Ever heard of Gyotaku? Well it’s an art form started by Japanese fishermen in the eighteen hundreds. They recorded their fish catches by rubbing the fish with an edible ink, before making a print of the fish on paper. Naturally, as time went on they began painting in the eyes etcetera.
