At first Tabitha appeared to be stuck like a cork inside a bottle but,
bit by bit, he managed to extricate himself from the seat and then get a
foot out of the door and onto the ground. With his mother pulling for
all she was worth, he suddently 'popped' out onto the driveway. His
mother landed on her backside and started laughing. Getting up and
brushing down her blue jeans she said, "Well darling, can't say I've
ever experienced that before. My wedding dress was nowhere near as full
as yours. Besides, your late father and I had a Lim on that day, so
it's apples and oranges really. Let's get inside."
Tabitha headed up the path to the townhouse, terrified that the
neighbours would appear to investigate the commotion. The clicking of
his 2-inch heels was muffled by the dress fortunately. His mother
locked the car and followed. Unlocking the door she stood aside whilst
her beautiful son squeezed through the door frame and into the living
room. Tabitha made for his room but was ushered back into the lounge by
his mom.
"Oh no you don't! I want some more pics of you in that gorgeous dress."
"MOM! You must have taken hundreds at the community centre. With you.
With the other contestants. Paired with Holly. On the stage. With
Aunt Lydia and Aunt Zelda. You hardly need any more."
"I'll be the judge of that, honey. Just a few minutes and we can get
you undressed and cleaned up."
It was more than just a few minutes. She had him standing, seated on
the couch, the couch arm, at the dining table, in front of the fire
place: And, much to his chagrin, holding the front of his dress, hoop
and tulle up so show his stockinged legs and underwear.
"Okay, hon. Go to my room - there's more room. Take off your shoes (if
you can) and I'll be with you in a tick".
Judy Stretten watched as Tabitha struggled up the stairs, the dress
emitting a constant swish as it brushed up over the steps alongside the
wall and stairway balastrade. Smiling to herself, she checked the
doors, turned out the lights and generally secured the house. All the
while she recollected the fun she had experienced and not just tonight.
That was the culmination of a couple of weeks of great time with her
Tim. The preparations, the practice runs, the arguments. It had all
been so worthwhile.
As she ascended the stairs she heard a small sound. Like sobbing. Yes,
sobbing. She hurried to her room and saw her son, sitting on the end of
her bed, head down, hands over his eyes and crying.
"Tim, darling, whats the matter? Are you hurt?"
Sniffling a reply but not looking up, her son replied "I wish it were
only that. It's much worse, and I know you will hate me."
"Don't be silly, darling," she soothed, sitting down beside him and
embracing him. Then quietly she asked, "What is it, honey?"
There was a pause until, after a small choke, he blurted out, "I love
this dress, I enjoy being dressed and made up. I would do this every
weekend if I could. And yet I know that it's wrong and you and everyone
will think me strange." He began sobbing again and, at the pull of his
mother, pushed his face into the crook of her neck.
"There, there my darling child," she whispered as she rocked him back
and forth. "It's gonna be fine. There is no issue about the way you
feel. Actually, to be truthfull, the past couple of weeks have been the
happiest of my life since your father past away. And I sense that our
shared experience with the pageant pretty much kick started that. So be
it, I'll put you in a dress or skirts whenever you want, honey." And
she squeezed him even more tightly, stroking the back of his hair and
neck.
After a few minutes of silence and rocking, Tabitha's sobbing abated.
His mother got him to his feet and, turning him around, began release
the eyelets to the rear of the bodice. Once done, she gently worked the
bottom of the bodice, hoop and tulle elastic downwards until, after some
effort, Tabitha stood in a huge sea of fabric. Taking his mother's
hand, he stepped over the pile. As he did so, he saw his mother's face
and, after a moment realised what she was staring at.
The front of his pink panties were obviously stained. The result of the
'accident' in the car. He blushed crimson!
"It .. it happened in the car. You were with Mrs Jacobson and Holly,
well, she kissed me and ....." He trailed off, deeply embarrassed.
His mother hugged him again, told him it okay. Natural even. Then she
told him to go strip in the bathroom and shower then to come back when
done. As he did so, she couldn't help think "Well, if Holly can rattle
his cage with a kiss, then maybe things are going to be okay."
Tim returned five minutes later with a towell around him, his
breastforms jiggling as he walked.
"I think you have the solution to get these off," he said to his mom.
"I think we might leave them on tonight, don't you? And here is
something for you to sleep in." She opened a small white box, from
which she took a satin babydoll night gown with matching panties.
Minutes later, thus attired, Tabitha was tucked into bed. His mother
kissed him on the forehead and whispered in his ear, "It's gonna be
fine, darling. Me, Tim and Tabetha. Family." With that she turned out
the light and quietly closed the door.
