‘Come on Rose, what’s the point in even coming to a club if you’re not gonna go a bit wild.’
Placing the shot glass in Rosalie’s hand, Jenny grabbed one for herself and downed it.
As Abby and Sienna followed suit, Rosalie groaned and downed her drink as well.
4 shots later, Rosalie was so happy she was continuously laughing, but wasn’t sure why. Feeling restless, she grabbed Jenny’s hand and the 2 girls made their way to the dance floor. A song that Rosalie couldn’t identify was on, but she danced anyway, feeling all her inhibitions fade away, not even noticing as Jenny left the dance floor.
She span slowly on the spot, running her hands down her body. She swayed her hips slowly in tune to the slow song that was blaring in the club. Closing her eyes she felt the music flow over her and moved to the beat. Suddenly large hands slid around her body, holding her hips tight. Feeling slightly unsteady, Rosalie tried to turn around to see who had her captive, but the strong hands restricted her movement. The hands holding her waist pulled her back until she felt a hard body behind her. The stranger slowly moved his hips behind her, his hands forcing her body to move with his. He pulled her ass back into his crotch and grinded her onto him. Her pulse quickened, matching the beat of the music as he ran his large strong hands down the length of her body, drawing her dress up slightly as they ran back up. His fingers caressed the soft skin of her thighs and she sighed into herself, feeling too drunk to stop the stranger from touching her.
Then he was turning her body, until she faced him. He took hold of her hands and looped them around his neck and placed his hands back at her waist, still moving her to the music. Slowly she looked up at him from under her lashes, her breath catching in her throat and she saw him. He was tall, with broad strong shoulders that narrowed at his hips. His slight waist gave him a gangly appearance. He had red-brown hair that was styled up, the front of it sweeping across his forehead. His skin was golden with a square jaw that made his face look extremely hard and masculine. His lips were perfectly curved and his cheekbones prominent. However, it was his eyes that captured the air in her lungs. They appeared to be almost totally black, however they would occasionally catch the light, showing the threads of light brown that ran through his irises. She could not pull her eyes away from his, so continued to stare at him until the song was long over. Neither of them realized they were still swaying slowly, even as the tempo of the music changed. Neither of them noticed Siennas narrowed eyes, glaring at them angrily. Suddenly, he seemed to snap out of his trance, a slow lazy smile curving his lips. He bent down towards her, and she felt her eyes drifting closed, waiting for the pressure of his mouth on hers. Suddenly she felt a warm breath by her ear and heard him whisper, ‘Follow me.’
Taking her small hand in his large one, he pulled her off the dance floor, and led her a narrow corridor, finding a dark corner of the club where no one could see them. Pushing her against a wall he bent down to her again, an
d she felt his hot tickly breath by her ear again. Suddenly she felt his tongue lick the curve of her ear, and felt him gently sucking on her lobe. Shivers ran through her body as he nibbled on the bottom of her ear. She felt electricity rip through her body and his hot tongue insistently licked her sensitive ear. She closed her eyes and moaned, which caused him to pause at her ear. Gently, he murmured into her ear, ‘If you think this is good, wait and see what else I can do to you.’
Drawing back from her body, he rested one arm on the wall above her head and looked down into her glazed over eyes. She stared back at him and she tried to get her labored breathing back to normal. Suddenly, he cocked his head up as if he had only just realized they were in a crowded club. He looked back through the darkness to see someone approaching him.
‘Jeez Alistair we’ve been looking for you for forever mate, where’ve you been?’
The newcomer followed Alistair’s gaze down and saw Rosalie standing there, and his mouth formed an O of realization.
‘Well whatever,’ the newcomer continued, ‘Drakes had too much to drink again, obviously, and you know how pissed off Renee gets when he goes home drunk, so I think its time we left.’
‘I’ll be right out Paul, just give me a minute.’ His voice was soft, even as he raised it so he could be heard over the noise of the club.
Shrugging, Paul turned around and left. As Alistair turned back to her, Rosalie blushed, red staining her pale skin, realizing how she had shamelessly let this stranger do whatever he wanted to her. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth again, finding her shyness strangely alluring. Without saying a word, he drew a pen out of his pocket and took hold of her hand again. Slowly, he scrawled a number across her arm, and then slowly bent down to kiss the place where he’d written his number. She shivered again, at the feel of his unbelievably soft lips against her flushed skin. He straightened up, and turned towards her, pressing a chaste kiss on her cheek. ‘Call me.’ She turned towards him but before she knew it he was gone. She brought her hand up to her cheek, feeling it burning hot from his kiss. ‘Alistair,’ she said to herself, loving the way his name seemed to fit perfectly with her lips.
