With the film now out a new lease of life it’s about time we tried a Firefly/Serenity story based on Joss Wheadon’s failed TV series about the crew of the cargo ship Serenity. As he stepped down in to the galley and poured himself a drink he looked around at the crew currently in attendance, Shepard Book, Zoe and Kaylee were all sitting talking at one end of the table while Jayne was at the other polishing one of his numerous guns, he couldn’t tell if it was Vera or one of the others.
