Stepping through the front door of the shared lair of the Brotherhood of mutants, Mystique stepped through the door first, sulking with the rest of her teammates following her inside. She was depressed, incredibly so. Her head hung low that her red flowing hair obscured her face and shoulders as she sluggishly made her way inside. Smoke coming off their bodies as they made their way to the living room, Raven collapsed heavily on a nearby chair, combing her fingers through her red hair in depression. Blob took up the entire couch when he sat down heavily, pulling up a bucket of chicken at the side while everyone else simply fell to the floor in exhaustion.
It was a fool proof plan! The Brotherhood of Mutants would hijack a shipment of mutant convicts heading to a heavy detainment facility upstate. In the hopes of adding the criminals to their ranks, the Brotherhood were at their best, with Mystique taking the form of a guard and knocking out the driver mid travel. Her minions would have freed the criminals when the X-Men showed up… AGAIN and thwarted them. Lightning, optic blasts, kinetic explosion, like always the Brotherhood were outmatched and thanks to a temper tantrum from Pyro caused the damn truck to explode, leaving the Brotherhood to hoof it on foot back to their lair and lick their proverbial wounds.
“This SUCKS!” Complained Toad, face down on the floor, too tired to even move.
“Damn straight… This is all YOUR fault Pyro.” Grumbled the Blob, looking the most distraught after walking for so long. “You couldn’t have caused a fire BEFORE we got in the truck?!”
“Hey! Screw you fatso! You think its easy not causing a fire?” Barked Pyro, glaring back at the oversized man.
“YES! By not causing a damn fire!!!”
“Hey, the moment I control my powers is the day YOU control your bowel movements.”
“I concur…” Grumbled Avalanche, returning with an ice pack to place on his head as he leaned against the wall. Looking to their leader draped over the chair, the man spoke up. “So, what’s the plan Mystique? What do we do now?”
“Yeah, got another plan up your blue sleeve?”
“Nothing…” Leaning forward and resting her head in her hands, Raven looked crestfallen, sighing heavily as the day’s events played out in her mind again. “It’s the same damn thing over and over again; we go and cause trouble, the X-men send us packing, over and over and OVER again… It’s no use.” Getting up from her seat, Mystique moved to where the Blob was sitting, holding a bucket of fried chicken in his hands as he reached in for a drum stick, only to be surprised when his leader snatched the bucket from his hands and reached in for some chicken for herself, walking off with the bucket in hand.
“Hey, I was eating that.”
“And now I’M eating it… I don’t care anymore, if anyone wants me they can find me in my room with a bucket of ice cream to go.”
Watching their leader storm out of the living room and kick open her bedroom door, the Brotherhood looked back at each other and shrugged. “Guess she’s taking this harder than we are.”
Stepping into her bedroom and sitting heavily on her bed finishing off another drumstick of chicken, Mystique sulked and pouted alone in her room. “It’s just not fair…” There just wasn’t any helping it, no matter how many times her team fought and fought, it was all fruitless. The X-Men were just more co-ordinated, skilled and just had better powers. And it didn’t help that she was surrounded by idiots and rejects from Magneto’s other teams to make up her own team. If she could do it all herself, she wouldn’t need to drag those morons around to get the job done. Biting into another piece of chicken, Raven just wanted to eat to make the blues go away.
“Mark my words… ‘gulp’ if it were up to me, I’d be the biggest, baddest mutant in the world! People would be grovelling at my feet if I so much as showed up. Instead people need to bring a mop if I so much as bring Toad with me.” Reaching into the bucket, her fingers wandered over the rim to find nothing. Looking inside, the lithe, blue skinned woman frowned to find the chicken bucket empty save the bones she tossed in there earlier. “Damn… And I’m still hungry.” Getting up from her bed, the woman stepped out to go to the kitchen, opening the freezer and pulling out the tub of ice cream she mentioned earlier.
“Maybe this will make me feel better…” Heading back into her room with a cold bucket of ice cream in one hand and a spoon in the other, Raven sighed and ate her cold treat. Not so much out of hunger but to drown out the depression eating away at her. Hopefully after this, she’d finally be too tired and fall asleep.

One week later…
Looking at herself in the mirror, Mystique turned and posed in the bathroom, pouting her lips at the sight of her figure. Binge eating to chase her depression away had taken a toll on her body and weight. Before she was a slim 120 pounds… Now she was twice that after eating non-stop for over a week. Her once slim waist now protruded out into a pot belly that obscured the sight of her feet. Her full chest now heaved outward with a pair of pliant orbs after she swelled out two cup sizes and her ass now stood out behind her round and meaty with thick thighs and hips.
Damn… I’ve REALLY let myself go…” Posing again, she felt her depression kick in again, along with a low growl from her stomach that made her frown down at her pudgy middle. “Oh, shut up I just ate 30 minutes ago!” Sighing, Mystique let her arms drop to her sides and sulked. Her larger chest wobbling slightly from the act. “Great, this is a disaster!” Feeling like breaking into tears, Mystique wiped her softened cheeks and frowned back at her reflection.

She was not going to let this effect her; she was Mystique, a master shapeshifter! Bloating an extra hundred pounds shouldn’t stop her, it should CHALLENGE her! Closing her eyes, Raven breathed in and concentrated on herself. Already she could feel her mass constrict back into itself. Her gut shrinking back into firm abdominals, her rear receding back to a pert heart shape and her heavy breasts becoming pert and firm again. When she opened her eyes… She was surprised. Instead of looking into the mirror, she was looking DOWN at the mirror.
“What the hell...”
Crouching to look at herself in the mirror, she found her original figure back, but now she was taller! At least a foot and a half taller, the statuesque Raven looked down at herself and padded her hands over the places that used to be heavy with fat on her frame. Did she redistribute it all over her body, was all the fat she gained just additional mass she could alter and manipulate at her will? Looking back at her reflection she concentrated on making herself shorter, and in doing so watched on as her figure swelled plumper in the process before she stopped. Leaning against the bathroom counter, Mystique will her body to change again, building up her muscles to a solid physique, giving herself solid abs, muscular shoulders and arms and powerful legs, becoming almost Amazonian in physique. Turning and posing again, the blue skinned woman smiled at the results, flexing to her reflection
Out of curiosity, she gripped at the counter with her now powerful looking hands and gasped when it broke in her grip. Returning to normal and forced to crouch again as a 7-foot-tall giantess. Raven looked down at her hands and blinking back at this new development in her powers, her mind raced at the possibilities.
What if she ate more? Made herself bigger?
Hearing her stomach growl again, she didn’t feel disappointed in her new appetite, if anything, now she was eager to see just how big she could get.
