Gina could stand it no longer, her heart aching with uncertainty. She had to know. As seven o'clock finally rolled around and Todd showed up to take her shift for her, Gina got in the Expedition and, despite telling herself she would not, she found herself driving slowly toward Kim's apartment house.
Johnny had stationed himself across the street inside a convenience store where, unobserved, he had a clear view of the apartment house. He had been waiting only a matter of minutes when he saw the Sheriff's SUV cruise slowly by. He waited patiently and, sure enough, it passed again, this time pulling into a parking lot down the street where there was a clear view of the entrance to the apartment house. He fed the coins into the pay phone and pushed the buttons.
"Hello," said Kim lifelessly.
"All right, we're all set. Your dyke is so predictable. She's in her SUV just down the street. Now when it gets dark, say another thirty minutes or so, I want you to go out the front, look around as if you don't want to be seen, then drive over to the Skyline Motel. Do you know where it is?"
"Yes," answered the beautiful but totally dispirited woman.
"Then I want you to park down the street a bit and walk to the motel, as if you're trying to hide being there. Come to room 22. And Kim..."
"Yes?"
"When I open that door, you better be all over me. You understand? It better look like you can't wait to get laid. Got it?"
She didn't answer.
"I said, got it?" he commanded.

"And when we get inside, you better fuck me like you've never fucked me before... and you had better look like you're enjoying every minute of it. And I don't just want her to see, I want her to hear you, begging for it. You understand?"
Again she could not bring herself to answer.
"I said you understand?" he repeated brusquely.

"Shut up. That dyke is going to get hers. She thinks she can push me around and take you away from me. Well, we're going to find out who takes you away from who."

She was begging and they both knew it.
Get used to doing what I tell you Kim. You're mine and you always will be, unless you want your girl friend to wind up sweeping floors for a living. Now are you going to do what I told you?"
"... Yes..." was the weak and subservient reply.
Thirty minutes later Kim, as instructed, left the apartment house, looking around as if she was trying to leave unobserved and got into her car. She caught a glimpse of Gina's SUV pulling out to follow as she drove away.
Gina followed at a block and a half distance, unaware that Kim was aware she was following. The doubts were gnawing at her more heavily with each passing moment. She saw Kim pull into a drug store parking lot and begin walking so she did the same, again staying at a distance at which she felt Kim would not be aware of her presence. Her spirit sank as Kim walked into the parking lot of the Skyline Motel, not exactly a best rated motel, known for its cheap rates and a clientele who often rented by the hour. As Kim approached a particular room, Gina crouched behind a tall hedge to get a clear view of the door of room 22.
Kim knocked on the door, hoping against hope that Johnny would somehow not be there, that this was somehow just a joke. But the door opened and Johnny stood, bare chested in the doorway.
"Make it good Kim," he said under his breath.
Gina's heart sank as Kim leaped into Johnny's arms and smothered him with deep and passionate kisses. One leg bent at the knee and came up behind her, as if she were being breathlessly swept off her feet.
