The engagement was magical. Alethea was thrilled with the ring she
picked out. Henry presented it to her with flourish. Henry was
thrilled with his good luck as two days after the engagement; a major
account in Colorado he had been working on came through. Three days
later, he got a referral to a similar regulatory client in Arizona. The
business was really taking off and he was convinced that Thea was his

sister nodded in agreement. "Connie and Clark are getting things ready

adorable in the tux she donned. Even without a fitting, it looked
great. She watched as Leslie and Michelle helped her now-made-up bride-
to-be into the gown. Leslie put the finishing touches on with a new

leather pumps with fiveinch heels. In truth, flats probably would have
worked better since Irene fit into the dress easily enough, but the

half of their business was now in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.
Henry replied. "You're the CEO now. Just do it!" She did as the firm
continued to expand.
The following July, Henry and Thea took a week off to take Adrian and
Alex to Disneyworld. They had a great time but found they were more
exhausted after running around with the kids. Their fifth anniversary
was coming up in September and they decided to relax and take time for
themselves in London. Sofia was happy to volunteer to sit for the kids.
The couple left on a Saturday night, arriving on Sunday morning and went
to see a wonderful production of La Cage Aux Folles on the West End.
Henry decided to do the Cary Grant thing for their anniversary the next
day. He dressed in his best shirt with cufflinks, his best suit, and

the British Museum; they took a horse and carriage ride through Hyde
