Chapter 3: Making an Example
Dave took a sip of his coffee as he walked towards the elevator, feeling
content. It had been a few days since his evening with Emilia and the
night spent with a dominatrix had proved to be an extremely good help
with his stress. As the boss of a large amount of people, having no
control at all for an evening did wonders. He felt that this would have
to be a long-term form of therapy for him, perhaps forever. As he walked
towards the elevator he saw James" team hard at work. He noticed that
James was very clearly wearing a women's blouse. He recalled Emilia's
mentioning the other evening of changes she would be making to James but
he didn't quite expect she'd be changing his fashion, he didn't really
know what she meant. He walked over to her desk while the others were
busy.
"Emilia, could I have a word?" he asked.
"Of course, sir." And they both walked towards the elevator, hanging
around by the doors.
"What is James wearing? I assume that was what you meant by the other
night?" he said, trying to keep an air of casual concern.
"Yes, I said I'd be making some changes and you did say it was okay. I'm
getting him in touch with his feminine side if you must know," she said.
"And he's okay with this?"
"Does it matter?" she asked. In truth, James was not okay. A couple days
previous Emilia had come into his office, held him down, ripped off his
shirt and proceeded to adorn him with a blouse. It's been his uniform
ever since. He tried coming in in a male shirt yesterday, but Emilia
ripped it off again and gave him a spare, but adding a tight corset to
his new uniform. The promise of adding additional garments for every male
shirt he brings in stopped him from trying again this morning.
"As long as it doesn't affect his work."
"It won't sir."
"Good, are we still on for this evening?"
"I'm afraid not, Can I rebook you for tomorrow night?" she asked.
"Of course, Emilia, but whys that?"
"I've just picked up a new client, someone you should know. Your CEO,
Robert Carlyle?" Emilia answered with a wry smile. Dave couldn't tell
whether she was just making conversation, or whether it was a veiled
threat on her part about questioning what she was doing, making it known
to Dave that she had influence on his superiors.
"Oh, nice one. Okay well good luck with work today Emilia." And he headed
to the elevator. "I almost forgot, another member of the team, Rick, will
be coming back today. He's been on leave due to a personal reason. I have
mentioned it to the rest of the team. I'm sure you'll get on."
Emilia was not looking forward to another male on the team, this could
foil her plans with James as well as the promises she's made to the
girls. Emilia, the queen of well laid plans, would have to think on her
feet.
Meanwhile, James had spent the day hidden in his office. His female
colleagues hadn't made many comments about his blouse over the past
couple of days but they had definitely seen it. Little did he know that
Emilia had advised them to not say anything, to avoid any unnecessary
freak outs before her work was completed. He had been informed by email
this morning that his co-worker Rick would be returning, and though he
should probably give him a warm welcome back as his manager, he didn't
want him to see him like this.
Rick strolled into work not long before lunch, determined to get back
into the swing of things. He walked up to the front desk and noticed the
new secretary.
"Hello miss, my name is Rick. It's nice to meet a new face," he said.
Emilia didn't look up from her computer screen. "Nice to meet you too."
Rick gave a her a look, said hello to Tracy and Cheryl, then headed into
James" office. While he was in there, Emilia quickly turned to the girls.
"Hey girls, really quickly, thoughts on Rick?"
"He's okay," said Cheryl.
"Dave said he's next in line for a promotion annoyingly. I think that's
sexist because my sales records beat his," said Tracy.
"Well he'll be gone by the end of the day so don't worry about that,"
replied Emilia.
"Wow okay," said Cheryl.
"Just if anyone asks you anything today, just agree with whatever I say
okay?" said Emilia.
"Sure thing," they both said.
In Rick's office, James walked in and sat opposite him. Rick was a
friendly enough guy and had no problems with James. He was very much a
team player.
"Hey boss, everything okay?" he asked smiling.
"Yeah they are okay, it's nice to see you back," said James, quietly.
Rick noticed his uneasiness before he noticed the blouse.
"Hey what are you wearing?" Rick asked.
James tried to stutter out an answer.
"Is that a blouse? Why are you wearing a blouse?" The laughter that James
expected was actually curious concern from his co-worker, which gave
James a glimmer of hope.
"If you must know, this is really difficult to say, but the new secretary
is actually a bit of an old bully of mine. She made me wear this, she's
blackmailing me." James relieved to finally be able to share this with
someone.
"Seriously? I'm not having this. Look, we'll sit and chat for a bit, have
a catch up, cheer you up a little, then I'll go have a chat with her
okay?" said Rick, trying to reassure his boss.
"Really? Thanks Rick that means a lot," James said.
Around an hour later, Rick left James"' office and headed straight for
Emilia's desk.
"What the hell do you think you're doing messing around with James?" he
shouted.
"Oh, you mean Jane?" replied Emilia, unfazed.
"See that shit won't fly with me, your new around here and I won't have
you bullying my co-workers. Listen here-"
Before Rick could finish his sentence, a security guard tapped him on the
shoulder. He turned around and saw two guards as well as a middle-aged
woman from the HR department. James came out timidly from his office when
he heard the commotion.
"I'm afraid we are going to have to escort you from the building Rick,"
the woman said.
"What? Why?" he shouted.
"We will discuss this outside," she replied.
The guards took Rick to the elevator and the HR woman stayed a moment to
address the department.
"If I could have your attention. Due to some extremely severe sexual
harassment claims made by a female member of staff here and confirmed by
a further two witnesses, Rick has been forbidden from entering the
building and let go. This comes as a shock to all of us and if anyone
needs to talk, please come see us." And she left.
During her speech, Emilia spent the whole time looking at James. And when
she left, Emilia got up and pushed him into his office.
"Do you understand the level of control I have now bitch?" said Emilia,
pushing James down onto a chair.
"Please don't do anything else Emilia, I was finally happy here before
you turned up," James said frantically.
"That's the problem" she said, and threw James coat at him.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"Your face was white as a sheet during that whole spectacle just now, I
think we can do something about that," she replied.
When James left work that day, not only was he still in his blouse, but
now had on a full face of make-up. It was fairly conservative, but you
could still tell it was there. He left in a hurry, while Emilia had
another catch up with her new co-workers.
"Your full of surprises Jane, I can't believe how quick you got rid of
Rick," said Tracy, tapping Emilia on the shoulder.
"Well it'll be an all-female office before this is over," said Emilia,
proud of her work so far.
"I'm so excited. James" make up is great by the way," said Cheryl.
"Well there's more to come this week, but trust me, by the end of next
week, you girls will have the run of the office."
"I'm so excited, you work fast," said Tracy.
"It's my job, I'm a pro ladies," Emilia said. As the two women got
themselves excited at the idea of no longer having a boss and running the
office themselves, Emilia was getting dripping wet at the idea of making
James" life a living hell again.
