October 4, 1986, Chicago, Illinois

Later that evening, I told Bethany that Kara and Jessica had agreed to the date, and that I’d made the reservations. She stayed in with Kara and me, and we watched television and ate popcorn. Tasha had come for her usual homework session, but had left immediately afterwards, saying that she was going home so that she could go to church on Sunday morning.

“Anyone interested in a sauna?” Josie asked.

“Sure,” I said. “Is Jesse joining us?”

“Yes! Jenny will be over in ten minutes. I came to turn on the sauna. Who else is around?”

“Just Elyse,” I said. “Sofia, Alejandra, and Leila are at a party at Loyola. Stephanie and Jorge went dancing somewhere and Jess went back to Indy after lunch. I’m not sure where Charlie is.”

“On a date,” Kara said.

Bethany, Kara, and I joined Josie, Jennifer, and Jesse in the sauna.

“How long can the little guy stay in here now?” Bethany asked.

“Steve keeps the temperature lower because he likes lots of steam, which means Jesse can stay in here about fifteen minutes. If Steve did the whole ‘dry heat’ thing then he could stay in only a couple of minutes.”

“Steve and I were talking about parenting stuff earlier. I’m curious what you’re going to do with Jesse when he gets a bit older?”

“Nothing,” Jennifer said. “If he’s raised around nudity in the sauna, it’ll just be a normal thing for him; it won’t be a big deal.”

“Until he brings his friends into the sauna,” Bethany said. “Well, if it’s a mixed group. Other parents will flip out.”

Jennifer sighed, “I think Steve’s response to stuff like that is right - Fuck ‘em! But then some idiot parent calls the cops or DCFS and there’s a shitstorm.”

“That could happen even if it’s just all of Steve’s kids. Somebody could complain about it to DCFS and create all kinds of problems.”

“What the fuck?” I said. “Nudity is natural! Clothes are a technological invention! Don’t these people read National Geographic?”

Bethany nodded, “They do. And there have been protests when they had pictures of African women topless, which in certain situations is their normal mode of dress.”

“So what are you saying? We can’t behave the way we want in the privacy of our own home?” I asked.

“Here’s the problem. Even if the parents of the kids agree, some OTHER parent could report you.”

“Maybe I should just close NIKA and move to Sweden. I’m sure Jess could get into Karolinska for her Residency. And there are good schools for Kara to go to to finish her Chemistry Master’s degree.”

“I think what you have to do is set firm rules for when any outsiders are here. Like your old weekend rules. And be very careful of mixed-sex groups, especially if there are men over eighteen and girls under eighteen. Society just can’t deal with it, and some busybody will report you.”

I sighed, “You know what? I’m going to make millions and then buy my own island and set up my own kingdom! King Stephen the First! There will be exactly one capital crime - prudishness.”

All the girls laughed. Life was going to be far more difficult than I’d thought, even without the issue of having two wives.

October 12, 1986, Indianapolis, Indiana

“You guys can leave right after breakfast if you want to go to the Penguins game,” Jessica said as we ate.

“No way, Babe,” I said. “I want every minute with you that we can get. They aren’t going to stop playing ice hockey any time soon, so there will be other games. Dave, Julia, Sofia, and Elyse will use the tickets and probably take Alejandra and Leila with them.”

“That’s sweet of you. I know you love watching your beloved Penguins play! What’s the plan for next weekend?”

“I’m going to come down to spend it with you, Jess. Steve won’t be there, so we can have a wives’ weekend together.”

“Cool! We’ll make popcorn, watch TV, cuddle, and smooch!” Jessica said.

“And I’ll miss it!” I sighed.

“Oh please! You’ll be busy screwing your best friend silly!” Jessica said.

“Babe, all things being equal, I’d rather I was with you two. That’s where I belong.”

“Not in this case, you don’t,” Jessica said. “You need to screw your best friend back to normal. Just like the first time. And just like Elyse did for you when you were in your silly little funk over Penny.”

“You’re handling this pretty well,” I said.

“I’ve known this was coming since before you proposed to me. It had to happen. I don’t see any other way the two of you could set things right and put all the bullshit behind you.”

“Now I know you’re serious. You swore!” I chuckled.

“You’re a bad influence on me, husband!” she giggled. “What if I asked you to fuck my brains out before you leave?”

“I think I could oblige,” I said. “Kara, want to help?”

“Yes!” she said.

I got up, scooped Jessica from her chair, and carried her to the bedroom. I tossed her onto the bed and Kara and I pounced on her, quickly removed her clothes, and then our own and proceeded to do as she’d asked.

“I think I’m going to stay in bed,” Jessica said, two hours later when Kara and I got up to shower. “I don’t think I could move!”

“You asked for that!” I said.

“Oh, I know,” she sighed, “Those hard, driving, pounding lovemaking sessions just really take everything out of me.”

“Good!” I chuckled, kissing her.

After Kara and I showered, Jessica did get out of bed and shower. The three of us had lunch, and then Kara and I kissed and hugged Jessica, and headed back to Chicago.

October 12, 1986, Chicago, Illinois

“You missed a great game!” Sofia said as Kara and I walked into the house.

“Let me guess, the Penguins won?”

“Easily! They beat the Hawks 4-1.”

“That figures,” I said. “But, being with Jess was more important than a hockey game.”

“Well of course!” Sofia agreed. “How was your weekend?”

“Good. It just sucks to be away from Jess. I’d gotten really used to having her here the last two months. But, as we told you at dinner, we really appreciate your help in making that possible!”

“It was just a small piece of information.”

“An important one!” I said.

Kara and I went to call Jessica to let her know that we were safely home, then fixed ourselves something to eat. Afterwards, we had a quiet night at home, though I was a bit perturbed by the news report that talks between President Reagan and Soviet Premier Gorbachev in Reykjavík, Iceland had broken down at the last minute. I understood Reagan’s insistence on being able to test SDI components in the lab, and didn’t understand Gorbachev’s intransigence on the issue. I hoped more details would emerge, and that, in the end, some sort of intermediate range missile agreement could be reached. What I really wanted was the elimination of all nuclear weapons, but that, alas, was a pipe dream.

October 17, 1986, On the Road to Kohler, Wisconsin

“I talked to Jessica for nearly an hour last night,” Bethany said.

“And?” I asked, as I steered the car onto the Dan Ryan for the first leg of our journey north.

“I just wanted to make sure that she was truly OK with this, and that she understood exactly what you and I mean to each other.”

“And?”

“I wouldn’t be here if there was an issue. I wanted to make absolutely sure that I wasn’t going to cause you problems. Jess really loves you.”

“I know. Bethany, if you’re uncomfortable with this, we can spend the weekend together without having sex.”

“Are you out of your fucking mind?” she asked with a laugh. “I spent an hour on the phone making damned sure that you could fuck me senseless and Jessica would be OK with it. There is NO FUCKING WAY I am passing up that opportunity!”

“Sorry,” I chuckled. “You know my caution about stuff like this.”

“I do. And I also know that you had a long talk with Jessica as well. And that she had to talk you into this. Can you explain that one, Mr. Adams?”

“Easily,” I said. “I’m married to Jessica and Kara. It’s just not the same as it used to be.”

“You entertained your little Russian friend after she chased you for nearly four years!”

“Jess told you about that?”

“Yes. It was when we were discussing your reluctance to do this. You really have changed your attitude about this.”

“I have. I just felt different after I was with Lyudmila.”

“Regrets?”

“No way! Just different. And different in such a way that I question if it will happen again.”

“You mean to tell me that once Elyse has her second kid, you’re basically going to be exclusive with your wives?”

“It’s a distinct possibility,” I said.

She nodded pensively and we were quiet for a while.

“Do you remember the key that you gave me? To the safety deposit box?”

“Yes, of course.”

“Maybe you want to give that to someone else.”

“No way, Sweetheart. As long as you’re close by, you keep it. There’s nobody else I’d feel comfortable with having it.”

“I thought you’d ask for it back when we had our issues last year. I was surprised when you didn’t.”

“Asking for that key back would have been telling you that you weren’t my best friend.”

“How the hell do you do that?”

“You said you were going to do a study on me,” I chuckled. “And my answer is, that I have no idea. I just do it.”

“Have you ever hated anyone? I mean really, viscerally hated anyone? And don’t include your mom.”

I thought about it for a moment.

“No, I don’t think so. I mean, I don’t like my mom and I don’t like my brother, but I don’t hate them. Other than them, I guess the closest I’ve come to actually hating someone was either Julie van Hoek or Kent van der Meer. There’s a special place in hell for Josh Benton and Ted Dixon, too.”

I’d also put Connie and Anthony on my list of people I didn’t like, but I wasn’t about to mention them to Bethany.

“Becky’s mom and Kara’s former pastor. I can see why you would feel that way about them. You never hated Becky, though. Or Jennifer. And they probably hurt you more than anyone but me.”

“Sweetheart, if it’s a contest, Jennifer beats you hands down. Easily. But it’s not a contest. Everything that happened is water under the bridge. Our life together starts over today. And after this weekend, you and Nick will start a life together.”

“Me and Nick?”

“A person very, very close to me is predicting that you’ll be married by this time next year,” I said.

“Kara or Stephanie?” Bethany said with a grin.

“My sister.”

“What have you told Jessica about her?”

“Nothing about that,” I said firmly. “Not a word. Not a hint.”

“You’re running a pretty big risk by not telling her, or at least setting it up so she’s prepared to hear it.”

“Kara and I discussed it at length and decided it was best not to say anything. Who’s going to tell her?”

“Think about how many people know about it! What did you tell me about secrets getting out?”

I sighed, “That you square the number of people who know, and that’s the chance it will get out.”

“So, how many people know? Me, Stephanie, you, Melanie, Kara, Jennifer, Ed, Elyse, Jackie, and Anala make ten. And I think there are more.”

“Fuck,” I said. “This could destroy everything! And it’s not like Stephanie and I behave as we did before.”

“No you don’t. But what’s worse? Jessica hearing it from you and Kara? Or her hearing it from someone else? Your sister is fairly volatile. If she got really angry, she could let it slip.”

“I think it’s a really bad idea and I believe I should just let sleeping dogs lie.”

“This dog is going to wake up one day and bite you in the ass,” Bethany said. “If you’ll permit me to mix my metaphors, you need to take the bull by the horns. I think Jessica might surprise you.”

“Yeah,” I sighed. “With a scalpel so that she could put my balls in a specimen jar. And that’s if I’m lucky.”

“If you think that’s the best possible outcome, then why in the world did you keep if from her? You should have told her BEFORE you married her.”

“Well, I didn’t,” I said.

“No, you didn’t. That was a bad decision. You haven’t made many since my accident, but this was a doozy.”

“I did make that one big one when you first came back to Chicago. I should have skipped the church service.”

“That was just a misunderstanding on both our parts,” Bethany said. “We miscommunicated.”

“But I’d promised you that we’d be together when you came back.”

“True, but it was selfish of me to think that you should change all your plans based on the day I picked. But forget that, it’s water under the bridge, as you said. You really have been making good decisions and good choices in almost every instance. Just think about what I said. I didn’t want to put a damper on things.”

I chuckled, “Put a damper on sex between us? Even that very first time you were pretty wild!”

“So I had a bit of aggression and a lot of horniness to work off!” she giggled. “Remember, I was ready to have sex with Josh at thirteen. You came along a couple of years after that! And I haven’t had sex with anyone since August of last year, and that last time was horrible. So I might just have a bit of horniness to work off this weekend!”

“A bit? Should I be afraid?” I smirked.

“I hope the bed is sturdy, that’s all I have to say!”

“And you’re really ready to move on with your life?”

“I am. I think, finally, I’ve dealt with everything from my past. This weekend will close the book on one part of my life and let me open a new Chapter.”

“And it takes making love with me to do that?”

She looked over at me and cocked her head.

“This isn’t the old caution. This is something new. You’re actually considering both the short and long-term ramifications of this.”

“Sweetheart, I promised to do whatever you need me to do to fix this and set things right. Do YOU think this is necessary? And the right way to do it? I mean, all things considered?”

“Do you promise to keep your word if I answer truthfully?”

“Weren’t you the one before talking about truth?” I said, wondering where this was going. “But yes, I do.”

“Part of it is that I’m horny beyond belief and I know that there is nobody in this world except you who could fuck me like I need to be fucked right now. There’s also nobody in this world that could make love to me like I need to be made love to right now. I love you more than anyone or anything, and that will probably always be true, no matter who I’m with after this weekend. I know that after this weekend, I can never, ever have you again. So I want you one last time.”

The Book Club

My sham of a marriage was finally over. My useless husband had decided that as soon as I reached the magic age of thirty he needed to look for a younger model. So when he finally admitted that he was screwing his nineteen-year-old secretary, I just snapped and kicked him out. The relief was palpable. But even though he had not treated me like a woman for some time, I found, much to my annoyance, that I missed having male company about the house.I shared my relief and my misgivings with my best...

A WellLived Life 3 Book 1 SuzanneChapter 73 Hypothetical Questions

December 5, 2000, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota “I had a good time last night,” I said. “I was surprised you invited a friend!” Mary laughed as we walked into the exam room, “Naomi had a good time as well. You know what a Resident’s life is like.” I nodded, “No social life.” “Exactly. You guys seemed to hit it off pretty well.” “Yes, but I’m not here for that!” “You’re everywhere for that, and you know it!” I couldn’t help but laugh. “Let’s just say that you hit the sweet spot -...

A WellLived Life Book 3 PiaChapter 26 Americans and Swedes Part I

March 1980, Hovås/Göteborg, Sweden The next week flew by and on Friday, I went straight to Katt’s house from school. I actually arrived a few minutes before she did and sat on the front step because her parents weren’t home from work. Katt came up the walk, and we kissed. “No skating on Friday afternoons?” “No. I traded that for being able to see you a few weeks ago! Otherwise, I’d go straight to the rink from school and be there until 7:00pm.” “Wow. That makes for really long days!” “It...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 78 Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Part II

May 15, 1992, Glencoe, Illinois “Join me in my study, if you would,” Noel Spurgeon said when we finished our dessert. It had been an interesting evening. Samantha and I had talked for a bit before we’d been summoned to dinner. The meal had been prepared by a chef and was served by a white-coated young man. Again, this was a far cry from Lois at the van Hoeks’ house. What wasn’t a far cry was the fact that I was having dinner with a man who knew I was going to be sleeping with his daughter...

A WellLived Life Book 3 PiaChapter 27 Americans and Swedes Part II

April 1980, Alingsås, Sweden When I arrived home, I noticed that the pool was full! In addition, the golf course had officially opened on Saturday. I had decided to continue skating in the morning rather than run, since I liked skating a lot more. I’d miss skating when I got home, but I was really looking forward to being able to swim again. I really missed that. On Monday morning, rather than head for school, I went to Centralstationen and caught the train to Alingsås. It was a short trip,...

Dont Sleep on the Subway Book ThreeChapter 31 Aug 1942 First Massive American Air Attack on Germany

“We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, ‘Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.’ I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.” ― J. The Grandmothers Club

The Grandmother’s Club Where do I begin? Well my parents were childhood sweethearts. They lived right next door to one another the whole time that they were growing up. To this very day my two grandmothers live side by side in separate houses. They are both widowed and they have combined their backyards into one big yard. Mom and Dad said that their mothers had gone to a lawyer and entered into a partnership, which gave them almost the same rights as being a married couple. Mom and...

October 1981, Chicago, Illinois I arrived back at the apartment just before 10:00pm and saw the address for the party. I decided I wasn’t particularly interested in going so I put on some music, poured myself a glass of wine, and started reading more about Russia. I was alternating between the history and culture book and the Communist Party book, decided on the history and culture book for this time. I didn’t get much reading done because I was thinking about Tatyana, which led me to...

“I’m sorry I didn’t show up last time,” Karen said.“Well,” I shrugged, “it’s strictly voluntary.”“All the same,” Karen replied. “I don’t want you to think it’s because I’m not interested.”“Oh, it would be difficult to make that mistake,” I said.I wasn’t just being polite. This evening had been the twelfth of thirteen book club evenings I had presided over during the autumn months. Karen had attended all but last week’s, often putting me on the spot with questions and insights born of a bright...

June 23, 1994, Oguni, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan My first week in Japan flew by, and a routine developed. Sakurako would wake me; I’d exercise and run, then shower and have breakfast, and share tea with Sakurako. After breakfast, I’d meditate, and then have my training session. After lunch, I’d work in the garden, or, as I had this day, wash the floors in the house. Hiroshi would accompany me back to the cottage and we’d talk while I washed up and dressed for dinner. After dinner, I’d spend...

January, 1985, Chicago, Illinois I arrived back in Hyde Park about ten minutes before the end of the Super Bowl. It didn’t look like it had been much of a contest, given that the score was 38-16, with San Francisco trouncing Miami. I grabbed a Coke and some chips and sat down on the couch next to Julia and Dave. Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 2 Phi Theta Rho Party Again

Late on Saturday afternoon Dave shifted into his job as one of the bartenders for the Circle. Just as he was ready for a first customer, Emma came racing up to the bar. She was alone and only wearing a monokini, unlike a few hours earlier when her parents and younger sister had visited and she was dressed conservatively. She extended her body over the bar and kissed Dave. “Thank you for being so nice to my parents and sister.” “Of course. They’re nice people. I take it they don’t know a...

August 1981, Chicago, Illinois On Sunday morning, I made my usual call to Karin. I described everything in the apartment and all the things I’d done during the week, including the reception. Both of us would start school in a week and we were both looking forward to it. When we finished talking, I went out for my run, showered, and ate breakfast. I made some tea, started a load of laundry, and then turned on the stereo. I put on an REO Speedwagon album and then relaxed on the couch with the...

The Dallas Fathers Club

Introduction: The families that play together get layed a lot The Dallas Fathers Club There are fathers clubs all over the United States, probably all over the world, dedicated to the proposition that sex between parents and their children is a good thing. Of course you will not find them listed in the yellow pages or advertised on billboards, at least not in this country. However they do exist and they all seem to have many members. In fact I was surprised a secret of this sort could be so...

June 1977 When I got home, I grabbed a Coke and some chips and went right to my room. I didn’t think I could deal with my parents or Jeff or Stephanie. I just needed to be by myself. That wouldn’t seem odd to anyone, because I often went to my room to read. In addition, I now had the TV I’d received for my birthday. I flipped it on to WXIX Channel 19 and reruns of Gilligan’s Island and Green Acres played in the background while I read. I had to get my mind clear for the final exams that...

Chapter 29 A Captain Joins My Book Club

After my confession to Gabriel, the only star’s gravitation that pulled my life’s orbit was family. The kids married, got jobs, bought houses and blessed me with grandchildren. For seven years hubby and I traveled, not just to the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angles, New York but Asia, Europe, South America. Life was good. A few grey hairs, so what? Nothing a hairdresser couldn't fix. Then came the warnings, hot and cold but brushed aside. Soon after my fifty-third birthday, however, it didn’t...

A WellLived Life Book 7 Kara IIChapter 20 The Winds of Change

July, 1982, Milford, Ohio I woke up early on Friday morning to make breakfast for Kara and her mom before she went to work. Mrs. Blanchard was surprised, but very pleased. After her mom left for work, Kara gave me a fierce kiss. “Thanks for staying in and cooking breakfast for us,” Kara said. “I hope that doesn’t cause you trouble with Stephanie, with you breaking your normal routine.” “Don’t worry about it,” I said, kissing her back. “We got in a bit later than I expected, and she’ll...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 36 My Lifes Journey

July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I woke up early on the First of July, because my body clock was still set to Swedish time. The flight back had been long but uneventful, and I was happy that the businessman in the seat next to me hadn’t wanted to talk. I read, wrote some longhand journal entries, ate, and generally relaxed while the plane zipped over the Atlantic. I’d come home, taken a sauna, eaten a light meal, and gone straight to bed, not bothering to check messages, look at the mail that...

Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 36 Fan Club

Dave had gotten a large paper map of the United States from AAA. He’d mounted the large map on black foam board. On the map, Dave had worked with Cricket, and plotted out the entire route that Jim Mellon supposedly traveled in the book Road Trip. That information was marked on the map in a very pale blue color with small light blue map pins to indicate the places Mellon had stopped and had some kind of adventure or love affair along his route. Next on the map, Dave had put tiny opaque red...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 38 Jennifer

July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois After Rosie left, I stripped the sheets from my bed, as well as the cover of the duvet, and tossed everything into the washing machine. I lit a lavender candle in the room, and then swept and dusted. I did a quick spot-check of the rest of the house and noticed that the tub in the sauna needed to be cleaned. I scrubbed it, then mopped the sauna floor with a damp sponge mop. I finished cleaning the sauna about the time the washing machine finished, so I moved...

A WellLived Life Book 9 AnalaChapter 59 New Friends

August, 1984, Chicago, Illinois The rest of the week proceeded as expected - class on Wednesday, as well as the usual visit from Penny, work on Thursday, and class on Friday. Kara and I had lunch together at IIT, Sofia practiced her driving and parking, and I hung out with Mark Agnini after class for beers. Staci and I got into a couple of interesting debates about the Old Testament that Mark had to break up to allow others in the class to participate. She was very much of the ‘directly...

A WellLived Life 3 Book 1 SuzanneChapter 7 Reaching the Peak

March 25, 2000, Chicago, Illinois “What time do I need to have you home?” “8:00pm will be fine,” Misty replied. “My parents are in Normal visiting my brother at Illinois State. They aren’t supposed to be home before 10:00pm.” Misty and I were in my car on the way to the NIKA apartment which, fortunately, was not being used. With our expansion, it was in more or less regular use, and that meant I didn’t have access to it as often as I would have liked. I was glad there had been a delay in...

Sins from my Stepmother Book 1 Ch 15

I My name is Teddy Carlson. I’m twenty-two years old and I fucked my stepmother. Not just once in some momentary lapse of judgement. But again and again…and again. Before you judge me, there’s a few things you need to understand. First, Dad and I never exactly got on like a house on fire. He was the CIO of a large hedge fund which meant that he wasn’t around much. He travelled to Europe regularly and commuted during the week to Manhattan for meetings. When he was home, he was either...

A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 7 Setting the Course of My Life

June 1977 Friday ended up being a non-event. The more I thought about it, the more I was sure that there was no way on this earth I could say what happened between Birgit and me was a sin. Calling it a sin would debase it into a meaningless act. I could never do that. And the more I thought about Jennie McGrath, the more sure I was that I couldn’t call what she did for me a sin, either. If the church was right, I was going to hell. And frankly, there was no way that could be true. So I...

Nikis Family LifeChapter 20 The Book Club

Cyndi looked from Niki’s laid back position, her fingers already beginning to slide down between her legs, tuft of white tail peeing out below, to Rachel’s almost eager face looking back at her, seeking her approval. Glancing at Kelly and the suddenly confident look she had gained over the last couple of days, she turned back to Ms. Craig, wondering where to begin, and exactly how much to share. “I guess it all started with Max”, Cyndi said, fully intending on choosing her words carefully,...

January 17, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “What time do you have to leave this morning?” Kara asked as we showered together on Tuesday morning. “About 8:30am,” I said. “I’m driving over to get Jeri, then heading to O’Hare. We have an 11:00am flight. Assuming all goes well, we’ll be in the office by 3:00pm Pacific time. We’ll spend a couple hours going over the software then go to dinner. The demo is tomorrow. Katya found the information for me when I asked her to look into several things about Brandon Littleton, Kevin Lomax, and John Milton.” “Do you know more about him?” “A LOT more. I don’t think you want to know.” “Probably not, but I’m your criminal defense attorney, and even though San Antonio doesn’t have you involved in this, you know the CPD...

“So, how should we do these Stone’s songs?” Phil asked at our rehearsal session. “I think we all know the music, we just need to come up with a pretty awesome arrangement; we don’t want to sound like yet another cheap cover band.” “I had some ideas, if it’s okay for me to make some suggestions,” Allison said. “Of course it is,” Phil said. “Everyone can have a say, there’s no rule that says you can’t participate in the discussion.” “Thanks, Phil, I guess being the newest here, I’m a bit...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 5 MichelleChapter 77 Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Part I

May 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Monday was turning out to be a LONG day. After my run and talk with Gina, and my talk with Elyse, I had a full day at the office scheduled. First was our leadership meeting in the morning, and then I had status meetings with each team. At lunch I’d gone to see Siobhán and explained that I was going to break off the sexual relationship, but that I wanted to remain friends. She was disappointed, but admitted that Thursday would have been the last time, since she...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 3 JessicaChapter 23 So Now You Turn Back Into Diana Prince

January 19, 1989, En-Route from LAX to ORD When the engines of the plane started, Jeri reached over and took my hand. She held it while we pushed away from the gate, and taxied for takeoff. Her grip tightened a bit as we hurtled down the runway, but nothing like the death grip she’d had on my arm for the flight out. The plane roared its way into the air and once we leveled out, Jeri’s grip loosened but she didn’t let go of my hand. “How are you doing?” I asked with a touch of...

The Adventures of Americanman Dreamworld

The Adventures of American-man: Dreamworld By Paul G Jutras Chapter One: Doorway of Doom October 31, 3086, a historical team uncovered a weird chest with pictures carved all over the outside. Each was dressed in hiking boots, knee-high socks, too tight shorts, sleeveless shirts and pit helmets. As one of them broke open the chest a mist rose out and formed into a skull headed demon. Rays shot from it's eye socks, transforming the girls' skin to plastic. As they fell over, the...

October 1981, Chicago, Illinois I went to my room, closed the door and dialed my old number in Milford and Stephanie answered. “Hi, Stephanie!” “Hey, Big Bro! How’s Chicago?” “Pretty good. A lot of stuff is happening. But I have a favor to ask. Well, really, it’s a favor from Ed. I’m coming home this weekend and I was wondering if I could borrow the keys to the apartment.” “You and Kara? On Saturday? I’m sure the answer is yes. September 1982, Chicago, Illinois The weekend was quiet and besides homework, I worked on the program changes for Frank, called Karin, Tatyana, and Kara, and hung out with my usual study group. Monday was refreshingly normal. On Tuesday morning, I handed Katy my completed intake form. She put it in an envelope and stuck it in her bag. She said she’d let me know soon about the interview. October 1982, Chicago, Illinois The drive back to Chicago was as uneventful as usual, and I arrived at the apartment just before 6:00pm. When I arrived, Elyse and Stephie were sitting on the couch and Jackie was sitting on the loveseat. Stephie hopped up as I opened the door and greeted me with a hug and a kiss. “Hi, Peaches!” I said. “Glad you’re home, Yankee!” “Hi, Steve,” Elyse and Jackie both said. “Hey,” I replied. “How was the weekend?” “Well, it was just Kurt with me, Stephie,...

September 4, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “These are really interesting pieces,” I said to Siobhán. Kimmy, Elyse, and I were reviewing the two completed pieces that she’d done as examples of what the series would look like. “You don’t like them?” Siobhán asked pensively. “No, I do! Why would you think I didn’t?” “Usually when someone says ‘interesting’ about abstract art it means they don’t like it.” “Sorry, in this case I meant it. Maybe ‘intriguing’ would have been a better word.” She...

June 29, 1995, Chicago, Illinois On Thursday, I finally had lunch with Melissa again, something I hadn’t been looking forward to. Much like with Cèlia, Melissa and I had passed an inflection point and I was left with sub-optimal paths forward. I’d been struggling with the possible solutions, and all of them had pitfalls. When I walked into Takumi, I had something of a plan. Whether it was good or not would only be known once everything played out. “I spoke to my wives,” I said after we’d...

June 11, 1989, Chicago, Illinois It was just after 3:00am when I kissed Trish goodbye. She’d been an enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous lover. We’d done just about anything either of us could think of, though her breasts weren’t large enough for a tit-fuck. The last time had been in the shower where we’d ostensibly gone to clean up afterwards, but instead I ended up taking her from behind as she leaned against the wall of the shower. “I think I’ll have you again, Steve Adams,” she...

May 1978 The first couple of weeks in May were busy with school, work, and friends. Except for Becky, I didn’t even have any dates. But I was OK with that. Well, almost OK. I wanted to see Anna, but it likely wasn’t going to happen until school was out. I had tutoring sessions with Melanie, but she still wouldn’t talk to me about anything other than Spanish. Barely a hello. I was grateful for the tutoring, but it was maddening seeing my friend this way. I hoped someday she could understand...

March, 1982, Milford, Ohio As I drove along I-65, I thought about what Stephanie had asked for and what Bethany had said without even knowing about the request. Of course, because Bethany and I were so in tune, she might have actually had an idea that I was struggling with getting involved with my sister again. I kept turning it over and over in my mind and I kept coming to the same conclusion — that I shouldn’t do it. I was torn between doing what Stephanie wanted and doing what Kara and...

He has her tied to the bed!” “That might be fun,” I grinned. “And then I can tie YOU to the bed?” she asked with a silly smirk. “I suppose turn-about is fair play.” “And threesomes?” “That might not...
