November 26, 2000, Saint Martin, Leeward Islands, Lesser Antilles

Annette and I got out of the tub when the water cooled, took a quick shower to rinse off the suds, dried, dressed, and went down to the kitchen to make lunch. After lunch we went to the beach for an hour, then returned to the house to cuddle on the couch to watch Notting Hill, a movie Annette wanted to see, and to which I agreed, despite having an extreme dislike for Julia Roberts. I didn’t say anything to Annette about that, and together we enjoyed the romantic comedy. After the movie, we took a walk, then came back to the house to cook dinner.

After dinner we watched another romantic comedy, Three to Tango, a movie I hadn’t even heard about. It was pretty good, and played up the failed ‘gaydar’ of a rich businessman who asked a guy he thought was gay to take care of his mistress for him. It was a foolish mistake, and I knew from twenty-five years of knowing gays and lesbians that there were no obvious signs and no unique attitudes or behaviors which gave away sexual orientation. There were certainly some who were very public about it, but as was the case with a couple of NIKA employees, it was simple to keep it private if you weren’t into public displays of affection.

When the movie ended, it was dark enough for us to head to the secluded cove. We hadn’t made love all day because Annette wanted to make love all night under the stars. I was a bit concerned about her not getting any sleep before school, but she reassured me everything would be fine and she’d just go to bed early on Monday evening.

When we arrived at the cove, we couldn’t take our usual spot as it would have been in sight of another couple, so we simply moved down the beach a bit so that their silhouettes faded into the dark sands. We spread our blanket, undressed, and lay down together. We had nearly nine hours, so we were in no rush. We kissed, touched, licked, and sucked for quite some time before we finally coupled and began to make gentle love to each other.

“If you could have one wish,” Annette asked, as we moved slowly together, “what would it be.”

I could game the question by saying something that went beyond what I was sure was the spirit of her question, so I rejected the immediate thought I had, and narrowed it down to one person.

“That my friend Jorge didn’t die,” I said. “And you?”

“That I had met you before I was with Marc, that this, what we’re doing right here, right now, was what my first time was like. With a strong, but gentle man like you who knows how to please a woman and who makes her feel special, the way you did with Jeannette. My virginity was wasted on Marc, who wanted a notch on his bedpost.”

We kissed for a bit and Annette had her first gentle orgasm of the night.

“I can’t even describe how it feels,” she sighed when it had passed. “You move inside me and touch me in the most amazing ways, and my pleasure grows until my entire body feels as if it’s on fire. And that was just a little one. The big ones are beyond even describing, especially when you cum in me as it happens.”

I kissed her.

“I’m very happy I can pleasure you this way.”

“All night,” she said with a deep sigh. “Make love to me all night.”

November 27, 2000, Saint Martin, Leeward Islands, Lesser Antilles

We got back to the house just before 6:00am on Monday morning where we took a wonderful shower together, after which I made breakfast. We ate, cleaned up, and then Annette gathered her things, put her bag over her shoulder, and I walked her to the front door where we exchanged a soft, loving kiss.

“Thank you,” I said.

“I think that’s what I’m supposed to say!” she protested.

“I’m thanking you for the wonderful long weekend and for the time we had together.”

She smiled, “Me, too. And for making love to me all night on the beach. I really hope you can come back before I leave for university.”

“I can’t promise because we never know what the future will hold, but I would love to come back.”

“And see Jeannette?” Annette teased.

“I wouldn’t mind, but if I came back, it would be for you and you would decide.”

“You’re so good to me. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”

“I’m sorry I have to leave now, but school...”

“I know,” I said, then gave her a quick kiss. “I have work.”

She smiled we hugged, kissed again, and then I opened the door so she could leave. She made her way along the walk, turned, waved, and then disappeared out of sight. I closed the door, turned, and leaned against it for a moment, then went upstairs to pack my things.

“Leaving?” a female voice said from the doorway.

I turned to see Rebekah.

“In about thirty minutes,” I replied. “The car will be here to take me to the airport. How long are you staying?”

“Until next Sunday. The guys took a week off work.”

“Cool.”

“Knowing you, and knowing my cousin, I can say this - thank you for the VERY erotic show the other night!”

“Oops,” I chuckled.

“We were very disappointed that you chose to come inside after just one time!”

“Sorry to ruin your evening’s entertainment!”

Rebekah laughed, “Oh, it made us all so hot that we had PLENTY of entertainment! Though I wouldn’t have minded seeing you take those two girls at once!”

I laughed, hard.

“You and your cousin are absolutely on the same page there!”

“It’s so funny how much alike we are even though we didn’t grow up together and our dads were on the outs.”

“For sure. And I absolutely like you better with the long blonde hair.”

“Duh!” Rebekah laughed. “That’s the only way to have the cousin fantasy!”

“I think you need to talk to my friend Kurt,” I grinned. “He’s had the hots for Kara from day one.”

“That’s the one whose wife you’d bang at the drop of a hat if you could? Well, assuming she grew back her pubes!”

“I see Kara has filled you in on our fantasies.”

“She heard mine, too!” Rebekah laughed. “But I’m exclusive with my guys, so getting my brains fucked out by my cousin’s studly husband isn’t going to happen any more than your cousin fantasy!”

I chuckled, “The Blanchard girls are sex fiends!”

“So?!” she asked petulantly, sounding EXACTLY like Kara.

“That was an observation, not a complaint! May I ask about Lou and Josh?”

“Fully bi, which I think you knew, and like with you and your wives, sometimes I watch!”

“I rest my case,” I grinned.

“I’m going back to bed; I just wanted to say ‘goodbye’ and we’ll see you in Chicago sometime during Christmas break.”

“Sounds good.”

“Enjoy the flight back,” she said with a smirk.

“And what does THAT smirk mean?” I asked.

“You’ll see!”

November 27, 2000, Aboard the Gulfstream en route to Chicago

I rolled my eyes, grabbed my bag, and headed downstairs to wait for the car which would take me to the airport where I would find out what Samantha, Kara, or Rebekah had cooked up, or, perhaps most dangerously, the three of them together. I made some tea and sipped it until the doorbell rang. I grabbed my bag, went to the door, and then followed the driver to the car. Thirty minutes later, having been cleared, I walked onto the tarmac where the Spurgeon Gulfstream was parked. I saw LeeAnn, the pilot, but noticed that the co-pilot, who had her back turned to me, was not Jack, the usual co-pilot, who had flown me down on Friday.

I walked over to LeeAnn to let her know I’d arrived.

“Morning,” I said.

“Hi, Steve. We’re almost done with the pre-flight. Go ahead and get onboard and we’ll be ready to go in less than ten minutes.”

I walked over to the jet and climbed the stairs, immediately noticing that the cabin was configured with the sleeping berth. That made me VERY suspicious about whatever it was that Rebekah had hinted at. I didn’t see anyone else in the plane, even after checking the sleeping berth, but that didn’t mean another passenger couldn’t board at the last moment. I stowed my bag and sat down, and saw that taped to the bulkhead was an envelope which had ‘Steve’ written on it in Samantha’s distinctive, and bad, cursive. Of course, mine was non-existent, as I typed or printed everything, so I had no room to talk. I opened the envelope to find a note.

Steve,

Hope you had a great time in Saint Martin. Knowing you, and knowing what you were doing, I figured you might want to catch some shuteye on the plane. I had them configure the sleeping berth. When you get back to Chicago, call me. I have some things to discuss with you. Have a safe flight.

-Love, Samantha.

P.S. Holy shit is Florida a mess! And Gore is a complete weenie!

I chuckled because I knew Samantha had voted for Bush despite it being effectively worthless in Illinois because of the ‘winner-take-all’ method used in Illinois, as with most states, for electors. I preferred the district-by-district model where the overall winner got the two ‘bonus’ votes. Only two states had that system, and the chances that Illinois would ever adopt it were zero, as it was a lock for Democrats when voting for President.

LeeAnn came into the plane two minutes later, followed by the co-pilot who looked vaguely familiar, but whom I couldn’t immediately place.

“Buckled in?” LeeAnn asked.

“Yes.”

“Then we’ll ‘kick the tires and light the fires’ and get out of here!”

I chuckled, “You had afterburners installed on the Gulfstream?”

LeeAnn laughed, “I should have known that a Navy brat who hangs out with Navy guys would know the meaning behind the phrase.”

“My dad was out of the Navy for eighteen years when I was born, I’m hardly a Navy brat!”

“It’s in the blood! At least one of your kids is going Navy, right?”

“Albert. How long did you serve?”

“Ten years and the assholes never let me fly a jet off the deck of a carrier!”

“I prefer nice, gentle landings to dropping a nearly forty-ton aircraft on the flight deck and trapping, going from flight speed to zero in a split second!”

“Wimp!” she teased.

“LeeAnn?” the co-pilot called. “Ready to start the engines.”

“Be right there!” LeeAnn replied.

It suddenly dawned on me who the co-pilot was, but I couldn’t immediately remember her name. She was one of the group who Kara and Elyse referred to as the ‘Saint Martin Six’, and one I had very much enjoyed being with. I couldn’t see due to the pilot’s blouse, but I recalled she’d had absolutely perfect, to-die-for, Steve-type breasts, and that our one and only time together had been fantastic. I combed the depths of my memory and just as the second engine started, I remembered her name - Louise Belleri, at the time Liz’s best friend. In the intervening seven years, I hadn’t heard her name, except perhaps once, and that was not long after the Saint Martin trip.

Rebekah’s comment was even more curious because I recalled that Louise had made sure she came to me in complete privacy, and requested that I not say anything to anyone about what we’d done together. Liz knew, but that was it, though, as I thought about it, I was sure Samantha knew, or at least suspected, and when Louise had gone to work for her, she’d planned something like this, just to tease me. It all made sense, now that I’d figured out who she was.

We taxied for a bit, waited our turn in line, then took off, quickly banking to the north to head for Chicago. Once we’d leveled off, I got a bottle of San Pellegrino from the mini bar and debated with myself about taking a nap. I drank the bottle of water, tossed the empty into the small bin marked ‘Recycle’, and decided I’d write in my journal rather than sleep because I wasn’t feeling tired. I was sure it would catch up with me, but I could sleep in on Tuesday if necessary, or if Jessica insisted.

I had just retrieved my laptop from my bag when I saw movement out of the corner of my eye.

“Hi, Steve,” Louise said softly.

I looked up and smiled, “Hi, Louise! How are you?”

“You remembered!” she said giddily.

I beckoned for her to lean down so I could speak quietly and she could hear over the whine of the twin jet engines and the rush of air outside the fuselage.

“How could I forget one of the most perfect bodies I’ve had the pleasure of seeing and feeling pressed against mine!”

She laughed, “With your list of girls?”

I smiled and gave a disarming shrug, “It’s true. How long have you worked for Samantha?”

“About two months. I got a degree in aeronautics, which basically came with a pilot’s license, did my certifications, and now I’m working on command certification in Gulfstreams. And she shares me with two other Gulfstream owners.”

“Very cool! Are you in touch with Liz?”

“Of course! I know all about you, Liz, and your business.”

“She never speaks of you.”

“I’m still a very, very private person, and she knows and honors that. She’s still the only one who knows we were together. Well, Samantha suspects, but only Liz knows.”

“Does Liz know you’re on this flight?” I asked.

Louise laughed softly, “She does. She’s still my best friend; I mean who else would let me watch when she lost her virginity?”

I suppressed a chuckle because I knew quite a few girls from the past twenty-three years who’d had no issues with an audience, including my sister’s friends Trish and Shelly.

“She’s a special person,” I agreed.

Louise smiled, pulled a small envelope from her pocket and handed it to me. On the front was my name written in Liz’s distinctive, and excellent, cursive. I opened the envelope and extracted a small card.

Steve,

I hope you recognized Louise and didn’t have to ask who she was. I know you well enough to think you did, but our minds have strange ways of playing tricks on us! And if you didn’t remember, I know you well enough that you could turn on the charm more than enough to not make Louise feel bad.

When she told me two months ago she was going to work for the joint venture Samantha has with two other jet owners, and when I found out you were flying down on Samantha’s jet, an opportunity presented itself. I made no commitments or offers, other than to write this note. You do what you think is best. Louise wants to be with you again, but if you remember her personality, she simply can’t ask you. I verified that she had a recent STI test and that it was clean. I’m your attorney and I would never lead you astray! :-)

If you’re interested, ask her. There’s no issue with the flight, as she just needs to be in the co-pilot seat for the approach and landing in Chicago; I verified that with Samantha. If you want my advice, and I assume you do given you hired me as your personal attorney and Consigliere, then I advise you to spend three hours making my best friend feel very, very good. No commitments, as I said, and no promises. Just do what you think is right.

Remember I love you; I always have; I always will.

-Liz

I folded the card and put it back into the envelope. I mentally shook my head in disbelief, as I didn’t want to actually shake my head, so as not to upset Louise. The temptation was there, and I knew from how I felt, that it was going to win. My concern was, as I’d expressed to Kara and Jessica, that I felt things were spiraling out of control once again. If I was with Louise, and I knew, in the terms of the Borg, that resistance was futile, I HAD to take some time alone and get my head straight.

“I think I’m going to lie down,” I said. “If your duties allow, I’d very much like you to join me.”

Louise smiled, stepped forward to say something to LeeAnn, then followed me into the sleeping berth. She shut the door behind us and moved the slide to lock it.

“Is that body still as gorgeous as it was before?” I asked.

“You’ll have to judge for yourself!” she said.

She quickly unbuttoned her blouse, shrugged it off and tossed it onto the chair. Her bra followed, then her shoes, socks, slacks, and panties. She smiled, spun slowly, stopping to face me.

“It is,” I said.

“And you’re still in good shape?” she asked, licking her lips.

I quickly removed my polo, then kicked off my shoes, pulled off my socks, unhooked my belt, then pushed down my jeans and briefs and stepped out of them.

“Nice,” she sighed. “Karate and running?”

“Yes.”

She stepped close in front of me and took my hands in hers.

“I’m still quiet, reserved, and private in public,” she said. “But like the stereotypical mousey librarian, public and private are different. That day in Saint Martin changed me in one very important way; I’d like to show you.”

“I’m yours to do with anything you will,” I said. “Short of injuries or obvious marks.”

Louise laughed, “No ropes or floggers or anything like that!”

“You have grown up!” I replied.

“Lie down and I’ll show you!”

I got into the small bed and Louise knelt on the floor next to the bed, grasped my semi-rigid shaft and ran her tongue around my glans. I looked on as she stroked and licked me until I was rock-hard, and then watched in amazement as she took me into her mouth and slowly lowered her head until her lips pressed on my pubic hair. She had deep-throated me in one smooth motion! She sucked for a bit, then raised up until only my glans was in her mouth, then lowered her head until once again her lips pressed on my pubic hair. I felt her hand move to my sack and she gently squeezed and massaged me while continuing to deep throat me.

About every fifth bob, she lashed my glans with her tongue for a minute while stroking me with her free hand, then took me completely into her mouth again. She was doing an excellent job of slowly building to what I knew was going to be an over-the-top orgasm, and I was proved right about five minutes later. When I felt the urge, I tightened every muscle in my body and held my breath until I couldn’t prevent the inevitable.

A WellLived Life 2 Book 7 SakurakoChapter 57 Land of the Rising Sun Part III

June 23, 1994, Oguni, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan My first week in Japan flew by, and a routine developed. Sakurako would wake me; I’d exercise and run, then shower and have breakfast, and share tea with Sakurako. After breakfast, I’d meditate, and then have my training session. After lunch, I’d work in the garden, or, as I had this day, wash the floors in the house. Hiroshi would accompany me back to the cottage and we’d talk while I washed up and dressed for dinner. After dinner, I’d spend...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 7 SakurakoChapter 54 Westward Bound Or is it Eastward

June 15, 1994, Chicago, Illinois “That’s everything, I think,” I said. “My luggage is in the trunk of the car, I have my passport, tickets, and money, both dollars and yen. I can’t think of anything else.” “I’ll see you in five weeks,” Elyse said, giving me a quick hug. “Did you see they rioted in Vancouver last night because they lost the Stanley Cup?” I chuckled, “Only Canadians would riot when they LOSE the Cup! I did see that on the front page of the Trib. Are we ready?” “Michelle and...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 9 KamiChapter 6 As the World Turns

September 1, 1995, Chicago, Illinois “Morning, Doc!” I said enthusiastically on Friday morning. “How the HELL can you be so cheery this early in the morning?” Gina asked disgustedly. “I’m always cheery in the morning! And so is Birgit!” “Jess is right; you two are mutants!” “Let’s run, Doc!” I grinned. We ran our usual course through the park, then walked to Starbucks as had become our norm. I objected to paying $2.00 for a cup of coffee, or $5.00 if milk came within shouting distance...

A WellLived Life Book 6 Kara IChapter 5 Housemates

August 1981, Chicago, Illinois On Sunday morning, I made my usual call to Karin. I described everything in the apartment and all the things I’d done during the week, including the reception. Both of us would start school in a week and we were both looking forward to it. When we finished talking, I went out for my run, showered, and ate breakfast. I made some tea, started a load of laundry, and then turned on the stereo. I put on an REO Speedwagon album and then relaxed on the couch with the...

August 21, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “Unbelievable,” I said when I read the headline from the Chicago Tribune. “It says here that Solidarity activist Tadeusz Mazowiecki was nominated to be Prime Minister of Poland.” I hadn’t had a chance to read the paper on Sunday because it hadn’t been delivered before we left for the race track in Michigan. “So now what?” Kara asked. “We’re in totally uncharted territory. Your guess is as good as anyone’s right about now.” “Steve, do you have a minute?”...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 36 My Lifes Journey

July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I woke up early on the First of July, because my body clock was still set to Swedish time. The flight back had been long but uneventful, and I was happy that the businessman in the seat next to me hadn’t wanted to talk. I read, wrote some longhand journal entries, ate, and generally relaxed while the plane zipped over the Atlantic. I’d come home, taken a sauna, eaten a light meal, and gone straight to bed, not bothering to check messages, look at the mail that...

A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 4 Calm Before the Storm

June 1977 When I got home, I grabbed a Coke and some chips and went right to my room. I didn’t think I could deal with my parents or Jeff or Stephanie. I just needed to be by myself. That wouldn’t seem odd to anyone, because I often went to my room to read. In addition, I now had the TV I’d received for my birthday. I flipped it on to WXIX Channel 19 and reruns of Gilligan’s Island and Green Acres played in the background while I read. I had to get my mind clear for the final exams that...

July, 1982, Milford, Ohio I woke up early on Friday morning to make breakfast for Kara and her mom before she went to work. Mrs. Blanchard was surprised, but very pleased. After her mom left for work, Kara gave me a fierce kiss. “Thanks for staying in and cooking breakfast for us,” Kara said. “I hope that doesn’t cause you trouble with Stephanie, with you breaking your normal routine.” “Don’t worry about it,” I said, kissing her back. “We got in a bit later than I expected, and she’ll...

July, 1983, Chicago, Illinois After Rosie left, I stripped the sheets from my bed, as well as the cover of the duvet, and tossed everything into the washing machine. March 25, 2000, Chicago, Illinois “What time do I need to have you home?” “8:00pm will be fine,” Misty replied. “My parents are in Normal visiting my brother at Illinois State. They aren’t supposed to be home before 10:00pm.” Misty and I were in my car on the way to the NIKA apartment which, fortunately, was not being used. A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 7 Setting the Course of My Life

June 1977 Friday ended up being a non-event. The more I thought about it, the more I was sure that there was no way on this earth I could say what happened between Birgit and me was a sin. Calling it a sin would debase it into a meaningless act. I could never do that. And the more I thought about Jennie McGrath, the more sure I was that I couldn’t call what she did for me a sin, either. If the church was right, I was going to hell. And frankly, there was no way that could be true. So I...

May 11, 1992, Chicago, Illinois Monday was turning out to be a LONG day. After my run and talk with Gina, and my talk with Elyse, I had a full day at the office scheduled. January 19, 1989, En-Route from LAX to ORD When the engines of the plane started, Jeri reached over and took my hand. She held it while we pushed away from the gate, and taxied for takeoff. Her grip tightened a bit as we hurtled down the runway, but nothing like the death grip she’d had on my arm for the flight out. The plane roared its way into the air and once we leveled out, Jeri’s grip loosened but she didn’t let go of my hand. “How are you doing?” I asked with a touch of...

October 1982, Chicago, Illinois The drive back to Chicago was as uneventful as usual, and I arrived at the apartment just before 6:00pm. When I arrived, Elyse and Stephie were sitting on the couch and Jackie was sitting on the loveseat. Stephie hopped up as I opened the door and greeted me with a hug and a kiss. “Hi, Peaches!” I said. “Glad you’re home, Yankee!” “Hi, Steve,” Elyse and Jackie both said. “Hey,” I replied. “How was the weekend?” “Well, it was just Kurt with me, Stephie,...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 3 JessicaChapter 52 Lifestyle Choices

June 11, 1989, Chicago, Illinois It was just after 3:00am when I kissed Trish goodbye. She’d been an enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous lover. We’d done just about anything either of us could think of, though her breasts weren’t large enough for a tit-fuck. The last time had been in the shower where we’d ostensibly gone to clean up afterwards, but instead I ended up taking her from behind as she leaned against the wall of the shower. “I think I’ll have you again, Steve Adams,” she...

A WellLived Life Book 1 BirgitChapter 38 Freshman Year Ends

May 1978 The first couple of weeks in May were busy with school, work, and friends. Except for Becky, I didn’t even have any dates. But I was OK with that. Well, almost OK. I wanted to see Anna, but it likely wasn’t going to happen until school was out. I had tutoring sessions with Melanie, but she still wouldn’t talk to me about anything other than Spanish. Barely a hello. I was grateful for the tutoring, but it was maddening seeing my friend this way. I hoped someday she could understand...

A WellLived Life Book 6 Kara IChapter 44 Spring Break 1982 Part I

March, 1982, Milford, Ohio As I drove along I-65, I thought about what Stephanie had asked for and what Bethany had said without even knowing about the request. Of course, because Bethany and I were so in tune, she might have actually had an idea that I was struggling with getting involved with my sister again. I kept turning it over and over in my mind and I kept coming to the same conclusion — that I shouldn’t do it. I was torn between doing what Stephanie wanted and doing what Kara and...

September 7, 1992, Chicago, Illinois “That went reasonably well,” Michelle said when her parents drove off. “There were a few times I thought my expression would give away something I shouldn’t. You were messing with me, weren’t you?” She grabbed both my hands and smiled, “I was telling the truth, in my own way. Thank you!” She leaned forward and kissed my cheek. “So, what’s left?” I asked. “To visit UofC tomorrow and formally withdraw from classes. To spend some time with you and your...

A WellLived Life Book 6 Kara IChapter 14 A Southern Belle a Surprise Proposal two Cheerleaders an Old Flame and a Girl Back Home Part I

October 1981, Chicago, Illinois I arrived back at the apartment just before 10:00pm and saw the address for the party. I decided I wasn’t particularly interested in going so I put on some music, poured myself a glass of wine, and started reading more about Russia. I was alternating between the history and culture book and the Communist Party book, decided on the history and culture book for this time. I didn’t get much reading done because I was thinking about Tatyana, which led me to...

January 23, 1996, Chicago, Illinois “Father, bless!” I said, greeting Father Basil with upturned palms. “Bless you, Stephen,” he said as I kissed his hand. The waiter showed us to a quiet table along the wall of Roditys in Greektown. He took our drink orders and was back quickly. We placed our food orders right away and he left to put them in with the kitchen. “I’m not quite sure how to address this, so I’m just going to ask you bluntly. Are you the father of Michelle’s baby?” I shook my...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 8 NIKAChapter 68 The Rules

June 29, 1995, Chicago, Illinois On Thursday, I finally had lunch with Melissa again, something I hadn’t been looking forward to. Much like with Cèlia, Melissa and I had passed an inflection point and I was left with sub-optimal paths forward. I’d been struggling with the possible solutions, and all of them had pitfalls. When I walked into Takumi, I had something of a plan. Whether it was good or not would only be known once everything played out. “I spoke to my wives,” I said after we’d...

December 5, 2000, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota “I had a good time last night,” I said. “I was surprised you invited a friend!” Mary laughed as we walked into the exam room, “Naomi had a good time as well. You know what a Resident’s life is like.” I nodded, “No social life.” “Exactly. You guys seemed to hit it off pretty well.” “Yes, but I’m not here for that!” “You’re everywhere for that, and you know it!” I couldn’t help but laugh. “Let’s just say that you hit the sweet spot -...

A WellLived Life Book 3 PiaChapter 25 The Puzzle and the Cat Part II

March 1980, Hovås/Göteborg, Sweden I woke early as usual, but just enjoyed being in bed with Katt. When she woke, she hopped out of bed and pulled a robe out of her closet and handed it to me. “There’s a spare toothbrush in the bathroom. Go have your shower, then we’ll have breakfast after I have my shower.” I quickly showered and brushed my teeth, and went back to Katt’s room. She went to shower and came back a few minutes later. She dressed, and I got a very good look at her sexy body...

We’ll have some family time this afternoon. I don’t have any plans.” “Good!” I hugged her and the rest of the kids, then went to find Kara. September 3, 1989, Chicago, Illinois “Good morning, Sensei,” I said, bowing to Sensei Jim. “Good morning!” he said waving me to a chair in his office. “How was your trip?” I asked. “Enlightening. I spent most of my time acting as a manservant to Sensei Robert and Sensei Hiro.” “He who will lead, must first serve,” I said. “Someday, I’m going to send you to Sensei Hiro, should he live long enough. October 29, 2000, Chicago, Illinois Birgit followed me as far as the stairs, then scooted upstairs when I went to the front door and opened it. “Hi!” Sophie said. “Hi!” I replied and held the door open so she could come into the house. I closed the door behind her then led her to my study where I waited until she went in, and then walked in, closing the door behind me. I nodded to one of the wingback chairs, she sat down in one, and I sat down in the other. “Is something wrong?” she...

A WellLived Life Book 8 StephieChapter 61 Anala Part II

August, 1983, Chicago, Illinois I walked in the near 90°F heat to Carla’s place. I was grateful that the humidity of the morning had dropped significantly; otherwise the heat would have been unbearable. By the time I walked up the steps to the apartment over the photography studio and knocked on her door, I had broken into a light sweat. Carla answered almost immediately and invited me inside her studio apartment. The air was moderately cool, and the window air conditioner was running full...

July 1982, Milford, Ohio On Tuesday morning, I kissed Kara goodbye and headed to my parents’ house for my usual morning routine with my little sister. She was happy that I could spend the morning with her and asked to take a walk, so we weren’t in the house with my mom. “Let me guess — this walk will end in the clearing,” I said with a smile. “Yes,” she said, taking my hand as we walked down Overlook towards Klondyke. As usual, we turned around and walked back, taking the path to the...

March 13, 1994, Chicago, Illinois “Hi, Steve!” Ailea said when she opened the door. “Hi,” I replied, accepting the offered hug. There was no touching of lips, just of cheeks, and I wondered if I’d misread her intentions at her birthday lunch, or if, perhaps, she detected my reluctance to return the offered affection. “Lunch is ready, so go ahead and sit. I’ll bring it in from the kitchen.” I went to the low table, sat down, and a minute later, Ailea brought miso soup and sushi, our usual...

A WellLived Life 2 Book 10 BridgetChapter 72 An Explosive Discovery

April 3, 1997, Dallas, Texas “Remember what I said about drinking too much,” I said, as I poured bourbon into three cups. We’d stopped at a liquor store, bought a bottle of Blanton’s, and then returned to the small suite I’d reserved at the Westin. Deborah’s room was down the hall, and Krissy’s was two floors below. Krissy’s comment had caught me a bit off guard, but I hadn’t reacted visibly. I didn’t know her quite well enough to know if she’d been teasing with Deborah, so I was being...

September 1, 1987, Chicago, Illinois “I heard that you have some kind of plan to help Ed,” I said to Connie. “There’s no plan,” she replied. “A witness who saw the shopkeeper alive after Ed left came forward.” That sounded convenient, and I wondered if the witness was real or someone that Anthony had put forward to solve the problem. August 17, 1997, Chicago, Illinois We finished lunch and Marissa and the younger kids went to play, but Natalie sat with the adults to talk, with coffee, tea, or soft drinks. The Sarcus were very comfortable, but the Heaths were still struggling. But, vitally, they hadn’t left and hadn’t insisted Natalie leave the group. “Can you explain how you developed this attitude and approach?” Chris asked. July 1979 — Falkenberg, Sweden On Friday, when I got back from my run, Pam was in her bra and panties again. I whistled at her, she giggled, then finished dressing. I showered, and we went to breakfast and finished up our last day. Once class was done, we were pretty much free. On Saturday, we’d have several optional activities and then on Sunday we’d head back to our host families. After dinner on Friday, I took Pam’s hand and we walked towards the river. November 8, 1993, Chicago, Illinois A dark fog swirled before my eyes as I tried to take stock. My head hurt, badly. I felt something on my face and realized, dimly, it was an oxygen mask. My right hand was uncomfortable and I recognized the feeling of an IV and pulse-oximeter. My left arm ached fiercely. On my chest I felt the pads and wires of an EKG. I didn’t feel anything else wrong as I continued taking inventory. I tried to open my eyes, but the fog didn’t clear. I tried to speak, but...

August, 1983, Chicago, Illinois In the morning Anala and I ran as we had the previous time, then showered together, carefully washing each other’s bodies in an intimate but non-sexual way. After our shower we went to the kitchen and I made breakfast and we sat down to eat. “Steve, may I make a suggestion?” she asked. “Sure.” “Broaden your circle of friends. May 1979 The limo dropped me at home about 9:00pm. I took my stuff to my room, stripped, and hung up the tux. The rest of the things went into the hamper. I took a shower, put on shorts and a t-shirt, and walked down the hall into my dad’s office.
