Chapter Eleven - Making Partner
I arrived late to work the morning after Debbie's and my date with Chad.
Carla was already at her desk, hard at work. She was wearing a sleeveless
sheer white top through which you could clearly see the outline of a
white lace bra. As I've mentioned previously, such a provocative outfit
for work was uncharacteristic for Carla. As I approached, she stood,
revealing that she wore a short, blue pleated skirt. Her beautiful blonde
hair was pulled into a ponytail at the top of her head. Only one word
came to mind - hot!
"Good morning boss!" she cheerfully greeted me. "How was your double date
last night?"
No beating around the bush for Carla. I hoped no one overheard her. They
might get the wrong idea about Debbie and me. "It was fine," I replied
nonchalantly.
"Really?!" She sounded unconvinced. "I heard it was a little better than
'fine'," she said, mocking my use of the word, 'fine'.
"You heard?" I asked, incredulous.
"Um hmm," she nodded teasingly.
"Who have you been talking to?" I asked.
"Who else silly? Your wife! She told me that you lost something last
night. Is that true?"
'Lost something?' I quizzed myself. What was she talking about? The
confused look on my face must have been obvious. By now, Carla had
followed me into my office and closed the door behind her.
"Come on Lee Anne. Tell me about it," she prodded. "What was it like? You
know? Your first time?"
'Oh!' I understood now. I had lost my virginity! Initially, I was
embarrassed that Carla knew what had happened in the privacy of my
bedroom last night. Next, I was angry that my wife would have called her
and recounted the intimate details of my relations with Chad. Then I
thought, 'Wait! I fucked this woman yesterday - in my office - on my
desk. And then I licked my sperm out of her pussy. She is as much a part
of what is going on as anyone. I can share this amazing fantasy with
her.'
Falling into my chair, succumbing to the onslaught of female control I'd
fallen under, I motioned for Carla to sit as well. Taking a deep breath,
I exclaimed, "Words can't describe it Carla. It was like?. like?. well?.
it was like every Fourth of July fireworks display I've witnessed in my
entire life, all going off at one time."
"Wow!" she responded. "That sounds about right. Congratulations luv.
We're all very proud of you."
"All?" I asked, confused.
"Yeah. You know. Debbie. Regina Rae. Me. Even Candy!"
"Candy knows?!" I asked, perplexed at how fast my news had traveled.
"Well?. she was serving Regina Rae and I breakfast this morning when
Debbie called."
"When did she call?" I asked, wondering when she could have placed a
call.
"This morning. Right after Chad left. She said you were in the shower."
'Wow!' Debbie sure didn't waste time spreading the word.
"She also mentioned that you talked to her about our conversation
yesterday. You remember? About getting real breasts? I think that is
fantastic Lee Anne!"
'Jeez!' I had no secrets from any of these women. "Yeah," I acknowledged.
"We did discuss it briefly. I don't know if I'm going to yet. Debbie said
she would look into it. I don't really see how I can do that and hide it
here at work."
"Well, if it means anything, you know that I think it would be a great
idea. And don't worry about things here at work. You could press them in
close to your body with a special, tight sports bra and I seriously doubt
anyone would be the wiser."
"We'll see," I replied, extremely uncomfortable with the ease with which
Carla was discussing these sensitive subjects with me. "That would be a
big step that I'm not certain I'm ready for."
"It sure would," she went on. "But I just know that you'd love having
them." Then, without notice, she shifted gears on me and asked, "So, are
we all set for today's meeting? I assume Chad is going to sign now.
Right?"
"I assume so," I replied, relieved that she dropped the breast
conversation. "Debbie and I sure did what we were asked to do," I
giggled, with Carla joining in.
The discussion about me losing my cherry to Chad out of the way, there
was no more fooling around between Carla and I at that point. She went
about her work and I did the same. I actually had a number of things to
keep me busy. I was glad my mind was preoccupied. Before I knew it, two
o'clock had arrived and Carla was announcing Regina Rae, Chad and
Elizabeth Morgan.
As we exchanged pleasantries, Chad gave me a look that said a little more
than, 'Let's get this deal done.' I smiled back at him, knowing full well
what he was thinking. I wondered if he had told Elizabeth Morgan about
me. 'Certainly he wouldn't have told her about last night,' I thought. At
least, I hoped not.
Getting right to the point, I asked, "So! Are we all set? Did things go
to your client's satisfaction last night Elizabeth?" I couldn't believe
what a liar I was.
"Yes Lee," she replied. "As a matter of fact, Chad tells me he was quite
pleased with the way the evening went. I didn't get a lot of the details,
but apparently this Debbie and Lee Anne are quite the Terrible Twins.
Needless to say, my client is ready to keep his end of the bargain."
"Excellent!" I exclaimed, laying the Settlement Agreement before Chad to
sign, anxious to get this part of the transaction behind me. Just before
he signed, he looked at me and winked. I hoped no one else noticed. But
Regina Rae was smiling at me. I knew that she was aware of precisely what
happened. Once Chad signed I passed the agreement to Regina Rae for her
signature. I then handed Regina Rae's check for $500,000.00 to Chad and
that was that.
"Alright," I said, addressing Regina Rae and Chad. "We lawyers will do
the rest of the work to get an order prepared and entered by a judge and
your divorce will be final before the end of the week."
Regina Rae turned to Chad and took his hand, "You know Chad, despite
everything that has happened, I do still care for you. I hope we can
still be friends. I even hope we can hang out together some."
"That would be fine by me Regina Rae," Chad agreed. "There are no hard,
er, I mean, feelings of ill will here," he said, grinning as he flashed a
sideward glance toward me.
I wondered if anyone else caught Chad's little twist of phrase as I cast
a quick glance at his bulge. I was definitely hoping that Chad and I
would meet again in the future. 'Terrible Twins indeed!' I thought. I
kind of liked that moniker. I couldn't wait to tell Debbie of our new
nickname.
As our meeting was breaking up, Elizabeth Morgan asked me if she might
have a private word with me, to discuss the terms of the order we were
going to prepare. Regina Rae and Chad agreed to wait in our waiting area.
When they stepped out, Elizabeth closed my office door and turned to face
me. She had a strange smile on her face as she walked right up to me and
said, "I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but I'm a pretty
damned good divorce lawyer. I make sport out of chewing up and spitting
out corporate guys like you who trespass in my arena. Know what I mean?"
she asked, piercing my continence with her steely eyes.
I could see how she'd obtained her 'tough woman' reputation. I didn't
know how to respond to her words though, as I couldn't figure out what
her point was. Swallowing hard, I tried to speak. Before I could though,
she interrupted me and continued. "Yes! I think you have heard of me.
Anyway, I just want you to know that I guarantee you that I would have
kicked your silk-stockinged ass all over the courtroom if we'd gone to
trial. And your client would have paid mine a hell of a lot more than
$500,000.00. Having said that," she continued, softening her tone a bit,
"I have to tell you that I am impressed with your ingenuity. I don't know
any other lawyers who would have done what you've done to extract this
agreement from the opposition. You do know what I mean now? Don't you?"
she asked commandingly.
Again, I just swallowed hard. "Right!" she snipped. "I could probably
cause you a bit of trouble over this Lee? Anne. But I won't. I do what my
clients want. And Chad wanted this. But if I ever hear anyone in the
legal community even hint that you are bragging about getting the better
of me, your sissy ass will be grass! Are we clear?" she seethed.
Swallowing hard, yet again, I barely choked out, "Yes. I understand. I
promise. You have nothing to worry about."
"Goody!" she said cheerily, abruptly changing tone. "Now, there's just
one more thing. You know," she started, as though we were best buddies
and she hadn't just threatened to ruin me, "I've never considered taking
on a partner before, but I kind of admire how far you seem to be willing
to go on behalf of a client. If things don't work out here, I'd love to
talk about hooking up. Keep that in mind. Okay?"
"Er, sure," I squeaked. "I'll do that."
She turned to leave, but paused as she got to the door, turned back to me
and then kind of eyed me up and down. "You know, I've been trying to
picture you as a girl. I bet you clean up pretty good," she grinned. She
then exited my office, leaving me standing there, completely shell-
shocked.
Within a minute or so Regina Rae returned to my office. "What was that
about?" she asked.
Trying to, but probably failing, to regain my composure, I answered, "Oh
nothing really. We just discussed the details of the order we have to
prepare."
"Oh," she replied, indicating that she wasn't entirely convinced. "That's
all?"
"Well," I continued, slowly recovering my wits, "She did suggest that
she'd like to discuss becoming law partners with me."
"Really?!" she exclaimed. "Wouldn't that be interesting?! Well, no need
to worry about that, now that you're going to be a partner here and all.
Still, that's a very interesting proposition indeed."
"Yes," I agreed. "It is."
"So!" she went on. "Are we going to talk about it?" she smiled slyly.
"Talk about what?" I replied coyly, knowing full well what she was
referring to.
"You know 'What?' you little slut! You even have that 'I've been fucked
for the first time' glow. Now, I want to hear all about it."
So I told her every detail. When I finished, she said, "This has been a
big week for you Lee Anne. You've discovered your identity as a beautiful
woman. You've shown yourself to be an amazing cocksucker. Last night you
lost your virginity. And today you're going to be made partner in your
law firm. What might tomorrow bring?" she mused.
I could only wonder. The only thing Regina Rae had listed just now that
was on my 'List of Things to Do' was making partner in my law firm. It
was a goal I'd been pursuing for several years. I just never thought that
the act that would take me over the top would be an act that took me over
the top.
Just then Carla stuck her head in my door. "Hey boss. The big man wants
you upstairs in the conference room right away. Says it's urgent!"
The three of us looked at each other. The message sounded ominous. My
stomach immediately went into knots. I figured I better get up there
pronto. I hurriedly told Regina Rae goodbye and said that I'd call her to
let her know what else, if anything, she'd need to do to finalize the
divorce. I then nervously headed upstairs to see what Mr. Hopkins wanted.
Our firm has a very large conference room where they hold partners'
meetings, conduct in-house seminars and meet with our major clients. It's
called "The Fish Bowl" because it has glass on the entire interior wall
as well as huge windows revealing a magnificent view of San Francisco
Bay. As I approached the conference room I noticed that the curtains on
the interior wall were drawn, preventing me from seeing into the room.
Butterflies were flying around inside my tummy. 'God!' I hoped nothing
was wrong. 'Had they found out about what happened with Chad?' If they
had, I'd be fired on the spot. The leaders of this firm would never
tolerate such deviant sexual behavior.
I knocked on the door and heard Mr. Hopkins' somber sounding voice
answer, "Come in." Opening the door to enter, I was stunned to see that
the room was packed. There were so many people in the room that I was
unable to make out exactly who was there. As I panned the room I realized
that every man present was one of the partners in the firm. Then, as I
looked toward the rear of the room, a woman slowly stood up. It was
Debbie. 'What in the world was Debbie doing here?' I nervously wondered.
She looked great too! She was dressed like the perfect little lawyer's
wife, wearing a black tank-top sheath dress with a single strand of
pearls around her neck. Her hair was made up just so and she was beaming
from ear to ear.
I looked back toward Mr. Hopkins and saw that he was grinning just as
broadly as Debbie. As was everyone in the room now. Mr. Hopkins stuck out
his hand to shake mine and said, "Howdy pawdna!"
'Partner?' Did I hear him right? Oh my God! This was it! I was being made
partner! The expression on my face must have been priceless to the men
(and woman) in the room. Just then I heard a load "Pop!" as someone
released the cork on a bottle of champagne. The doors on either end of
the room swung open as several waiters dressed in black tie and vests
entered and began serving champagne to everyone in the room. Debbie made
her way toward me through the crowd and gave me a huge hug.
"Congratulations sweetie! You did it!"
I thanked her, then thanked Mr. Hopkins and then kept thanking each of
the other partners as they approached to congratulate me. Once everyone
had a glass of champagne, Mr. Hopkins raised his glass to make a toast.
"To Lee Montgomery! He is one of the brightest young attorneys to ever
grace these hallowed halls. He has made us proud and we welcome him as
the latest to join our ranks as partner. May the association be long and
fruitful!"
Everyone yelled agreement. "Hear, hear!" they shouted as they raised
their glasses. And then the party began. Other members of the law firm
staff began parading through the conference room, grabbing a glass of
champagne, and congratulating me. Our firm always made naming someone a
partner a big event, but it was usually done at a nearby restaurant. My
party was taking place right in our office. As the champagne flowed, I
could sense that no one was going to work anymore today. Secretaries and
paralegals approached to congratulate me and to ingratiate themselves to
me. The other associates also expressed their pleasure over my good
fortune, although I sensed some jealously on their part. The event was
taking on a special quality as everyone joined in the celebration. And
while I expected that I would be named a partner based upon Regina Rae's
case, I didn't see the announcement coming this quickly or quite like
this. I was caught completely by surprise.
As I was receiving hugs and handshakes from all of my well-wishers, Carla
walked up, put her arms around me, and gave me a big hug. "Way to go Lee
Anne," she whispered in my ear. "You're the closest this place is ever
going to come to naming a female partner." She then quickly planted a wet
kiss on my lips.
I was a bit shaken by what she had said, fearful that she might be
overheard. That was the last thing I wanted any of the others to hear. I
also hoped none of my new partners thought her kiss was out of line
either. I had only just now been made a partner. No paperwork had even
been signed. I didn't want the others to think I would engage in such
activity with my secretary, even though I would. And had. And more.
I really couldn't say anything about it to her at the time though, so I
simply smiled and thanked her. We touched our glasses together and sipped
our champagne. As we did so, I noticed two more familiar faces on the
other side of the room. Regina Rae was here also. She was talking to her
father, Hal Morris. Mr. Morris caught my eye and motioned for me to join
them. I moved through the crowd shaking hands as I went. Being the center
of attention was fun.
As I approached Hal Morris he grabbed me and shook my hand. He told me
how happy he was for me and was glad that he had been able to help,
emphasizing that he was the one who made it happen for me. He said it was
the least he could do for me after everything I had done to assist his
"little girl". As he went on Regina Rae stood a bit behind him, smiling
and winking at me. I thanked him profusely and assured him that I was
happy to have been in a position to assist Regina Rae; although I thought
to myself he was bit off the mark to think of his daughter as a "little
girl". She was anything but.
About then Regina Rae piped in, "He really was great Daddy. I didn't know
lawyers would go to such lengths to assist their clients. But I'm
convinced now that Lee would do whatever I asked of him. He really went
the extra mile." She then hugged me and kissed me on the cheek as she
thanked me in front of her father.
The party went on for the rest of the afternoon, stretching into the
evening. After a while, folks began drifting off. I won't say how much we
drank that day, but I don't think anyone was feeling any pain as they
departed. I know that I wasn't. In fact, I only vaguely remember leaving.
I remember that Debbie, Regina Rae and Carla helped me out of the
building and into a car. I must have passed out at some point because
when I woke up I was very groggy and disoriented. I felt like I had been
drugged. As it turned out, I had been.

wonderful feedback about "Woman Partner". I am really happy that so many
people are enjoying the adventure. This is my first story, and I never
imagined that it would be so well received. Some have expressed that they
wish the chapters would come faster. I thought it would be more fun to
spread things out, which is part of why I didn't publish the entire story
right away. But now, I find that I am reviewing each chapter before
publishing it and am working to refine each one, to ensure that it is as
well written as possible. I think the final product is benefitting from
the extra effort. Please be patient as I try to provide you the best
