She also said that her son earns around 4 lakhs per month and works for a reputed company. She also said that her son is very smart and she kept boasting about her son in front of all. She also said that her son’s room is full of my pics and he would see my pic every morning. All started laughing and clapping together. I didn’t know what to say but I was feeling very happy to hear that. I was also feeling nervous and excited. She then asked my opinion on this proposal.
As I opened my mouth to talk on this, everybody kept silent. They were all anxious to know my answer. I didn’t want to disappoint them. I said I am OK with the proposal if it makes everyone happy. Then everyone stood and clapped and they all said in a chorus that they all too are very happy for this proposal.
Then his mom asked us to speak in private for the final decision. I was nervous and even my nephew was nervous. We didn’t reply to that. Seeing us silent my parents asked us to go to my room and talk. I got up and started walking towards my room. I was nervous. My parents asked my nephew to follow me.
He too got up and started walking behind me. We both came to my room. My sisters closed the door from outside so that others won’t hear our conversation. We stood opposite each other for a while. He was looking at my head to toe. I was feeling uncomfortable.
He was staring at me was like as if he was scanning me and trying to eat me. With little hesitation, I lifted my head to look into his eyes.
