"Imperial Centre, this is shuttle Objurium requesting clearance for entry on vector 290." Erisi Rendar spoke crisply into the communications panel of her Lambda Class Shuttle.
"Transmit clearance code, shuttle Objurium." The controller responded in a flat tone.
"Transmitting now." Erisi stated and pressed a button, before regarding the two Golan IV defense stations in orbit, directly in her path.
Erisi Rendar was a stunning human female of average height for most biped species. Her long brown hair was firmly hidden underneath her black cap, framing her beautiful face. Her black uniform showcased her narrow waist, and failed to hide her most impressive and distinguishing features, which happened to be her huge, firm breasts. Most females of any species would have to shell out a considerable fortune to get breasts like hers. Coupled with a delicious and firm behind she was the human equivalent of aesthetic perfection. A walking wet dream.
Erisi knew it and found her physical attributes useful in her line of work. She was a member of the feared Imperial Security Bureau. An organization that specialises in identifying and if necessary eliminating threats before they can harm Emperor Palpatine's New Order. As a woman Erisi had found herself at a distinct disadvantage in earning her place in the Empire. If it weren't for her family's wealth and power Erisi would never have been able to join the Imperial Academy at Carida. Palpatine's dislike of females and non-humans in his giant war machine and intelligence services was well known.
In fact there was only one other female at the Academy during Erisi's time: an aspiring Naval Officer named Daala who had caught the eye of Grand Moff Tarkin during a surprise visit of the facility. Tarkin plucked Daala out of the Academy, made her an Admiral and given her command of four Imperial Star Destroyers. Now Tarkin was dead, killed when his pet project and lifetime's obsession, The Death Star was destroyed above above an insignificant moon by a lucky shot from an orphaned farm boy in an antiquated starfighter. There have been no signs of Daala, or records of where she may be. It appears that Daala and her small fleet had completely dissapeared.
Unlike Daala, Erisi didn't have a member of Palpatine's inner circle to help her along and fast track her to success. Erisi had fought hard for everything, ignoring the prejudices from her instructors and fellow students. Six months ago she graduated with honours from Carida. The first female to do so and was quickly snapped up by the ISB. Her physical attributes allows her to infiltrate and gain access to areas that a male, no matter how well trained just simply couldn't get to. In her previous mission she had seduced a diplomat from Corellia suspected of having Rebel ties. He took her to his chambers, before she knocked him unconscious, sliced into his private records. Confirmed ISB Command's suspicious of him and executed him on the spot.
Erisi tore her gaze from the giant Golan weapons platforms and regarded the world formerly known as Coruscant. Soon after the end of the Clone Wars Supreme Chancellor Palpatine reorganized the bloated, inefficient Republic into a Galactic Empire with him as its Emperor.
Erisi tapped her fingers on the control panel impatiently waiting for the controller to verify her access code and lower enough of the planetwide defense shield to allow her ship access to the Galactic Capital. The giant shield had been created in the early days of the Empire to prevent a replication of the devastation caused by the droid General Grievous' surprise attack on the Capital in one of the last battles of the savage Clone Wars nearly twenty years ago.
"Shuttle Objurium". The comm officer squawked. "Clearance granted. Allign course for beacon 784432. Major Delvin will be waiting for you."
"Understood, Control. Objurium out." Erisi disengaged the Comm and punched the co-ordinates into the navigation computer.
As the she piloted the shuttle through the small section of the shield that had been deactivated for her ship's arrival and descended into the planet's atmosphere Erisi found herself wondering what Delvin wanted. The ISB Major normally took great delight in making her wait, before allowing her to see him. Despite her impressive credentials and mission success rate in her time in the Bureau, he carried Palpatine's prejudices like they were his own, and had little respect for her.
Soon the massive structure of the Imperial Palace filled the viewscreen of the shuttle. The gigantic Palace was the home of the Emperor and central facility of his New Order. Rumor has it that the Palace was built on the ruins of the Jedi Temple, one final humiliation to the fallen self described 'guardians of the galaxy'.
Several minutes later the landing platform reserved solely for Imperial Scurity Bureau agents came into view. Erisi could see various ships on the platform. From sleek starfighters, to rusty freighters and several Lambda Class Shuttles like the one she was piloting.
As she touched the shuttle down Major Delvin and two fully armoured Stormtroopers emerged from a turbolift and strided purposefully to her shuttle. Letting out a sigh, Erisi pulled a lever which lowered the boarding ramp, allowing access for her superior officer and his escorts.
