It was a beautiful, sunny day in the nation's capital. For
a road warrior, which is what we road weary types like to
call ourselves, this was the beginning of a glorious mini-
vacation. One of the benefits of flying very frequently is

sleeping next to me. I'd cashed in untold frequent flier
miles and hotel points, but it had been worth it. We'd seen
the sights, oh yes. But this was to be a special day...
this was to be a shopping day!
Taking time for a room service breakfast, we leisurely
showered, and I imagined her in "something pretty". No
hurry today, no bus tours to connect with, no timetable to
conform to. No, today was only for shopping!
On the way to Georgetown, we stopped and bought a really
cool sweatshirt for Yvette. It was navy with an awesome
gold embroidered seal of the U.S. on its front. Yvette
owned it the minute I saw it, you see. She wasn't born to
claim it -- she had won it. You know her, Yvette, or at
least you've seen her kind. A face to represent a people,
and a body to stop traffic. No one in Washington D.C. on
that particular day was as thrilled as Yvette to be there,
or as proud to be a brand new American. And I, well, I was
just proud of her.
Yes, she'd also won the battle of the sexes some time ago.
I belonged to Yvette and she was mine! And now we were
shopping in the Georgetown district. We didn't just come
across the Dream Dresser store at the foot of Wisconsin
Avenue; it was where the taxicab dropped us. I felt me
tugging at her arm to go there first. The lure of the place
must have been its window display, so filled with sexy
things, if you know what I mean. Of course we went right
in.
Yvette gravitated to the back of the store as soon as we
entered, while I was drawn to a round rack of sexy corsets.
It was so big, the rack, and there were so many wonderful
things on it. I could not help myself, and soon I was idly
feeling the silk and satin, and losing all track of Yvette.
I was imagining how she'd look in one of these.
Before I knew it, a shop girl was at my elbow, and she
simply asked, "Is this your first corset?"
The question startled me, and I looked at once for Yvette.
Alas, she was nowhere to be seen. The question was being
asked of me, and there was no longer any Yvette to help me
out of this one, this time. I thought so many things in
that moment. I could say any number of things to brush this
salesgirl off, to get out of it, or even just walk away. I
also thought, heck, I'm in a strange city where no one here
really knows me. Where the heck is Yvette?
In that moment of truth, I answered, "Yes."
The salesgirl, looking all of twenty but wearing a very
competent face introduced herself as Carla. "I'll be happy
to help you, 'sir'," she smiled. I'm sure I'd just melted
and it made her day. "What size do you wear, do you know?"
she asked with a grin growing broader with every passing
moment. She seemed to be enjoying my reddening face as she
spoke a little louder. "Are you in need of a shaper?"
"I have a 34 inch waist," I whispered sheepishly, "I
thought maybe a size 32 for the, ahem, corset."
"Really?" Carla chortled, "I bet I could get you into a 26
inch CORSET!"
"No way," I stupidly gasped! That comment only led to Carla
literally sprinting to the front counter to retrieve a
bright yellow tape measure. With the tape streaming behind
her, she surely drew every eye in the store's attention
directly to me! Carla then squeezed my abdomen and twirled
the tape around my waist, all done with the brightest
twinkle in her eye. Carla was what you might call an
adorable little bundle of energy. Her short black hair was
fairly severely arranged, a face with little makeup, and I
suspected she might be a college girl. Perhaps from nearby
Georgetown University, she might be doing this as a part
time job. She might be having just a little fun with a
silly tourist.
This is happening to me, though-- So I looked yet again for
Yvette, but she was still nowhere in sight.
"Yes," Carla breathed into my ear, "I can get you into a
26. What style do you like? Lots of lace and without a
bra?"
Another monumental moment of truth, and by now I wanted to
tell it. Lost in the moment, I heard myself tell Carla,
"Silky and with a bra -- like this one." I was ever so
embarrassed to have to point out the sexy black garment to
her. Now she knew for sure. Others started to gather,
tourists, giggling at the show.
"Would you like to try it on, 'sir'?" Carla was making a
big deal of saying the word "sir" with smirking emphasis
and really loud. She had a nice ass, too, which was also
drawing a lot of attention from people who had just stopped
by, but now sticking around.
I looked around desperately for Yvette. Where the hell is
she, anyway?
"Yes, I'd love to, but don't you have some dressing rooms
here, Carla?" I asked a little too meekly. Man, that
sounded lame, I thought, but now I'm committed.
Without a moments hesitation I found myself being led by
the hand to the back of the store with a "Right this way,
'sir'."
Carla was definitely all business when it came to corsets.
It was obvious that she really knows what she's doing as
she flapped the thing apart to separate the laces. And
though we were at the back of the store, she made sure I
was in full view of anyone who cared to look our way as she
got me into the thing. Then she started pulling the
laces...
"Ooh!"
My little exclamation didn't even faze her. Feeling that
way and just oohing like that made me feel so-- I guess--
sissy. She just kept pulling the laces tighter, literally
taking my breath away. In about five seconds Carla had me
in a pretty, black, satin bra corset. My ability to breathe
like a man was taken away. And I was getting aroused!
I looked around and now, finally, there was Yvette! "What
are you up to, mister?"
As I looked on helplessly, I could see other tourists
pointing and laughing at me, but now... there was nothing I
could do. Carla explained how to really make the corset
work to Yvette, and soon the two women were talking about
corsets like I wasn't even there.
There are times, ladies and gentlemen, when you wish your

To wear a pink satin maid's uniform in front of her and
everyone? "Not today, thanks, I'm sure it will fit."
Of course Yvette bought the pink one, the petticoats, and
the corset. Carla got one last poke at me saying,
"Someone's gonna have fun tonight!" at the counter as we
paid for the stuff.
Next stop on the shopping trip? Where else? Victoria's
Secret to find something to attach to these garters.
