He had been a jail owner in the 1820's and after his death it came out had regularly had people tortured under extreme methods.. the writer then inherits his estate and when cleaning a old lamp released the genie. He wished for honesty from the genie and had then asked why the fortunes had turn for the worse for his family time and again. Only to hear that with out pain the genie would starve. The story continued on for a time telling of how he tried to feed his demon of a genie but ended without explanation.

As I looked at the old brass lamp I seriously consider what to do. Should I do it? I mean every CEO becomes a successful by causing pain and suffering. With cutting insurance and making most employees make just under 32 hours so they have no benefits to get there medical leaves millions living in agony each year with un treated conditions so would i be so terrible if my fortunes rested on other pain?

I decided yes and pulled out the lamp and started polishing it. As the smoke slowly drifts out it is colored blue and purple and seems to be a sunset like scene as a traditional blue genie pops into existence
