Before he could knock the door was thrust open. A slender hand with
long manicured nails grabbed him by the ear and with a twisting motion
pulled him inside.
Kimberly Dawson was not particularly tall, but Larry Marx was short for
a boy and the way she held his ear forced Larry to crouch. Kim towered
over him.
"What are you doing here?" she demanded.
Larry held flowers in front of her with one had. With his other hand
he pulled a crumpled note from his breast pocket, holding out the note

"It's only 9:05," Kimmy stated flatly. "My Daddy might have seen you
come in."
Kimberly wore an oversized T-shirt and pajama bottoms. Locks of golden

been replaced with thick wide framed glasses. He was surprised to
learn that she actually has brown eyes. Overall she didn't seem ready
for a date. Perhaps he hadn't given her time to prepare.
Kimberly walked away. Larry just stood there in indecision until she
called, "Are you coming." He chased after her like a puppy.
She led him to a bedroom. It was well decorated, but had no personal
affects; probably a guest room. Larry felt a gentle breath blow in his
ear. "Turn out the lights and make yourself comfortable. I'll be
right back."
Kim made her way to the basement door of her house. This door was
locked from the outside. She removed the chain, then the deadbolt,
then the wooden barricade. She knocked three times and whispered, "I
brought what you wanted." As Kim walked away the door crept open.
Larry laid upon the queen-sized bed. The rooms only light came from
the hallway, then it went out. He was in total darkness. He felt
another person get onto the bed next to him. She breathed in his ear.

Larry awoke in a cold sweat. He tore off his shirt and looked at the

For a whole month Larry had dreamt of that night but he would always
forget the dreams when he awoke. Now he remembered it all so vividly.
Larry changed out of his pajamas then put on some sneakers and a coat.
He was determined to confront Kimberly about what happened.
When he opened his door the full moon beamed upon him like the sun on a
scorching hot day. Not sure what to make of this he grabbed a baseball
cap and continued on his way. However the light grew more intense with
each moment. Soon he turned back and locked the door behind him.
His skin tingled from the few moments of exposure. Larry ran a hand
over his face wiping away the sweat. The skin felt soft and smooth.
Usually he would have a ruff shadow of stubble by this hour. The skin
was smooth not only in the sense of being hairless, but just soft.
He went to a window that faced the moon. For a moment he stared at the
curtains then throwing caution to the wind he thrust the curtains open.
The moonlight immediately struck him. Larry forced himself to
withstand it just long enough to know the feeling was growing more
intense with each moment.
With a jerking motion he thrust the curtains shut.
Feeling dizzy he took two steps back. The he slipped and was about to
fall when two hands caught him. Larry was relieved for a moment until
he realized that he was supposed to be alone in the house.
Next, a cloth covered his mouth. The cloth was wet with a sweet
smelling liquid. He passed out.
In a few minutes Larry awoke duct-taped to a chair. Standing in front
of him was Kimberly.
"You're probably wondering what's going on. You see my mom has this
curse. Before I was born she was some guy, yes guy, named Jeremy
Lint. Jeremy was protesting my Daddy's land development in Honduras so
Daddy hired a witch to change Jeremy a little. There was one catch, on
full moons mom remembers who she was and can pass the curse to another

"Why are you doing this?" Jeremy demanded.
"It's simple, most of the time my moms just some stupid gold-digging
bimbo but on full moons she screams and screams. She says she hates
me, she says she hates my father, she begs me to find out what happened
to Jeremy's family, she calls me a child of rape. Do you know what it
does to a girl growing up with that. Daddy just laughs at what she
says, so I'm setting her free."
"What'll happen to you?"
"Me? You're kind. I thought you would ask about yourself first. I
don't know. I'm not a witch."
Kimberly inched toward the curtain. Finally Larry whispered, "Why me?"
"It's not you. You're just a sort of go-between," she said with an
awkward smile. "I'm sorry about this." Kimberly took a cell phone
from her pocket and placed in on the counter. She opened the curtains
she waited. Larry sweated and recoiled from the moonlight. His body
twisted and reshaped itself.

Kimberly went to the local park. She sat alone on the swing and cried,

When she tried to return to a sitting position her feet no longer

Carl Dawson, Kimberly's father, was furious. He he'd been laughing at
the screams of his wife whom he locked up every full moon and the voice
of those screams had suddenly become male.
"What am I doing here? Please let me go," a whiny mans voice pleaded.
He rushed off to his computer. Like every overbearing father he had a
GPS on his daughters cell phone. A red dotted pointed the phones
location as 17 Elm Street.
He sped toward the house. 'That stupid, tramp was with him last month.
She must know how this happened.'
Larry now Lori had somehow managed to get out of the chair. The tape
was not meant to hold her long. Her body felt strange and foreign. It
was delicate and curvy, a women's body. She looked like Kimberly.
Very much like Kimberly to be honest. She was still 21 years old yet
somehow knew this body had given birth. Her daughter couldn't possibly
be Kimberly's age. She wore expensive jewelry and fur like a rich mans

Carl Dawson rushed the house. He saw a cell phone on the counter what
he for a moment thought was his daughter removing tape from a fur coat.

Upon seeing each other they both remembered a second life a life

hand patted her on the head. She turned to look. The lady smiled
