Then God made Adam, and showed him all creation.
But Adam felt all alone in the world, and a shadow befell his
countenance. So God spoke to him, and asked him about the very thing that
was bothering him.
Knowing nothing, Adam could not articulate his frustrations to God. On a
hunch, he pointed down at the dangling piece of flesh at his crotch. Adam

"You've never seen them before, let alone know what these are for, why
would you want them bigger?" asked God.
"I've seen the fruit of the trees you've made, and these are like fruit
to mine eyes. The bigger they are the better they shall fulfil me,"
replied Adam.
So God modified the vision accordingly.
"I'd like her to be smaller than me please," said Adam.
"It is only fair that she is of the same size and therefore the same
strength as you are," said God.
"But you've shown me that there is no fairness in nature, and I'm
particularly frightened by that jet black spider that ate its mate
yesterday. Make her smaller, please?" asked Adam.
"Like this?" asked God, and the woman in the vision shrank until she was
about 12% smaller than Adam was.
"No, no, no, no, no. Keep her breasts the size it was!" protested Adam.
"Okay. Will this keep you happy?" asked God.
So Adam walked around the 3D vision of the mate that God was creating for
him, and stood for a time behind her. "Hmmm," he said and rubbed his
thumb against his chin.
"What is it now?" asked God, getting impatient. An artist never liked it
when a critic advised changes.
"Her butt isn't big enough," he replied and this time, it was a purely
instinctive request.
"Oh... Me," groaned God, and promptly enlarged the woman's butt.
So Adam stared at the woman's face and chest and legs for a long time,
and wondered what was actually bothering him so much. God had already
explained to him that his mate would be a perfect match for him, same in
size and build, except with a hole in front at the exact same spot where
he had his protrusion. But despite the modifications, he couldn't figure
out what was actually bothering him so much.
"I'll proceed to make her then," said God suddenly when Adam had been
silent for too long.
"Wait! Please wait. I'm not sure. She... she bothers me a lot," said
Adam.
"What is it this time?"
"Could you remove her beard please? Why, just remove all hair on her body
and limbs please, particularly her breasts. She's as hairy as I am! Can't
we be as different as the lion and the lioness?" asked Adam.
"I can't remember thinking about pettiness as a trait when I designed
you, son," said God, now quite annoyed. Adam could tell when God was a
wee bit angry by the darkening skies and the rumble of distant thunders
in the rolling clouds.
"Well, you did say that you made me in your image. So maybe, just maybe,
my pettiness comes from..." said Adam, his voice a little bit squeaky
out of fear, but ultimately defiant nevertheless.
"Enough!" roared God, and a single shaft of white light from the heavens
smote the earth right where Adam was standing, and burned him to a crisp.
"Guess I will call that lightning," said God, quite surprised by his own
creativity.
But he was saddened that his newest creation had killed Adam, and for a
while he wondered if he should resurrect such a fussy creature.
He thought about it for a while, and then took a short nap, but not
before fulfilling Adam's final request, removing hair from all over her
body, except for those on her head and at her crotch.
When He awoke, He looked at the charred remains of Adam, and then at the
image of the mate He was about to create for Adam and shook His head. He
loved Adam, because Adam was created in his image. But the woman had been
modified so much that she barely resembled Him. Looking at her, He was
struck by her beauty and her gracefulness, and He smiled as He remembered
Adam's petty requests.
He decided to resurrect Adam then, but He was also quite adamant that a
male of the species, one that would hunt for food, and provide protection
to its mate, would not survive long as a species if it was so fussy.
He snapped his fingers and the sound rumbled around the world twice.
Adam awoke suddenly, and was grateful that God had decided to resurrect
him.
Again.
It was the third time that he'd been resurrected today, and every time,
he awoke and felt grateful and learnt to be a little bit more careful the
next time.
But this time, he awoke and looked down at the charred earth where the
lightning had struck, and wondered what framed the bottom part of his
view of the blackened earth thus. So he held out both his hands and
pushed those creamy white things out of his view and was amazed.
"I have breasts! Why do I have breasts?" asked Adam aloud. "And where is
my penis?"
Adam frantically searched his crotch once he had spread his breasts wide
enough to see that something had disappeared down there as well, and by
using his much smaller hands and touch, confirmed what his sight had told

"I've decided that you are to be the woman instead, Adam," said God,
smiling at his newest creation, "And it is an apt form for that streak of

you do, my God," pleaded Adam.
"But you are the embodiment of pickiness!" replied God.
"Take it away then. I don't need that trait. Just return me to my form,

"I can't. If I took it away, then you can't be you. Do you understand? It
would be just like you've died," replied God.
"But... how can I live like this?" asked Adam.
"Go to sleep, Adam. When you awake, someone that looks a lot like you
once did will awaken you. He too will be called Adam. I'll call him Adam
2.0. Well, maybe just Adam," said God.
"Two Adamses?"
"Why not?"
"Two Adamses!"
"Alright! Alright!"
There was the distant rumble of thunder again, and Adam shuddered.
"He'll give you a new name," said God.
"This can't be right... he's the Second, and I'm the First!"
"Just go to sleep!" And so God blew softly at Adam's face, and he fell
into a swoon.
A little while later, Adam was awakened because his body shook. And his
body shook because something was lying on top of his body, and he felt
both his breasts being caressed, while down where he once had a penis, he
could feel something inside him instead!
He tried to push the being off his body, but he soon realized that the

the first place. But he remembered God's command, that the new Adam would
rename him.
"Alright, I'll be Eve," said the newly christened Eve, "But I'm still the
male in the species! I get to rule kingdoms and lead armies!"
"With such puny slim arms, how will you have the strength to throw a
spear and to hunt? With such slim and small feet how will you run far and
fast as you give chase to your prey?" asked the new Adam, "God has spoken
to me, and he says that you will no longer be a 'he', but a 'she', and
that if you agree to the proposal, he will never ever have to strike you
down again."
"Like Hell I will take this lying down!" shouted Eve angrily, but he knew
the new Adam was right, and he didn't want to be struck down a fourth
time. Eve looked at the new Adam angrily, and then he remembered
something. The smouldering anger evident on his face melted into a wicked
smile. "Fine," he replied, "I'll be a she!"
Thus he became a she - the first one to cross the great sexual divide.
And she decided immediately to go looking for the serpent with the forked
tongue and the increasingly intriguing sales pitch about a tree with a
forbidden fruit that had been created for the sole purpose of tempting
Adam and bring about his downfall, but that is another story altogether.
