After the second meeting, I felt really happy for my friend and a little jealous too. But obviously he was my best friend and I couldn’t do anything which would hurt him. The days slowly itched by and Ava started to attend our gang meeting’s where all our friends used to hang around in front of the canteen. Since there were both guys and girls in the gang, naturally Ava got closer to everybody and before we knew it she became like any other member of the gang. But like every couple, even my friends had their issues and I started seeing Ava alone for the gang meeting’s more often. Zameer(the friend) often found new excuses to ignore her. But this didn’t deter Ava from meeting the rest of the gang and as a matter of fact she looked much happier alone than she was with Zameer. And I kept my distance from her but I was also a good friend to her. Messaged between us friends were the easiest and most efficient method of communication and thank god text messages replaced letters. We messaged each other often but it was always a conversation between 2 friends and thus nobody bothered about it. After a month, our college closed down for the summer and all of us returned home. But no matter where you are in this world you can keep in touch with anybody, well that’s the beauty about the 21st century. And we exploited that fact by talking to each other more often .She even confessed to me one day that she talked to me more than she talked to her boyfriend. I felt bad about that and I tried to reduce the frequency but I realized that I couldn’t able to talk to her. Soon we became really close and we shared conversations which were supposed to be shared with a trusted partner. But neither me nor she made any move to make our feelings known to each other .One month went by faster than a movie , and we were back in college once again. My birthday is a very special day and one week before it, I decided to party. So we went to this club one night and had party.
