Several days later, after Justin had started learning a bit about
women's fashions he happened to remark that "Women's clothing is so
much different than men's clothing. There was so much to worry about.

Karen said that wasn't always true. Women usually wear the same types
of things as men. Well dresses and skirts are an exception. But it's
really all the same thing." Then she jokingly said, "I'll bet you
could wear clothing from my closet and no one would even notice."
Patty felt a bit devilish. Patty didn't know that the pen was
corrupting her. The wizard would have told her but she never asked.
Patty suggested, after she pressed down the clicker on her pen. "Justin
why don't you take that bet and make Mom wear your clothes and see if
anyone notices?" When she released the clicker she continued, "Why not
dress as each other as much as you can in a way that no one would
notice and then go shopping to see if it worked." Both thought it was
a great idea and Karen led Justin to her room.
Thinking about it, it was her idea, Karen thought that as far as the
panties go, it didn't matter how girlie they were since no one would
see them. She decided upon a cute bikini panty in a multicolored
striped pattern. She could have had him wear a pair of her socks that
she usually wore at the gym, but she decided that a pair of white
cotton tights was so much more feminine and under pants no one would
notice. Next the most unisex type of clothing he would wear is a pair
of his mother's jeans. Karen was never too curvy and so almost any
style of jeans would do. But she made sure the brand name wasn't
stereo-typically womanly even though she thought no one would notice
that. Next she decided that he couldn't wear a bra, someone might
notice the bra straps and after all she didn't wear a bra all the time
anyway. Next he would need a shirt, but she decided to give him a
loose fitting scoop neck tunic in cranberry. She could have just given
him one of her t-shirts but everyone wore t-shirts, men don't wear
tunics although what the real difference is open to debate.
Then she saw it, it was a women's polo shirt. It had four buttons on
top. It was in a soft blue but it wasn't a girlie color. Because it
was a women's shirt the buttons buttoned on the opposite side than a
mens shirt. She knew no one would notice. Boys and men didn't know
such things and women who did know wouldn't notice or even if they did
they would be polite enough not to say anything.
The last thing was shoes. She really couldn't have him wear any of her
shoes. It wasn't a matter of size but there was no way to not notice
they weren't women's shoes, especially since most of them had some sort
of heel. But even the flats wouldn't do. She looked at her sneakers,
but they had pink trim and she didn't want to embarrass her son, this
was just a fun bet. She decided that he would have to wear his own
sneakers, but that for their shopping excursion they would buy him a
pair of white (or white and blue) women's sneakers.
Because Justin was wearing his own sneakers, Karen didn't have any of
his shoes to wear either when it was time to pick clothes from his
closet. But before that happened, Patty went to her Mom's room to see
how it was progressing. She was delighted when she saw the panties and
the tights. Karen indicated to Justin that he should change. But
before he left the room, Patty with her pen already clicked said to
both of them, "We are all family, you are never embarrassed to change
in front of each other." Why she said it she didn't know. Maybe she
just wanted to see Justin put on his mom's clothes. Or she might have
been influenced by the pen. Either way, Justin got naked right in
front of them and quickly put on the panties which was as easy as
putting on his own briefs. The problem was the tights. It was
actually a good thing that his mom didn't give him privacy to get
dressed, because if left alone he would have torn them. Karen showed
Justin how to ball up the tights and slip it on each foot one at a

little tougher since they were sheerer and more likely to run. That
was the hard part and soon he was dressed.
He looked fine, He might be a bit out of place wearing a polo shirt
among his friends, but since he was with his mother no one would give
it a second thought, let alone that the buttons were on the wrong side.
They then adjourned to Justin's room to select some of his clothes.
On the way, Patty asked Justin how he felt in his mom's clothes.
Justin said he was a bit uncomfortable, meaning he felt that wearing
girl's (or women's in this case) clothes just felt awkward. Patty took
out her pen and told him he would find wearing women's clothing even
more comfortable than boy's clothing. Patty knew what Justin meant
when he said his clothes were uncomfortable. But with Patty's
suggestion, not only wouldn't Justin feel awkward wearing his mom's
things, but he would actually enjoy wearing them since they felt so
good on his body. He thought that the panties were smoother than boy's
briefs. The tights felt so good hugging his legs. The polo shirt felt
softer than his usual t-shirts. Because of Patty's suggestion, if
Justin wore a bra he would find it supported his chest snugly even
though he didn't have any breasts that needed support.
There was nothing that Karen couldn't wear. Even the ripped jeans that
she chose were in style now. She quickly put on the clothes. For a
moment, she was naked in front of her son, but unlike in the dressing
room neither was embarrassed in the least. It was very quick and easy
to get dressed in Justin's clothes. She put on the boys briefs, they
were very much like plain white cotton panties. The material might
have been a bit thicker but it didn't matter. There was also a fly in
front, she didn't have to use it. Besides some girls panties that
Karen saw actually had a faux fly. She didn't know why they would make
such a thing, but it didn't bother her too much either. Other than
that, everything was just like the women's clothes she wore. Jeans, t-
shirts, socks were all the same for boys and girls. Girl's clothing
might be cut a bit differently, but they didn't have to be.
Getting dresses was only half the bet, the rest of the bet was to then
go to the mall and see if anyone noticed. Even though no one would
care, Justin still hoped he wouldn't run into any of his friends while
out. Once they got to the mall, they went into Walmart and got women's
sneakers in a white and blue for Justin and boys sneakers for Karen.
Justin was a bit nervous that someone would notice he was wearing
tights while he was trying on the sneakers to make sure they fit. The
tights were a bit thinner than socks, but it was close enough. No one
took any notice. Karen also would get some boys shoes in her size. In
the end the only different between the shoes they wore was the name of
the size, Karen was wearing a men's size six and Justin was wearing a
women's size 8. They left the store wearing their new purchases.
