DSRS Exile Fleet, part 2 By: Erika Madison The jump would take twelve and a half days to complete, and Larissa hoped that they could complete the installation of the Laser Cannons before then. She really wasn't looking forward to trying to adapt the research laser drills or the laser cutters to be used as weapons. So now she was pleased that they would at least have a means of self-defense if needed. When they had left the fleet's ship yards she was totally unaware as to why Res had insisted they visit the bone yards at Omega. For a computer built and originally programmed by DST Corp. she trusted his judgment. Now she had two of her closest friends from the underground with her, as well as nineteen other young Transgender girls together on the four ships. As they flew in close formation Larissa voiced a new concern to her friends. But it was Res who provided an answer. "You know they are going to be doing their best to build more of these don't you?" she said in the Captains Meeting which now included Cloe. "Yes and you can bet they won't have to steal any guns to arm them to the teeth," put in Bonnie. "Oh Captains, I rather doubt they'll be building any more like us," interjected Res into the meeting with a little giggle. For a computer he'd developed his own personality. "And why is that?" asked Cloe. "They have an unlimited supply of Research Probe Ships to use as a base." "After transmitting the data to you ladies I removed several lines of code that would allow the individual systems to synchronize." Stated Res with complete confidence. "Further, I placed an additional tag on the entire design. It was triggered when we launched, that's why the Admiral had the Destroyer ready to intercept us. When you boarded and assumed command the bug began permanently deleting the design and every part of it from their computers." Res' laughter was Maniacal. "You know for a computer, you are sometimes Scary," stated Larissa. "Yes but you love me that way, you can admit it" he said. "Yes I do Love," she said with a grin of her own. "One thing I can't understand about the design. You have five gravity generators, not just the little one that maintains internal gravity but four larger ones for ships ten times our size," said Shelly. Giggling now Cloe showed just how much she was beginning to grasp of the design. "If you reverse the flow of energy, those four become Anti- Gravity generators, Correct?" "Yes Cloe, giving the ship the capability to land on a planetary surface without damage. Or you can focus them into a concentrated beam and push another ship away. They can also be used to strengthen our defensive shields," she saw the other three captains as they began to realize just how strong their own shields could be." Eight days into the jump Tabitha reported that she had the three cannons ready for a test. The other engineers were close behind her. They had three dozen unmanned drone probes, so Larissa decided to expend one from each ship to test the guns and get an idea of their accuracy. Unknown to Tabitha and the other engineers, Darla and the other Navigators were practicing, piloting the drones. They had just enough warning as each shot was taken to dodge the drones. Thus making for an interesting game as they learned to lead and alternate the guns. "Captains Log, DSRS Exile, Star date 2374.361. We are now fully armed and our crews have tested the new guns and gotten some training in how to use them. The other Captains and I are happy to know that if push comes to shove we can at least defend ourselves." "We are preparing for the Drop out at Orion where we intend to take on more supplies and allow the other crews to find what they can for uniforms since they all like what my crew and I are wearing. It sure beats the hell out of a prison coverall, which they have modified. I and my crew have loaned them uniforms to wear until they have a chance to get their own. We just hope that we can do so peacefully and not have to transport directly into the shops to do so." End Log." By the time they dropped out at Orion they all felt more confident in their own abilities. Still they were surprised by the reception waiting for them as they dropped out together. There were two Battle Frigates, nine Cruisers and three Destroyers all ringed around the drop out zone. "Welcome to Orion Captain Wells," announced Vice Admiral Horn. "Turn over those other three ships and we'll let everyone leave aboard the Exile. Alive." "I'm sorry Sir that is not an option. We are on a Priority One mission from Admiral Rains at Fleet Headquarters, your direct superior." She waited for a response. "I don't care what that black hearted," he began to rant. "Horn! Your little fleet will stand down," suddenly Admiral Rain's face filled the view screens in every ship. "Captain Wells, you have surprised me once again. I see you have acquired three more of those wonderful ships." "Yes Ma'am. But they like the Exile belong only to their Captains and crews." "Very well then let me be frank with you," she looked serious. "What you see around you is all that is left of the Sixth Battle Fleet. You bring me some answers as to what it is beyond that space anomaly near Circes, and we will allow you and your ships to return to civilized space. You'll still be planetary exiles but you won't be executed." "The Black Hole," gasped Shelly. "You sent the fleet into the Black Hole?" "I needed to find out what became of my research ships," she answered. "How many ships from the Fleet made it back?" the question was answered by silence. "Alright give my crews forty eight hours on the Ellipse while we resupply. Then we'll go get your answers." "Out of the question, I will not have your kind corrupting others." Stated the Commander of the Ellipse Space Station. "Admiral, If any of them attempt to dock I will order My fleet to open fire." "Then I guess we'll see how many of those pretty Battle ships you are willing to expend to get those answers." Larissa bluffed. "Ok, One at a time, twelve hours per ship," conceded the Space Station Commander. "And no one is to interfere with the crews or board their ships, is that clear?" ordered Admiral Rains. "But Ma'am," began Horn. "Horn, you will not interfere with Captain Wells or any of her crews. I have a feeling that you might lose in the end." "Ma'am?" "Ask Jackson to tell you what he lost at Omega. Then ask yourself why those four little ships aren't the least bit afraid of you. Better yet, I suggest you keep your own crews off the Ellipse until they leave." The Ellipse was a Deep Space Pleasure Station known for its many entertainment establishments. There were also a large number of shops dealing in clothing and other things that women found desirable. As they began maneuvering for the space station the Admiral placed a personal message request to the Exile. "Captain Wells, I'm sorry it had to be this way. If you'd only been born as a woman none of this would be happening now." Her true feelings, which she was still coming to terms with were apparent in her voice as well as video. On a purely personal level she admired her. "And what about your daughter, Rita?" Larissa asked. "Can, can I speak with her?" "Pearl, patch the Admiral through to Medical, Mark it Personal and Private." "Aye Mom," "Mom? Your crew calls you Mom?" "Why not? I'm more of a mother to them than someone who would turn their back on them just because they wanted to be someone other than who they were born as." She hadn't really meant it to come out that way, but seeing the stricken look in the Admirals eyes she was glad that it did. "I'm sorry it's the Law. And I can't just ignore the Law." Still Larissa saw something there in that moment, some compassion. "What do you want mother? I'm in the middle of studying Forensic Medicine." Stated Rita with a touch of agitation. "Rita, I'm sorry for everything. I really am." Stated the Admiral. "You turned your back on me. You turned me over to the Gender Police. You didn't even come to my trial." Rita took a huge breath, "Why do you care now? I have a real Mom now, one who asks my opinions and checks to see that I'm doing ok, if I need anything." "I'm sorry, it was a mistake trying to talk to you," but she didn't end the call. "It was all just too much of a shock, seeing you, so soon after the trial and all. I, I felt I could no longer ignore it as I have in the past. I think I made a huge mistake, but I can't change the past. I can only try to alter the future." "We'll talk again after we get back from this mission," Rita reached out and physically pushed the button to end the call. As soon as the screen went blank Larissa was there to hold her in her arms comforting her. "I think maybe she's still afraid to admit she made one of the biggest mistakes of her life," she told the young girl who cried against her shoulder. "Ma'am, we have an incoming call for Tabitha," announced Pearl. "And another for Darla." "Ladies, you may take them in your quarters if you wish," she told them. "Tob, Tabitha?" began her father. "Yes Daddy?" she was eager to hear from the one remaining parent who had tried to support her. "I'm glad you're not here. I'm glad you got to go with your cousin and Captain Wells. Now I don't have to worry so much you'll get caught." "Thank you Daddy, but I think I gave myself away when I joined the crew. I just couldn't help it, not after I saw Rita when they brought her here from the Execution ship." She changed the subject then, "Captain Wells reminds me a lot of Mom. We even call her Mom when we aren't dealing with Fleet." "She sounds like a wonderful person, I hope I get to meet her in person one day and thank her for letting you be the girl you were meant to be." He was silent a moment then added, "You tell her if you all ever need anything you can always call on the Falcon. That goes for the other three ships as well, my crew is more open minded than the Fleet is." Similar conversations were going on aboard the other Exiled ships in differing degrees. The Falcon was an Ore Freighter. But it had its own entertainment facilities, and a lot of the private Asteroid Miners used it for down time while they unloaded and took on supplies. And after being notified in the Universe wide message from COMFLEET at Earth station of the details surrounding the DSRS Exile and her freedom restrictions, everyone knew that the Military Fleet Space Stations and any Civilian Space Stations, were the only places the Exile was permitted to dock and take on supplies. They would not be allowed on any planetary surface to include Lunar Colonies. They were truly Exiles in Space. "The new message now included the Misfit, the Prankster and the Orphan. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Misfit was just about to leave the station when another ship, battered and leaking atmosphere docked. The Jumplight, had been out in space a long time. The four girls who were her crew had been doing a lot of mining near the Black Hole. Mostly because no one else wanted to risk it. But there was another reason. They were all the same general age, fifteen. But they also shared other feelings in common with the crews of the four exiled ships. "Donovan, it's a miracle you got that crate in here but you can't stay. And we can't give you any more credit for repairs. That thing was beyond serviceability when the four of you took her over." The man looked around then said, "The damned Gender Police are everywhere. All because of those four ships out there. They got Trans Crews, sanctioned by Fleet." He showed him a hard copy of the Exile order transmitted by Fleet Command at Earth Station. Tutie used her com badge to call Shelly. "Mom, that tramp Miner that just docked is in trouble. The crew is a bunch of Trans-boys." "Are you sure?" "Yes I overheard the docking Clerk talking with them, warning them about the Gender Police. But their ship is toast, they got nowhere to go." "Larissa, how opposed are you to adding four teen boys to our crews?" Shelly asked her in a rapid conference call. "You're talking about that Tramp Miner aren't you?" asked Cloe "Yes, how'd you know?" "Donovan, their Captain used to be my little sister before my stepmother decided to take off on her own." "You can vouch for them?" asked Larissa. "Yes I can, I just need to get a message to her, him." "Tutie, please tell Donovan that his Sister Cloe wants a word with him and his crew aboard the Misfit." Shelly told her Com tech. Seeing Tutie coming their way the Docking clerk asked her if everything had been loaded satisfactorily. "Yes Sir, thank you. I was wondering if I might have a word with Captain Donovan though." "Donovan, this is Com Tech Tutie, from the Misfit." He introduced them with a wink, his finger tapping the message from fleet, to assure them both he wouldn't say a word. "My Captain would like to speak to you about something in private." He followed her aboard the Misfit. "Mom, Captain Donovan is here." she announced openly. After a quick discussion he went back to his ship to meet with the others. Jamie, Carl and Tommy were wide eyed when he told them about the other four ships. And the offer he'd been given. "All we have to do is call them, and they'll accept us." he told them. "But they want us all together when we call." "What are you waiting for? It's about time we got shed of this leaking bucket of bolts." "Jumplight to the Exile," he said placing the call. The first thing Donovan saw was Cloe on the view screen next to Captain Wells. Then Rita was saying, "Holy shit Mom, you better transport them to the med lab. And get the other Med Techs here to help." Before they could ask what was happening though they found themselves standing in the med lab aboard the Exile. The lighting suddenly flashed red and a Radiation warning began to blare. Soon the other Medical officers were there helping Rita as they began flushing the Alien Radiation from the boys systems. "How did they get these levels?" asked Oni. "I haven't seen any Radiation in this spectrum before. It's a miracle they're still alive." "Hey!" interrupted Tommy. "We're right here, we can hear you." "Oh, sorry about that," she apologized. "So how bad is it? Are we dying?" asked Donovan. Turning to Larissa, Rita asked, "Mom?" She'd been studying the Radiological spectrum and saw that it was all in the strange readings that showed up only in tiny amounts as traces in the other known Radiations. Only this was way over the concentration of anything she'd seen. But there were none of the other types they knew were deadly. It's almost like, she never got to finish that thought though. "Captain," interrupted Res. "Yes, you have an opinion?" "Those are the same readings that first alerted me to the presence of the, 'Artifact'," he said referring to the technology that led him to the creation of the transporters. "It is in the safe radiation spectrum." "But, Res you realize that in that concentration it can only mean one thing," she said. "Cold Fusion," answered Bonnie. "Donovan, we need you to tell us where you've been scavenging," said Cloe. "You have no idea how huge this is." "Ma'am, the scan of the Jumplight shows her fuel Cells have been empty for five days," reported Tabitha. "Oh we've been using the electric thrusters. We found a generator that boosts the power of the maneuvering thrusters," answered Carl their Engineer. "Res, estimated time to repair the Jumplight, please." asked Larissa. "Five Months, and fourteen days, at a Shipyard facility." Came the answer. "Jump these guys back aboard and they can kick her loose from the station. Then we'll tow her along behind us," answered Cloe. "Yes then when we hit the Red Zone we can take our time to figure out how to make more use of those generators," finished Larissa. "The Red Zone? You mean the safety zone around the Anomaly?" "Yes, that's our original Destination," Larissa told them. They were looking around at each other as if trying to decide something. "Cloe, the Jumplight wasn't near that bad when we started. We were taking advantage of the clear zone to scavenge freely, but the last time we entered it we got too close. Our engines couldn't break us free of the gravitational pull." Donovan told his stepsister. "Larissa, a Gender Police Frigate just dropped out," announced Res. "And we are now out of time," said Larissa. "Get these gentlemen back to their ship so they can be pulled into our formation." A buzzing emitting from the communicator badge on Donovan's lapel alerted them to trouble before they had the chance to jump back aboard. "They aren't here. I want a full squad standing by for when they return. And search the computers and everything else. There's bound to be information to lead us to more abominations like themselves," they heard over the open link. "Donovan, I can remote her from here," said Carl. "Not while the station has the Mag Lock. You'd leave a section open to space and who knows how many might get hurt or killed." Said Donovan. "But we did it before, when we had to leave that alien ship," "Alien Ship?" "Uhh, yeah. We were scavenging, looking for ways to repair the Jumplight. And there were all these big research and Fleet battle ships just floating dead in space. So we were using one of their shuttles when another ship dropped out and we had to hide." "It's ok you did the right thing," they assured the teens. "Could you tell what had happened?" asked Shelly. "Two of the ships, one of ours and the Alien, looked like they dropped out into each other. The rest looked like ours did, like the gravity in the Hole tore them apart," they explained. "The alien ship had lots of Gravity generators like your ships," stated Carl. "Sorry I was curious so I scanned your systems when we were docked so close." "Ok I want all the Engineers working together on this. Each one take a section of the Jumplight, work with the crew to strip it of everything of value. We can take that squad aboard to hold until we're finished. Then we'll send them back." "We can do it without having to transport the guards." Said Tabitha. "Besides I doubt Res could feel clean again afterward if we had Gender Police on board." Teaming up with the four chief Engineering officers the boys set about directing them what to transport off the old ship, starting with the Cold Fusion Generator and the Gravity Generators. Then the personal items. As soon as things began disappearing in front of their eyes the Squad of Gender Police rushed from the ship calling for assistance. They were still securing everything among the four ships when the Admiral Called again. "Captain Wells, Larissa, I am dispatching the Sword and Shield to escort you safely into the Red Zone. Whatever you have done to antagonize the Holy Cross has caused her Self-appointed Admiral to call for assistance from the rest of their fleet." "Thank you Ma'am, but we're getting ready to head there now." She answered. "Larissa, after intercepting their communications I have no reason not to believe that you are responsible for the loss of those new Cannons from the Omega Fleet. Just please, don't use them against us, please." "That was never our intentions Ma'am. We needed a way to defend ourselves just in case something happens out there." "I'll give you a year before we send anyone else, if we don't hear from you," the personal message was sent by written text privately to Larissa. "Mom, we have two Destroyers closing in fast. And the Holy Cross is demanding that we turn over the crew of the Jumplight." "Commander Porter," said Admiral Rain. "If the Cross or any other Gender Police vessel attempts to interfere with the Exile's Fleet you are to consider it an act of war, is that clear?" "Aye Ma'am, with pleasure. I have a daughter on the Prankster." He answered with a grin. Another face lit up the screen. "I love you Daddy," said Captain Bonnie Porter. "I'm proud of you Baby Girl. And I know your Mother would be too. You keep your girls safe now, ok?" "Yes Daddy." there were tears in their eyes as the screens went blank and they began vectoring for the Black Hole. "Pearl, send copies of the last seven hours to Fleet. And send a copy to the Sword. They need to know not to get too close. And include the Jumplight's Logs." Then Larissa turned to her Engineers. "As soon as we start to feel the Pull I want the Gravity Generators running on all ships. We're going to go straight through." They were going to follow the Jumplight's course through the hole in hopes they wouldn't drop out on top of another ship. Plus she wasn't too sure how much support they would have if the planetary government relieved the Admiral of her command. As the gravitational forces began to increase she suggested everyone adjust their course stabilizers to Automatic proximity stabilization. Then as the stars around them disappeared everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. Even their voices sounded slurred. Tommy who had stayed aboard the Exile said that was how it had started with them, then everything seemed to be speeded up to a blur, and they'd barely kept the ship together. But the return trip with the extra gravity generators running had just stayed in slow motion, and they hadn't had any more damage. "Can we get together for a little meeting?" asked Shelly. "Carl says it took them three days to drop out the other end." "I don't think we should try transporting anyone in this section of space," said Tabitha. "Let's try sending something not important first." The first experiment was a total disaster. The hand held scanalyzer they sent to the Prankster arrived at the other end in a million pieces. Next they decided to try it with something from the galley. The Apple went to the Orphan instead of the Misfit. But it arrived as mush on the transporter pad. "Ok so no transporting inside the black holes effect," ordered Larissa. A day into the jump the Proximity alarms went off, and everyone scrambled to their duty stations. "Whatever it is it's coming from behind us Mom," called Darla. As the four ships combined shields spooled up to maximum power, the approaching ship finally began to take shape. What was left of her anyway? The Judgment was one of the Gender Police's Heavy Cruisers. And it was being ripped apart by the Gravitational forces within the Black Hole. As it glanced off their shields they could see the life boats firing, as people tried to escape the destruction. "Oh Shit Momma," cried out Gayle on the Prankster. "I've got it," yelled Sunshine on the Orphan, as their gravity beam shot out to grab hold of the Brig section being ripped from the rest of the huge ship. Patricia, Julie and Tabitha quickly joined forces with her as they pulled that section into the middle between the four ships. "I'm scanning five life forms. Three very young, two adults," said Tutie. "They'll be safe enough till we're out of this fucking shit," said Rita. "Those sections have their own life support." "Rita, thank you. But please refrain from using bad language. Remember you are my daughter not a Space tramp." Larissa's smile was warm and reassuring. "Sorry Mom, old habits." "You are my girls now, not fleet brats. This is a Gravitational Flux, not 'This Fucking Shit', Ok?" "Yes Mom," everyone answered her, even Tommy. She looked up at him and smiled, "Thank you Son. I hope all of you know that I count you as my children. The others, on our other ships are nieces and nephews to me." They managed to open communications with the Brig section and ensure that everyone was safe. The two guards seemed like they expected to be spaced the second the children were safe. "We have Medical scans of everyone," assured Larissa. "As long as they are treated correctly and no harm comes to them, then we'll discuss your release after we drop out of the Flux." Tabitha and the other Engineers were getting pretty good with the transporters before they'd entered the Flux. So they felt confident they could separate the prisoners from the guards safely. "Captains Log, DSRS Exile, Star date, 2375.001. 0923. We have managed to rescue the occupants of the Brig section of the GP Judgment as it was being ripped apart by the Gravitational Flux." "Further, since our crews look to myself and the other three Captains as Mother Surrogates I am going to instil the following as a standard for disciplinary measures. Breaches of the standards for shipboard Conduct will be dealt with by Corporal Punishment in the form of Bare Bottom Spankings. We are not a Military Fleet, nor are we Gender Police, we will not 'Flog' Our Crews." "I have been informed by the Captain and crew of the Orphan that until another DSRS can be completed Captain Donovan late of the Jumplight, will be serving as Jr-Captain aboard the Orphan." "End Log." +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ When her systems detected the imminent drop out of more ships, Vice- Captain Cree alerted her shuttle pilots. The humans they had rescued from the crippled ships were learning to be helpful, if nothing else. "Captain Cree, we have debris of one much larger ship, and what appears to be four smaller ships flying in formation with a section of the larger ship in tow," reported her Science officer. Could it be some of our ships have come searching for us from a different sector?" "Pilots to your shuttles," Cree commanded with her yowling voice. "Captain Cree," the human Stanton interrupted her as she was heading for her own shuttle. "Perhaps if you took me along I could prevent any more misunderstandings." He saw her tail twitching as she considered his proposal. Then she turned and said, "Come." They'd just left the surface when he saw the scans of the larger ships debris and the estimated Make-up of the whole ship. She saw his face blanch as he recognized it for what it was. His heart sank as he tried to find a way to tell her that any survivors of that ship would be a danger to her and her crew. He was still having very mixed feelings about her and their other rescuers. Then he saw what the other four human ships were towing safely between them. "Stanton, those ships are towing a Prison Brig. Why would they be doing that?" Cree asked him point blank. "I don't know why they are towing the Brig from the other ship. But that bigger one is one of those I told you about." She growled an order into her com, then said, "Concentrate any rescue efforts on the trailing group, if they need it." She turned and caressed his face with affection moments before she detected the use of transporters by the other four ships. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ As soon as they dropped out, the four ships began registering the dead ships floating around the edges just outside the effects of the Black Hole. They transported all three of the former prisoners aboard the Exile for a full Med Scan. As the Misfit was preparing to transport the two Gender Police however they both disappeared. "What the hell" exclaimed Shelly? "Who has them?" The four ships screens lit up with the same image. The Alien was very pretty, her feline face and features covered in soft yellowish fur that was dappled in black spots. Her face showed weep lines along both sides of her nose that looked much like a Cheetah on Earth. "That would be, Me," she announced. "I am Captain Cree of the Herminian Research Test Ship, Pounce, which is now among those floating around you. Please state your intentions." "Captain Cree, I am Captain Larissa Wells of the Earth ship DSRS Exile. We were sent here to discover what was happening that none of the other Earth ships had returned. Our mission is Peaceful, I assure you." "We detected the use of a Teleportation Platform, you are the first of your ships to use one, where did you get the technology?" "My original Ship, Research 921, discovered parts of one as we were returning to earth from a mission near the Tau Asteroid fields." She answered, then saw the human Captain standing behind her. "Captain Stanton informs me that the other Ship that was destroyed was a Gender Police ship. Why was it coming through with you? Didn't you warn them about the Gravitational Flux?" "Back home, our kind are not openly accepted. I suspect the Judgment was trying to overtake us to arrest us for the crime of being Transgendered." "Transgendered, meaning that you wish to become the opposite sex from that which you were born?" asked Cree with what I believe to be an amused smile "Yes, in our universe it is a capital crime, and that is why my ship is named the Exile." Larissa stated bluntly. "The Military Fleet Commander has designated the other three ships with me as the Exile Fleet." Cree said something in a different language then returned to Larissa. "My fleet of shuttles is going to scour the debris for any survivors. May I have permission to teleport aboard to discuss how we may be of assistance to one another?" "By all means yes, I will have my other captains join us." "Very well, please inform me when the teleports are complete so we don't have any accidents." "Captains Log, DSRS Exile, star date 2375. 003. 1854. We have been contacted by another race. The Herminian Captain, Cree, is going to Teleport aboard for a joint meeting. Captain Stanton of the original Research mission is with her, and she has her crews searching the wreckage of the Judgment for possible survivors. I have tagged video of the Captain to this log so all can see her very beautiful features. I will make a fuller report after the meeting." "End Log" To say everyone was excited about our first meeting with an alien life form, would be an understatement. The fact alone that the commander of the ship is a female is a big plus. While the rest were preparing to transport I requested to know if they needed anything special in accommodations. "No, we breathe the same atmosphere as you, and aside from a few small differences we require the same basic necessities." Tabitha had scanned her as well as those aboard her shuttle. "Mom," she said quietly. "They're all Hermaphrodites." "Captain Cree, Welcome aboard," I held out my hand in friendship to her and she looked at it puzzled at first. Then stepping in she took hold of it with a smile and pulled me into a hug which I returned. "Thank you Captain Wells," she stepped back and in deed her facial expression was a smile. "My fellow captains, Ma'am," Larissa introduced them. "Shelly, Bonnie, Cloe, and her Jr Captain Donovan." Cree hugged each in turn. Then still holding Donovan's hand she said, "You are the one who showed much skill in hiding from us, yes?" but still her smile was warm and welcoming. "Uhh, yes. Sorry about that, but how did you know?" "The security video from the Pounce is still operating," she explained. Then she caressed his cheek gently with the backs of her clawed fingers. "Your crew is quite the experienced Scavengers. You could do well here with so much to work with. I was surprised that you did not take the Kitten though." "The Kitten?" "Yes, the Shuttle we left behind because we didn't have enough pilots left after the collision." "Oh, we weren't sure that we could learn to operate its systems," Donovan said honestly. "It does look a lot like one the Research Probe ships we use." "If it looks like the one you were in, it could be used as the base for a new DSRS," added Cloe before she thought about what she said. "The base for another like this one?" Cree was now curious. I decided to be fully honest with her. "Captain," I began. "Please, we are all ships Captains here. Call me Cree," she insisted. "Cree, Res my original Research probe ship and I, designed this ship together. It was designed around his original hull to incorporate him into it completely. The other three ships were built in the same design using decommissioned Research ships." "I see. And you still have this design in the memory banks?" her smile was warm and disarming. "I mean you could use it to build more ships like these four, capable of traversing the Black Hole? Then we might all be able to go home." "Cree, yes we could do this together. My people and yours," Larissa answered. "Captain Wells, what are you doing? You are going to just share our technology with them?" Stanton now reminded them of his presence. "Didn't you ever wonder why they are out here to begin with? They were 'Exiled' from their own culture, they're not any, one true sex they're freaks of nature." Larissa's hand caught Cree's before she could strike him. "Please allow me to explain things to him first," she said and released the fur covered hand with its extended claws. "Captain Stanton, the technology that I am going to share with Cree and her people belongs to me and my crews. Not to the government or the Gender Police." She let her rage ebb a bit. "As for their being Freaks of nature, well haven't you been listening to us. This is the Exile fleet. Every member of my crews is as I am, 'Transgendered'. That is why the Judgment was following us, and these are our new sisters and brothers, not you or the worlds we came from." Cree purred happily. "You might start by groveling, maybe we'll feel inclined to return you to the universe you so dearly love." She added. "Or we could leave them here to maintain our new home planet," put in Cree. "They seem to be thriving well enough." "No, please no," pleaded Stanton. "That depends on how cooperative you can be in helping us to build Cree's new ships." Larissa said. "But for now I think maybe we'll go planet side and get a bit of fresh air while Cree decides which of her shuttles she wishes to convert first." "Please allow me to take you in my shuttle," offered Cree. "No need, we are perfectly capable of landing on the surface." "Such a large ship, you can really land and take off again?" "Yes just show us where, and then we can begin sharing technology." "Tawny," Cree called to one of her people. "Take Captain Donovan to the Kitten and begin teaching him the systems as you bring it to the surface." "Ma'am," she snapped to as she held out her hand to Donovan. "Come, Tawny will teach you." Larissa saw a hint of a pleased smile. On the way down Larissa issued a fleet wide order. "If they are not one of our own ship's crew or those designated by Captain Cree, they are not to be allowed access to the ships and the systems." "Very wise Larissa, we have had to do the same with our shuttles. Stanton has already tried several times to steal one." Cree said. "Anti-gravity generators in the green, maneuvering thrusters standing by. Entering the Atmospheric blackout zone," announced Darla. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On the surface those who had not been privy to the plan now looked up in wonder as the four DSRS ships broke through the thin cloud layer. Several began to run in panic, mostly humans. Several of the Alien shuttles raced ahead to clear the landing field for the four much larger ships. "Captain, what do we use for landing gears?" asked Darla. "Darla, we have three core drill pods. They will also double as our landing gears that is the secondary purpose they were designed for after all," stated Res. When the descent slowed to a gentle touchdown and the main engines cut off the furry's crowded around in awe. As Cree and Larissa stepped out of the ship together they cheered. Many rushed forward to greet them happily. Stanton rushed over to his own people. And then the unthinkable happened. "Captain Wells, I, Vice Admiral Bishop place you and your people under arrest." They walked on past him a look of amusement on their faces. "Don't you dare try to walk away from Me." he reached out toward her, a weapon in his hand. Before he could take aim though he was dragged down by several children, and the gun went off. Larissa whirled in shock as he pushed the rest of them off himself, then shoved the dead child to the side. But instead of his own people rallying to his aide he found himself between a Herminian and one of Stanton's crew who held him fast. "I, it was an accident. Besides the child is a Heathen." Without understanding why Larissa's hand shot out to grab him by the throat. But before she spoke to him she asked Cree, "What is the punishment for murdering a child among your kind?" "Death by the claws of the child's parents," she said. Now everyone looked to Larissa to see if she was going to intervene. There were real tears flowing down her cheeks. "Where is this child's Mother?" "She was an Orphan," Cree said. "Then I guess that makes all of us her Parents, but I will leave it to whomever took care of her the most to decide." The Kitten had just landed and Tawny came running across the field, Tommy hot on her heels until she saw the child lying motionless. Her yowls of grief were all the rest needed to know who had cared most for the child. Kneeling beside her Larissa said, "He is yours to deal out the punishment. But please let us help you to grieve. Then we will see to it that you are not interrupted until it is done." He began looking around for help but even the other Gender Police officer backed away from him. "What is it that your people do in such a case?" asked Cree. "He is a Vice-Admiral of the Gender Police, he would never see the inside of a court house. They would just say oh it was a little mistake. But I am happy that we are not in our own universe because now true justice can be served." "Take him to the central post," said Cree. As Tommy stood cradling the girl in his arms, his own tears flowing down his face. Reaching out Larissa laid her hand on his shoulder. "I never even got to meet her," he said unashamed of the tears. The joint community buried the girl, Misa. Then Tommy came to Larissa. He had weep lines painted down his face and she knew it was for the girl. "I am going to help Tawny, she needs a second to stand in as the father, and I volunteered." "Do what your heart tells you to do Son," she told him. "And feel no regrets afterward." They had been helping the three little girls to adjust, and she was happy to see that they had already formed strong friendships with the other children. It had taken three days for Tawny and Tommy to complete Tawny's justice. But when the two rejoined the community they did so hand in hand. "I am happy for the two of you to have found one another though it was through sadness and loss," said Cree. Larissa wrapped her arms around the couple. "Welcome to the family Tawny. You are as a daughter to me now." "Captains Log, DSRS Exile, Star date 2375.008." "Captain Cree and her people have asked us to join them in calling this little planet home. In a joint vote which was unanimous, we have named the planet, 'Exile Sanctuary'." "Navigator Tommy has joined in union with Sub-Captain Tawny, and the pair wish to build their own ship together. Further many of the human crews that have been stranded here wish to remain. We have agreed to return those who wish, to our former home Universe." "Cree and I have decided to join forces in collecting others like ourselves and bringing them here where they can have a real life away from persecution. But we will wait until they have more ships like ours capable of traversing the black holes." "We are stripping the remains of the military ships of their Armament to give our own ships the ability to defend themselves." "Cree has assured me that even though her kind has exiled them they are not hostile toward them returning to resupply or to collect more who are exiles. The Orphan will be going along with them to show that we are united in the same cause. However the astrological coordinates of our new home planet will not be shared with anyone who does not have a ship that calls it home. We are keeping our secrets to ourselves for now." "The new Pounce, and Captain Donovan's new ship the Reject will be going with us to our own universe, to meet with the Admiral if she is still in Command. We estimate it will take approximately five months to complete the new ships with so many helping in the process." "End Log" They had been there three months when someone finally asked the question everyone was dreading. "How long before they try sending another ship through?" "We have about another nine months, provided the Admiral is still in command," Larissa answered. "I just wish we had a way of getting a message to her without having to send a ship through." Penny and Sunshine shared a look with each other. "We can rig one of the drones with a miniature Gravity Generator. Then set the coordinates and let it fly." "Yeah and if you add a Cold fusion generator it will have its own power and not run out of fuel," added Carl. "Better yet tie the thrusters into the Gravity Generator, that way we limit how much of our technology we give up," said Tawny. "The Gravity Generators create their own energy," she explained. "Captains Log DSRS Exile, Supplemental, Star Date, 2375.097." "Video Log" "Admiral Rains, ComFleet, Earth." "I and the other Exiles of my fleet are safe. The other ships sent ahead of us were destroyed by the Gravitational Flux inside the Black Hole. But we have located Survivors with the aid of Captain Cree of the Herminian Research Ship Pounce, which was also destroyed when it collided with the debris of Captain Stanton's ship. We are assisting the survivors in building ships that can withstand the GF (Gravitational Flux). Please understand that Captain Cree will be accompanying us on our return in a few months to meet with you personally. Please ensure there are no Gender Police on hand as those who survived the judgments demise have been most uncooperative. Our first day here they Murdered a child without cause. "Please note the pictures I have sent are for your eyes only." "Cpt Wells, Larissa" "Exile Fleet Cmdr." "End Log"

DSRS Exile Fleet preface

DSRS Exile Fleet, Preface Chapter 0 In the twenty third century, mankind has moved out into the nearby stars. Expanding their presence wherever possible. But in the time between the twenty first and twenty third century, natural born women are in a decline. There are more males born than females. So women have gained a sense of power, they are given incentives and privileges far beyond what men are given. As a result those who are Transgendered have been targeted as...

Chapter VI Exile and Ecstasy or Butterfly on a String

From the sketchbook of G. McCrossen.Captured! Thankfully, only James’ pride wounded. In hindsight, it was fortunate that his pistol misfired. The fight had been short. Although James did his best to defend us, his revolver failed to fire, much to his obvious chagrin. After a short, but spirited skirmish the lizard-men, as Emma has dubbed them, quickly overpowered him with their spears, disarming him of both pistol and saber before the others could reach him. Soon, we were all within their...

Traitor Book 1Chapter 21 The Fleet

The senior planning group met in the big conference room, ‘command central’, with their assistants. The room was large but now nearly full. Jason knew that Robert would be relishing the new situation. He would really enjoy having a full canteen. “I’d like to confirm that the first planet is to be formally known as Mars. Mars was a God of war in my mythology,” said Jason. “This planet will be called Porquenta.” Matilda MacArthur, the senior intelligence general officer introduced Karen...

A Life in the ServiceChapter 18 Fleet action

It was a year after the attack on the Dentian queen that I finally left. Captain McCartney was headed out to take over a Marauder company and top sergeant Ambrosia was going with her. I was headed for the fleet academy after accepting a transfer into fleet for a six month ship handling course and then out to take over the carrier Honor. I brushed the cuff rings on my dress uniform and nodded to my aid. Lieutenant Jenks grinned before heading for the hatch. He stopped to let me go out first...

Fleet Veterans

I joined the fleet marines as soon as I turned seventeen. Four years later I was a gunnery sergeant and the war ended. Everyone that had brains knew the fleet would get a lot smaller. The war had been going on for seven years. Hundreds of thousands had died and many times that had been wounded. The empire had gone from eight standing fleets to sixteen, now it was going to shrink. I began to plan and make contacts in support and supply depots. I also began looking for others that would be...

Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 2 Green Eden

Green Eden appeared to be a beautiful green, white and blue sphere. From space it looked as inviting as any garden world. The transport descended through moderate clouds and approached a heavy forested land mass. We landed on a simple dirt field that had been cleared in the jungle. At the edge of the dirt field I saw a collection of primitive looking buildings made of wood. There were no machines, no robots, no ships or vehicles and no one waiting for us. Someone from the flight deck...

Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 32 Interlude After the Execution

He remembered the last moments of his life quite vividly. They had led him up to the scaffold, after they had removed all his rank insignia. Commander Stone before him actually collapsed and the marines had to drag him to his spot on the scaffold. It took all his will power not to do the same and set one foot before the other. The solemn beat of the drums stopped and the Executioner asked him if he had any last words. He had none, the night before he had written a letter to his son Swybin and...

The Narth spoke. “This is the USS Narth. “There was a pause and the Narth moved his shrouded head as if he was looking at someone then he nodded and said.” One hopes to be forgiven, by the one who has command. There were few new buildings on Earth and obtaining a new construction permit was very difficult. Usually only something that could not be renovated or preserved was rePlaced. Ever since the Second Exodus, Earth population was kept steady at about two billion beings and great effort was taken to preserve cities and historical buildings. Annapolis Tower in San Francisco was one of the few super modern Arcologies on Earth. At over 2500 meter height it was also the largest building of the...

Jasons TaleChapter 19 The Great Fleet

Meanwhile, we were trying to gather ships. I had two front-line warships at Jayport, Shark and Wrong Place, four when Thunder and Eagle got back, plus another five smaller brigs without launchers that we used as escorts. Well, our task for this was to escort and protect the troopships, so they were included. Widemouth and the eastern towns could add something like eight or nine more warships. Each could carry a hundred fighting men plus their crews, but if possible I would want them to stay...

Everyone was more than happy to see me. They had been listening to the Cariss signals and cheering each time I led them into trouble. The women pulled Dawn aside and I went to rest. For the next three days I stayed with the colony and the fleet sent a signal burst that broke through. It was encrypted and Mr Harris began decrypting it by hand. He finally looked around at everyone waiting, “The fleet will be here within a day.” Everyone was cheering but I was thinking of the welcome they...

“Want us to come with you and explain where we were?” I asked, trying to be helpful. She thought about it and nodded. “Would you?” she asked, relieved. Emma nodded and shut off the car. We all got out and approached the house. We were met at the door by a frantic father who’d obviously heard the car doors. “TRICIA! Thank God! I was worried half to death. Wednesday wasn’t as miserable as I suspected it would be and I stretched out when I got up before the three of us got a quick shower and headed off to the gym after another brief massage from Emma. Hanna was surprised to see the girls since they were only in every second day. It was me that she really didn’t expect to see. I gave her a big grin. “Ready to stretch me out?” I asked. The commander stood at the window of his spacious office overlooking the lake and jungle with his hands clasped behind his back watching a group of cadets struggling with a heavy wooden log. This exercise had been used by Navy trainers even before the Galactic Ascent on good old Earth. Of course it...

The TRUE Cinderella Story Ch 2 Snows Exile

Cinderella was getting older. She retained her looks and her sexiness, but she was still getting older. She would be turning 31 soon, much older than she would have liked. On one bright morning, she awoke and walked, naked, over to her full length mirror. She checked out her body, admiring her gravity-defying breasts, her curvy body, flat stomach, and shaved cunt. Onboard the Ex-Crytherian mining freighter Hathor, William Odessa led his party of former escapees down the narrow hallway he had found. The air smelled of stale sweat and death, water dripped from one of the overhead pipes in at least a dozen places. Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 17 An Enemy Returns Interlude

The communications officer of the Devastator reported to Stahl. “Sir we have no contact to Fornax Hub. The last message we received was a distress call and now it is silent on all channels.” The old Admiral wished the huge ship could go any faster and glanced over to captain Harris, knowing full well that the ship was already pushing its engines close to the red line. He did not want to push them any further. The mighty Devastator would be of no help if she arrived at a crisis with damaged...

Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 20 The Steel Gauntlet Interlude

The five potato shaped space ships immediately attacked. Their weapons were consistent with Y’All technology and so were their shields. Stahl looked over the scanner results and was convinced it was exactly the same as 1500 years ago. The Chief Science officer confirmed it.”Sir, these are defiantly Y’All ships. Even the power output and everything is exactly the same as it was 1500 years ago. It looks like they made no improvement at all.” If this was the case, the Admiral thought, then this...

Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 23 Kermac Prime Interlude

The Kermac High Circle of Wizards listened to the report of their spy. He had shown them a recording of the Assembly proceedings as well. Vorneun the Intelligence wizard looked perplexed.” Can someone tell me what is going on here? I never even heard of the Fornax Cluster, what were they talking about Kermac in Y’All ships?” He addressed Nachacht the Military Wizard as he expected him to have done something in secret, but Nachacht looked as surprised but the Grand Wizard clenched his little...

Eric Olafson Fleet Cadet Vol 3Chapter 34 Interlude Boneyard

The Rama Bot lowered them to the ground at the edge of the space ship bone yard. Wind howled between the rows of ships and tugged at their suits. The man calling himself Sergei now, could not shake the feeling that they were watched. Some of the ships were clearly alien, perhaps of civilizations that joined and adopted the Common design scheme. Perhaps of vanquished foes with technology deemed inferior. Some of the designs they recognized, some of the ships looked ready to fly others had...

Myria The Exile

The Goddess Myria was always a sight to behold. Being one of beauty and pride, she caused a longing for any who came across her, both men and women. With long, silken blonde hair, an impressive hourglass figure, snowy white skin, and clothing that often teasingly revealed her assets to further provoke onlookers into staring at her beauty. However, beauty aside, her personality was haughty, arrogant, and flighty. She often seduced men into believing she was interested in them, and at the moment...

Exile

' WARNING: Your vessel has entered a restricted area. You must... ' The automated message was only one of a dozen warning signals that were bombarding the control room of the survey craft Dawkins. Cali Moore shut that particular warning signal out of her head. She couldn't think about it right now. She had to focus on finding an emergency landing site. The vessel wouldn't last long in open space. "Where the hell are we?" Cali demanded of her co-pilot, Klayne. "It doesn't make any...

In the NavyChapter 46 Exile

“Sir Anthony, Ushant is bearing two points to larboard, ten miles ahead,” Captain His Serene Highness the Prince of Hohenstein announced to his commodore. “Thank you, Sir August. The sloops are in sight?” “Yes, of course, Sir Anthony.” “Kindly have a course set for Cape Finisterre, Sir August.” “Aye-aye, Sir Anthony,” Hohenstein answered stoically. Their destination was not quite New South Wales, but it certainly felt like a punitive mission. They were headed for the Mediterranean coast...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 1

Peter picked up the rag that had been thrown at him while remaining on his knees. He put one hand on Meagan's round ass as he started wiping his cum off of Meagan's legs. Debbie was working on her daughter's lower belly, trying especially hard to wipe off any of Peter's semen before it seeped under the hand guarding Meagan's pussy. "I can't believe how much cum there is to clean up!" Debbie said in amazement. Without thinking, she added. "I've never seen a cock cum like that...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 2

Debbie met Peter at the door, and quietly ushered him down into her studio. Only when they were both downstairs did Peter speak. "So has Meagan come out of her room yet? It's been a week now since the accident." The accident was how Debbie and Peter had taken to calling the series of events that started with Peter cumming all over Meagan with an orgasm that started without even a finger of pressure on his large cock and ended with Meagan masturbating herself to orgasm in front of Peter and...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 3

"Meagan!" Debbie called through her daughter's door. "Fuck off!" "Young lady, I'm not going to fuck off this time. I have a video on my computer that I think you should see. It's a video of Peter ejaculating after the first time he saw you. You know, when you walked in on him posing." "I did not walk in on him posing! If you had been a normal mother, you would have warned me that you were doing nude paintings, and I would have never gone near your shitty art studio. Besides, why...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 4

"Peter, I've got great news. I got Meagan to watch that video of you cumming in my studio after she walked in on your session!" "How is that great news? She's never going to speak to either of us again!" Peter wailed over the phone. "No, no. It is good news; trust me. The play count on that video is forty-three plays higher than when I left it for her." "What? What the hell was she doing watching that video that many times?" "Probably the same thing you were doing when I made...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 5

The video player was still on repeat, and when it started playing again, Peter groaned. "I can't take this pressure on my cock any more!" He unsnapped his fly and unzipped his pants. He sighed in relief as his hard cock expanded so that the head bulged obscenely down the length of his thigh. Meagan sighed too, and out of habit, pulled her shirt over her head. Peter followed suit, revealing his thick chest and washboard abs. Meagan slid her shorts down her shapely legs as Peter finished...

Meagans Self Imposed ExileChapter 6

Meagan fetched her cell phone from her room, put it on speaker mode, and called her mother. Before she or Peter could even say hello, Debbie started talking quickly. "Meagan, what's wrong? Is Peter still there? If so, tell him to leave. Did the two of you argue? Has he left? Tell him to come back and apologize again. For that matter, I'll apologize again. Is there anything you need while I'm out?" In disgust, Meagan yelled, "Fuck Mom! Stop babbling!" and hung up the phone. She sent...

My Journey Book 2 ExileChapter 2

I woke to the sound of the door opening. An orderly left me a breakfast tray. The food here was a little better than I was used to from hospital food and I suspected that was deliberate. A slightly better class of food would keep the patients in a slightly better mood. I was just finished when another orderly informed me that I had a visitor. I went out to the nurses station and was directed back to the room where Patty was waiting for me. She didn’t look like she’d slept well. “Hi,” I said...

My Journey Book 2 ExileChapter 3

The two of us walked to the car in silence and mercifully rode home the same way. When we got home, I hesitated to get out of the car. I expected everyone was waiting to say their piece. I finally set my jaw and got out. Mom led the way and I soldiered onward. I wasn’t surprised when the living room was full. I was surprised when Tabby and Collie were there. I took it all in and walked across the room and down the stairs to the basement. I didn’t talk to anyone, I didn’t stop when someone...

My Journey Book 2 ExileChapter 4

I woke that Sunday morning, feeling refreshed and alive. I checked my messages, but there wasn’t one from her. Instead, there were a lot of questions on Facebook about the status change and a notification that Emma wanted me to confirm our relationship. I smiled and clicked accept, adding a link to her profile next to my relationship status. I was about to go to the shower when I heard footsteps thundering down the stairs and my door was flung open. “You’re ENGAGED!??!” Lilly blurted out....
