Herman Frod was a peculiar child. Born to well-known and wealthy
parents, he was always on a quest. His mother was a beautiful real
estate agent and his father a very savvy banker and businessman. He
combined the best aspects of both, being attractive with dark eyes like
his mother and having the intellect of both his parents, with his
father's uncanny ability to make a buck. His peculiar nature, however,
involved sequestering himself from friends and the usual activities of
a child his age.
By the time he was 18, Herman had already begun several entrepreneurial
ventures and had learned enough computer programming to develop a
simple piece of software to keep track of materials loss in
manufacturing operations. The software not only won a Junior
Achievement Award, but was purchased by a major company, ensuring
Herman's financial solvency for many years to come.
Perhaps encountering the burnout that most of us feel in our
professional lives at about 40 years of age, Herman decided it was time
for a break. Leaving the hills of Northern California, he was on a
quest to "find himself." Most of his relatives thought he was crazy,
but allowed for the fact that he was an 18-year-old millionaire, which
was sort of a crazy notion, anyway.
Herman set out to motorcycle his way across the northern tier of the
United States. He drove up the coast to Seattle, veered east and headed
across the Cascades. The weather was beautiful in early summer. His
expensive Moto Guzzi peeled back mile upon mile of asphalt highways.
The vistas revealed themselves as picture postcards, always with the
road a beckoning finger in the foreground.
As Herman crossed into Idaho from Washington State, he became aware of
a weather system building behind him. The clouds began to build on the
horizon, an ominous harbinger that all hell was about to break loose in
the sky. In the mirror, flashes of lightning began to indicate to
Herman that perhaps he should find a place to stop.
Climbing a long grade, a sign appeared on the side of the road,
slightly askew, but with the message "Next exit?Hot Springs". Herman
thought, "Good, maybe they'll have a place to park the bike outside the
weather."
Herman smoothly pulled the Moto Guzzi onto the exit and followed a set
of signs down a winding gravel road. There was simply a sign labeled
"Hot Springs" next to a driveway. As Herman turned in, he spotted a
young woman tending to a flowerbed at the corner of a dilapidated
building. Everything in the yard was green, and Herman could see steam
rising from behind the building.
After shutting down his motorcycle and removing his helmet, Herman
approached the girl, who had barely seemed to take notice of him. Her
long, dark blond hair was tucked behind her ears and her hands worked
busily.
"Hi. There seems to be a storm rolling in, so I pulled in hoping you
might have a place I can park my bike."
"Are you here for the hot springs?" asked the girl.
"Not really. I was mainly hoping to avoid the storm."
"Well, we're not really a motel or a resort. The only thing people come
for is the springs."
"Sorry, I guess I should've kept going."
With an eye toward the sky, the girl seemed to soften, and told Herman,
"The next real motel is quite a ways down the road. Why don't you pull
your bike into the shed over here and maybe you can relax in the
springs. We have one of them set up with a shelter so that you can get
out of the weather."
"Okay," Herman replied, wheeling his bike over to the shed the girl
indicated. As they closed the sliding door, rain began to fall. The
girl asked Herman to follow her to the main building.
Inside, Herman saw the clearest pool of water he had ever seen, with
steam rising from it.
"Our charge for using the springs is $22.50," said the girl, and Herman
reached in his wallet to pay her. Upon handing her the cash, he noticed
that she had eyes that were deeper blue than he had ever seen before.
"You have beautiful eyes," Herman said in a way that almost indicated a
simultaneous escape of breath and thought.
In a melodramatic response, the girl aggressively grabbed Herman,
pulling him to her, and forced her mouth on his in a hard kiss. "Owa-
uhhhhh," grunted Herman, pulling away from her. He was not used to
aggressive girls, or contact with any kind of girl, for that matter.
"What, am I not good enough?" questioned the girl, flipping her head
back defiantly.
"Uh, I just? I don't know? I was surprised," stammered Herman.
"Well, the springs are yours for an hour. Enjoy yourself," said the
girl, coldly and without the passion she had displayed moments ago.
Herman's mind was in a turmoil. He was generally unused to sexual
advances, having been a "geek" for much of his life and perhaps not
developing the social skills a person of his physical beauty would
normally have. However, he was drawn to the vision of the clear pool
and its warm water, and he settled down, finding the small changing
room in the corner of the building. Herman was alone, so he undressed,
laying his clothes neatly on the bench, and walked out to step into the
steaming pool.
As he slid into the warm water, Herman became even calmer. The pool had
an intoxicating heat and the water seemed to caress his body. After
long hours on the bike through the mountains, his muscles needed the
relaxation. Herman stood in chest-high water in the middle of the pool,
letting his body absorb the comfort.
Nearly in a trance of daydreaming, Herman was awakened immediately by a
splash behind him in the pool. Without time to turn around, he was
grabbed from behind. The girl had returned to the building, crept up on
him, and was now wrapped around him. Herman thrashed a little bit, but
the girl dug her fingernails into him, displaying amazing strength for
her size.
"You're mine, now," she breathed into his ear.
Herman dove for the other side of the pool, hoping the maneuver would
release him from her grasp. Instead, it seemed as if she was glued to
his back, her breasts pressing into him, her legs wrapped around his.
As he went underneath the surface of the water, he suddenly felt a
lightness. It was as if she had released him, but she had not. Instead,
it seemed as if her body was merging with his.
The process began with Herman's head, as it felt as if his hair
suddenly grew to several times its length, and the silken locks
streamed onto his shoulders. He felt his face tighten and his jaw line
change. His arms suddenly felt smooth. His chest blossomed as his
breasts grew into firm, round orbs. His stomach seemed to flatten and
his buttocks grew larger, yet remaining as firm as his breasts. His
legs became silken, balletlike forms that waved through the water,
propelling him to an unknown destiny.
The beautiful creature that broke the surface defied description. Her
eyes were the girl's piercing blue. The face was Herman's, but softer.
His mind was still intact, fully aware of what had happened, but trying
desperately to process it. The waters of the spring seemed to calm him,
however, and it all seemed to make the most sense of anything in his
life.
At the gas station across the divide the next day, the attendant saw
the most beautiful motorcyclist he had ever seen. A vision in red
riding leathers pulled up to the pumps on a slick Italian bike, removed
her helmet, and tossed a mane of dark blond hair that would make a
supermodel jealous. She pouted her red-painted lips and she already
knew that Hermana Frod had no limit of places to go.
