Cheri laughed. "None at all. Saseko, have you done community service at
the JerseyMax yet?"
Saseko shook her head.
Cheri winked. "The food's better than at the Bloop. Bigger portions, more
natural food. Heavy on the plant estrogens, though." Cheri patted her own

Cheri turned to Brent. "One and only one warning. You can't charge

you there?"

Brent looked puzzled. "No, the charter extends to Two Lisa."
"It misses the annex." She pat Brent on the arm. "Enjoy the life."
"I will."
Cheri walked back to Tesla, heels clicking on the tile floor.
Tesla asked, "Why did you warn him?"
"Because Saseko doesn't deserve what's coming. And some of the guys at
the frat house were just clueless, not criminal."
"I worry about you."

The Dawgs moved operations to Two Lisa. Brent got a license. It didn't
help. He was arrested at a Halloween party at the club house. He earned
one thirty-second mention in the news cycle the next evening.
Cheri never heard from him again.
