Owen looked on, “This is a big problem in some way?”

“The biggest,” Alice said. “They have no idea how we live or how we’ve loosened up. They don’t know about Pam or Heather, and certainly not about YOU, my loving boyfriend.”

Dave added, “It’s even more than just that they don’t know. It’s what is likely to be their extreme and severe disapproval of every aspect of how we live these days, and I mean EXTREME.” He was practically shouting in his nervousness.

Owen said, “Pam and Heather could come to my place for a couple of days.”

Dave and Alice both laughed. “It’s impossible to hide what’s going on. Look around. Everywhere you look you see small influences from each one of us as individuals and as a collective. The books on the bookcase, the painting by the foyer, the coats in the coat closet, the hats on the rack, a pair of gloves on the credenza by the door, the mail that comes for each one of us, labels on old magazines, Matthew’s toys scattered all over the place, and on and on. Everywhere you look you see the integration of four people who live here, and then there’s even your influence here Owen.”

“How am I connected here?”

Dave laughed with some irony in his voice, “Go look in the guest room. You leave clothing that’s your size and your brands of male cosmetics here, for instance. You and Alice have your own set of sex toys in the bedside table.” He laughed at their horrified look.

“You know about those?”

Dave laughed harder at the obvious answer to the question.

“What do we do?” Pam asked.

Alice paced to and fro in the living room for one circuit. She looked up and announced to everyone, “We do nothing! We continue just as we are.”

“Where are they staying?” Heather asked.

“Not here,” Alice said insistently. “There’s no room, and Owen you are requested to stay over with us during their visit. You are the official resident of the guest room. Pam and Heather live with us and sleep in our bed. I will also let it be known that you are my boyfriend. You can tell them as much or as little about your regular life as you want, or you can just be the guy that gave me three tattoos.”

Owen nodded, “I can stay, but I have some appointments here and there I have to keep from before lunch on Monday until five o’clock, even though it’s a holiday. When are they arriving?”

“Tomorrow, Sunday about two o’clock. My mother told me that my father wanted to get an early start because of the long drive from Memphis. They’ll be lucky if they can get my sister moving before eight o’clock, so I think it’ll be more like three or four providing they stop for lunch, which they will. My father happens to know the location of every Cracker Barrel restaurant within a thousand miles of their home.”

The five of them sat and strategized about how to handle the arrival and the revelations that needed to be made. Alice was twitching so much that Dave broke up their meeting for a while and took her for a walk.

“What’s the worst that could happen?” Dave asked her.

“They’d disown and shun me for the rest of my life,” Alice said. “I’d maybe cease to exist as far as they were concerned.”

“How do you think they’d treat our children – their grandchildren? Matthew?”

“Maybe as non-entities?”

Dave said, “Oh, come on. You know your mother is nuts about grandchildren. Every time we’ve seen them since we got engaged, she’s talked about ‘HER’ grandchildren that we’re going to deliver to her.”

Dave went on, “And how do you think your sister will think about our lifestyle?”

Alice actually chuckled, “Ah, comic relief. At first, Julie will totally freak out. She’ll pull out her broom and fly around the room backwards, yelling incantations and curses. Then, the whole idea will intrigue her so much that she’ll want all the lurid details, and soon after that she’ll be won over and be glad that I’m the one attracting my parents’ scrutiny and not her. In the end she’ll be a pal and advocate.”

“Can you live with all those worst-case scenarios? I can, even if they shun you totally.”

“It’ll make me sad, but yes. I would hope that over time, especially when I hatch a baby or two, that they’ll at least tolerate whatever we’re doing at the time.”

Dave squeezed her hand, “Now, an even more important question for you. Are you sorry that you loosened up – that you followed Dori’s advice and discovered your sexuality and changed your life in that direction?”

Alice stopped in her tracks, “NO! Not a single millisecond in my new life and not a single atom of my body has any regrets about what we’ve done and what we’ve become or how we live. I love the people we’ve brought into our family. Mostly, I love you and I’m so thankful that we agree on these things and whom we share our life with.

“I know it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. We’ve felt our jealousies and tensions and anxieties, for instance over my relationship with Owen, but I think things have settled out. I confess to worrying about you and Pam, and then you and Heather, but now I love them, too, and they love me I know. We’re a big polyamorous family, and then we have our friends that we can be intimate with and also share things with. We have the best life ever. I feel more loved now than ever before in my life.”

“Good,” Dave said. “Whatever is said, whatever insults or curses or spiteful words you hear, just remember that, and remember that I’m by your side and that I love you more than everybody else in the world put together. I am totally committed to you and to keeping you whole. If they get so unbearable that you can’t stand it, just say the word and I’ll throw them out of the house and we’ll never see them again. I am one hundred percent on your side – our side.”

“They’ll hate you and think that you led me down the primrose path. They’ll try to blame you.”

“I have broad shoulders, and I like walking along that path with you and our friends.” Dave laughed.

Sunday, at three thirty-three in the afternoon, the Waldorf’s car pulled up at the curb. They couldn’t pull into the driveway because of the other cars parked there. Dave suspected that fact alone would set a negative tone on their visit, especially with Alice’s father, Myron. He took in a huge breath of air, and then headed outside to greet them. In the foyer, he found Alice counting to twenty very slowly before she went out.

The initial greetings of Myron and Elsie seemed to go smoothly. There was minor mention of the low level of communications Alice had with her family these days, but that got glossed over with discussions about what to bring into the house and what to leave in the car. Julie greeted everybody, and then just hung out and watched what was happening. She wore a somewhat dowdy long-sleeve dress with a hemline below her knees, and buttons up to her neck, despite the relatively warm weather – certainly warmer than Ohio.

Alice girded herself as the first suitcases were set on the ground from the trunk of the car. “Mother, Father, I’m afraid we don’t have room for all of you here. Julie is welcome to crash on the living room sofa, if she wants, but we don’t have any available beds for all of you.”

Elsie looked puzzled, “Why ever not? I thought you had two guest rooms.”

Alice tightened her sphincter muscles, “Oh, we do, but they’re occupied by other guests that stay with us. They’re kind of members of our family now. Come in and we’ll introduce you. We did book you a suite at the Carlyle Hotel just two miles from here; Dave checked out the accommodations this morning and they are very nice.” She tried to sound accommodating and eager to see them.

Myron stood tall and puffed out his chest, “Am I to understand that you don’t have room for your own family?”

Dave intervened, “We just think you’ll be more comfortable in the suite. The house is always a buzz of activity from early in the morning until quite late at night. It’s not the most soundproof place. Matthew, who you’ll meet, often awakens in the night and makes a lot of noise. Moreover, the people staying with us have all of their possessions in our spare rooms. This is their home; they’re not just visiting for two or three days.”

Myron harrumphed, and put the suitcases back into the trunk of the car. He mumbled, “All right, let’s just see who these other people are.” He was obviously concerned about what his daughter was up to.

Alice led her parents and sister up to the front door and inside. Heather was working on her university reading list at the dining room table even though classes hadn’t started. Owen sat watching an NFL football game on the TV in the family room. Pam was in the kitchen helping with a large dinner for everyone. She looked very domestic and wifely.

Owen muted the TV and came to greet Alice’s parents. He was exceptionally cordial, commenting on how tired they must be after the seven-hour drive. Pam and Heather both came forward for introductions, too. The greetings were saccharine.

Alice explained that Pam traveled quite a bit in connection with her engineering consulting work to the utility power industry, and that Heather was just experiencing a major life change as she prepared to start classes the next day at the nearby university. Heather volunteered that she had been kicking around low-paying jobs and then got a dose of motivation to go back and get her college degree. She smiled at Owen and the family, and noted she’d gotten a scholarship.

About that time, Matthew ran into the room and up to Alice. “Aunt Alice, Aunt Alice, Rocky the squirrel is on the television again. He’s my favorite cartoon character.” He turned and raced back out of sight to the other TV they set up for him in the far corner of the family room. Alice didn’t even have time to introduce him. She just said, “That was Matthew.”

Myron and Elsie’s mouths were agape. Julie’s face betrayed monumental curiosity and interest. She was still trying in interpret what was actually going on.

Left unspoken was the role that Owen, Pam, or Heather and Matthew played in the Prentiss’ ‘family’. The words had been spoken a couple of time – these people were referred to as part of the ‘family’ – but how they fit in had not been explained.

Dave kind of helped solve that when he offered up a tour of the house. “The last time you were in this neck of the woods, we were in our old house over on West Wind Drive. As you can probably see, this one is a lot larger. We moved from 1,200 square feet to about 3,000 square feet in this house, plus we have a large patio, pool, and Jacuzzi, as well as a two-car garage. Come and let me show you quickly, although it’s a little too cool to use the pool or Jacuzzi.”

Julie bonded right next to Dave as he led her, Myron, and Elsie out onto the pool deck, pointing out various features of the yard, landscaping, and backyard accoutrements. He brought them back into the house at the far end of the bedroom wing, taking them down the hall back to the main living space.

He gestured into one room, “This is the room Pam and Heather use for their clothing and as a dressing and makeup area. It has an ensuite bath, which is nice if we’re all going out or getting ready for work or in Heather’s case school.

“This next bedroom is pretty much Owen’s room. He does have a condo downtown, but prefers living with us as his intentional family ... and this next room is the master bedroom. Of course, we knew you were coming; it’s not always this neat. And then, here we are back in the living room and dining area. The other side of the house is the family room you saw, laundry and garage. Matthew has captured the TV in the family room for the afternoon. There’s a large storage room over there, too. We could use a lot more closet space.”

Elsie observed, “I only saw two beds – one in your master bedroom, and one in what you referred to as Owen’s room. Where do Pam and Heather sleep?”

Alice had taken a large inhale of air anticipating a question like this. “Why with us, of course? They’re part of our family.”

“Excuse me?” Alice’s mother’s voice rose an octave on those two words.

“Mother, the five of us that you have met are a polyamorous family. We live together – by choice and intention, because we love each other.”

Dave heard Julie’s low whistle behind him and the utterance sotto voce, ‘Cool.’ He almost broke out in hysterical laughter. Inside, behind his cool exterior, he was rolling on the floor laughing his ass off and kicking his feet in the air in comic relief.

Myron started to sputter, “You ... the five of you are ... you ... what... ?”

Elsie said in an insistent voice, “Explain yourself, Alice.”

Alice shrugged. She refused to be drawn into the role of a bad child. She said, “Poly means many, as in more than two in this case, and amorous means loving, so polyamorous mean many people loving each other. Because we feel that way about each other, we also live together under the same roof. We are very harmonious together. A harmonious and loving family life is very important to all of us.”

Loosening Up Book 1 Journey StartChapter 9 Three Tattoos Plus

Alice followed Owen across the hall to another private room at Greg’s Tattoos establishment. Suddenly, she had ideas about a more elaborate couple of tattoos just to get Owen’s attention and tease him. Owner had her sit on the edge of the adjustable chair in the room. “OK, what’d you pick and where do you want them?” He smiled broadly at her, obviously remembering their passion the night before. “I want a small red heart on my left breast, about here.” She touched the outside of her...

The pair kissed and hugged, Alice’s generous bare breasts mushing against Dave’s manly chest and making him most aware of the sharp nubbins burrowing into his skin. She was aroused; so was he. He pulled her over on top of him, and Alice fondled his meat until the tip was rubbing against her navel. She rose up on one knee and sank down onto his shaft, totally enveloping him in a feeling of ecstasy for the two of them. “Oh, God. You are so satisfying – so fucking satisfying.” Dave chucked,...

Owen roused Alice from her slumber beside him and as naked as he was. “Come awake my darling lover. We have a plane to catch. I want to briefly show you Rome before we head back to the real world.” Alice moaned, “Come and make love to me first.” Owen was so easy to convince. The serious moves to get from bed didn’t occur for another forty-five minutes. Three hours later, Owen’s plane set down at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport twenty miles from Rome’s center. A limousine whisked them into the...

Wednesday morning, Dave reminded Alice, “Remember I’m bringing my consultant lady friend home for dinner – Pam Hodge. You’ll like her. She’s smart, analytical, and very social. After dinner, I’ll drive her back to her hotel.” The couple talked about arrangements for dinner. Dave allowed as how he would drop some groceries off over the lunch hour, and Alice agreed to play chief cook that evening. The pair made a grocery list together and then left for work. Friday evening, Dori and Alice headed off to the Club Ecstasy right after an early work. Dori explained that there was probably an hour of prep that Alice would have to go through before she was ready to dance. For one, she needed to do all the government forms that would get her paid; for another, there was extensive makeup required to give her an appealing but tarty appearance as one of the sexy dancers. Dori also wanted her to meet the bouncers, the bartender, and the other dancers. Dave...

Alice was quiet at cocktail time. Pam was traveling, so also wasn’t around to probe. The next night at dinner Alice seemed to have reached some resolution. She was upbeat and amazingly alive. Dave commented, “You’re much different tonight than last night.” Pam, who’d come home that afternoon,...

He gave a huge sigh as she drove away and said a small prayer. An hour later, Christie pulled up at Dave and Alice’s house. She was dressed in a pair of daisy duke shorts that were barely there and showed a lot of ass cheek, and a tight crop top that showed significant under boob and invited playing with obviously unclad and very generous breasts....

The format for the Club Ecstasy was different on Saturday night compared to the weeknights. The place intentionally became more ‘couples friendly’ with some regular dancing interspersed between the striptease performances, a live DJ for music that liked to fire up the audience, a chef in the early evening so the club could serve complete dinners instead of only bar food, and more traditional waitresses instead of some of the strippers doing double or triple duty. The club even had valet...

Saturday evening a couple of weeks later the four couples gathered at Dev and Wendy’s sprawling ranch house at the end of one of the neighborhood cul de sacs. Like the other homes, they also had a large pool, and this one had the added feature of complete privacy. None of the adjacent homes had a line of sight into their back yard and their home backed up to wetlands. The weather was again exceptionally warm, so only minimal clothing was worn to the usual get-together. Wendy had put the word...

Alice carefully placed the end of the one-foot ruler against her labia. The dress had a freeway of three inches between the hem and her beautifully bare pussy. Alice smiled and looked at herself in the mirror again: short electric blue dress – hem higher than mid-thigh, what Dave had started to...

Dave delivered Gabbie Carson to a flight back to Philadelphia on Monday morning from Dayton airport. She was able to get a ‘dead head’ seat on another airline and had to be at work the next morning. She’d be able to hitch a ride back to her home in Delaware from her roommate who was working on a red-eye flight from California to Philly. Their parting was teary on her part, but he promised he’d see again and even be one of her lovers again after she moved to the Circle. He also urged her to...

Loosening Up Book 1 Journey StartChapter 7 More Firsts for Dave and Alice

Dave smiled, and stroked her thighs as Wendy repositioned herself in his lap and spread her legs over his so he had the kind of access he needed to please her. Getting Wendy to the point her feminine fluids were seeping from her slit only took a couple of minutes. That was when the vibrator slowly made its initial foray into her went vagina with the speed adjustments on the device set to the minimum. Wendy moaned, and Dave turned the speed slightly higher. He pushed the device in and out...

Loosening Up Book 1 Journey StartChapter 13 Monumental Events

Saturday evening, the group assembled at the Winter’s house. Ty graciously acted as host and barbecue czar for the evening, accompanied by the other men. Alice escorted Pam around and again introduced her to everyone. She didn’t need to try too hard regarding any explanation of her new role; Dori had nicely paved the way through her Saturday morning visits with the others to make sure everyone knew that the Prentices had a new member in the family, and that Pam would be a full...

Loosening Up Book 1 Journey StartChapter 27 More of the Saturday Party A Phone Call

Alice pulled Heather with her as she went to Owen. Dave wondered if there was safety in numbers. He felt certain that Alice wanted to make love with Owen but knew she was worried about her own fortitude to resist his attraction to a deeper and dangerous relationship – dangerous to her marriage, in any case. Maybe Heather was part of her ploy to keep things a little lighter. Dave watched some other combinations of the guests match up. Pam and Dev were locked together in some smoking hot...

My dick throbbed, still slick with Kora's juices. My sister shivered, her round breasts...

Loosening Up Book 2 CohousingChapter 25 Experiment in Reality

Susan said, “This sounds a bit like a cult.” Dave chuckled. It wasn’t the first time he’d heard the accusation about the Circle. In a way, every unique group was a cult in his mind. His old Christian church had been more of a cult than the Circle because of how they restricted everyone’s thinking to only the rules and such they wanted the congregation to adhere to, but then again, the Circle tried to select its members based on their own set of beliefs about life and love. Alice nodded at...

Loosening Up Book 10 Road Trip EastChapter 12 Vermont

After reluctantly leaving Jessie’s home in Rochester, Dave meandered east across New York State. He had one particular destination in mind in the small town of Oneida – touring the Mansion House that had housed the most famous polyamorous communities in the world in starting in 1848 and that remained a symbol of one. Of course, the silverware that the community also produced went on to become some of the most revered, as well, but for Dave or anybody in the Circle, this place was...

Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 10 Felicity

Dave had a habit of checking on the various rooms in the core to see how they were being used and what condition they were in just by occasionally strolling by. Some weeks he checked daily and other weeks perhaps not at all. He was on his round and opened the door to one of the relatively unfinished areas in the core. A hasty but colorful painted sign hung on the door said, ‘Art Studio’. He noted Colleen’s name and phone number under the words. He peeked into the room and saw Colleen...

Loosening Up Book 8 Decade Remembered Decade StartedChapter 32 Dr Marie Thereaux

Dave did a quick change from his casual garb into shorts and a casual top in his house, and was behind the bar in less than five minutes. He shifted his thinking from working with Marie Thereaux’s students, to helping out at the bar. His co-workers that evening were Nikky and Savannah working the tables, and Chelsea, Tony, and Barry behind the bar or scooting around the patio to nearby high-top tables. Before he could take an order, Kellie and Barbara waved frantically at him, indicating...

Some indeterminate time later, Dave felt his consciousness return. Pam was wrapped in his arms and he could feel her heart beating in synch with his. He kissed the part of her face that he could reach. She moved and their lips met in loving splendor. Pam softly said, “I love you.” Dave said, “I love you, too. That was spectacular.” Beside the two of them Alice and Owen clapped. “Great theater,” Alice said in a humorous tone. “I now know what we look like when we get really serious about...

Dave thanked Ritchie Rich for the opportunity to observe the filming of a porn video. Pam just gave him a large grin of agreement from slightly behind Dave. Richie explained a little about what the scene would entail. “Christie and I are going to play the part of a married couple who are kind of getting carried away in our living room. We start having sex, but then two of my friends come by, walking around the back of the house to see if we’re by the pool. They happen to look in the window...

Loosening Up Book 1 Journey StartChapter 26 A Slight Awkwardness

Dave, Pam, and Alice hosted dinner Wednesday night for their ‘surrogate’ spouses, in this case Owen Bennett, Roy Goodman, Christie Lee, and Heather Manning. Dave barbecued steaks and chicken on the outside grill, but the temperatures were cool so they ate in their dining room. The mood was festive. Both Alice and Dave seemed to have come to grips over the tension and anxiety resulting from Alice’s emotional attachment to Owen and the trip to Europe. Owen’s feelings might be another issue to...

Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 28 Moving in the Right Direction

“Mr. Prentiss, this is your friend from Houston. I believe the possible threat to you and your community has passed. Just so you know, the opposition visited about thirty other gated communities in your county. Vigilance is always recommended, but whatever their mission, they seemed unsuccessful. The two men we’d tracked went back to Colombia two days ago, and seem to have assumed their old jobs. We have reason to believe they convinced themselves that your friend is dead or that erasure is...

Loosening Up Book 10 Road Trip EastChapter 4 North Carolina

Dave stood atop Kill Devil Hill on the outer banks, looking around at the landscape of beach and sand dunes on the North Carolina barrier island. He tried to imagine what it must have been like in the year 1903 for Wilbur and Orville Wright and their motorized glider aircraft that wasn’t much more than a kite with a clunky motor. He closed his eyes and tried to think what December seventeenth must have been like as their craft made three journeys across the dunes from the launch rail. The...

Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 15 Revision of History

After Wendy’s exit, no one made any further reference to the family. Those members who’d been at the short departure meet with Wendy briefly mentioned the family safety to each other and that was the end of the discussion. Everyone in the Circle and that knew the Connors were warned to never mention their name again and ‘reminded’ that they’d never known anybody by that name. The Circle Board made a decision to hold the house in the Board’s name, a point already executed in ‘official’...

Loosening Up Book 9 Fantasies Among the WeedsChapter 32 Holidays Chaos

The relatively calm autumn came to a crashing end before Thanksgiving. There were a number of reasons for this change to chaotic behavior. Many in the Circle were affiliated with the university, most as students – students, most of whom, became frantic about the rapidly ending semester and the amount of course material they still had to digest in order to get a passing grade. About two-hundred Circle members and pledges, the largest number ever, decided to stay in Sarasota for Thanksgiving...

Loosening Up Book 8 Decade Remembered Decade StartedChapter 23 Circle Tattoos Police Presence

Dave laughed when he went online and went to the Circle’s website. Erin Steckler maintained the site for everybody in the Circle as part of her service duties. The work blended nicely with her freelance reporting for the Sarasota Herald and a couple of other papers. The password for the site was ‘Circle’ – not creative, not really secure, but easy to remember. The opening page consisted of the near pornographic photographs of about twenty Circle tattoos – each very close to each woman’s...

Dave’s cell phone rang just as the Circle was finishing dinner. The call came from Aaron, his brother. “Hi, Big Brother.” “Bro, what’s up?” “Well, Shelby and I have the last week of February free and were wondering whether we could come and visit and take over your guest room or a room or two in that other house on your Circle? The weather has been sucky up here with no relief is in sight. We can both take some vacation time that week, so coming south seemed in the cards. If it’s...

In the morning, Dave rode with Doris to a nearby tire store. They did have the correct tire size, except she needed two tires in order to balance on the car opposite each other. The bill was over four hundred dollars. Dave heard Doris asking if they had any used tires that could get her to Seattle. Dave stepped over to her, “This is on me. You can pay-it-forward. Besides that, I owe you some serious money for your coaching last night. I know you didn’t do that for free when you were back in...

Loosening Up Book 8 Decade Remembered Decade StartedChapter 12 New Friends Old Friends

Saturday morning Dave tended the omelet station as many Circle members gathered for weekend breakfast. He got a steady stream of kisses from most of the women and lots of fist bumps from his male friends as they stopped by to say hello. The Circle had gotten so large that many members didn’t see each other until the weekend. There seemed to be a special jovial atmosphere on the large patio that morning as more and more people arrived. Dave ate his own small omelet with Cord and the twins...

Millie was truly a beautiful mature woman in every way. She had an aura of beauty around her that wasn’t just physical. She gave off vibes of being loving, friendly, gracious, and agreeable to work with. He knew that if he had the right visual sensitivity, he’d probably be able to see a halo over her head, as well as a beautiful aura. Those vibes carried a spiritual element to them that made him feel deeply connected to her in mind, body, and spirit. Millie was wearing Bermuda shorts and a...

As Dave, Holly, and Alice reached the patio, Shelby bounced up to Dave and plastered her nude body against his. They kissed like the world was about to end and the kiss would save everything, and then she reached down and fondled him. “Can we make love again? Matthew’s already gone for his grandmother’s.” “Where’s Aaron?” “He and Julie are probably fucking or making love or both in the pergola at the other end of the pool. We could go and join them.” She smiled, clearly indicating that that...

Dave made the rounds over the next three days as the opportunity presented itself for him to see every Circle member and affiliate. The question he asked was, ‘What do you think of Dale and Susan Harnett becoming Circle members?’ The response was uniform and enthusiastic, ‘Oh, yes. I’ve been treating them as though they were members, but certainly. They belong with us.’ When Dave had talked to everybody, he suggested to Dale that he and Susan stay over to the following Tuesday before...

As Dave heard her end the call, she tore the headset from her head and came into his arms for her morning kiss and hug. “I love you.” “And I love you, Nikky Thomas. A large circle of people sat in a Circle in the aftermath of a superb dinner served by Chef Bobbie – miniature Beef Wellingtons with a natural sauce served with fresh Belgian asparagus. The group had just finished praising the Chef as she sat naked in Aaron’s arms incessantly teasing him by grinding her pussy against his bathing suit covered cock. “Keep that up, Babe, and I’ll have to do something about your forward nature.” “Oh, dear, “ Bobbie feigned with a wrist to her forehead, “I can...

A few days later at Dori and Ty’s house, Dave got tapped on the shoulder. He turned around, “Are you still avoiding me?” Rachel asked in a pleasant tone. Dave counted back the weeks on two hands right in front of her. “Hmmmm. It’s been twelve weeks. You tell me how you’re feeling and let me think about it.” Rachel crossed her arms and then looked peeved, “I’m feeling a bit like a pariah with you, and that makes me sad. I still love you, but I think you accomplished what you set out to do,...
