They walked to her office and sat down.

She hung up the phone a few minutes later and looked at Ken rather sheepishly. "I'm sorry Mr. Whitestone. You understand that it avoids wasted time on all sides if we have an idea what we'll be working with."

Joan was getting flustered, which annoyed her.
