preface; Although this story may sound like an attempt at actual

What makes a day seem different than any other? Nothing? I mean every so

an immovable piece of art, or what are the odds I'll swap gender or turn
into a frog?" Yeah, right! That would assume that magic is real and come
on everybody knows it aint, right?, or is it? Up untill a certain day in
my life I myself would scoff at people wondering about such absurd odds if
somehow they mentioned them while conversing. Let me tell you about that
day.
Saturday, what a great day, most of the time, a day off planned and
excecuted perfectly is always a good feeling, sometimes great. This
particular Saturday was a day set aside for shopping, in particular,
grocery. I moseyed down to the local mega-mart and grabbed a cart. I
unfortunatley made the mistake of shopping while hungary. Thats what
happens when you sleep in and hit the road an hour before you start
getting hungary again. So here I am mid-shopping trip and not only am I
starving, but I have to use the bathroom. This paticular store though it
is huge is kind of old school. They don't really have customer bathrooms,
but by law must have the employee bathrooms in the back marked so you can
find them. When I went past the swinging bar style doors to my suprise
was a shopping cart parking area for restroom users. I thought that was
nice touch for such an old store. From there I had to walk past a couple
isles of backroom storage to get to the restroom doors. As I passed one
of them which was dimly lit down on the end I thought I saw something, so
I looked and it startled me thinking I saw a person, but then upon longer
inspection it appeared to be a mannequin. So I kept going to take care of
my buisness. However I got a cold chill down my spine.
I started thinking about what a grocery store needed a mannequin for. If
they ever needed life people looking things, they were ususally cardboard
and over by the in store Subway. No, they didn't have any displays of any
kind that would require a mannequin. Maybe the owner of this store owned
a clothing or department store. Maybe It's some sort of inter store prank
or maybe it's like two grudge match footbal teams from different towns and
this is this store's way of taking the mascot from the Sears next door.
Who knows, but it sure kills the time thinking about this stuff when your
in a gross place and wish you didn't need to use it. Ziippp. Hmmm, maybe
Ill check it out on the way back, as long as nobody sees me go in there.
I mean, like how embarrasing would that be?
The coast is clear, I move down the isle and sure enough It's a mannequin,
female, undressed a model with hair, a curley redhead. That seems odd.
I've never seen a mannequin with red hair and I don't remember ever seeing
one with curley hair either. Most that I've ever seen are bald or blonde.
So I wonder if it's attached or a wig, I pull on it. Ow, who pulled my
hair?! I quickly turn and find nobody, however I find it a little strange
that upon turning and abrubtly stopping my hair didn't seem to. I have
short hair, like a #4 cut on a wahl hair cutting tool. So I freak out a
little thinking maybe I just got in a spider web, oh I hate spiders. So I
brush my hands in a frantic move to clear my self of whatever spider may
be on my head only realize that this extra mass of fiber is not sticky,

red and curley. What the f___!? I immediately look at the mannequin and

think to myself. The note now reads," I know." So what is this the two
word post-it-note magic mannequin? So I figure if we swapped hair before
maybe I could touch the hair again, trade back and be on my way, forget
this ever happened and go on living a "normal" life, or well lets jus try
the hair again first. And, nothing, zero zilch nada. Now what? Oh, look
the note changed back to the previous two words. It's at this point that
I start to get a bad feeling and that sensation goes down my spine again.
That may be because I started to realize that I may never get my hair back
and this is kinda fascinating, turning me on a bit in excitement, not
knowing what will happen or even what's going on. It does play into a
fantasy of mine sort-of. I've been a bit caught up in inanimate
transformations for some time. Could this be a possible outcome, or maybe

and she was captured by it for about ten herself. One of the previous was
in it for a day another for a year, but one poor soul was trapped for 20
years. On her way out she wishes me the best of luck and says she doesn't
know what's supposed to happen to ten. She figured nothing since that was
supposed to be the run of the curse. Well here I am. Stuck.
But then a stockroom clerk comes in to change a light bulb. "Who put this
here?" he mumbles under his breath referring to me. He manages not to
touch me as he sets up his ladder and change his bulb. On the way down
though the ladder shifts he nearly drops the bulb and bare hands a breast.
He is in shock as he realizes it feels like warm flesh. Suddenly the new
bulb bursts above us he lunges my direction and touches me all over. He
is in shock as he feels girley parts pleasure, and oh what a ride so do I.
I feel everything he does. As he realizes that parts of him are getting
stiff he starts to freak out, yet keeps his cool enough to not draw

Wait a minute how did I read his thoughts? He sees the note and ponders

a time on the note. He takes considerable time contemplating the possible
results of going one way or the other. Since nothing wears out he decides
he's committed, he's going all the way. He does it quickly and well, more
or less poof I'm human again but cant move myself yet. Snap, thats better
I'm back in control and he's a she statue. Wait a minute her complexion
is softening she is becoming human again also, unfortunately staying a
she, I sensed that that when she was a he, he was proud of his gender and
considered being female a curse. I steel the clercks pants and jacket and
make a b-line for the exit. She needs no explaining the curse is broke.
I make it out before she can move or speak.
So I find my spare key and drive home. Now I'm wondering what sort of day
my girlfriend is going to have.
