School sucked, as usual. The classes were a breeze, but the home was a small one. We attended a public school. We had learned to ignore the comments a long time ago, but being ostracized sucked anyway. Even the smart kids treated us like pariahs. We made better grades than they did, so that might have been the reason, I suppose.

We used to get in fights a lot, but not anymore. When we quit losing, they quit trying. The only people who treated us like humans, were the teachers. They were annoying, too. The O'Hallorans were waiting for us when we got out, but in a different car. Actually, it was more like a truck. The Suburban was huge. Mr O'Halloran explained that they had traded the car in for it at the rental place because his wife needed the room. We didn't ask.

We soon found out he was serious. Denise and I had discussed it, and figured we'd be making a trip to the Salvation Army, or goodwill. That sounded good to us. It was much better than we were used to. Five hours later, we were done. It was more like the stores were closing, so we had to stop.

We had even gone to a gun store, which shocked both of us. While there, Mr. O'Halloran had us both fitted with holsters, and bought guns to go in them! He had us hold different rifles after that, until we found one he said 'fit us'. I was wondering just what kind of place we were going that we'd need guns!

That wasn't the reason we were both nearly comatose with shock. The truth is, neither of us had ever had any clothes that weren't hand-me-downs. Denise was nearly in tears, as she tried things on. I wasn't far behind. The jeans and boots felt strange at first, but I liked them. Denise was so cute in hers, that words failed me. The wolf whistle I gave when she modeled an outfit of jeans, boots, blouse, and Stetson, made the O'Hallorans laugh. Denise turned scarlet, but her smile told me she liked the response. She kept that one on.

The best part of the night, was when they told us we didn't have to go back to the home. They had received permission for us to spend the night with them. That way, we could get an early start 'home' in the morning.

The hotel experience was weird. They had one room, with two double beds. They figured we could talk more that way before we went to sleep. That wouldn't have been too odd, but they actually gave us an option. Either the guys could share one bed and the girls the other, or Denise and I could share one. They did point out that we now had new pajamas, and were expected to wear them.

That was the best nights sleep I ever had. I just about freaked out when I woke up, though. Denise was pressed close against me in the front, and I was hard. That wasn't unusual, the being hard, I mean. It happened a lot. There didn't need to be a reason for it to happen at odd times during the day, but it was always like that in the morning.

I was scared Denise would wake up and feel it against her butt. She'd probably be really mad at me if she knew. My arm was around her, too. When I realized just where my hand was, and what it was holding, I got even more scared. It must have somehow gotten under her pajama top, because it was right on top of her boob! I finally decided that I'd better try and escape to the bathroom before I was busted, when I heard Mrs. O'Halloran.

"That they do", I heard him say. "It worries me, though. Those two are very close, maybe too close."

I had to strain to hear his "That's what worries me the most. If they can't get along, things will get more difficult for her. If they were to shut her out for some reason, it would just make things worse. I hate to see Ann so sad. Should we wake them?"

I heard him chuckle, and then a door closing. I moaned. I couldn't help it. I really had to pee!

"You aren't helping things, that's for sure", I assured her. "Aren't you mad at me?"

"Why would I be?" she giggled. "I put your hand there, dummy. Its been there most of the night. I wanted to see what it felt like."

"I know what it feels like to me, and it isn't helping me any. It feels really nice, but I have to pee reeaaally bad."

"We better get up before they come out of the bathroom, then" Denise said. "The hand thing would be hard to explain. I'm glad the cover was over us."

I didn't see anything when she got up, but I tried. 'What has gotten into her' was all I could think.

I practically ran into the bathroom, as soon as the adults left it. It had been a close thing, and I was about ready to burst. I even gave Denise a chance, before I took my shower. The little brat was in there forever before she came out.

"I saved you some hot water, 'brother'", she said with a smirk as she emerged fully dressed and ready to go.

Mrs. O'Halloran got a kick out of that. At least she wasn't kidding. There was plenty of hot water left. There was even one towel. A hand towel. It was enough, if barely. I was kind of big for my age, so it was a close thing. My last physical two months ago said I was five-ten and weighed a hundred and fifty-three pounds. Denise was also tall, but probably didn't weigh a hundred pounds soaking wet. All the exercise we got kept us in pretty good shape, so neither of us was overweight.

We couldn't believe the trip home. When we pulled into the airport, Denise was ecstatic.

"Wow!" she squealed, "You mean we're gonna fly? How far is it?"

"There aren't any major roads close to our place" Mr. O'Halloran explained, "So this is a lot more convenient."

I managed to stay quiet, until I saw the plane. It wasn't an airliner, it was a small, twin engine job!

"Is this yours?", I asked in awe.

Mrs. O'Halloran explained while her husband did whatever it is someone does before they take off.

"Yes, it is. It comes in handy sometimes. Now, let's get your things stowed away!"

Denise and I spent the hour-long trip glued to the windows. It was really something. Or should I say, it was really nothing? It was mostly open land, but it was pretty.
